On this ride-along, a phone gets put aside, a man sings our tune, >> All right, step out for me. >> and Raider is happy man. On Monday, May 26th, a Santa Rosa County Deputy pulled over a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign. >> Hello, how are you doing? Boy, this is Sheriff's Office. I'm going to stop you. You didn't come to a full complete stop at the uh stop sign back there. You did not. License, registration, insurance, please. >> come to a complete stop. >> Very well. I'm not here to argue with you about it, but please turn on your head. >> I'm not going to argue with you. My wallet is not on me. >> You have a wallet on you? >> No. >> So, you have an insurance card or registration with you? >> It's on my phone. It's on my phone. My guy code is on my phone. >> Can I see your insurance? >> Yes, you can. >> Another officer who was nearby walked up to provide backup if needed. >> I did not I stopped at that stop sign. >> You did not, sir. I don't care. >> Do you have your registration while you're looking for that? >> I knew you were going to pull me over cuz I did this to you cuz you're what you're doing right there sitting up there is it called entrapment. >> That's not entrapment, sir. You need to look at the legal definition of entrapment. >> You need to go read your Florida state statutes, so. >> Well, I probably know them a little bit better than you would, sir. >> I'm probably because you know how to manipulate the law in your favor. So, what you're not going to do >> Don't do that again. >> is that I'm not going to pay cuz I'm going to send it to the state and that right there a ticket is considered a co-sign. >> Well, this piece of paper >> Well, whatever cuz a ticket is on my phone. >> I'm about to write you a ticket. >> Write that ticket. >> What's going to happen is is you're going to write that ticket. When you sign your signature on that ticket >> Uh-huh. >> you therefore sign yourself in as a signer. Therefore, I'm the co-signer. I'm going to send it to the state and you're going to have to pay that. >> Okay, so what's your first name? >> The officer's complete disregard of the man's co-signer comment, a comment that usually stems from sovereign citizen banter, kept the conversation from going down that black hole. So, after getting the man's personal information, the conversation came back around to the stop sign. >> He did not. >> I did. >> you have your social security? >> Do you have a camera? >> I do. >> You do? Pull it up. >> No. >> Yeah. I'll pull it up for you. In May, his plea agreement for the November arrest would put that up to 10 job applications per week if not employed full-time. Thanks for [music] watching.
