Reports of a stolen rental vehicle led
to a high-speed chase with a woman
putting local lives in imminent danger.
She's going to try and run. Just ran
line out. Coleman.
Okay. Terminate the pursuit. I still
hear lights and sirens. Turn. Turn
around.
 The suspect has been reported
going up to speeds of 90 mph through red
lights. This prompts officers to
temporarily terminate the chase due to
the life-threatening danger the
surrounding public's lives are being put
in.
 Terminated at Mno Beach. Clear.
 It
was a white female driver. She had
fairly long brown hair.
She running. I mean, when we we
obviously, like I said, we terminated
when she was doing 90 down middle beach
running red lights. Yeah. Last seen
southbound in Middle Beach and Clar
headed towards Front Beach, but we
terminated, turned around.
 No, I speeds
are 90 and she's running red lights. We
ain't chasing that.
 She took off. So, I
thought I was trying to catch up and and
next thing I know, I pass her at the
traffic on Middle Beach at Richard
Jackson. And I was like, "Motherucker,
she's behind me." Soon as traffic
started going, she turned off into Sonic
and then and then it was on from there.
She She knew exactly what the hell was
going on. So, but
 she long hair or short
hair?
 Long hair.
 I just saw a silver
pass on Frank Brown.
 It's It's a rental.
It's a It's a rental vehicle that was
stolen. So, it looks fairly new and
fairly clean. Um,
 any windows up front?
Are they clear?
 I don't They're clear
enough that I could see her.
 Okay, that
might be her. I'm turning around now.
I'm coming up to light be the red light
right now. It's a possibility she would
have got that far the way she was
driving. Would
she be dumb enough to do
it going south on 79 right now?
 Well,
I'm going to keep an eye out for her.
Okay.
 Thanks.
 Just minutes later,
officers are able to apprehend the
suspect with the help of a local
civilian who blocked her in with his own
vehicle.
Yeah, I got you.
 Have you previously
requested any law enforcement officer to
allow you to speak to attorney? With
these rights in mind, do you wish to
talk to us now?
 Yes.
 All righty.
Get out here.
I mean, Robert was he was just I
Well, you're driving. You could have
pulled over. So,
 I mean, you middle
beach in Northwood.
 Yeah, this is a
common sense thing to do.
 You got
anything on you?
This isn't fair. I dropped him off two
roads. Can y'all go get him, too?
 Well,
you should have stopped the car when the
lights
I pulled over whenever I stopped
and got him out of the car. Well,
 I'll
be 107.
 Got to pick better friends.
 The
suspect is claiming she was with another
male in the car and he was telling her
not to stop driving during the chase.
She's also claiming that she dropped him
off somewhere during the chase. At this
point, it's still up in the air whether
she's telling the truth or not.
 Anything
on you and that gets into the jail will
be considered contraband. It's a felony.
I don't have it.
I got it.
She had that in her four time.
Oh, Shane. I don't know who Shane is.
Y'all the one chasing her?
 Yeah.
 And she
wiped me out and I blocked her kill.
Mhm.
 And then
I'm stopped right here.
 Well, thank you.
I appreciate it.
She stopped at Sonic. So, I think that's
where she dropped. She was right, right?
When you pulled in at Sonic, is that
when Shane jumped out?
So, he's somewhere around here. a
killer.
 This isn't right that I'm
getting all of this whenever he the one
that told me to keep going.
 I mean, I'd
rather listen to us than some Shane
mister. Would he be at Yuvon? That that
house over there?
He I don't know where he is now. I know
he was dropped off whenever I
charged her duty.
 Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
100%.
So, going to take her then?
 Yeah,
we'll take her.
 So, I got a warrant,
too.
Oh, you have a warrant on her?
Yeah.
 Okay. Yeah. Yeah, we're
 I'll I'll
serve the warrant.
 Mhm.
 You guys got her
on everything else?
 Yeah, for sure.
Let's see who the oldest guy is.
 Almost
got a She almost tugged me. 14 m by
chain jumped out of the vehicle and is
on foot somewhere in this neighborhood.
532. Do you have a description?
 Stand
by.
What color clothes is he wearing?
 Gray
t-shirt, I think, and some blue jeans.
53. He's possibly wearing gray shirt and
blue jeans. White male pretty shirt and
blue jeans 1026.
Hey sir, good old ass up in here on
break about hitting the damn building.
There's a little baggie over there
beside that car. I don't know what's in
it. I ran out here and she's over there
up against the wood fence and I asked
her what she was doing. She come back
fell up against my truck and then jumped
in the truck and about run us over
leaving out of here.
 Mind if I just get
some information from you?
 Yeah, that's
fine. About hit a car coming out here.
Yeah, she was she was running from us.
What's her title here?
 I'm just an
employee. Mother-in-law owns this
business.
 Okay. Thank you.
 Good. All
right. Thank you, sir.
 She's got a local
warrant. So, County's going to serve her
with that and then we'll get her for
fling and eluding.
 Okay. You don't need
any more.
Um, let me just get your name
and phone number really quick just just
in case.
What's your first name?
 Yeah. cuz that's
where she about hit me and I chased her
over here.
 Okay.
 And the white truck.
Yeah. And I blocked her. I ran her
chased her. She jumped out and I blocked
her in right here and then county came
up and I pointed right here.
 Yeah. She
kept saying, "I'll pay you. I'll pay
you. Don't call the cops. Don't call the
cops." I was like,
 "Yeah,
 it put kids in
jeopardy." When I saw it and I was like,
"Okay."
and she pulled in like in the Kilgore's
parking lot about hit the building and
then that's where I stopped her and then
she was backing out and she about hit me
again and I tried to block her in and
the owners of Kilboard said hey don't do
that I said she's running from the
police she about hit me she's running
she wanted oh sorry I had her blocked in
kill
what um did you see the mail at all
I didn't All I saw was her
 and she had
the wind down
 all I saw was her I I
thought at first when I saw her, I
thought it was like a young 16-year-old
girl, you know? I mean, cuz she's little
the way she was sitting in the truck.
Yeah. So, when she pulled in here, I
seen her jump out, jump into the fence,
come over. Well, I ran across was trying
to call and I blocked her. I ran. She
said, "Don't call the call sign. I'll
pay you." And I was like, "No, no, no,
no, no. You put too many kids lives in
jeopardy just a minute ago."
 I
appreciate that.
 So, I blocked her and
she went running into there. So, I
blocked her in and uh
 then she then we
got here.
No, then was right there. I
flag them now. I said right here. Right
here.
 All right.
 Right here. So, they
came up and then he just immediately
already knew.
 Holdings or rental car.
Yeah, it's a rental car.
Did you see the mail in the car at all?
The guy said he didn't either, but she
swears he jumped out.
 Almost.
Nice. Got a firearm in here.
 Oh, there
we go. Got the map. More dope.
 More
dope. A lot of cell phones.
That's heavy.
I don't want to know what
this is for.
What kind of activities she's involved
in?
So, ma'am, you're saying this isn't your
gun?
I swear to God, it's not.
 What was
it doing in your bag?
 I don't know.
I don't do I've passed every one of my
drug tests. I don't do that. Dispatch
now informs this officer that the female
who was driving is a
 convicted
felon. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Sweet.
Possession of Okay. Yeah. We're going to
have like a plethora of charges on her.
Uh reckless fleeting looting. Uh no no
valid uh possession of a firearm during
the commission of a felony. Uh
possession of a felon or possession of a
firearm by a convicted felon. And uh a
bunch of drug charges too. So, I mean,
it's it's Yeah,
that that was that that was the main
thing.
I didn't double lock them yet.
You can just make sure.
 All right.
Thanks, Mike.
 Hold on a second.
This is the gentleman that's claiming
that was with her, but we don't know our
witnesses and all that.
 So, there's only
one person in the car.
 Yeah, I only saw
one person. So, um she's a convicted
felon. We're looking at at least uh
start from the top. Uh
 Brian's got the
dope. Brian can do the dope charges. You
want felude and you want no valid?
 I'll
take the gun charge. I'll take
 take all
that.
 Let Brian do the dope.

the driver's seat, too,
 cuz I saw her
hair like
 going nuts.

putting on makeup when I passed her.

the car still. It's going to go to the
