on December 17 2022 a Monroe County
Sheriff's deputy was dispatched to the
county courthouse in Sparta Wisconsin
a female subject 31 year old Rebecca
Nichols had been attempting to enter
Vehicles outside the courthouse
jail staff inside the courthouse were
monitoring her and notified dispatch of
the situation
it should be known that Rebecca was
arrested earlier in the day for several
counts of bail jumping due to her
violating her GPS restrictions she had
since been released from custody
a week prior she prevented a jail staff
member from entering their vehicle after
being released from custody making this
the second time Rebecca has engaged in
illegal activity immediately upon being
released
upon approach there were two subjects
that were walking away from the area
Rebecca appeared if she was talking to
them and addressed one of them as Dad
however they continued walking and
ignored her

staff and was escorted to a booking cell

Rebecca was charged with felony counts
of attempted battery by a prisoner bail
jumping times eight misdemeanor counts
of resisting an officer disorderly
conduct attempted entry into a locked
vehicle and Bale jumping she was
released a few days later on a 500 cash
Bond almost a month later a bench
warrant was authorized for Rebecca due
to her violating the rules of the bond
monitoring program the following day she
was taken into custody with a cash Bond
