gaming and it really worked out well you know you didn't you didn't use too much of your resources nowadays your your CPU and GPU can work in tandem so well together there's no point bro when it rains uh it actually can uh do 4K um so I got it to kind of like if I ever wanted to do go down that route I had the ability to I really like the camera I like it a lot a couple things I don't like about it it does really good video um but it can get a little the the Focus can be off because I try to do a manual focus but it's hard you can't really do a manual focus when you're on a stream uh for that so I have to keep it on auto focus but then I have to like set the settings it's funky as [ __ ] there's definitely better cameras out there for like ease of use especially if like you were using it for video or streaming but I really like the camera it's a very nice camera the cool thing that I like about it is it's versatile so it can be used for film and stuff very easily whereas a lot of those other ones like the Sony A600 the ones that a lot of streamers use it's it's not as versatile when it comes that so it can be a little bit more difficult to work with that to me is just not the pain I want to go through so there's negatives to it but it's it's nice yeah yeah it's a nice camera I like it I have a little webcam that I use but um you can up the qualia webcam I'm just terrible at it I'm not I'm not good at it I've seen people do it and it's worked out really well do you guys have a good time over there no he's running something hitting our wall I think that's monkey people quality so I like to stream it around 900p um if you do 1080p your quality will will reduce a lot uh so most people that will be watching your content are gonna get more value out of one you just need to extreme than a 1080p stream you're gonna have a more limited base that's actually going to use the 1080P and it worked working it work to your favor though also the negative 1080p is that bit rate issue um if you're just streaming Say on YouTube then yeah that works great you can you can uh get away with that but if you're saying I'm this is the first time I'm doing this we're doing a stream on Twitch kick and uh YouTube simultaneously and it's interesting it's pretty cool I feel kind of bad because it kind of splits it a little bit though like that's only like real negative but other than that it's it's interesting this is really really cool to do I'm glad that the ability to do this is there but yeah I I prefer to stream it's like 864p or like 900p is the idea ideal like like my shot one you're talking about but I've also wondered if I should just stick with the Logitech that does 1080p 60. uh you'll get better quality from an actual like DSLR camera than you would from the webcam and there's pretty good ones I'm sure you can get like a used or like a like new or even a new of a cheaper Variety in that two to three hundred dollar range and the quality difference that you're gonna get from the the DSLR in the webcam is going to be substantial you're gonna have a much better viewing quality um also you can do a lot of I think you can do this on webcams too but I noticed with mine I have a lot of different filters I can use and they're on demand inside the camera and that's actually really nice to have because then you don't have to worry about creating your own like filters inside your stream and create them that way you can actually just create them on the camera makes it very easy and it's just it just saves a lot of time yeah so to me if you so the problem it's an AP I I'll have to show you like a 1080p stream like on a a monitor um but the problem with the 1080p is that your the quality is going to get reduced so much the only people that are really going to get a bonus from that quality is really like YouTube streams can get really good like you can get a huge bit rate like I've heard like crazy high bit rates you can get problem is on on on Twitch and I don't know how kick works this is my first time ever doing kick but your bit rate will cap out um they do a soft cap at six thousand but you can push it up to 8 000 on Twitch which that number might seem like a lot but it's kilobits a second and it's not it's it's very low so that's why you'll see a stream and it might be grading also you lose transcoding transcoding is a very important piece if you want to be able to um have the ability that anyone can view your stream if someone has a laggy connection if they can't really connect to your stream very well and they have to say stream it in 160p for instance or something very small they can digest it easier on a phone in that 160p if they're their phone starts getting sluggish you would lose transcoding if say you do 1080p and then clock it out at like 10 000 kilobits or like 8 000 kilobits a second just so you get better quality but then the people that are watching you won't get that quality I've been there a couple times where I've like tried to up and go over to that 1080P and it just it just it doesn't like to me I want to keep my videos forever and I won't be able to do that if I if the quality is like so worsened or it only benefits like a certain amount of people you know um so the transcoding is important part because then you can select your the person watching you can then select the different resolution whether they have the true to form resolution or you know a lower one and then um it's also easily you'll have a better image quality for your people now when it starts getting stretched out like let's say you did a full screen on a 1080p monitor since it's not 1080p you'll have artifacting you'll have little little glitches right you'll have like little boxes foreign how long you've this title um but it was nice to knock that out of the backlog and uh well tomorrow I'll either be on with uh ghost of sushima or Castle Crashers they're both on my um well no not tonight because I I need to go to bed early I got a long day tomorrow but um tomorrow I'm either gonna stream Castle Crashers it's a game that's been on my backlog for a while that I haven't gotten to yet or I'm gonna start the Platinum playthrough for Ghost of sushima I probably am going to need to start the Platinum playthrough if I'm gonna uh do Resident Evil 4 afterwards so that I have time to really get through it so it'll be one of those two games um I can't really go wrong with either uh yeah especially since we're gonna get the platinum in it and uh do everything assuming I like it I haven't actually played it before so that was Turok we tried it out did not stick the landing on it there's just a lot of small little issues that eat away at this title I think the weird sway of the camera when you're trying to aim the life system the infinitely responding enemies he's Turok you're right he he is Turok we did get this in a collection with Turok 2 Turok 2 I played the first level and it's foundationally different so we'll probably stream Turlock 2 in the distance sometime maybe as like a middle game in between two large ones we'll see so that'll be the stream today thank you guys ethernet plug or something just trying to do it off a hot spot why would I need an Ethernet Oh I thought you meant like um plugging it into your PC no I didn't plug it in I was just using it wirelessly to create a hotspot oh and it wasn't working no it said connected but no internet that was the reading I kept getting which is really not good because that was my plan for internet when I get my computer over here so come Friday if I get this energy hooked up it still doesn't matter because I'm not going to be able to use my computer you play games online but I thought you were getting internet from a hot from a different hotspot before um we're talking about yesterday how I was playing no yesterday you were at your parents house or something right that's weird because like the NAT type is now type D or NAT type number three as they call it and it's it's a restricted NAT type so like Nintendo doesn't deal with that well at all and they could you know I was able to I can get into realmrl for some reason and go solo but um when we try to play together it kicks me out like you've seen that well I can't connect to anything Mario Kart anything Super Smash Brothers at all let's get a dedicated hotspot maybe maybe you'll have to do that well the idea is you know they pay 60 for the phone and then like a hot spot would be like a hundred dollars just on its own that's kind of like uh like a hundred dollars a month just for gaming because I already have you know Netflix and internet and surfing and everything through my phone just using that unlimited data kind of like I I have 50 gigs of Hotspot data that I should be able to use so don't use it and then spend a hundred dollars plus the like 250 dollars it costs you know just for the to buy the hot spot it's kind of like yeah well you should just go to the phone carrier and tell them it's not working yeah I'll be there in person or did a lot of on the phone and they are like all shoulders man they don't have no idea what's going on yeah or call Geek Squad they're way better they know everything all right um how did how did I get through to them I just called Best Buy and I just say computer help and um then they connect you to Geek Squad person on your computer I don't know how you're going to do that though um that you said I can use your account or something I know but usually they connect to my computer so I don't know how that would work if they don't have like a computer to connect to well I wonder if you can do it with your phone real quick just to see if it works what do you what phone provider do you have see if what works I'm doing a hotspot to your computer from your phone to see if you can access Internet that way it works I turned it on for uh uh my students sometimes because the internet's so shitty at the school uh I have Verizon we get Verizon zero done yeah dude what film provider do you have a TNT yeah I mean I don't know why you're paying for the hot spot if it doesn't work they should be able to fix it do something man there we go write him a letter and email and um called them last night to try to get help you know thinking like who cares like it's nine o'clock but they have customer service 24 7. no I guess a t fixed like business hours or whatever be like hey man like we're closed but uh you can schedule a callback appointment and I scheduled for like seven in the morning and I said all right like we're gonna call this in my text messages we're gonna call in like 15 minutes like be ready so I'm like ready and like they call and it's like all right like welcome to atnt you are like 16th in line to be like hooked to like a representative why do you have me schedule an appointment if you're gonna just put me in the regular or like call queue how stupid oh so did you get through to them no I hung up you know wait um wait for them to pick up after I schedule a call oh and then furthermore speaking about shitty customer service I ordered um a drill with some batteries and like a little tool case it's supposed to come with and ordered it 10 days ago man it got delayed you know two two times because of whatever shipping delays or whatever um he finally gets here they leave it out in the rain so I see it at the end of the driveway I pick it up pick it in and I open it up dude it's just the drill no bag no batteries and it says like right on the advertisement comes with like the bag and two extra batteries dude I'm like oh my gosh these are some people they put it in a box that you cannot you can't even fit anything else in there like you wouldn't be able to fit in the bag or other batteries hmm that sucks people just don't care anymore man yeah you figure out this other guy this [ __ ] he calls me on the offer up and he goes like
