Come to get a restraining order and I
want to sue everybody in the restaurant.
Come on. Turn it off.
Give my [ __ ] What the Are you okay? You
want me to be cal? On August 12th, 2023,
police were called to a Buffalo Wild
Wings after a 19-year-old woman caused a
disturbance. Dining with a friend, she
became agitated when asked to leave,
confronting staff and patrons and
claiming mistreatment. I have a lady
that's a little I don't know what's her
deal in there, but she won't. She's on
my counter. She won't get off. I just
told her you guys were coming. What's
her problem? I don't know. They both
were ding. I mean, we had we serve them
one drink. I don't know if she's that
intoxicated. I mean, my sugar want to
have a problem. Yeah. I just want to
have a problem.
And I told her, "Get off my counter."
And she's like, "You can't do nothing.
You're not going to touch me." I said,
"I'm not touching you." I said, "Please
won't be a second. We'll be in a
second." I was going I was and and me
and my friend already got my friend got
six we already got my friend got six
barbecue sauce and and I got French
fries and we already paid for our stuff
and she just kept she's inside
still. It just keeps making it seem like
she's with us. But you said you didn't
want you there. No, no, no, no. The I
talked to the manager. The manager the
manager wants me inside. Exactly. Not
going to fool with
Staff reported that the woman grew
increasingly disruptive after being
asked to vacate the premises. Though the
cause of the initial dispute is unclear,
she appeared angered by what she saw.
Can I
have I'll show you my ID and all that. I
No, I'm not. This is where my itching
is. Like I'm going to put my ID and
everything. But I've been coming here. I
come here with my mentor and say he did
this every time I come and my mother got
my ID and said I don't even have a
my that's what you're not going to do. I
already try to be peaceful. I've been
here every time I eat here in my ID in
my [ __ ] cuz you know I understand I look
at my issue is no racist. That's my
issue and I'm not going to leave till my
problem solve. You're not going to ban
me. Don't choose nothing. You're not
doing that to me. I come here already.
It's an hour ago. My dad jump off the
table without even paying for this [ __ ]
I'm glad I'm not that damn bad. You feel
me? I'll pay for
my everything. I show my ID, all that
[ __ ] I don't give
a respect you give to me that you give
to everybody else. You're not in here,
girl. The order didn't perform. They're
asking my sister for them. I beat them.
Whatever. I didn't have no shoes. After
that, I threw my stuff. Not going to
lie, I began to be mad cuz he already
seen me heck of time. Not once. That's
why she was third or four times. And if
I remember being the When officers
arrived, the woman continued to argue,
expressing a volatile mix of emotions.
She claimed she had been unfairly
targeted and racially profiled, adding
that she often visited the restaurant
with a mentor. You're not listening to
me. I already tried to.
It's racist, bro. And stupid. You didn't
want my ID. Now you're not getting it
now, bro. I have common sense. Why do
you want to be trespassed? Why? Why
didn't you get trespassed? And you heard
all them threats getting made to me. I'm
going to record this cuz you heard all
them threats getting made to me. You
didn't want to do nothing. Now it's a
when I open the door. You see this? But
all them threats was getting made to me
inside. This was never open open.
I have a question though. I'm not Don't
touch me. Don't touch me. You don't have
no reason to detain me or anything.
I know the law. Don't play with me like
that, bro. And you know that, bro.
Don't. It's that serious to me, bro. I
can show you that [ __ ] right now. Do you
want to see it? And if I prove that
right to you, you can't look at me like
I'm So that's me. I have a question.
No. No. Not going to keep fingers
complacent opportunities to leave. But
they want to trespass. You can trespass,
but you can't trespass until I'm off the
property. And I know that, too. So, stop
playing with my laws. You know, the good
news is I'm a lawyer, too. So, okay,
then we're both people. What do you mad
about? What do you mad about? Let's go.
You can't play with my laws. You can't
tell me to leave. The responding
officers made several attempts to
diffuse the situation, urging the woman
to leave peacefully. They informed her
that she was trespassing and would face
legal consequences if she did not
comply. However, the woman remained
adamant, arguing that she had every
right to stay.
Thank you. Like I said, what I had, so
therefore, you must read
my
accate. I don't care if I want to get
out. She not going to keep playing with
me like it's popping in here till I'm
older, bro. That's how I know. You get
math, you get
m I got my associates in a year, bro.
Administrative help. I don't pay that

delivering what you know. Are you just
me? I call again. We're trying to give
you people though. Our customers, they
live in different places. I come here. I
go here with my family. You guys are not
understanding to deal with this [ __ ]
Why? But I'm not disrespecting nobody.
I'm not. Why? I do that stuff. My ID is
that only one screw up. like you don't
like my guns. You don't like give me the
real walk out. Then you can't do that
for me. Then I'm stopping. What do you

She continued to voice her frustration,
accusing the staff of being racist and
treating her unfairly. Her outbursts
included incoherent claims about law
school and knowledge of legal
procedures, suggesting that she believed
she was legally justified in defeating
me. I can put my seat belt on and I can
go home. No, you can't drive. I'll give
you a ride home. I'll call. No, we're
not doing that. You're not driving.
Okay. So, just give me my percentage.
Give me an actual [ __ ] and I have reason
suspicion that you're above the legal
limit for DUI right now. You see this
[ __ ] How? I'm not doing that. He can
give me the actual test like a human.
I'm just in my car. It don't matter. I'm
not in. You're still in their property.
You're trespassed. No, that's not their
property. Be like, this is the common
[ __ ] Just public ground. That right
there. Cuz I deal with this [ __ ] last
time with them, too. So, no, you can't
tell me I'm on their call and have them
come pick you up. Who's going to pick
you up? Then, you're not going to call
nobody. Who's going to pick you up? No,
I'm not going nowhere. No, I'm not. But
they smacked my phone off my hand. Am I
getting repair, bro? If you guys want me
to not please smack my phone out of my
hand so it's getting repaired right now
pull out the cameras. My whole shirt
just cracked right now up this before I
came here on my dead life. My [ __ ] was
not cracked before I came here. Y trying
to play dumb black [ __ ] bro.
Just turn the car off. Turn it off.
Get my [ __ ] What the are you okay? you
want me to not walk in this building,
but you smacked the [ __ ] out of her.
After exhausting all attempts at
deescalation, the officers had no choice
but to place the woman under arrest for
trespassing. Even during her arrest, she
continued to argue and resist, stating
that she was being unfairly treated and
that her legal rights were being
violated. Well, you guys are going Can
you just sit in the back seat, please?
Well, I'm going to My mom actually think
something to you right now. No, I've
already been listening to you. Why
coming with my family, bro? This own my
family. Like, you're not listening to
me, bro. And you know this me. You him.
He said he don't want me to go home and
deal with this. When I went home, he
said he don't want me to leave. You guys
keep talking about you're free to go. I
don't want to drive off and I got to
deal with that. Drive. So, if the car is
then it's not like driving, but we
offered to take you home. We just said
you can't be here cuz you trespassed. So
that's why you're being detained right
now. You're being detained because
you're refusing to leave after you have
to leave the point. You had the car on
trying to drive away. No, I was trying
to roll down the window so I can hear
you guys. Yes. After. But did I not Bro,
listen. Don't do that. I did try to roll
the windows down. So I got I did roll it
down to try to listen to you, right? And
then when he was like, "You're just
trespassing." I'm like, "You guys are
not even listening to me." I bro, bro,
I'm just I'm about just take this [ __ ]
off.
You guys could uh put her go to my car.
Can you please talk? You're under arrest
for trespass.
After being escorted to the police
vehicle, the woman began to cry,
asserting her innocence and claiming she
had cooperated throughout the entire
process. She mentioned her family,
seemingly in an attempt to gain sympathy
from the officers. However, authorities
remained focused on their duties.
General me. I'm not going to run. Where
am I going to go? Just Just pay
attention to me for the race to remain
silent. Anything you say can abuse
against law at this time.
Bro, please don't play with me like
that. What the I will kill myself and
choke myself right now and I would die.
Bro, you're not going to pick me off
here though. Bro, you guys,
bro, why are you guys serious? This is
the kind of behavior that got you
arrested. This is the kind of I was in
my car. Are you okay? What? Are you
crazy? And I just broke an ankle and I
know I did. That's so fat. I'm gonna
break that. Please. Sorry.
Yeah, man. Just dead. Yeah, I can get
it. I'm dead. The woman's actions during
this incident resulted in two
significant legal charges. Trespassing
and assault on a peace
officer. Under chapter 30, section 30.05
05 of the state penal code. Trespassing
occurs when an individual remains on
another's property without consent after
being asked to leave. In this case,
Buffalo Wild Wings as a private business
had the legal right to request the
woman's departure. Her refusal to comply
with both the restaurant staff and the
police's instructions constituted a
direct violation of this law. Her
defiance, coupled with physical
resistance during the arrest, worsened
her legal standing.
Additionally, the woman was charged with
assault on a peace officer, a serious
felony offense under chapter 22, section
22.01 B1 of the Penal Code. This charge,
punishable by significant prison time
fines, and a permanent criminal record,
was a direct result of her physical
resistance despite multiple warnings
from law enforcement. This escalation
significantly compounded the charges
against her. This case underscores the
significance of mutual respect and
cooperation with law enforcement and
preserving public order. Following the
law helps create a more just and
peaceful society. What are your thoughts

The reckless actions and disrespect for
the law among teenagers have become a
concerning issue. Recently, young girls
insulting police officers and getting
arrested have caught public attention.
This incident has stirred the community
and raised many questions about the
responsibilities of families in society
in educating the younger

generation. The incident occurred on
October 31st, 2023. While on patrol,
Lieutenant Kenny May of the Hot Springs
Police Department saw a group of women
walking at the intersection of Glade
Street and Park Avenue. He saw one of
the girls deliberately throw a sodakin
onto the street and he got out of his
car to talk to her. When Lieutenant
Kenny May activated his lights and
pulled over his patrol car, the girl was
seen running onto the street to retrieve
the can. The video also shows the girls
quickly walking in the opposite
direction from May before he asked them
to come back and talk to him.
Listen to the next time I see you throw
trash, you going to go to jail. Hey,
I don't give a [ __ ] if you're a minor.
Hey, hey, hey, tell her to come down to
the police department and see me. My
name's Lieutenant May. My name's
Lieutenant May.
The officer warned the girl that if she
threw trash onto the street again, she
would go to jail. At this point, the
girls attitudes appeared uncooperative.
They continued walking without stopping
to talk to officer May. As the girl
walked away, she grabbed the can and
threw it at the officer.
Do not touch me. I'm calling my mother.
[Music]
I'm not touching you. Hey, call your
mama so I can find out where you live.
Call your mom. Call your mama so I can
find Hey, I don't
care. and then threw it at. Hey, and
then so that's that's a different story.
Call your mom. Call your mom.
Call your mom. Okay. Call your mom.
I'm super extra. Hey, you can call your
The situation seemed to escalate when
the girl threatened to call her mother.
The officer followed her and asked to
speak with her mother. The police later
reported that the teenagers refused to
contact their mother and allegedly
became increasingly aggressive, cursing
and using vulgar language toward the
officer. This heightened the situation
and required additional support from
other units. Nobody on the way because I
No, I need to talk to him. I want to
talk to him for throwing this at at a
cop. Okay. So, throwing it at a cop.
It's all on It's all y'all are making
y'all are making Hey, don't get out of
my face. Get out my face.
[Music]
The officer requested to speak with them
because of the act of throwing the can
at him. The body cam footage shows the
girls appearing dissatisfied,
continuously interrupting the officer
and showing no intention of listening to
him.
[Music]
Get back. Get back.
Get back.
[Music]
Get back.
Get back.
Lieutenant May asked the girls to step
back when one of them wearing a black
jacket and white shirt made physical
contact with him, prompting him to push
her away. Lieutenant May repeatedly
warned them not to invade his personal
space and to step back. Then one girl
reached out and grabbed him while
another girl threw something at him. Two
of the girls were aggressive and tried
to approach the officer, forcing May to
push them back and create a safe
distance from them.
[Music]
[Music]
You better put your hand.
[Music]
[Music]
The officer tried to remain calm but
faced continuous resistance from the
three remaining girls, forcing him to
increase his self-defense measures to
ensure ure his safety. Chaotic scene
ensued and at this point other officers
arrived at the scene and assisted
officer May in handcuffing the girls.
[Music]
Yeah.
[Music]
It was a good place.
[Music]
The girls continued to scream, use
profanity toward the police, and remain
uncooperative, prompting the police to
decide to take them back to the station
to resolve the incident.
Okay, I will. No, you punched me in the
face. You punched me first. No, I
didn't. I punched you back. It's all on
camera. Can y'all call my mama, please?
You can plead. You have to call your
mom.
Okay. Too late to be nice.
While transporting one of the girls back
to the station, Lieutenant May stated
that he had tried to persuade her to
call her mother, but now it was too
late. Hey, where's your Let's Let's get
her in a different unit. Have all
12 life in an emergency for a asthma
attack on a juvenile.
Yeah. Hey, we're going to have life come
check you out. Okay. One of the girls
complained that she was having an asthma
attack. So, medical staff was called and
she was given an inhaler before being
moved. They all kept So, I was driving
by. They just chunk a Red Bull can.
Thought she was going to stop. I pick it
up. When they pick it up, start running.
I'm like, "Don't run away from me." So,
they start off running. I'm just going
to fall into their house. One of them
started to get in the way of me. So, I
push her out of the way. And then all
three of them were actively like I mean,
I'm backing up like they're not all
girls. You're not want to just box. I'm
backing up like this. And finally when I
heard sirens, they kept coming. I said,
"Get back." I pushed them one time. They
didn't get back. And then I start then
and then everybody else jumped out and
took the other two.
In a subsequent development, the body
cam footage then shows the officer
recounting the entire incident to his
colleague. After that, all the girls
were taken to the Hot Springs Police
Department and have been charged with
secondderee
battery. Seconddegree battery.
Definition secondderee battery is
typically defined as the intentional act
of causing serious injury to another
person but not resulting in death. This
may include the use of weapons or other
means to inflict harm.
Penalties. Imprisonment. The prison term
usually ranges from 2 to 10 years
depending on the state and the
circumstances of the crime. Fines can be
up to several thousand dollar.
Rehabilitation and supervision. In
addition to imprisonment, the offender
may be required to participate in
rehabilitation programs and be under
supervision after
release. In our Kansas, secondderee
battery is classified as a class D
felony with a maximum penalty of 6 years
in prison and a fine of up to
$10,000. In a statement, the Hot Springs
Police Department stated the following.
We never wish for officer contacts with
citizens to lead to use of force and
particularly when the contact is
involving minors. However, every person
has a right to defend themselves when
they are physically threatened or
assaulted. In the case of law
enforcement, they also have the right
and authority to affect an arrest on
persons who verbally threaten,
physically threaten, or physically
assault them or another person.

reflect on our responsibilities in
educating and guiding the younger
generation. Thank you for watching.

Is he bringing you a flat tight? Is he
okay?
What? No, you get on the ground. Stop.
This is Hyendang, a suspect in a serious
criminal case in Flushing,
Queens. The incident occurred in New
Mexico on October 15th, 2021. You're
still here.
Yeah, you still you're still here. What
happened? He don't come, man. Yeah, 1
hour. 1 hour. It's just 30 minutes.
Okay. You want me to see if I can help
you? No, my friend come. Okay. Is he
coming from Albuquerque?
Is he bringing you a flat tire?
You can take me go here.
You can see me go here. Thank you. Oh,
you want me to take you there? You take
me. Oh, yeah. He come here.
I hit the taco. Oh, okay. You take me?
Uh, I don't know yet. Let me see. Uh,
maybe I I have a tire. I can help you
with it. You can help me. Yeah, let's
see. Okay. A state officer on patrol
encountered a woman and stopped to
assist her. The woman, later identified
as Hyen Deng, explained that her car had
a flat tire and she was waiting for a
friend to come and help. The female
officer, who did not yet know Deng's
identity, offered to replace the spare
tire and accompanied the suspect to her
car to check.
I see. Oh, you did a good
job. What happened? Stand. Stand over
here out of the street. Okay. Yeah. I
don't know. Yeah. 5 5 580 SA. Let me see
if I can take you there to Man. You take
me out.
I have a 28 out of
Pennsylvania. Yeah. And I'll be able to
take you another one. Yeah.
Lincoln Mary William
2597. I'll be out with 40.
Simultaneously, the New Mexico State
Police were asked by the New York Police
Department to help locate a suspect
involved in a serious crime outside of
New York. The nipped suspected Dunn was
in New Mexico driving a Honda Cor,
Pennsylvania plates. At this point, the
female officer assisting the stranded
driver received a notification from the
police department. She identified the
female driver of the Honda Cor she was
helping as Hyen Deng.
It's only that side. Yes. Let's see on
this side. This side. Okay.
Oh, just
you don't have one inside there.
Just Oh my god. And I think
Yeah. How fast were you going? Slow.
Slow. Just 60. 60. Let me see. Let's go
over here and then let me go see if I
could get a a tire and they could come
fix it for you and you could just go.
Let's go over
here. Where are you coming from? Let's
walk this way. Where are you coming
from? I'm going to go see if I could get
a uh a tire for you. No, I take my back.
No, you don't need your
back. What? Uh where are you coming
from? You're coming from Pennsylvania.
It's far away. How far? How many hours?
10. 10 hours? You've been driving 10
hours? Shh. You're not tired? I'm not
tired. Oh, man. Let's go over here and
let Let me go see. Call someone. See if
they got a tire for you and they can
come fix it. Come on. You fix me? Yeah.
But you got to go. I got to go see if
they got a tire. Pencil. 10 hours. No,
maybe 8 hours. Okay.
The body cam footage shows the female
officer trying to prolong the
conversation with Deng, saying she would
call for help while attempting to gather
more information.
There's going to be a reference to a
homicide
suspect. Right now,
how long have you been here? I call
again. How long have you been staying
here for an hour?
Yes. Hey. 20 minutes. 20. You've been
here for 20 minutes. 15 minutes. No.
You've been here for about a good hour.
No. No. Right here. You've been here for
a good hour. I've been here just 20
minutes. Yeah. Yeah. About? Yeah. Let me
see if I could get a tire and they'll
come fix it for you and then you can
head on your way. He can fix fix. Yeah.
But I got to see if I could get a tire
for you.
Cannot fix it. You will have Yeah, cuz
you don't have a spare. Yeah. All right.
I don't have a spare. He He have the
spare. Uh, yeah. I'm calling someone to
see if they have a spare for you. Yeah.
All right. Let me see. I got to keep
calling numbers.
Okay. The first time I came, it was like
an hour ago. You come here for an hour?
Yeah. And then I wanted to check on you
again cuz I didn't
know. Let me call this person right
here.
The female officer told Deng she would
call additional numbers to bring the
spare tire. It can be inferred that the
officer was trying to contact her
colleagues for
assistance. In fact, the actions of the
police officer were appropriate. When
confronting and having to talk to a
murderer, the officer needs to stay
calm, maintain a steady voice, and
control the situation. They should
establish a report, use negotiation
skills to persuade the individual to
disarm and comply with the demands.
Meanwhile, keeping a safe distance, and
waiting for backup from colleagues is
essential. No. Uh, I'm out here with a
stranded motorist with that 28 I gave
you.
Yes.
No, no, no. I'm at the
191
I40. I40 westbound at the
191. All right. They're going to look to
see. They're checking if you have they
have any spare tires for you for they
could come fix
it. Yeah. Yeah. They're checking right
now. What was your name?
What's your name?
Juan. Juan. Juan. Juan. W A N G. Oh. W A
N G. I'm Selena.
Nice to meet you.
They're checking right now to see if
they got any tires. How long? They're
right here in this next town right here.
Come here. They're coming here if they
have
one. They come here 1 hour. No, not 1
hour. Less than 1 hour. So maybe Yeah,
cuz it's just right here in the next
town.
They're checking.
Hello. Yeah.
No.
Okay. All right. All right. Bye.
At this point, Dung seemed to sense
something and wanted to return to her
car to get a coat because it was cold.
I get the car. Are you cold? Oh, okay.
Hold on. Just wait for a minute. Is it
cold? Yeah. Aren't you from
Pennsylvania? It's not cold there. It's
cold. No, it's warm. Cold, too. Oh, it's
both places cold. Yeah.
Yeah. I take the course. Huh? I go to
the car and take the clothes. Oh, you
need clothes from there. Okay, hold on.
What do you What did you need from
there? What? What did you need from
there?
What do you need? Well, just hold on.
Okay. Right. Right here. Right. Right
here. Right here. I don't know cuz I
don't know what's in your car. Hold on.
You just need a sweater. Yeah. Okay. Is
it in the front or the back? Yeah. Let
me see. Hold on.
You You can open. Okay. Well, I don't I
don't know what's in there. I just got
to make sure there's no one else or
anything else in there. You can open my
Okay, just for right now, let me see if
um your hands Let me see your hand. Why?
So, I'm going to just detain you for a
little bit until I figure out what's in
your car. What? Let me see what's in
your car and then I'll get you your
jacket. Okay. Okay. Hold on. Hold on.
Hold on. Hold on. What the Why? Huh? Cuz
I'm going to see what's in your car.
What? Why you Huh? Why you cut me? No,
I'm going to just detain you for I can
see get your sweater. Yeah, but
but why you tell me? What? No, you catch
me because I'm going to get your
sweater. The female officer carefully
walked beside her to prevent Dung from
fleeing and requested to handcuff Deng
until everything was deemed safe. At
this point, Dung resisted and they
struggled on the ground.
Stop moving. Turn around. Oh my god.
Uhhuh. Stop. Get on your back. Get on
your belly. Stop. Stop. I don't know.
What happened?
Stop. What
happened? Help me.
I don't know you. I don't know you
either. Stop moving. But what happened?
Nothing happened. You're You're moving
around. I know. Stop moving. Okay. You
put me out. Stop. Okay. Put me out. No,
I'm knocking you out.
He's helping me cuz you kept moving.
I'm helping the cop.
Stop. Get up. Get up. Now. Yeah.
Appreciate it. Come on. Roll underneath.
There you go. Stay right there.
Stop moving.
Why were you trying to get in the car?
Dude, I told you not to get in the
car. Really? Yeah. Just give 49. No,
dude. I
heard just for a
second. Sit in there. Okay. Take off
your shoe. Inspect your feet. Take off
your shoe.
After a period of struggling, a passing
man stopped to help the officer handcuff
the woman. Subsequently, local police
arrived to assist in escorting her to
the station.
I told you not to get in the car. You
kept on trying to get into it.
That's why I put you on the ground.
That's why I was laying on you. Why
didn't you pick
up your umbrella?
You're just going to wait here. Okay.
Alice, you need an ID, brother.
New Mexico State Police recovered a
loaded revolver allegedly from Deng's
car, which had ballistics matching the
bullet retrieved from her flushing
bedroom. Hyen Deng is accused of
seriously injuring Justin Lee in her

his car. Police found Justin Lee on
Deng's bed a day after the incident. It
is reported that Dung then switched to a

had tire issues and was detained by the

How's it going? We got to take this off.
There you
go. Um, take this.
One sec. This woman is Brandy Burton. On
January 20th, 2024, after receiving
information about a theft at Walmart,
the police arrived at the scene and
arrested Brandy. In the video recording
of this process, the woman is handcuffed
and taken to the office for questioning.
You got to let him go first. James,
hey, how's it going? We got to take this
off. There you go.
Um, take this and we're going to put
some handcuffs on.
Okay, you can let go of your hand.
All right, we're going to go in this
office. Okay. All right.
Um, yeah. Let me let me have
All right. Go ahead and have a seat.
All right, ma'am. So, I'm officer
Caldwell, and I'm sure you understand
why you're probably in here. Yes, I do.
All right.
Um,
do you have um an ID in here? I don't
know. Not
[Applause]
So, I know that you have some things
that are uh Walmarts on your person.
Okay. So, there's a female that's going
to come here um and and is going to do
that and get those property back from
you. Okay.
At this time, officer Cowwell asked her
for ID and opened her bag to check her
belongings. During this process, the
officer also explained that a female
officer would come to search her.
Um, do you have her
info, James?
How you doing, my social? Oh, okay.
That's fine. I'll just That's fine.
Appreciate it. Is it what? It's B R A N
D. I Okay.
Okay. Um,
so Brandy, I have to read you something.
Does not mean that you're going to jail.
However, I want to ask you stuff about
what happened at Walmart and I have to
read this. Okay. So, obviously, we're
watching you on the cameras, right? I
mean, they're like cameras, right? So,
they they they remember you from
yesterday, you know? um not as if maybe
you were doing something yesterday or
not, but they do remember you being
here. So that's what caught their eye
and so tell me what happened.
Um I just didn't have the money to pay
for Mhm. stuff I needed.
Simple as that. So it was your intention
to come in here into Walmart today and
steal some of the things that you just
didn't have the money for? It is mostly
to get the the snacks, food. Yeah. Yeah,
I know. Cuz there's a lot of stuff in
there that really is not a necessity,
right? Yeah, there really is. You're
right. Yeah. I mean, I understand like
food and stuff like that. The food is
what I came after and then I got stupid
and greedy and you know, whatever.
Right.
So, after reading her rights, the police
began questioning her about the
incident. Brandy admitted that she had
stolen some items from Walmart because
she didn't have enough money to buy
them. She explained that she initially
intended to take food but then became
greedy and took additional unnecessary
items. Do you remember uh being
trespassed from the Walmart here back in
November?
November of
2022. You remember that?
Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So, you knew you
couldn't come back here or you Well,
they never told me I was trespassed,
but I just asked you if you remember
your I remember being I remember getting
in trouble, but I don't remember anyone
telling me that I came from come back,
you know, but I'm sure they did. I just
wasn't paying attention. Maybe you
didn't remember. The police inquired
about Bry's history and confirmed that
she had been banned from Walmart since
November 2022 due to a previous
incident. Although Brandy remembered
getting into trouble at Walmart, she
claimed she didn't clearly remember the
ban. Officer Cowell then left to verify
the information with this would be uh
one one prior actually two I think. Is
it your third? Uh indicated guilty.
This was uh 2022 and then she has one in
from Alabama. So I think that me
575 on two
Yes, sir. Can I run one by name and date
of birth for prior 33s? I believe I see
one uh from Alabama and then one from
2022 just to confirm.
I'm pretty sure there was one from 2010
cuz I got him one. I'm pretty sure this
is one right from 2010 in Alabama. And
then the one from this one, this one is
another one because it said guilty.
After checking the information, the
police discovered that she had two prior
theft convictions. One in Alabama in
2010 and another in Florida in 2022.
Therefore, with this theft, she would be
facing felony
charges. According to Florida law, if
you have been previously convicted twice
for theft, the third offense can be
prosecuted as a thirdderee felony. The
penalties for a thirdderee felony
include up to 5 years in prison, up to 5
years of
probation, fines up to
$5,000. Additionally, specific offenses
such as shoplifting may result in
additional penalties such as mandatory
restitution to the victim, community
service, and other court-ordered
penalties.
Randy, what polarity Miranda? So, what
what are they? She says they're gabent.
Gabent. So, if I go and look them up
like on ourds.com, it will show up as
that. Yeah, I sure hope so. Gaventon or
um what's meant for them like that?
Okay. They're not controlled. No.
I don't know. Why do you keep them like
that? Why do you just keep them loose
like that? Well, I just Somebody had
gave me So, they're not yours. No, that
prescription is mine. I can get
prescribed them, but those aren't mine.
What's in this pocket? I don't know. Is
it something that's going to stick me?
I'm going to be real pissed if I put my
hand in there and there's like a needle
or something. Okay. a little bit.
You had rusty nails. I had naughty while
there's a rusty nail in there and some
wood. Just adventurous.
Separate your feet for me. Thank you.
Okay. Nothing else concealed, right? You
don't have anything stuffed in your
bottoms, your top, or anything. I
haven't checked yet. Okay.
They're not in these boots. How many
layers of pants do you have on? Two.
Okay. Those have pockets or no? Um I'm
not sure if those sweatpants do or not.
Okay.
Sorry. No, no, you're fine. You're fine.
I'm just You You got a bunch of
surprises, Brandy. During the search,
the police found some pills in Bry's
possession for which she did not have a
prescription. When questioned, Brandy
explained that someone else had given
her the pills. The police also found
other items in her bag, such as rusty
nails and cigarette butts, which further
increased suspicion about her behavior.
I don't know if you're aware or not. Um,
so you're going to go to jail. Okay.
This is a felony cuz you have a you had
a a previous in Alabama in 2010 and you
just got convicted for the other one,
right? From Yeah. So that's two. That
makes this a felony in Florida. Okay.
So sorry to do the news. You have to
stop stealing. Yeah. Oh my god. Don't
steal anymore because Walmart has
topline cameras. But but more
importantly, don't go to other stores
and do the stealing. If you need help,
there are places that can give you
assistance with food, water, all that
stuff. Okay? It's not just, you know, to
steal, right? All right. I'm not I'm not
sitting here trying to The food is what
got me doing it.
I'm not I get I'm not trying to like
belittle you. I'm just saying don't come
here and steal you. You've been
trespassed already in 2022, too, right?
All right. So, that's you know. So, what
is the the forel?
Um, well, I I Yeah, you're going to see
the judge. I would say I I I think the
bond is like 2,000, I'd say. But don't
don't hold me to it. I believe that's
what it is, though. 2,000 or 2500 for
the felony petty theft or retail theft.
So, except BS can get
me everything when you get there. But
that's what the outcome of today is.
Okay. Okay. Okay. You don't have any.
The police continued to question Brandy
and confirmed that she was banned from
Walmart and currently facing felony
charges for reaffending.
They explained that she would have to go
to court and might have to post bail
ranging from
$2,000 to
$2,500 to be released. They also
emphasized that if she reaffended or
appeared at Walmart during her ban, she
would be immediately arrested.
[Music]
What's going on, boss man?
Bernie, what's your last name again?
Burton. Burton.
She was searched by a female officer.
So,
yeah, it ain't made for comfort. Brandy,
y'all
had I was going nowhere. We don't know
that. You know what I'm saying?
You're facing
me. That way. You're going to be in the
front.
Got that many people. You ready? Oh man.
I got the belts that are left are
they're really stiff and I really don't
think she's pretty. No, she she good.
No, you see I'm scared. I can tell you
should be okay.
Now, you bow yourself, Randy.
A one sec.
After completing the procedure, she was
taken to the police cruiser to be
transported to jail. Upon arrival, she
would be processed and handled according

Collagian. On August 1st,
2023, patrolman Eric Finley of the
Sparta Township Police Department
responded to a report of an unresponsive
woman sleeping inside a Ford Explorer in
a parking lot. He arrived on the scene
and approached the woman sitting in the
driver's seat.
Damn. Oh, I'm sorry. What's going on?
Hold on the window. Oh, I'm sorry. Hi.
How are you? Good. What's going on? Oh,
no. It was just happening here. Hi.
What's going on? Why don't you step out
of the car for me? I just want to make
sure that you're okay. Oh, we're fine.
All right. Well, people were Well,
people were a little nervous. Oh,

[Applause]
Sorry.
All right. What's up, man? Let's go back
here real quick. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, sir.
The primman woke the woman by tapping on
the window, but she seemed disoriented
and unaware of her surroundings. He then
asked the woman to step out of the
vehicle. So, how long we've been Have
you been here? Uh, about I talked to my
husband 20 minutes or so. 20 minutes.
Yeah. Okay. Where you coming from? Uh,
actually I went to car wash uh near the
um the barracks. Uh 206.
Wash the car. Yeah, I wash the truck.
Okay. Yeah. All right. Whose car is
this? Mine. It's yours. Okay. Do you
have uh any kind of identification on
you? I do. Okay. Could I have that,
please? Sure. Oh, appreciate that. Yeah.
Yeah. I'm sorry. I was just
uh safe spot to make phone calls. Yeah.
In fact, um,
you guys are good. Thank Thank you. I
appreciate it. Thank you. I'm sorry. I
didn't realize people are getting crazy
over here. Here you go. Sorry. Thank
you.
All right. So, where you coming from
today? Newton. Yeah. Newton. Huh? Okay.
I live right near
The police later identified her as
Cararissa Klay Gian. The patrolman then
began explaining the situation and
inquired about her health. Wanted to
make sure you're okay. Obviously, you're
uh you're passing out here. Oh, no. You
know, I was Yeah. No, I'm good. I'm
good, sir. Well, is there a reason why
you were passing out here?
Just just just a nice nice peaceful
moment, I guess. You know, all day and
Yeah, that's awesome. Okay. Yeah.
All
right. Not right now. What's What's
going on? Do you have any kind of
medical issues? No, sir. Nothing? Okay.
Are you on any kind any kind of
medication at all? No, nothing.
Little allergy meds, but I mean I don't
you know,
are you feeling like lightheadedness or
anything like that? No, nothing like
that. Okay. Hey, I'm I'm good. I'm good.
I'm okay. Nothing nothing

and that was it. I mean Okay. Do you

Yeah.

Yep. Yep. Okay. Peace out. Thank you.
54. You can cancel with anyone who also
cancel.
She repeatedly claimed she was fine. At
this point, due to the initial nature of
the incident, the police called an
ambulance. However, patrolman Finley
informed them that there was no medical
emergency, so they cleared the scene
shortly thereafter. Finley also took her
driver's license for verification. At
this point, a female patrolman
approached her.
All right. What's your name? I'm sorry.
What's your name? Tissa. So, we just
have to ensure that you know you're
going to be capable of Are you like
tired or no? So, what exactly happened?
cuz I need we need to try to figure out
you weren't as happy. It was just a
peaceful moment outside the house and I
just you know I figured the parking lot
I was on the phone and that's all.
Nothing more, nothing less. Yeah. But
yeah, you just fell asleep.
Yeah. Yeah.
Not fell asleep. I was just I was doing
makeup and I I fixing my face but not
like entirely. You know what I mean?
Yeah. Oh, you But you weren't responsive
to
people who were
So that's that's Yeah. Well, I was Yeah.
No. Um I mean I'm in the park. Law
enforcement. Of course, our biggest
concern is we do not want to have you
operating a vehicle if you're tired to
the point where you're like unresponsive
behind a wheel cuz you can hurt yourself
or someone else. Yeah. No, I'm
absolutely fine.
Do you remember the events leading up to
like falling asleep or passing out or I
was on the phone with my husband? And
did you end the call or did you just I
didn't pass and then uh about 20
minutes. I mean I haven't been here that
long. Um I can go on my call log but
yeah I don't believe that this is any
cause for alarm. It's just No. Well,
it's like where you're falling asleep or
you know may have taken something that
has you we have to ensure that you're
safe. If we have to ensure that the
public is safe. The female patrolman
talked to her about her health condition
and wanted to ensure she was fit to
operate a vehicle. Although Cararissa
said there was nothing to worry about.
After some discussion, the two patrolmen
decided to conduct field sobriety tests.
So So what's based on what I saw? Based
on what I saw, okay, we're going to take
you so through some a test, okay, to
make sure that you're safe to drive. Oh,
goodness. Okay. Okay. Um, just before we
get started, did you while you were
sitting here, did you take anything
while you were sitting here or anything
like that?
All right. So, it's going to be three
tests, then I'm going to I'm going to do
it for you. Okay. All right. All right.
So, come over this way.
Okay. All right. Uh, so before we get
started, do you have any injuries or
ailments that would prevent you from
being able to balance yourself at all?
No. Nothing like that? Nothing with your
feet or anything like that? Okay. All
right. Um, also, do you have any
contacts or glasses? Do you wear
contacts or glasses? No, but I do need
glasses. I got to go. You do that's
fine. You know, you turned 44. That's
fine. See the tip my finger? Okay.
You're gonna follow that with your eyes
and your
Keep your hands to your sides.
Sorry. Don't move your head.
Patrolman Finley began with the
horizontal gaze nist dogmas naine test.
During the hang test, PTRman Finley
observed the pursuit was not smooth and
noted distinct and sustained Nistagmus
said maximum deviation. Next test I'm
going to do is going to be the walk and
turn. Okay. What I want you to do though
is get in the starting position. It's
going to be hands at your sides, feet
together. Actually, it's going to be
heel to toe. Right foot in front of left
as so. Can you do that? Go ahead. Put go
in that start position now.
Okay. Keep your arms balanced out. Yep.
Heel to toe. Okay. Stay in that
position.
Are you ready?
Yes. One, two, three, four, five. Heel
toe.
Six. Pivot. Pivot.
Look down at your feet.
Okay. The second exercise was the walk
and turn test. After listening to the
instructions, Cararissa performed the
test, but she did not walk heel to toe
on all steps and turned incorrectly.
This one is the last one. It's going to
be the one leg stand. Okay. Starting
position for that is going to be feet
together, hands at your sides. Okay.
When I tell you you're gonna lift either
foot, whatever you choose, six inches
above the ground, keeping the foot
parallel to the floor, to the ground.
Three of 100,000, 4,000, 5,000. You're
going to continue until I tell you to
stop. Okay? Do you understand that?
You're going to make sure you keep your
arms at your sides.
Look at your toe, the lifted toe. When
you do it, count out loud. Understand?
Whatever foot you choose, whatever foot
you choose, just bear with me one
second. Okay. Yeah, sure. Get in that
starting position still.
Keep going. Keep going. Yep. Yep. Lift
up. Lift up and continue. Go.
Count. eyes was the one leg stand test
and Cararissa initially couldn't
complete the test because she was
wearing high heels. Patrolman Finley
gave her another chance to complete the
test without shoes, but she still
couldn't maintain balance as instructed.
Finley then terminated the test for
safety reasons based on what I see.
Okay, you're going to be arrested for
DWI. No. Okay. Yes. Turn around. No,
sir. Yes. Turn around. Put your hand
behind your back. Oh, no, sir. Yep.
Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop.
Good. Other arm.
All right. Have a seat. Okay. Go ahead.
Have a seat.
Based on her falling asleep behind the
wheel, the odor of alcohol, her impaired
appearance, and her inability to
complete the sobriety test, Patrolman
Finley arrested Caressa for driving
while intoxicated. She was then
processed and transported to the police
station. Driving after drinking alcohol
is extremely dangerous and can have
catastrophic consequences, not only for
you, but also for others. Always
remember that driving while intoxicated
can lead to unfortunate accidents and
affect your life and your family.
Therefore, if you have been drinking, be
responsible and choose public
transportation, call a taxi, or ask
someone who hasn't been drinking to
drive. Her vehicle was searched and
impounded for 12 hours under John's law.
At the police station, Cararissa was
read the standard statement for motor
vehicle operators and agreed to submit a
breath sample. Her al-Qaeda results
showed a back of
0.12% above the legal limit of
0.08%. After Cararissa completed the
processing, she was released and is
awaiting her court
appearance. Patrolman Finley issued her
summones for the following: driving
while intoxicated, careless driving,
unregistered vehicle operation, and no
insurance card. Thank you for watching

March 3rd, 2024, while off duty at Pang
Nation, Officer Castanara noticed a
suspicious woman suspected of stealing
hotel luggage. As a result, they
approached the woman. Your car. So, you
see where you turned right to where you
go in the Uber lot. It's going to be
there right next to your police car.
I got a ticket to the airport. So, you
all right?
What? No, I'm good. I'm a police
officer. Okay. Are you guys taking my
car? No. Right now, what's wrong with
you? Okay. What's going on?
So, I'm a little bit like, you know,
disheveled. I didn't brush my teeth. I
had my period. I just want to go home.
Okay. Where's home? I'm going to my car
and I'm going to go get something at
Burger King. Chicken time. I'm going to

I have tickets to So, we're going to go
to the airport on Wednesday. Listen, I
just had a terrible time. Why are you
going to the airport on Wednesday?
What's today? Sunday. Takes 8 hours to
get to Georgia. I'm going to go visit my
mother. The woman named Maya initially
refused when the police asked to see her
car keys. It took a while before she
provided the keys. When questioned, Maya
gave conflicting information, raising
further
suspicion. Under Florida statute

information to law enforcement during an
investigation is a serious offense. This
act is considered a firstdegree

want? Yeah, I have a marriage
certificate. I got Did you ever get ID?
I'm going to drive. Huh? How you going
to drive ID? Uh, did you get ever get
new shoes and never like try them out
before you wore them? Don't do it.
When asked for identification, Maya
responded that she did not have any ID,
but did have a marriage certificate.
This made the police officer concerned
about her ability to drive safely.
Consequently, the officer mentioned
Florida's Baker Act, which allows for
the transport of individuals with
psychological issues to a hospital to
ensure they receive appropriate care.
It's not your business where I'm going.
Is it you're okay to drive? Okay. Okay.
You want to give a breathalyzer?
Something else might be wrong with you.
Oh, well, you're wrong. Give me my
marriage certificate. Give me my

you're okay, right? That's the
difference between I don't know where

you're clear for the hospital. What do
there? Okay. What does that have to do
with what I'm talking about? What is
your name? Maya. Maya. What? The Baker
Act is an important law in Florida
passed in
1971 aimed at protecting individuals
showing signs of psychological
instability and needing urgent medical
care. This act provides a legal
framework for evaluating and treating
individuals who pose a risk to
themselves or others due to mental
health issues. It also protects the
privacy rights of patients and provides
regulations for voluntary or involuntary

name on it? Let me see an ID with your
name on it.
The woman stated she was from New
Jersey, but claimed to have an ID in
Florida under the name Karina Cook. This
made the police suspicious, leading them
to verify the documents Maya provided.
The results showed she had provided
false information about her identity.
I don't care. Now, now you got me mad.
Okay. You gave me a fake ID. You did. I
gave you a mar. That's the same thing.
Gave you a marriage. And you told me
your name was that. That is a fake ID.

Suspecting Maya's involvement in a
nearby passenger's purse theft, the
officer asked her to put her hands
behind her back. When Maya showed signs
of resistance, they had to handcuff her
to ensure safety.

in prison and are fines. Oh, take off.
Well, she's stealing other people's
bags. I'll get up. I'll get up. I'll get
up. Ow. My
arm. I'll get up. Hold on. Wait. You can
get up. Get up. There you go. Take this
backpack off. It's not mine. You're
under us. Let's go. Yeah. Wait. Listen.
Where's Karina Cook's ID? So, you please
do. Okay. Take this backpack off me.
It's not
mine. We have to go. That's mine. Let's
go. Then start walking. Start walking.
We're done.
They have my ID. She's getting hard.
What does that mean? I didn't steal. I
swear a price for my mother. I rebuke
this. The police decided to take Maya to
the station for further investigation.
During this process, she repeatedly
requested the return of the Karina
Cookadaho and insisted she was not
involved in the theft. In such
situations, cooperating with the police
is very important. You should remain
calm and comply with the officer's
request, politely asking for the return
of your ID if it has been confiscated.
You have the right to remain silent and
not incriminate yourself, and you can
request to know the specific reason for
being taken to the station. To protect
your rights, you should also record
details of the incident and seek advice
from a lawyer. Positive cooperation can
help reduce tension and ensure fair
treatment during the investigation.
I need to see the backpack for
real. Ma'am, we can't just stand by for
a second. You can't get away with
standby. Has one of the Hey, how you
doing? We're going to have to take off.
Yeah. After she was handcuffed, the
police searched her bags and found
several items that did not belong to
her. The value of the stolen items was
significant and affected many people
around her. Oh, you understand what I
read to you today? Yes. Okay. Okay, with
that in mind, is that Rolex yours? Yes,
it's a custom Rolex. I bought it with
Michael Marinelli. The receipt's in my
safe. I order my daughter from Mayor.
Michael Marinelli. It was my boyfriend.
And this is the lady from the
car. Let me do I got to do
Can you take these shoes off? Hold on.
Do your thing. My watch. Yeah. My time.
Are all four bags hers? This one. No,
there's a bunch on top of them. Put it
because that's not Oh, separate. All
right. I got something you got. Hey.
Yeah. What's up, just trying to figure
out what we got and then we're going to
go from there. But we got resist. Theft
not only causes financial loss to the
victim, but also damages trust within
the community and can lead to severe
legal consequences such as imprisonment,
fines, and probation under section
812.014 of the Florida Code. Moreover,
theft damages the thief's reputation and
negatively impacts their personal life
and future. Therefore, it is important
to avoid theft, not only because of the
severe legal consequences, but also out
of respect and responsibility to
society. When facing financial
difficulties, you can seek help from
charitable organizations, take temporary
jobs, or participate in vocational
training to improve skills and job
opportunities. Smart budgeting and
financial advice from experts are also
important. Do not hesitate to seek help
from family and friends. These ways help
you overcome difficulties legally,
maintain your reputation, and avoid
legal troubles.
And this bag destination. I know you
have personal paperwork in there, too.
Is there any watches, any jewelry?
There's no jewelry or anything like
that. There's a nice one there. There's
a iPad and there's a laptop as well.
There. There's a good amount of money
and stuff in there. Yeah. Yeah. Let's go
through
it and you can tell me what's yours.
Yep. Father-in-law, brother-in-law.
There's a little wallet. Little wallet.
Yeah. That should have my keys in it.
When questioning the victim of the
theft, she said that Maya had taken two
of her bags containing valuable items,
including handbags and tech gadgets. One
of the items Mia used was another
victim's personal identification
documents. Finally, based on the
information and evidence collected, the
police decided to arrest Maya for theft,
grand theft, and resisting arrest. She
was detained at the Palm Beach County
Main Detention Center.
The woman pleaded guilty to grand theft
and was sentenced to 106 days in jail,
24 months of probation, and a
$618 fine by Judge Caroline
Shepard. Overall, the woman in this
situation was charged under sections
812.014,
810.02, and 843.01
01 of the Florida criminal code and had
to take responsibility for her actions.
This case serves as a reminder of the
severe legal consequences of breaking
the law and the importance of adhering
to legal regulations to maintain order
and security in society. It also sends a
message that the legal system does not
tolerate actions that infringe on others
rights and public safety, thereby
raising awareness of legal compliance
within the community.
