yeah can one of yall or can you and H do
a welfare check on the R's address is it
a woman that's the RO yeah South yeah
Ocean Walk compartments tags in the
call yeah let's do a welfare check so
that way if she is a we at least get one
side of the store and we know what
happened and it's not a call that comes
in tomorrow yeah during the daytime and
we don't get you know shafted for not
following up and doing due diligence all
right I'll leave you all to it um if you
do get something at the house over there
you just let me know I'm thinking the
dollar bills just cuz like yeah it's
enough to go and talk to where he lead
minimal well he's and it doesn't look
like any of the blood's his no it's all
dried over his face he may have a cut on
his arm yeah it's kind of hard to tell
broken skin but it's all over his face
and there's no cut on his face what
began as a routine traffic stop quickly
escalated into a much more serious
situation based on the evidence found at
the scene officers conducted a welfare
check hello yeah the police we don't
care about the weed the police
department we don't care about the weed
we just want to talk to
you hello how you doing good good good
well sir look at for she
live she's not here no she live here
they moving out do she live here right
now currently
though and she's moving out is she
already moved out or is she still she
already moved out where does she live
sir I don't know where she live now let
me ask you do you know Delma in
Washington Delma Washington yeah do you
know him yeah who is he to you he's
nothing to me who is he to
who what are they together are they a
couple or what are they D
[Music]
Washington is was with
my my second oldest daughter okay okay
and who who Who's That what's what's the
first
name okay okay okay he beat him for8
years okay so have you seen him tonight
no was he here tonight
I don't know you don't know if he was
here in your apartment tonight that's
not my apartment I I am the grand I am
yeah so who whose apartment is
this lived here but she her
last day was the day and it was cleaning
it up oh so who who lives here right
now today who lives here besides well we
was helping her clean up oh so where is
she at you know no will she answer
yourin Wason made a statement no no no
no this is just us asking questions what
I'm what I'm curious about
is if you call is it how do you say my
grand okay if you call her will she
answer if you call her cell phone will
she answer you I don't have a cell phone
you know her phone number you can use
mine
no she's not here no she left here's
here's what I want to get to with you
you're her grand what what what down
with Washington listen that's what I'm
about to tell you I want to make sure
that she's okay that's what we're here
for to make that's why we're here right
now at midnight to make sure your
granddaughter's okay and if she's here
we just want to see her and make sure
she's here okay so nobody's been here
with you for the last 6
hours God Mercy 6 hours I just came two
hours ago okay and nobody's been here
for the last two
hours with you yeah
who we're trying to get at who who's
who's with you we're trying to find do a
Ware a check and that d d washon made
statements that he was going to Mur no
no no no no this is us doing our due
diligence and following up and making
sure that she's okay that's
all we have no reason to believe
anything but we're just wanting to make
sure that she's okay I know down
Washington he beat the shut out of my
oldest daughter for eight years okay
any and he's
soy so where would where would Tama be
if she's not here I don't know I know
she had to have a place to stay correct
did she you know where she's moving
to no was she living with
delmond no she's not living with don't
live with delmond Washington okay so who
does she live with like I said we just
want to find her make sure she's all
right man that's it
she's okay how do we know that how do
you know that because I'm I'm
grandfather I understand that and her
and her mama
is and don't live with him no more okay
and he's pissed off about that when did
that break up
happen when did that break up happen you
know Jesus
Christ you you know but women fall in
with a cycle well possibly but I'm just
I'm not asking about that I'm asking
when that broke up like when did they
break up I don't know when they broke up
because they can say they broke up but
they ain't broke up so where's
the his mom right yeah that's my
daughter okay so daughter and your
granddaughter yes and
that's is
is excuse me off is that a problem no
kind of
that must that Co lady told them
something that's not the case at all
that's not the case that's not even
remotely close is here this is my
apartment what's going on you going tell
me you going talk to me this is my
grandpa okay so who are you
you're
brother his husband okay all right so
she if we this is our last day here
we're moving out clean it up okay right
was see was clean help enough clean
everybody has like was Delmon and and
and your mother-in-law and your wife
here with you too or no my wife was here
okay we not together anymore we're still
married but we separated okay know what
I'm saying yeah like they left what but
would that one have to do with this face
this is an address that we have for a
I'm sorry I keep messing that up address
this an address that we have for
rightfully so because that's your wife
so we want to make straight up with you
right but kind
of I'm I'm being honest I mean kind of
you are kind of being straight up cuz
there's two other people in the
apartment that weren't originally here
when we asked you why you mentioned the
car what's wrong with the car wrong with
the car oh okay okay no but you said you
got it right well like I said there's
there's aspects to this that we can't
discuss with you because it's still an
ongoing thing like I said what we're
doing is a welfare check and making sure
that these people are okay that's it
that's all we're doing no but yeah like
yeah a couple minutes ago so
I don't know
about Tyreek driving the car right right
yeah who's
Tyreek oh I understand washingt be I
heard yes yes yes I heard so oh yeah I
mean you want me to try to like call you
want me to call who no it's all right we
got to figure out I got to figure it out
we can yeah but like yeah like I know
where was the car where's the car at
there V
to the C car would you tell us where it
wasn't I could tell the registered owner
registered
own like I said there's aspects of this
I can't tell you that's her husband can
you tell
him the Civ car is getting car is
registered to her name she's the
registered owner the car is being told
because where it was where it was parked
so it was parked up on a curb halfway in
the road a driveway blocking driveways
um can't leave explain your look
suspicious that way
that dri you found an ID in it that's
why I'm saying and that's another reason
here so it's to make sure I told them
that Mr Washington a nobody know nothing
about she okay or nothing that's what
we're trying to figure out we've been
here for the last 20
minutes no no I got an address that I
can go to we're going I think we should
like let me see let me I want I want to
I want to see because
I try to call her she answer she all
right we're going to head down to that
address all right during the welfare
check the officers received a call
providing them with an address where the
female might be located although they
had no luck at the first location they
eventually found her 2 hours later what
they discovered was devastating they
took her to the
hospital no ma'am she's still in there
we got to wait for detectives now
so so she she's going she passed away so
what they what they say
on investigated further
on see her face
recognize face are you the one that
found her ma'am yeah they said they
couldn't find her and and they told
about her boyfriend and got wrestling
and that so I said well let me cuz she
was with him earlier let me come check
over here the door was
open she was on her stomach and like
like blood was everywhere I just ran
out when when did this lady come in this
other lady when I came out and when I
was screaming and hollering and and I
was talking to my son on the phone
somebody get over here and she come down
the street I don't know and um and then
she went in with my my my
granddaughter's boyfriend oh
and and I went back in there and I guess
they flipped her over or he or he did
the your the boyfriend did her over
boyfriend CU when I went back in there I
seen her face okay and and she kept
saying oh she breathing she breathing
she breathing shut the up you know just
get away from me you know I was like she
said I got to put in jail but so but she
came in after you she wasn't here first
correct no I was here first because I
couldn't find her and I kept holding her
so I said well let me right around the
corner said let me let me let me let me
come over here and check so the door was
open and she just laying there like
naked and and blood everywhere and she
wouldn't say nothing to me just I tried
to shake her and and tell her to talk to
me but she didn't she didn't do nothing
okay
okay yeah the crazy the other lady she
came in afterwards she wasn't here first
at all no not that I know not I mean I
came here first I don't know if she was
here before I don't know but did she
touch her at all
probably yeah yeah yeah she did cuz she
she kept saying oh she's breeding she's
breeding she's okay and I'm
like okay she came in afterwards she's
in she her name's Barbara she's not a
neighbor she's just some yeah some crazy
person I just want shut
the so she's saying that she was the one
that found the body
yeah she called and then Miss Smith came
in after the fact when she came outside
screaming and trying to you know she's
screaming for help yeah we got all that
we just Smith came in after the fact
touching the body saying oh she's
breathing [ __ ] like that where she so
where did she come from so she knew she
knew we were cuz we've been driving
around town looking for him he can
attest that he was over here with us
earlier um we've been to like seven
different addresses trying to track this
lady down um
I think did Malik talked to you already
about the traffic stop and all that okay
so um I guess she found out we contacted
her trying to find this lady so she knew
where she lived yeah and so she came
over here after the fact and that's when
she she found what she found so and
Barbara just came in yep he when she
came outside
screaming
the her daughter's boyfriend went in and
then Barbara Smith went in with
boyfriend is that uh
um ma'am which which gentleman went in
after after you the one that went he's
in the car there the one in the car yes
CJ yeah CJ he goes
yeah then and then that that that street
lady went in there too yeah and um they
say calm down calm down she's breathing
and and and she like will you will you
have uh CJ come talk to the deputies
over here please please if you don't
mind I can't leave the I need to stay
right here
so I like that maybe I I would known I
got hit sooner she would have been
okay
[Music]
