They're doing all sorts of stuff to survive. Okay, go to school. Do something. You're 21. >> You don't need to be at CVS at 1:00 in the morning stealing. You know what I'm saying? Running into Deputy Brown. All right. I'm going to give you the number to the ACT shelter. If you need a place to stay, call them. Okay. So that happened. There was $895 worth of stuff in that child's car seat. Because the value exceeded $750, she was charged with felony grand theft. She was also charged with resisting without violence. On October 11th, she agreed to enter a pre-trial diversion program. Some of the conditions included completing 20 hours of community service and enrolling in Advent e-learning, a program designed to change behaviors and prevent repeat offenses. The state attorney dropped the other woman's possession charge due to insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Thanks for watching. See you on the next ride along.
