home no on December 6 2020 till around 3:40 to p.m. officer Jeffrey Williams with the bcip Troy Hills Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Troy Road and mabrook Road the accident involved a 2020 to BMW 740 a 2012 Chevy Equinox and a 2015 school bus the crash report states that the school bus was driving South on Baldwin Road and stopped at an intersection to turn left on DET trit Road around this time the BMW driver Veer to the left struck the school bus before striking the guard rail and bounced off the guard rail and struck the Chevy Equinox headon the school bus had 10 children on board but none of them were injured where did you use the bathroom I haven't used yet okay put I I'm just going to put this on the phone with blue you're a lawyer okay the front of the Equinox The Equinox isn't that that busted up where was The Equinox kind of right where it's sitting those those two are right those two are left right where they are okay I had the Equinox back up so I can see the damage on the Equinox there's not really damage on the there's damage but it's not like so the Equinox was behind the school bus yes school bus is attempting to go till pretty much the school the school bus was right here we had it pulled down okay school bus was making this left going this way um and you said rear right corter rear rear right wheel yep right behind the rear right wheel okay rear rear passenger side wheel the equipment B by behind the rear wheel somewhere in there somewhere in there you'll see the damage there um so he's pretty much through the turn already I think he was like like just sitting there waiting and and like had his like he was his body was like this when I got here so it looks like she came like this came across into the guard rail and then into he wasn't even moving I don't think so like I said I don't have the full story yet um but then she got out and went this way she went to Maz or caran to go pee never it was actually maneuvering the turn or not um lady in the back of my car smells like alcohol did you do test not yet I'm going to I'm going to talk to her I'm going to tell her that I I can smell it on her right yeah her story is is weird she got out she ran to K one to go to the bathroom never made it inside car1 called her lawyer her divorce attorney I just walked down there to look for bottles to the accident scene he instructed her to sit in his patrol car as the officers investigated the accident as he was speaking her he detected the odor of alcohol and observed other indicators of impairment priston admitted to consuming vodka before driving after officer Williams interview the driver of the school bus as well as the driver of the Chevy Equinox he informed the other officers that this was probably going to be a DWI case know the company I know the name we're just we're trying to sort everything out here get everything cleared up Co trucks the whole n yards are you married over the county different places no no that's why I'm not great since it was raining officer Williams planned to transport Kristen back to the parcion Troy Hills Police Department and performed field sobriety exercises in the sally port however Sergeant car Carlos Silva instructed him to perform the exercises on scene as officer Williams was speaking with the other officers Captain John weiners was watching over Kristen and she told him that she was currently going through a divorce officer Williams returned to his patrol car transported Christen to a safe place to perform the field sobriety exercises as Captain wier's assisted original color is there an officer he retired are we taking both of them I believe so I'm not I'm just here kind of helping okay so yeah no problem thank you yeah I used to work on the same Squad as him we'd show up we did we'd show up on calls people look at our name plates think we were kidding we also had a captain peckerman I know I have at least had fun onset of nice stagis prior to 45° the second exercise was the walk- and turn test and Kristen did not touch heel tuto on each step and failed to keep her hands and her sides the final exercise was the oneel leg stand test and Kristen failed to raise her foot in the proper fashion while putting her foot down multiple times this way can you shut my lights off cap thank you all right do you have any Kristen was read standard statement for motor vehicle operators and she agreed to submit breath samples Officer Van Orin administered the machine and Kristen's Alco test results indicated a back of released pending a court appearance at the parity Municipal Court on December 15th 2022 she was issued the following summonses op operating Under the Influence 39 for5 reckless driving 39 for 96 and traffic on marked Lanes 39 for8 forb out of headquarters ending 6088 9.7 Sally entrance please 10 for court records indicate that on June 1st 2023 Kristen pleaded guilty to operating Under the Influence and she had to pay a total of $740 in fines spend 12 hours at an intoxicated driver resource center and use an ignition interlock device for 3 months the other to citations were were
