Keep following the blue light. You're doing good. >> Yes, sir. >> It's all right. Try and keep that balance, okay? Right here. >> Yes, sir. >> Right here. Yeah. Keep that head straight. Look at this blue light, okay? >> Yeah, I um I'm actually taking dance lessons right now for a um for uh Dancing Under the Stars. >> Very cool. >> And um uh the uh in uh Clermont, anyway. >> No problem. Let's keep them hands at your side. >> Yeah. >> All right. Blue light right here. We'll pick up right where we left off, okay? Eyes in your eyes only. Do not move your head. >> Yes, sir. Here's the car. >> Okay. Keep the justice coming up, though. >> Yeah, I got it. >> Stay there. Don't move. >> Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this? Cuz you guys are [ __ ] [ __ ] You're making it worse. You're No, you're making it worse for yourself because nobody understands what the [ __ ] you are doing. I'm from California. We don't do things like this out here. You people are [ __ ] >> A red light. A three-car crash at one of the busiest [music] intersections in Clermont, Florida. That alone would have been a bad night. But the driver wasn't done. Over the next few hours, a routine DUI would spiral into a hospital room, a bed she was handcuffed to, >> [music] >> and a felony that had nothing to do with how she was driving. This is one of those arrests where [music] the person under investigation keeps making it worse on camera the entire time. It's the evening of August 27th, 2025 [music] in Clermont, Florida, Lake County, just west of Orlando. At the intersection of Citrus Tower Boulevard and Northridge Boulevard. A black 2023 Audi blows through a red light. It slams into another vehicle with enough force to send it rolling until it hits a third car. Three vehicles, one intersection, in seconds. >> I don't think he's leaking or needs a tow, but >> Right, yeah. >> I'm going to have him back up and find out. I just don't look pretty, but I think >> Yeah. Yeah, it probably fixed itself. >> You all good? >> Yeah, you're drivable. >> It looks like it's supposed to. No, it don't look pretty, but you don't Um I mean The impact was probably rough, but it didn't hit. >> Well, nothing >> Yeah, you're not leaking any fluid, so Did they ask you what happened or anything yet? >> Are you saying are you the registered owner of the vehicle? >> Yes. >> You are? Okay. I'm part of the um self-driving team. >> How much? Okay. Okay. >> All right. >> Okay, I swear I'm not like that crazy. >> No, you're you guys are good. >> All right. Thank you. >> All right, do you have everything out of this vehicle that you need? >> Um other than my um >> So, you you'll have access to it, you know, tomorrow. It's just going to get towed. So, anything you need pertinent house keys, anything of that nature. >> Um >> Why don't you go ahead and go ahead and gather those? Yes, she she actually headed over. She's going to do all the crash form right now. She'll give you guys a document and on the top it'll have a That number you just give your insurance company and it'll have all the information from witnesses everything on there. >> Claremont police roll up to a mess of metal and glass. And the driver of that Audi later identified as 48-year-old Sarah Noboa is already [music] standing out. She's unsteady on her feet. She stumbles around the scene. She's apologizing to the other drivers and there's a strong odor of alcohol. >> The officer over here, the female officer is just finishing up the crash form. And then she'll give you a piece of paper. On the across the top will be a case number. You just call your insurance company give them that case number. That'll have all you guys' information plus all the four witness information. >> Okay, so you don't have to have a They didn't need to stay here with me. >> I believe that's She already got it from you. >> Yeah, I was talking with that friend and we have some witnesses' names. >> We have four of them. Yeah, they'll be in there. >> So it wasn't that they saw them getting a ticket or anything. >> Huh? >> Yeah. The other person gets a ticket. >> She's going to get something. >> Whatever it is but there's I'm sure there's some kind >> Mhm. Yeah, we we have to go through a whole process and then uh So the way it works in Florida is we have to do a crash investigation and then once our crash investigation is over, so I once that officer hands over all the paperwork then we can do >> Hi. >> Yeah. You have a way to get home? >> Yes. Okay, I just want to let you guys know I'm so sorry. I I think this accident was my fault. >> Yeah. >> And I apologize. >> Well, I'm >> glad you're okay. And I'm glad you're standing. And you're talking. >> Yeah, that's right. My husband's in California right now. >> I thank you for taking ownership of the accident. And we appreciate that. >> I'm so sorry. I was not looking. >> I'm going to put this in here, okay? >> Um yeah. >> All right. >> Um >> We'll figure We'll figure it all out. We'll figure it all out. Ma'am, ma'am, don't move around cuz we don't want to trust all the cars. Just kind of hang out somewhere. Cuz while you're moving around, if somebody flies through, why don't we head somewhere by the curb or stand next to your car? Don't be walking around, okay? >> Sorry. >> All right. Yep. We just can't trust traffic. >> Officers don't have to dig for a theory of what happened here. >> [music] >> It's walking around in front of them. What follows is a textbook DUI investigation, and Noboa's behavior does most of the prosecution's work. [music] She's cooperative one moment, combative the next. The report describes [music] her demeanor in three words that tell you everything: aggressive, >> [music] >> profane, and under the influence of alcohol. >> That's okay. So, I'm actually Let's Let's move a little bit further up here. Just cuz everybody doesn't need to hear your business, right? All right. So, I'm actually going to hand this to my partner real quick. Um while we're out here, right? Unfortunately, what took place, the accident, right? Multiple witnesses saying that you ran the red light. It was It stayed red for a little >> Yeah, I made it through most of it. I just want to go home. >> Driving on the wrong side of the road, you must not know that. Um So, like I was saying, my apologies. So, multiple witnesses, right? There was four that stated that you ran the red light. It was sustained red for a little [music] while. And then, while we're here, right? I'm observing as well as other officers are observing multiple different things, okay? You're not able to stand very well. There is an unfortunate odor of an alcoholic beverage which >> [music] >> we believe to be emanating from your person. So, I want to ask, do you have anything to drink today? >> I just want to go home. >> Totally understand that. Um so, unfortunately, being that we have concerns, myself and other officers, I'm going to ask if you want to conduct standardized field sobriety exercises to dispel that. >> [music] >> Um you said are you going to just follow me? >> So, I can't drive you home at this point, right? Because of having the concerns. So, it's it's totally up to you. There's some balance exercises, right? NHTSA says that they are standardized. It would be three of them. And I'd like to know if you want to dispel those concerns by taking those exercises or conducting them or not. I would allow you to take your shoes off cuz I understand they are heels, not easy. >> Um >> But, it's it's your choice. >> So, what happens if I don't? >> So, if you choose not to, then I have to make the determination whether I believe that you are under the influence. And at that point, I would go forward that way. And if you choose to, then you could dispel those concerns. It's It's your opportunity to dispel any concern that I may have. >> What would you um um What would you tell your wife? that advice? >> I apologize. I know it's something that you're looking for, but I can't give you that advice. It's It's It's up to you whether you'd like to take them or not. It's totally up to you. >> Um call somebody anyway. >> So, it's It's It's It's not really how that's going to work. So, this is what [clears throat] we're going to do, okay? It's going to be a yes or no. Would you like to take the standardized field sobriety exercises to dispel my concern? Okay. Yes, you would like to. Is that Is that your answer? Yes? >> Yes. >> It's yes or no. I'm >> Yeah, I just I I don't want to be in trouble. >> I understand that. So, you're If you're saying yes, we'll walk right up here where it's a little bit flat and level, and we'll just do three balance exercises. >> Okay. >> Is that what you'd like to do? >> I think so. >> All right. >> And I'm not going to hold my phone. >> I'm not going to have you hold your phone. I'm I'll have my partner hold it. Um so, if you give me a second, I just got to get a piece of paper to fill out those exercises, and I'll be right back. Never mind. All right. Let's take a walk up here, okay? So, we'll just going to wait for him to leave. You're good. And then we'll use this road We'll use the road right here. We'll leave it shut down so nobody comes by us. All right. So, other than being in an accident, are you sick or injured? >> No. >> No? >> Not at all. >> Are you diabetic? >> Um no. >> Do you take insulin? >> No. >> [music] >> Are you under the care of a doctor? >> Yes. >> And without giving me any type of medical like >> [music] >> for anything specific or just normal routine stuff. >> Um uh antidepressants. >> Okay. >> Several. >> Do you have seizures? >> No. >> Um no. >> Are you taking any medication other than antidepressants? >> Uh yes, I am taking something called phentermine. >> That's all right. >> It is a >> If you don't remember the name, that's fine. Do you know what they're for? Like what what does it do for you? >> loss. >> Weight loss, okay. And that's prescribed? >> Yes. >> Okay. Do you have a physical handicap? >> Excuse me, I'm uh >> And other than routine stuff, are you under the care of a dentist? >> No. >> All right. All right. All right. If you want cuz I'm going to ask you to stand with your feet together, if you would like to take those off so that you can balance better, it's totally up to you. It's okay. Do you have any >> Anyone who's watched enough of these knows [music] the pattern, the explanations, the deflections, the reasons it wasn't what it obviously was. But talking isn't going to fix a three-car crash and a scene full of witnesses. So officers move to the one thing that settles it, a breath test. She refuses. And in Florida, [music] refusing that test triggers an automatic license suspension all on its own, but it doesn't [music] make the case go away. It just means officers take the next step. >> Follow your eyes. >> Uh well, I'm nearsighted and farsighted. That's fine. >> No worries. And then do you wear contacts or glasses traditionally? [music] All right, that's fine. Can you just stand with your feet together for me, hands at your side? >> Yes, sir. >> All right. Remain like We will not let you fall. Is that the best you can do? >> nervous. >> That's okay. The best you can do, is that okay? >> Yes. >> All right. Can you see this blue light right here? >> Yes. >> All right. With your eyes and your eyes only, I want you to follow this blue light and do not move your head. >> Okay. >> Okay? >> Okay. >> Ready? >> Yes. >> Keep following the blue light. You're doing good. >> Yes, sir. >> It's all right. Try and keep that balance, okay? Right here. >> Yes, sir. >> Right here. Here. Keep that head straight. Look at this blue light, okay? >> Yeah, I I um I'm actually taking dance lessons right now. >> Okay. >> for a Dancing Under the Stars. >> Very cool. >> And um uh >> All right. >> in Claremont, you might >> No problem. Let's keep them hands at your side. >> Yeah. >> All right. Blue light right here. We'll pick up right where we left off, okay? Eyes in your eyes only. Do not move your head. >> Yes, sir. >> Try and keep that head straight, okay? Hands at your side. >> [music] >> Right here. >> Sorry. >> Nope. Don't keep looking. Right here. >> Yes, sir. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry. >> All right. It's okay. It's all right. So, other >> Go ahead. >> Other than No, no, no, no. from Other than the medications that you're prescribed, do you by chance take anything else today? >> Uh no. >> And those medications, do they say that you should or should not drink alcohol with them? >> They say that you should not. >> Okay. Do you know when the last time you took the medications were? >> Uh yeah. >> This morning? Okay. Do you know about roughly what time? >> Um when I get up in the morning, like 7:00 when I get up. >> Okay. All right. So, this next one I'm going to have you take not now, but I'm going to have you walk nine and nine steps back. Would you like to take your shoes off? >> Uh no. >> No? All right. So, do me a favor, okay? With this white line, do you do you agree that this is flat and level, free of obstructions? All right. I need you to take your right foot, place it in front of your left foot so that your right heel is touching your left toe. Sounds like a plan. No worries. No worries. All right. So, your right foot, I'm going to have it placed it in front of your left foot so your right heel is touching your left toe. All right. Nine heel-touching-toe steps forward. Series of small steps to turn around. Nine heel-touching-toe steps back. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Hands at your side. Look at your feet and count each step out loud. Do you have any questions? >> Yes. You're not supposed to look down. >> Okay. >> ever learned how to dance? >> Ma'am, we're not dancing, okay? Do you have any questions? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Well, >> they tell you when you're trying to learn how to dance, which is what I am trying to do right now. >> Go ahead and look forward then. >> for an amazing concert in Claremont. Yes, going to be a really good Find out who my dad is. >> [snorts] >> Because she still has to be medically [music] cleared before jail, they transport her to Waterman ER in nearby Tavares. And that drive is the line between a bad DUI and a felony. At the ER, Noboa refuses to cooperate at the most basic level. >> I'm sorry? >> I was uncooperative. All right. >> It's It's a necessary one. >> All right, ma'am. >> Yes. >> So, which foot are you going to raise in the air? >> Uh right one. >> All right, so you're going to keep your left foot on the ground, right foot pointed approximately 6 in off the ground, point your toe forward, and count out loud by 1,000. Do you have any questions? >> I don't think so. >> All right, you can begin whenever you would like. >> 1,001 1,001 right in the middle of the way. Never. 1,001 1,002 1,003 >> And that's good. >> No. No, it's not. >> Well, you you reached the the elapsed time that I needed you to do the exercise. >> Well, you just need to relax for like 3 seconds. Ready? 1 2 and then >> She won't walk. >> [music] >> She lifts her legs off the ground, going limp, forcing officers to physically carry her inside. Once she's in the room, it escalates. She screams. She acts out. She tries to leave not once, but multiple times. >> Awesome. Ma'am, do me a favor, turn around. Please put your hands on your back. >> 1 2 >> Please do Ma'am, please Hey. Hey. >> Dad. >> Here's the deal. Here's the deal. I'm going to put handcuffs on you. You need to Ma'am. >> Dad. Dad. >> Ma'am, put your hands behind your back. >> 1 2 >> You're okay. >> You asked me to do >> You're okay. >> Do you guys know who I am? >> We're good. No, ma'am. >> I'm so sorry. >> Um I would really like to have one more opportunity. >> You're good. Roll on your side. Roll on your side. Roll onto your side, please. >> Um excuse me. I need to move my >> Roll onto your side, please. Okay. >> Thank you. >> Now, let's get you up. Are you hurt? Are you hurt? We'll pick you up on three. Ready? 1 2 3. Good. We're going to head over to this police car here, okay? >> Okay. >> You got a little bit there. >> No. >> Walk over here. >> No. >> Ma'am, come on, ma'am. >> my purse. >> We will get your purse. We will get your purse. Come on. >> I'm I'm going to get your purse personally. Go take a seat in the car. I'm going to show you your purse. And then we're going to move on with this. But I'm going to get your purse. Go ahead and walk to the car. >> Come on, ma'am. >> Come on, ma'am. >> All right. Ma'am, we're just going to have to drag you in. I don't want to do that. >> me to get your purse? Go and get in the car. >> You be a [ __ ] black man and [ __ ] >> in the vault and get in the car. >> All right. Hey. >> What the [ __ ] >> Please sit in the car. >> I'm from California. You people >> Please sit in the car. >> are [ __ ] >> There you go. >> [clears throat] >> I need you to call my husband right now. >> All right. Please sit in the car. >> No. You need to take this off. >> ma'am. You're under arrest. Ma'am. Hey, Lat. We're going to have to. I don't want to. Come on. >> Get in the car. >> Stay there, don't move. >> Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this? >> Yeah, we're going >> You guys are [ __ ] kidding Second of all, you're now you're making up words for yourself because nobody understands what the [ __ ] you are doing. I'm from California. We don't do things like this out here. You people are [ __ ] Literally, this is painful. I will not [ __ ] run away, but you need to like loosen this [ __ ] up. >> I'll fix them if you twist to the side. As in look at that to where turn your hands this way and I'll fix them, but you're not going to come out. And as an adult, you use your mouth and you ask. You don't kick stuff. >> Oh, like we're [ __ ] paying attention. >> You don't kick stuff. >> You guys were all talking. >> So put your foot back in. >> So if you if you take this off, what would you like us to do? >> I would like for you to take these off of my [ __ ] arms. >> Okay. So can you say please? >> Can you [ __ ] pay attention? I was literally knocking nicely. >> it done or not? >> Yes. >> So where when am I going to hear please? >> Are you [ __ ] serious right now? >> I don't have to do [ __ ] right now. Do you want them or not? >> no, you don't. You don't. >> Okay, so they'll stay like that until you decide to say please. If you want to say please or calm yourself down, take some deep breaths. It is what it is right now. But if that's how you want to act, then we're not changing them. We're not changing them for somebody who's being combative. >> Maybe you should call >> You know, an arrest? >> For being a dick. >> Hey, so the cuffs I can put two fingers through. >> being [clears throat] a dick right now with cuffs. >> If I'm being a dick, what are you being? >> I'm not You're not the one in trouble. >> I know I'm not the one in trouble. So, if you don't want to talk, don't talk. But, your cuffs are fine. And you're going to get You're going to get checked out. We're going to handle business, and we're going to move on. And you can do whatever you need to do after that about this. But, kicking like a child is not going to help. >> Yeah. Well, maybe you could just [ __ ] let these go. I I >> No, they're not coming off. >> Okay, well, I'm 6 miles from my [ __ ] house. >> All right. >> I can walk there, for Christ's sake. >> All right. >> If that's what you guys are [ __ ] doing it >> To stop her from leaving, >> [music] >> officers handcuff her to the hospital bed, and that's when a DUI becomes something far more serious. According to the report, she tries to punch an officer, and then kicks one in the neck. Think about [music] that. She's already facing a DUI. She's cuffed to a bed. And in that moment, she commits a brand new crime against [music] the very people who are legally required to keep her safe. When it's all over, Sara Noboa isn't just charged [music] with driving under the influence. She's facing two counts of DUI with property damage, resisting without violence, >> [music] >> and the big ones, two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, third-degree felonies. [music] >> I'm reporting. >> No. >> Ma'am, get out of the car. Ma'am. Ma'am. >> hurt yourself doing that. Stop. >> Ma'am, stop. >> No. You need to get to work, okay? >> Get the cuffs >> off. [ __ ] YOU! >> 54 >> [ __ ] YOU! YOU GUYS LET ME GO HOME. >> That's not happening. Yep, put it in and slide it one way or the other. >> No, I got it. All right, we're good. >> Ma'am >> Hey, in the trunk, hit the trunk button. Yep, there's going to be like a helmet in the trunk. You got one? Okay. >> Can you Can you stop? Get off of me, now. You stupid [ __ ] [ __ ] you >> Ma'am, sit up. Ma'am, sit up. >> No. >> No. Nicole, can you pull that top part down? That's top work. All right, ma'am, let's go in the car. No, I was waving at nosy ass. All right. Want to grab that >> cup first. >> Ma'am, do you want to get in the car like an adult or not? >> You want to [ __ ] [ __ ] off? [ __ ] YOU! >> PUT HER IN THE CAR. >> [ __ ] you! [ __ ] you! >> PUT HER IN THE CAR. THAT'S IT. >> [ __ ] YOU! >> YOU close your eyes at the same time. >> No! Whenever you're ready. What side do you want on? I don't care. I was going to use seat belt. Cool. >> Jason, I already have those things for the legs. That can't be right. >> Are you loving your life right now or having, you know, hanging out with these dudes? They don't give a [ __ ] about you. They don't give a [ __ ] about you. >> I don't have an Uncle Tom. >> Well, they don't give a [ __ ] about you. >> Either one of them? >> Especially you. I think I have those soft >> It worked. It didn't hurt. >> the soft ones where you put it to the front. >> All right. >> No, he's a [ __ ] hero. He's a [ __ ] hero for [ __ ] being here. You guys are the worst. >> Is the AC on for you? >> Yeah, I turned it up higher. >> Yeah, I can feel it. >> Hey, take it off my face or else I'm going to take off >> Or else nothing. We're not taking it off your face cuz you're smacking all around. We don't want you to hurt yourself. >> second set. >> Yeah. >> I got handcuffs. >> Here. Here. Use these. And we'll get those. [ __ ] off. >> Hey. >> Get off OF ME. GET OFF OF ME. DON'T KICK HIM. GET OFF OF ME. GET OFF. GET OFF. GET OFF. YOU [ __ ] KNOCK IT OFF. YOU THINK I don't know who you are? >> Great. >> I mean, I wish >> Who did Why did you shove me in here? >> You just shoved me in here. >> Where's home? Where's home? Okay. >> All right, cool. >> Where's home? >> Thank god. >> Who are you? >> MacLeod boy. >> MacLeod boy. >> Do you have your handcuffs on? >> MacLeod boy. Okay. >> Very good. >> Okay. Sweet. >> Hey, man, stop fooling around. >> You know what? If you just [ __ ] let me off >> Ooh. Where's the >> What are you are you doing, ma'am? >> I'm trying to get these [ __ ] things off me. >> They're not coming off. >> Okay, well >> They're not coming off, but if you would relax, we would get you somewhere where they will take them off. >> Okay, well, I'm not >> They can't come off in the back of the car. >> Okay, well, they have to because >> They're not. >> Okay, well, I can't breathe. It is way too tight. >> All right. >> I'm fine. I can't relax. I can't relax. I CAN'T RELAX. >> [screaming] >> I CAN'T RELAX. >> I CAN'T. YOU HAVE TO GET THEM OFF. YOU HAVE TO GET them off. I can't. >> I can't. >> I can't. I can't. I can't. I can't. HELP ME. HELP ME. >> HEY. BREATHE. BREATHE. >> NO. HELP ME. >> BREATHE. >> [ __ ] Get these off me. Ow. >> Let me see what I have. >> The crash was almost [music] the least of her problems. And here's the part worth sitting with. The DUI. She might have talked [music] down, but everything after the red light, the refusal, the fighting, the kick, that was all [music] choice, all on camera, and all after the crash was already over. She didn't get charged for one bad decision. She got charged for a whole chain of them. So, here's my question for you. At what point does an accident [music] stop being an accident and start being a decision? Because a crash can happen to anyone, but going [music] limp, refusing, swinging, kicking a cop in the neck from a hospital [music] bed? Where do you draw that line? Tell me in the comments and be honest about it. If you want more real arrests broken down start to finish, [music] hit subscribe and the bell. New case every week.
