23rd 2023 a tragic incident unfolded W
the woman driving without a valid
license struck a 10-year-old boy in a
residential area and fled the scene the
child suffered severe injuries including
an open leg fracture as authorities
continue to investigate the hit and run

yes she lives right across from my house
she didn't stop no didn't she all she
does I know her she HTS right when she's
right next to the kid she be
but she doesn't stop at all all she does
just keep going and I heard him
screaming like I heard a child screaming
from inside the house I heard it already
happening and my kids was outside so I
ran out the door so when I came outside
I seen him like on the floor like
screaming right here okay every where
the first black mark is still driving on
the kids yeah she's still going with the
car so I'm screaming like hey like this
to her she jumps out the car and then
she pick him up and she's like why would
you jump in the front of a car and I ran
up to him and I just called 911 like
instantly I could tell she was going to
leave it looks like she about to leave
cuz she was like I know his mom I'm
going to go to his mom but you would
have left the van there she got back in
the van so he was like what's the tag
number whatever the tag number is I
can't remember anymore I Tred to
describe her and then she made a turn in
there and she turned back and she just
left I didn't see when she hear him I
see he was already on the floor and she
kept driving she was driving this way so
this this side frre no she just stopped
her car and then she when she tried to
pull him the first time she couldn't
pull him she got in she backed up a
little bit well I'm driving and then she
got back in the car she went straight
but she turned right here you see where
these apartments are right here you can
turn right there there you can park
there she turned made a right right
there she's I see when she backed up
from my ring she backed up and she
turned back and zoomed this way she have
blonde hair she had a I think a green or
black jacket and then her husband ran up
here and said she went to the store yeah
I was like where you going you got away
I called the police she was like no oh
I'm going to his mom I know his mom
that's what she said she was getting the
car for after receiving a 911 call
police quickly arrived at the scene
where Witnesses identified the suspect's
vehicle as a green van shockingly the
woman reportedly asked the injured boy
why would you jump in front of a car
before getting back into her van
Witnesses provided key details including
the driver's description and the
vehicle's tag number assisting the
investigation Hello I'm I got to go get
this kid's mom I have to go get this
kid's mom he just ran right out in front

asked you to get out of during her
arrest the woman became visibly agitated
claiming she was only trying to help by
locating the child's mother yet did not
inquire about the child's condition
officers placed her in handcuffs
informed her of her rights and
emphasized the severity of fleeing the
scene of an accident involving Serious
injury shortly after her husband arrived
and spoke with police further
contributing to the ongoing
investigation he said I need my mom I
know where his mom lives because he
plays with my
son this is my wife who hit the kid in
the neighborhood okay so do me a favor
just stay over there for me okay for
right now I don't know what the hell's
going on she said she was leaving to go
to the store and then my neighbor come
banging on dor and said she hit some kid
she has my phone I have no phone or
nothing supposed to be driving the van
it's my boss's work van take a
breath yeah I ran all the way over here
I don't know why she didn't stop I don't
know what yeah so I me there's nothing
but trouble for me man take a breath let
me know when you're ready oh my God he
lives in the neighborhood no absolutely
course not she's saying that he
obviously lives right there by our house
so um I asked her to get out of the van
she was reluctant to she started digging
around her Wallace so I said to take her
out and she got a little frog we put her
in handcuffs and she's back there she's
detained right now now so we're doing
the investigation as far as yes she has
my phone took my pH my ID's in it yeah I
saw them out there you know before the
ambulance come and picked them up but so
I don't know what's going to happen with
the van you know what they're going to
do so she's not even supposed to be
driving work van the traffic units doing
the yeah my neighbor watching is your
phone in there yeah my phone with my IDs
in the okay she took my phone all right
um her husband remained calm throughout
the interaction assisting police with
valuable information for the investig
ation he displayed no extreme or
inappropriate behavior and refrained
from making excuses for his wife's
actions contributing to a smoother
process for law enforcement well I'm
[ __ ] scared that little kid plays
with my son I have no idea if his mom's
there or not we are making contact at
the
moment oh my
God can't even wa to sweat D this is
such [ __ ] I'm such a good person all
I do is sit at home and take care my kid
that's it see he's mad for no freaking
reason the Mother wasn't dumbass it was
right out in front of my house what the
[ __ ] do you mean where was I going to go
so when am I going to jail because I
went to go get his mom yeah I know the
kid ran right out in front of my car at
the end of the day you were involved in
accident with a serious injury front my
car with a serious injury I just got to
read something to you okay yeah I'm
required to warn you before you make any
statement you have the following
constitutional rights I need my
medication can you just we cannot keep
yeah I need an ambulance now take a deep
breath I can't take a deep
breath during the arrest the woman began
to show increasing signs of distress
eventually claiming that she was
experiencing an anxiety attack she
requested medical attention as her
agitation escalated officers mindful of
her condition responded appropriately
ensuring she received the necessary care
while continuing to manage the situation
as it unfolded he's good he's tough as
hell he just sitting here wasn't even
crying all right Mom I'm just going to
uh get a statement from you of where you
were what happened and name and date of
birth truth whole truth nothing but the

happened till now I was inside my house

just lost I seen I seen my baby skinn

place both of them are just the right

okay and he was like Mommy come here
what time did he come outside to start
playing basketball we got back cuz we
actually went to a couple toy drives so
you're saying probably 5:15 and she came
and started playing basketball or you
think it was later than that was anybody
saying anything while you were down
there with that you could remember um
honestly no no I was just trying to get

became clear that the woman's claims
were entirely false this not only

she owed someone money they come and

is
doing I don't know what possess her to
hit someone and then leave the [ __ ]
neighborhood to like the kid lives over
here my ass after the arrest the woman
violated multiple traffic laws including
fleeing the scene of an accident causing
Serious injury hit and run the severity
of the child's injuries will likely
influence sentencing as the law heavily
penalizes accidents involving severe
harm the woman violated several Florida
laws first under Florida statue chapter
316.027 fleeing the scene of an accident
with serious bodily injury is a second
degree felony punishable by up to 15
years in prison probation and fines of
up to
$10,000 she was also charged with a
moving violation under Florida statute
chapter
316.1515 a non-criminal traffic
