January 28th 2024 a deputy sheriff was
flagged down by a resident after a woman
assaulted a boy who was handing out
flyers the officer promptly initiated an
investigation starting with taking
statements from Witnesses stay right
there leave me alone okay stay right

second so my kids are out riding their
bikes so I heard yelling I'm like okay
one of my kids are fighting whatever
come out and she was like going crazy
she tried to steal his bik like it was
her she was the aggressor okay I saw the
same thing I was I'm here I'm on my way
up to Montgomery um and I saw these two
uh in some sort of verbal argument and
hey hey
stop please there's something wrong and
then yeah she physically so she began to
chase him and then she went after the
bike and it was when he took the his
bike back from her that she struck him
several times and he just kind of
shielded himself walked down the street
that's when I stopped um I stopped him

Witnesses at the scene reported that
there was a heated argument between the
two after which the woman chased the
teenager and even assaulted him when he
tried to retrieve his bicycle seeing
this the witnesses intervene moved him
away and quickly called the
police the officer then sought out the
victim to collect his statement but also
had to deal with the victim's father who
was quite upset about what had just
happened no not her not the one about
the C the one behind got over there stay

glasses too you guys didn't me I were

he was attacked while hand in out flyers
and that the woman hit him took his
glasses and flyers and ran to a nearby
house the police then went to the
woman's location to conduct an
investigation supposedly he went in she
went into this house now here's his

discovered the victim's glasses after
confirming the information with the
victim the police asked him if he wanted
to press charges against the woman and
he expressed a desire to pursue
prosecution another officer quickly
approached the woman and confronted her
some over my house and said sh get away
from my house he said I'm selling a sir
so he came to knock on your door yeah I

cooperate and attempted to leave forcing

woman repeatedly insisted on her
innocence and demanded to have her
handcuffs removed the officer remained
calm and maintain control of the
situation promising to loosen the
handcuffs after she was placed in the
police car she was also identified as
showing signs of
intoxication this woman has been charged
with several serious offenses under
Florida law she is charged with battery
for assaulting a teenager violating
section
784.03 next she faces a larsy charge
under Section
812.014 for taking taking the Flyers
additionally she is charged with burdy
for unlawfully entering a neighbor's
house violating section
810.02 and with resisting without
violence under Section
8432 for resisting police during her
arrest these charges highlight the
seriousness of her actions and the
severe legal consequences she may face
if convicted she could face several
years in prison subst iial fines and
additional penalties such as probation
or community service depending on the
