Hey, this is Brian. Welcome back to the channel. A lot of times we talk about what the police do to us instead of talking about what they absolutely won't do for us. We hear cops say a lot that they're conducting an investigation. And if we don't step back, we're interfering with their investigation and we could be charged with obstruction of justice. Well, this video right here proves that all that is just a bunch of smoke and mirrors [ __ ] so that they can exercise and exert control over people who might be in a situation they don't want us in. And the reason I say that is because when they have an opportunity to conduct a real investigation to solve a real crime, they're not interested in doing anything but closing the case before even conducting the investigation. And this all centers around the lack of investigation by the Phoenix Police Department. The same Phoenix Police Department that has so many black marks against them. They had to be investigated by the DOJ. By the way, the same Phoenix Police Department, I did a video on this a couple weeks back, who tried to frame this woman right here when a cop walked out into traffic in front of her vehicle. And they, the prosecutors, the Phoenix Police Department, withheld the video evidence that would have cleared her name and they continued to prosecute her. And not a lot of people have seen this video yet. You really should take the time to watch it. This really unears exactly how evil prosecutors and police departments can be as they conspire against the rest of us. I'll leave a link in the description and in the pin comment for you. That's the Phoenix Police Department that we're talking about in this case right here. Check this out. A hitand-run crash caught on camera in Phoenix. Now, police say they closed the case because of a lack of evidence, >> but the victim's mother got her hands on surveillance video, a piece of evidence that was not collected by police. It's right over here. Fox 10's Lindsay Reags from the scene near 35th Avenue and Filmore. Tonight, Patricia was standing in this parking lot near 35th Avenue in Filillmore when a car backed into her and left the scene. It was caught on camera right outside Tiny Bubbles Laundry. On June 6th, around 11 p.m., Patricia Tavapont was leaning over the trunk of her parked car when a black car crashed into her. This is horrible. So, if you were a cop, and you wouldn't be because you're not a psychopath, but let's say you were a cop, what would be the first thing that you would do in your investigation? Hey, I wonder if there were any videos running. Wonder if there's surveillance cameras around this place. Maybe I should go into this laundromat and talk to the owner and see if we can't see what's going on here. See if we can't actually solve a crime. >> The car backed into me with full speed and I literally screamed out. >> The driver did not stop to help. Instead, he drove off. I immediately covered my black my back of my knee right here and to apply pressure so I can try and stop the bleeding a little. >> Then Patricia called 911. >> EMTs arrived, the police arrived. They asked me what happened. I told them um they checked me out and they took me to the hospital. >> Patricia underwent 5 hours of vascular surgery to repair an artery. Her mother, Charlene Yazy, would keep in contact with the detective on the case, only to find out after two weeks the case was closed without identifying the suspect. That's when she asked Doug Ko, the owner of Tiny Bubbles Laundry, for surveillance video of >> Keep that name in mind, Doug Ko, cuz they're going to be talking directly to Doug and get his take on, hey, were the police involved in this investigation? Did did they even call you to find out if you had any surveillance footage? And at this point, let me just say, what do you think would have happened if when the police arrived on the scene, they found that this woman was an offduty police officer or just an onduty police officer? They would turn every stone. They would not sleep. They would not stop deploying resources to find out who injured their fellow thin blue line gang member. And yet they won't afford this to a member of the community who, you know, pays taxes, gets taxes extracted for them so that we can give nice hefty paychecks and days off to these police officers and they're not going to turn around and do any kind of investigative work. >> The hitand-run crash. That was devastating. And you could you could see clear as day who these people are. >> There they are. They're there. There's the guilty party. Now, I looked up on the internet. Have they caught these people yet? I don't see any indication that the Phoenix Police Department has moved one inch toward finding out who these people are, where they live, what their license plate number was. I'm telling I guarantee you if you or I backed into a cop, we would get our doors knocked in at 2:00 that next morning and every occupant of that house would be hauled in in handcuffs and questioned under the white hot spotlight of the Phoenix Police Department. But they can't find these guys. They can't take one damn investigative step toward finding out who these people are and bringing them to justice. you know, uh just yeah, very frustrating and overwhelming that, you know, somebody could just tell you that it's nothing that they could do. The video was there. >> Doug says Phoenix police never reached out to him for surveillance video. >> Now, just so it's clear, Doug is the owner of the laundromat. Listen to Doug's testimony. >> Name of the detective from from Shirley. Um I left her a voicemail. I was pretty upset. Let them know that um uh I I was extremely upset that I heard that they closed the case. Nobody's come looking for any type of of of video. >> Because of the seriousness of what happened to Patricia, Doug spent additional time scrubbing through surveillance video to get clear photos of the driver and passenger. We blurred the faces of those two people because they are not currently charged with the crime. >> There they are. Why aren't you getting them, Phoenix Police Department? What's the deal? >> I got video of them in the store doing laundry. I got video of them loading money onto a laundry card. >> We reached out to the Phoenix Police Department about this case. However, they were unable to release any information. We have put in a public records request to get that information. >> So, you've got the mother of the victim doing the investigative research to find out what was going on. You've got the owner of the laundromat doing investigative research to find out what's going on. And you have the news station, the local news station doing investigative research to the point where they have to get foyer requests to find out what's going on from the police department. But you have the Phoenix Police Department not lifting a finger to help these people. So, I got a question for you. if cops won't because they can't get there in time to help you while a crime is being committed against you. Because you know after you call 911 when seconds count, police are minutes away. And if they don't give a damn about helping you after a crime has been committed against you, why do we need cops again? And what are we actually paying them for? And just to reiterate, I followed up and I did some research and digging around and I haven't found any evidence where the Phoenix Police Department have even apprehended these people yet. So, these people are still at large. Thanks, Phoenix Police Department, for nothing. If you have any tips or leads to track these people down and bring them to justice, leave a comment in the comment section below.
