raising my hand and signing things when I feel like it's just putting me in worse positions. >> Okay, I understand completely. Do you swear the information you provided me is true and correct for the best of your knowledge? >> After if I say something, are you going to put my hands back and take me to jail afterwards? >> I'm not. I'm I'm asking you if you're telling the truth. >> Yes. >> Okay. Everything you said to me is the truth. Yes. You swear everything is the truth? Yes. I think that the gun was under the drawer, under the stove, but I'm not completely positive where it was at before it happened. >> Okay. >> Yes. Now, I completely swear that everything I've told you it's true. >> And now the interrogation begins as detectives start digging into her story. >> Update. Um, listen, before we do anything else, I got to read this to you. We read it to everybody before we start. Okay. Um, you have the right to remain silent. Let me just ask you a couple questions about um you that's your trailer. >> Yes, I'm camper. >> Okay. How long have you lived here? >> Since October 5th. No, no, no. I'm tripping. O um October 9th. November like November 5th. I paid the second month's rent. December 1st. >> Do you just play lot pay lot rent because it belongs to you or cuz you >> It does not belong to me. Oh, it doesn't. >> No. I pay $300 a month for lights, water, and basically the building itself. >> The the trailer itself. >> Who does it belong to? You know, >> it's >> I mean, is it is it a like a landlord that owns the whole area there? >> Yeah. >> Oh, okay. And you live that you've been living there since November. >> Mhm. >> She said she woke up and he was already on the floor, 16 years old, bleeding out inside her trailer. She heard nothing all night. Slept right through a gunshot just 6 ft from her head. Then the detective asked her one simple question. If you didn't know he'd been shot, why was the shell casing hiding inside your cigarette >> to get caught? Right. So, you saw the gun, didn't realize that it was a head a head wound from a gunshot. >> Uh, you picked the gun up. Is this correct? Okay. And then what else? What happened after that? You said you picked the what? Money up. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Then what'd you do with those? >> Put them in the purse with everything else I was taking. Okay. And then what'd you tell me about his pockets? >> I don't remember when that was, but I had like maybe I was checking for a charger for his phone, but I was trying to see like what was going on. Like I don't know, just to try to find some insight. I if that makes any sense. I mean, obviously none of this makes any sense. Not to me anyways. Well, the the the the thing that I keep getting stuck on more than anything else is the is picking up the gun and the money and going through his pockets and then putting all that in your purse and putting it in your car doesn't make sense. You know, the the rest of it what you said >> I was checking his I checked his pockets to see like if there was anything that would give me any clues to what the [ __ ] was going on there. And like literally >> And you're saying that the gun didn't give you a clue? Not really because like I've his brother kicked down my door with four guns. Like what do you mean? I >> I mean that you got you got somebody laying there with a with a wound, a very serious wound. >> Okay. >> And he's bleeding profusely. >> He's incoherent. You're not able to wake him up and there's a gun next to him. >> He was breathing. That's why I didn't understand. Like I don't I don't >> totally get that. But but you you you told me that he never showed you the gun earlier in the night, right? No. >> Okay. Not earlier in the night. No, he didn't. >> Okay. Did he show it to you? >> He showed me in the past, but like not >> Okay. Well, tell me when Tell me when because that's something that I didn't know. Tell me when when he showed the gun to you. >> Like two weeks ago or something like that. He asked me if I remember that being a gun being involved in the home invasion. >> Okay. Where did he bring it to? >> Nowhere. It was when we were sitting in his yard. >> Okay. He brought it out from the house. Out from inside the house. >> Yes. >> Okay. And he showed it to you and he said, "Is this the gun? Does this look like the gun that was used?" cuz it looked like one of them. >> What did you tell him? >> Told him I don't know. No, I don't know. >> Okay. And you think that was the same gun that you saw this morning? >> Yes. [clears throat] >> Looked like exactly the same gun? >> Yes. >> Okay. And you don't remember seeing it last night? >> No. >> You didn't make any mention of it last night? >> No, you didn't. >> Okay. Can you tell me any reason that you >> Oh, wait. And you know, I told you his book bag was in my car. It's in my house. >> Is it? >> Yes. >> Okay. Can you tell me any reason that you can think of why he would have done this? >> No, not really. >> Okay. >> I mean, I know he has anxiety. I know he has depression, but I don't >> looking at looking at this from my standpoint, right? Looking at it from where I'm sitting. Okay. If I look at that and I go, okay, he had a gunshot wounded head. Just just hear me out. He had a gunshot wounded head, right? He's he's bleeding. He's laying on the floor floor bleeding, right? Okay. Um I see money next to his head. Fake money. I see a gun next to his body. Okay. And I see him bleeding profusely. Trying to wake him up. Can't wake him up. Still, I'm not thinking that this is gunshot. Still not thinking it's a gunshot. However, I pick the gun up, put it in my purse along with the money and then whatever's in his pockets. >> No, nothing from his pockets. >> Nothing from his pockets. But I do go in his pockets. put put what I had in the gun in the purse and then take the purse and put it in the car because I'm getting ready to leave to go to the store to get a card for my phone. Okay. Does any of that make sense to you? >> Sort of, but not. I mean, kind of a little bit, but I don't know. Probably not fully. But like, what do you do in a situation like this when you've never been in and none of it makes sense? Well, you've been >> Cuz honestly, what I thought happened is I thought somebody like came in like I thought that like everything that I've been fearing that's what you thought I told you I was scared that's why he was there. Thought everything I was fearing of people coming back happened. >> And why'd you hide the gun? >> Because it's still like he's still not allowed to have it. I didn't want either either of us to get in trouble when like he's already hurt. Like I think that needed to be the aim of concern. >> You didn't call the police, did you? You called the EMS, right? Yes. >> When you call the MS, what did you tell him? Did you tell him it was a gunshot wound? >> No, I didn't. I told him that my friend was hurt. I woke up and he won't wake up and he's bleeding. >> Okay. So then >> can't you get that record? >> No, I can't. But that's So you told him that your friend was hurt and he was bleeding, right? You didn't ask for police. And if you didn't think this was a gunshot, then why would you think police would show up and you'd have to hide the gun? There wouldn't be any reason for you to hide the gun. >> Well, if they just saw it, then yeah, I think so. And I saw the money by his head and I don't understand. This just doesn't make sense. I'm trying to make it make sense as much as you are. So please help help me if you do. I don't get this. But like see see how I was trying. You say I was trying to put the gun or like put the gun away so nobody would get in trouble, but I still got put in handcuffs in the back of a car and like I was trying to help the situation. Only reason we do that when we transport you is because it's policy. It has you're you are under arrest. Okay. >> It feels like I am. You'll have me in a marshmallow suit. >> Do you know why we have you in a marshmallow suit? >> No. >> Because you had blood on your clothes. That's all. You had >> blood on my clothes. >> You had some blood on your hands. >> Yeah. And I Why didn't you check my hands for gun residue? Because that blood was from the inside of my body. Like I've said, I was on my period when I woke up. I did this cuz I didn't understand why it was wet and there was blood everywhere. >> That makes sense. >> Well, I mean, that's kind of embarrassing to tell someone. >> By this point, the detective has heard the same story from several different angles. But instead of moving on, keeps returning to the details around the gun and what happened before the 911 call. The more specific the questions become, the more Christian has to explain what >> she told me and it makes sense, right? Okay. But when you when we when we go through this, >> that's also why I put Okay, I'm sorry. Finish this off. But I had on those shorts. Um when I woke up, I had on black Adidas pants that are in my house, >> right? >> Okay. And you changed into shorts? >> Yep. Cuz my pants were covered in blood >> from you. >> From me? Yes. >> Okay. Last night or today? >> Well, from having the same protectant [ __ ] in from 7:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m. until this morning. >> Okay. Did you guys have sex last night? >> No, we did not. We have never had sex ever. >> Okay. >> I'm just saying the reason I'm asking is because you know you guys you said that you were concerned that he was 16 and you were 18. So I was curious if you if you guys may have had sex last night. >> Were you drinking last night? >> No. >> Just smoking weed. How much did you smoke? >> Just a blunt. I don't really smoke weed though. So >> just one blunt. >> Yes. >> Big one. Little one. >> Fatty? >> Like a gram? >> Nothing exciting. I mean, I feel like that's a good point. That's a big blunt, you know. >> Well, so it puts you to sleep. >> Yeah. >> You usually sleep that long when you smoke a blunt? I >> usually don't smoke blunts, but I feel I slept so long from not sleeping the night before. >> So, so you were tired? >> Okay. >> Extremely. >> And he gave you no indications or reasons why he would have done this other than that he was upset because his b his brother thought he was a snitch. >> Not really. No. But he he talked about being stressed out about his exams. Um he's always like a stressed out person though. Like he's always stressed out. He's always kind of sad. Just overall feel like that's why we got along really well cuz I just don't understand the point of life. And like he kind of says the same thing. like he just doesn't understand why he's here and I don't either. I don't know. Like I just don't get any of this. But I wasn't specifically talking about it last night. I'm sorry. >> Not to hurt himself. >> No, not to hurt himself. >> Well, you know, when you I guess when the when the EMS guys got there, right? And um when you were telling them that the gun was in the car, right? Um you asked them if you could get a cigarette, right? And then you tried to get back into the car and the EMS guys didn't want you to get back into the car. >> Mhm. Mh. But you still tried to get back in there and you kind of wrestled with them a little bit trying. >> Yeah, cuz I wanted to grab my box of cigarettes that was right. There weren't even one box. It was two box of cigarettes, >> right? And you wanted to get back in there, but they didn't want you back in there. >> Yes. >> Okay. So, you were trying to get to the cigarettes. >> Yes. Very much so. Because I'm stressed the [ __ ] out and I need a goddamn cigarette. Sorry for that like extreme profanity, but all morning I was just trying to get a freaking cigarette. And I asked like 12 different cops, pissed them all off. They all told me, "Hold on." And then they walk away. Nobody would even say no. I would have rather just got told no. Sorry to be frustrating and I know I'm annoying you too at this point probably. >> You are not. You are not. So you tried to get back into the car to get the cigarettes and you had to tussle with the EMT guy and he would let you back in there >> basically. But I tussled with him because I said please will you just get me the cigarette then? He said no. I said please just get me the cigarettes. He said no. So I tried to like and get him cuz I just wanted to smoke a [ __ ] cigarette. I thought if I grabbed him, I would have been able to smoke one. He probably would soak him back away from me. I just really want a cigarette. >> Bad for you. Stunt your growth. >> I'm already 5 foot tall. >> All right. So, the gun was in the car inside your bag, right? >> Yep. >> Did the gun have blood on it? >> No, I don't think so. Did it? I'm asking you what you remember, huh? >> No, I don't think so. >> You don't think it did? >> No. >> Okay. >> I don't No, I don't think so. >> Okay. Did you wrap it in anything when you put it in your purse or you just put it in your purse? >> No, I just threw it in my purse, I think. I'm pretty like damn positive. I just threw it in there. >> Do you need any more water? Mm- >> Anything else? A cigarette? Give me a minute. >> For real. >> SIT DOWN. >> NO, YOU'RE just like this what everyone else does. >> I'm not everyone else. Give me a minute. All right. >> Oh my goodness. This is the part I hate. God, I hate being by myself in here. >> I got to give you some bad news. >> Okay. >> Okay. I want you to I want you to understand that it's it's difficult for us to say this stuff, too. But he's he's probably not going to make it. >> No. No. >> Listen to me. I have I have to tell you. Okay. I have to tell you. Okay. Right now, they're they're they're going to be his parents are up at the hospital right now. Okay. Up until now, Christian has been answering questions about what she believes happened. Then the detectives give her news she wasn't expecting. Dakota isn't recovering, and the situation is far more serious than she thought. But this isn't the end of the interrogation. >> Double listening. I'm sorry. >> It's okay. There's nothing for you to be sorry about. >> There's nothing for you to be sorry about. [snorts] >> What is Please continue. >> Okay. He doesn't the reason the he's he's actually on on a ventilator right now and um he doesn't have brain function. So the parents are having to decide what they're going to do next. Okay. So that's where it's at. And I told you I wouldn't lie to you, right? But I'm trying I want to make sure that I'm that you understand that I'm always going to tell you the truth. Okay. Okay. No. Why? >> All right. This is the same thing as we had before before we talked to you. It's the same thing we always do. Um, you have the right to remain silent. If you give up the right to remain silent, anything you say can be used as evidence against you in court. You have the right to have lawyer present while being in question. Okay. Here's here's the thing that here's some things that we're going to talk about. Um cuz it's been what has it been about a week now? Week and a half. >> Um I remember some of the things since you it's you're at a little distance from it now. Can you give me um kind of a rehashing of what what you remember? >> Same thing. >> Okay. Well, just tell me what you remember because a lot of times when you get a little further away, you remember a little better. Not really. I'm just trying to block it out cuz it hurts. But I don't know. I tried to pick the car, pick the goat up. We went to Popeye's. We went to Ali's. We went back to my house. Um, we tried to clean my house. We popped the air mattress. We were chilling on the bed. I had asked him to message Josh so I could I needed something from Josh. need him to sign the title of my car [snorts] and I went to sleep and basically like when I woke up Dakota was laying on the ground and I tried to wake him up cuz I thought he got his ass beat and it was by Billy and that's not what it was. >> Did Billy come over while you guys were not at all. >> Okay. So you two you two were the only two in there. >> Yeah. And I just Yeah. Get it. >> Okay. And then what happened? just woke up within like that. You said you went to sleep at what time was it? Do you remember? >> No, I don't even remember anymore. >> Okay. Cuz you said I think you told me before it was like 7:00 at night around there and then you woke up the next day. About what time? Can't remember. >> I don't know. Um right before I called. >> Right before you called me. Okay. or before you called the EMS. Okay. What happened after you called the EMS? >> I stayed on the phone till they showed up. >> Who did you call? How'd you call EMS? >> My phone. >> On your phone. Okay. >> I don't have service. I just called 911. >> Okay. So, you just called 911. Okay. And then um while while you're waiting for EMS, what are you doing? Just trying to give him aid or what were you doing? Yeah, they they told me to do something. I don't know. I don't remember exactly how it was said, but it was to check his breathing. >> Okay. And then >> did it twice. >> Okay. And then what else? >> That was it. They got there within like 2 3 minutes of being on the phone. >> Okay. What did you tell me about the gun? Do you remember? >> What about it? >> I mean, you said, do you remember what you told me about picking it up? >> That I moved it? >> Mhm. short. Yeah. >> Okay. And you What did you do with it? >> Threw it in a bag. >> And then what did you do with the bag? >> Threw the bag in my car. >> Okay. Um and while this this is what while you're waiting for EMS to get there. >> I don't remember. >> You don't remember? Okay. All right. So, here's what I want to do. All right. Before Before we go any further, you and I talked before, right? And I I told you how important it was that you that you're honest, right? Because honesty is is what uh what's going to make the difference, right? For me, for you, for everybody, right? >> So, here's the thing, okay? I'm going to I'm going to talk to you about some things that I know that you weren't quite honest with me about, okay? And I'm going to give you an opportunity to clear the clear things up a [snorts] little bit. And then I'm going to tell you some things that I've learned. um Dakota pass on Christmas day. Okay. They declared him gone on Christmas day and then they harvested his organs very shortly after that. Okay. Now I have I have been to the autopsy and spoken to the med medical examiner. Okay. And the way it stands right now just so you're aware of it. Okay. the way that the medical examiner med medical examiner has has determined preliminarily, in other words, just a preliminary determination was that that this was most likely not self-inflicted. Okay. So, they're saying that that the way that the way that the wound was and the distance from where the gunshot was taken to the wound, it would make it near impossible for it to be self-inflicted. Okay, now that's the one thing. Now, the other thing is that you were telling me that Dakota brought that gun over to you. Remember, remember when you told me that you said that Dakota brought the gun over. Okay? And that part that part I know is not true. Okay? I didn't know that then, but I do know now that that's not true. I know that that that gun was yours. Okay? I know this and I know this from a lot of different sources, not just one place. Okay? And I know I understand that you that you got robbed. All right. And from what I understand and what I have spoken to several people about is the reason that you got that gun was because you were scared. >> And I got that. Totally [snorts] get it. It makes a lot of sense to me, doesn't it? >> Doesn't make a lot of sense to me is the fact that you're saying that Dakota was like it was >> When Christian comes back for the second interview, the detectives aren't starting from zero. They've had time to investigate, compare statements, and examine the evidence. Now, they're going to tell her what they've learned and give her another chance to explain herself. >> Self-inflicted makes it seem just going to >> No, that's not me. What I'm saying is I'm telling you what I was told. Okay? So, that's where we're that's where I'm at with that part of it. I just want you to know what I know. Okay? So now, like I said about the gun, I already know that that gun was purchased from a black market source. Okay? And I know this because I've spoken to people about [snorts] this. Okay? So that was one thing that you were dishonest with me about. Okay? So I want you I'm giving you the opportunity to clear it up. Now, if you bought that because you were afraid, then that's what you that's what you tell me if that's what you want to say. Okay? But the gun in itself, okay, you know that I I'm not I'm not sure why you felt felt the need not to tell me the truth about that. [snorts] You know, >> how does anybody in the building have a lighter? Is there any ability that I could smoke a cigarette just and breathe for a second? >> As soon as we get done, I'll take you down and you can smoke one. Okay. >> Well, I wish I knew that before. I'm just like freaking out right now from the ability like just the the fact of you the what the fault. >> So here's my question to you, okay? [snorts] Why did you feel the need to me to have to lie to me about the gun? Because what you told me was that the gun was Dakota's and I know it wasn't. Okay. So why did you have to lie to me about the gun? Why did you feel the need to do that? Because I feel like the tendency of the law enforcement system, people end up sometimes getting a shitty hand. And I felt like I was going to get a hand of being end up like getting charged for somehow her killing I guess at this point killing Dakota or shooting Dakota or doing something to Dakota. [snorts] And that's exactly what it sounds like. Now >> I doesn't sound like anything. All we're doing is talking. Correct. Okay. That's all we're doing. We're just talking. Okay. So, when we talk about that gun, okay, do you do you remember who you purchased it from? I'll make it easier for you. How much was it? Do you remember how much you paid for it? [snorts] >> Why? I'm just wondering. I >> Because I because because that gun is important. Okay. For one thing, it's stolen. >> [snorts] >> Okay. So, I'm trying to get it back to the owner for one thing. Okay. And once I get it back to the owner, you know, that's going to be good for the owner. Correct. >> It's good for the owner. >> Do you remember how much you paid for it? >> 600. >> 600. Okay. 600 bucks. Okay. And the reason why some of these questions are asked is [snorts] because we know the answer to some of these now and is seeing if you're going to be honest about it because he's not coming back, you know. So, we have to work this and do what we have to do because I can tell it's eating you alive. So, now's the time to be honest with the questions that he asked you. And if I were [ __ ] [snorts] around and playing with it or whatever and it went off or whatever, no, >> so be it. I'm just saying if that is what happened, now's the time to be honest about everything. You're a young lady. >> You know, >> I'm a young lady that's probably going to spend the rest of my life in jail for something I didn't do. >> We're not in the business of putting people in jail for doing stuff they didn't do. We're in the business of getting them to the bottom of things and the truth and then the chips fall where they may. But things that you when you start off with a lie, you have to tell another lie [snorts] to cover that up. And it just snowballs and snowballs. The truth never changes. >> And see, that's when when we talked at the very beginning of this and I was, you know, we were we established some sort of rapport. I was very honest with you, was I not? >> I was very scared of you. >> Right. But do you remember at the end of it? You weren't at the end, right? And I What did I tell you? You asked me You asked me at the very beginning of it, you said, "Am I going to jail today?" And I said, "No." and [snorts] you went home. I was very honest with you. So, you know, I expected you to be honest with me at that point. So, it it kind of concerns me that you weren't. Okay. >> I'm sorry. And I was scared just like I feel like I am right now. >> Well, I understand. I understand that part. >> But the truth doesn't change. You know what I'm saying? [snorts] >> You know, and for the sake of everybody concerned in this in this thing, everybody, us, you, Dakota's family, everybody, what we're trying to find out is we want we want the whole story. Okay? Because when the whole story is told, everybody everybody knows it and everybody feels better about it, including you. Okay? Including you. >> Cuz now I have people telling me that uh they better I better go to jail for the rest of my life. And if I don't, I'm going to wish I would have. >> Well, we'll talk about that. >> And that's people in his family. >> I understand. We'll talk about that. But regardless of what what anybody says to you at this point, what what's most important what's most important is to get the story told, okay? And to be honest about it, okay? To get the story told and to be honest about it, okay? Because this right here, this is something that sits on your back and it and it makes it difficult to just even go through life because you can't >> I don't want to go through life again. Well, >> I'm sorry. I'm not trying to cut you off. I just need to shut up and listen. >> Okay. It's all right. You're doing fine. All right. So, you bought it for $600. Do you remember who you bought it from? >> The I don't know this kid's name. >> You can't remember. Did he come to your trailer or did you go just get it from him or >> Walmart? >> You met him at Walmart? Okay. Who did you Who did you Who did you talk to to meet him? >> [sighs] >> Why Why do you have to use names when I when you get told things? >> Okay. So, >> like if I tell you who was there, why do you have to go tell them? >> I'm not going to tell anybody. [snorts] It's not telling anybody anything, but if we can't put a name of where I mean, that's what people think when come in here that we're going to go out and anything we learn, we're going to say you said that she told us this and she said you and she said that. This is a whole big investigation and there's been numerous people talking everywhere. So, we don't why would we burn up? We would never be success successful at our job if we did that. >> These people are just I don't Will Johnson. >> Will Johnson? That's who got you to the black guy? >> Yeah. >> Okay. How do you know Will? You guys friends? >> I'm supposed to be friends with Cindy. >> How old is he? >> You already know this. >> Is this the guy that you talked to me about already? >> No, I just know that you know this cuz Josh said something about it. Josh said that you asked him if I knew Will and Sydney. [snorts] >> I don't remember saying that to Josh. >> Oh, well, Josh is just making up [ __ ] then. >> It's entirely possible. I don't remember. I thought you told me about Will Johnson before when we talked. >> Never. >> Okay. [snorts] Well, it's a very common name. And that's why I was asking you how old he was cuz >> uh I don't know. I think he's like 22. >> 22. >> Is he white or black? >> He's white. >> Okay. You remember what day you bought it? Not at all. >> Okay. >> It's been a while. >> It has. >> The detective now goes back through what Christian says she put in the bag. The gun isn't the only thing. There was also money near Dakota. And when he's asked where it came from, her first answer doesn't tell the whole story. Then she finally gives him a name. Um, so when you when you told me uh that you picked the gun up, right, and you put it in the your purse or the bag, right? Did you put anything else in the bag? >> Money. >> Money. The counterfeit money. >> Yeah. >> Where was that from? >> Uh, the ground. >> Ground near Dakota. >> It was just on the ground. >> Mhm. >> You have no idea where that came from, huh? be straight now. >> Um >> because because I because this is this is part of the being honest part. Okay. Be [snorts] straight. >> Somebody gave it to me cuz I let them borrow real money and then they couldn't give the real money. They didn't have the real money to give it back. >> Do you remember who gave it to me? >> Kyle. Kyle. What's his last name? >> That one I don't know. >> Okay. Just Kyle. It's a white male. >> Yeah. >> How old is he? >> Like 25. >> 25. Okay. So, he gave you gave it to you to hold while you had you took the real money. >> No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. >> Vice versa. >> He borrowed real money from me and then he lost it and then he gave me that cuz that was all he had. I didn't know at first. Once I knew, I just said whatever. Kept it cuz I'm not the person to give it to anyone. >> Okay. All right. Did you put anything else in the bag other than that? >> I [snorts] don't recall. >> I'm sorry. >> I don't I don't recall. >> Okay. >> I don't think so. Um, my cigarettes probably lighter. My ID maybe. My ID was in my car for sure. Um, >> let me ask you this. Why did you pick the shell casing up? >> What is that? [snorts] Is that the hollow thing? >> Mhm. >> That's in my trunk. I didn't know what that was at first. >> Know the bullet that you put at the bottom the shell case and that you put them at the put at the bottom of the cigarette case on >> bottom of the cigarette case. >> Yeah. Your cigarette case. >> It wasn't in the cigarette case. It was in a box. No, it was in a cigarette case. It's the shell casing from the round that shot Dakota. >> No, I like specifically remembered it was a box in the trunk. >> No, it's it was in it was in your cigarette pack and it was s it was sitting on your center console in your vehicle. >> Okay. >> So, that's why I was asking you why you why you put it in there >> cuz you told me before that you know that the the reason that you put the the gun in your purse. >> Yeah. because and then whenever I all all I 100% know is that I had picked it up and I had I don't like I feel like something clicked and I like thought about it but like I didn't want to believe that that was what it was but like >> So well I mean when you picked the shell casing up and you put it in the cigarette pack were you doing that for the same reason? No, because I wasn't I don't know exactly what my room was, [snorts] but I'm trying to [ __ ] think because I feel like this [ __ ] doesn't look good, but I'd rather like think hard about it and look stupid and be able to tell you the truth than [ __ ] get [ __ ] up in my head and then [ __ ] up in life. Um, no. I'm pretty sure like I picked it up and I was like, "No, this it's not possible." And I just like I think I threw it in this I don't know. I really don't know. I wish I could like >> You picked it up and along with the gun or >> No, I don't like I don't know. And I'm trying to like just fill in blanks with like possibilities, but that's not going to be good. >> No, you want you really you really want to think about it. Okay. And you really, the reason I'm saying this to you and you, the reason you're in here talking to us is because I I'm giving you an opportunity to clarify, okay? To clarify why you did certain things, why you made the choices that you made, okay? So, explain to me why you made the choices that you made, and that will help me understand why it was that that was at the bottom of that cigarette pack. Okay? Cuz that's that was something that you chose to do. >> I don't believe that it was at the bottom of the cigarette pack, and that's why I'm getting frantic. >> It was. >> Do you need to see a picture of it? >> No. I mean, it was it was at the >> Did your woman get angry, too? >> No, I'm not. >> No, he's not angry at you. We're just It was It was in the cigarette pack. And that's why I'm that's why I'm I'm I'm asking you to be honest about it because the only person that could have put it in that cigarette pack was you. It was your cigarettes. Okay. And I know you were trying to get to your cigarette pack because you needed to smoke. Okay. But it also >> You think it's cuz I wanted the [ __ ] >> Well, I don't know. You know what I'm That's why I'm asking you why you put it in there. My thing is is >> I mean why why did you put the gun Why did you put the gun in the uh in the uh thing >> in the bag? [clears throat] Why did you pick it up and put it in the bag? >> Cuz I didn't think it was a gunshot wound. >> Why did you pick it up and put it in the bag though? I mean, you put it in the bag and then you put the bag in the car. Why did you do that? >> Because I didn't think it was part going to be part in helping Dakota. >> What is it? What would it have to do with Dakota? >> Because if he was there and he was hurt from getting his ass beat, nothing else that was there would have any part in helping him. I'm I don't >> Well, I mean, it's your gun, you know. I mean, it was your It was your firearm. It wasn't Dotas. You know, you know, you're the one that purchased it. You were the one who asked somebody to buy rounds for you. 9 mm rounds. Okay. And I know about that. I spoke to him the other day. >> Okay. >> So, I know I know that you did that. That's why I'm asking you I'm asking you to clarify for me why it is you did that. Were I mean, were you afraid you were going to get in trouble? >> What? >> With the gun? >> Yes. >> Okay. That's why you put the gun in the bag and the gun in the bag in the car. >> Yes. And I didn't think the gun was part of >> Okay. And as far as the the shell casing, why did you do that? >> I don't really know. I really feel like I picked it up and Have you ever seen something and you didn't like you get a phone call that your mom is dead, you don't want to believe it, so you just deny it? I took glue up and I thought it was like I'm like this it like I had the thought run through my head that it was a showcasing but I didn't want to believe it and I just I don't know >> just stuck it in the cigarette pack because >> I guess so because I picked it up and the cigarette pack was already in my hand. I don't have a logical explanation for it and I don't really understand and I wish I did because I want everything to make sense and add up so where y'all can figure out that I didn't do probably what y'all are going to end up thinking I did. Well, [snorts] here's here's here's part of what I what I've done over the last couple of days or whatever because I haven't had a lot of time like I told you. Okay, so this is this is some of the things that I' that I've I've learned. Okay, the 9 mm shell that's fired, okay, that was fired inside your trailer um was uh capable of 160 dB. Okay, >> I don't know what that means. >> That means if you listen to the space shuttle launch, the rocket launch of the space shuttle, that's how loud that is. So, how did I not wake up? So, and I feel like you're going to ask me that cuz I don't understand. >> Well, that's why I'm I'm bringing that up, okay? Because with with as loud as that is with as loud as that is, okay, it would be very unlikely that being in such a small area that you would be able to remain asleep during that kind of noise. Even being a deep sleeper, that that that noise is is unbelievably loud. Unbeliev your trailer. >> A [ __ ] lie detector test or something cuz I'm not trying to go to jail for murder. >> I'm not Listen, Neilie. I'm not I'm ask All we're doing is talking right now. Okay. Okay. Nobody has said anything about anything else other than that we're talking. We're trying to figure things out. >> But you've said things like it's very unlikely that Dakota committed suicide. And you >> I'm telling you what somebody told me. Okay. Okay. That's all I'm telling you is what somebody told me. All right. That's all. Okay. Now, when it comes to um the things at the seam, okay, the [snorts] Clorox wipes were used, okay, to clean up to clean up the area a little bit. All right. And I don't know whether whether you know that you put them in the trash and they had blood on them, okay? So, they were used to wipe. >> It's going to look worse and worse. And I don't like the way some of this is sounding. >> Well, the the reason I'm telling you this is because these things I found out after you and I talked. So, I'm letting you know where I'm at. Okay. This is where I'm at. I just want you to explain it to me. Do you remember doing that? >> Never. Not at all. >> You don't remember cleaning those things up? You don't remember using Clorox wipes to wipe anything? >> No. What did I supposedly wipe? >> I don't know. It had blood that had blood on them. I don't know. I don't know if you if you wiped >> Did y'all run the uh things on my clothes and my sheets for the blood? because there was blood that had came out of my body that was on my sheets and on my clothes. And it was >> some of the some of the stuff that was on the on the walls inside the inside your trailer had some smear marks like they had been wiped. And then there were also some some Clorox wipes that were in the trash can. So that's why I'm I'm trying to figure out, you know, what the what goes behind doing that. You know, why did you do that? Why did you wipe those things? Or why did you you know, I mean, were you trying be because things happen. Okay. When you're when you're in a stressful situation, you do things that you wouldn't normally do. Understand? Right. So, that's why I'm trying to figure it out. [snorts] So, do you do you can you tell me why? >> No, because I did not do that. I did not I don't know. I don't The Clorox wipes wiping things I did not do. >> Okay. Well, I mean, they were your Clorox wipes. >> But the most difficult piece of evidence isn't the money. It's the shell casing. Christian had already admitted moving the gun, but now detectives are asking why a casing connected to the shooting ended up inside her cigarette pack, and her explanation is about to get very difficult to defend. >> They were in your trailer. I mean, you had a you had a full thing of them or a half full thing of them or whatever that was in there, and there were some that were used, and they had blood on them that were in the trash can. Do >> you have pictures of that then? >> Yeah, I have pictures of it. Yeah, I got pictures of all that stuff. That's >> I don't remember that. And I like I don't I mean I I'm at this point where I have no reason to lie to you because if I lie to you, I just look even worse. And if I don't lie to you, maybe you'll somehow freaking figure out how to [ __ ] help me, too. To where I don't go like do time for something I didn't do. So, I'm trying to give you full cooperation and understanding. >> I know. Which is why which is why I'm continuing to talk to you. >> Do you remember what else you put in the purse other than those things? >> No. >> Okay. Okay. you had you had several several carts in your purse. Okay? And I think you're aware of that. All right? I already talked to people and they know that you sell. Okay? I know that you're in the game. All right? So, let's not try and get to the point where we're saying, "Okay, well, I don't." >> Those were in a Nike book bag. >> Okay. And they were in your in the Nike book bag. Is what you're talking about? >> Yep. >> Okay. And there was some flour in there, too. A little bit of cocaine. >> Don't think cocaine, but >> a little tiny bit. >> Okay. [snorts] >> See, I can see the smile. There's a little bit of a smirk there. Smile. >> Okay. How long have you been selling? The reason I'm asking this is because it may have something to do with what happened to Dakota. Okay. So, I'm asking, how long have you been selling? >> See, >> how long have you been selling? for a long time or just for >> Josh something that started with Josh. >> You started selling when you were with Josh? >> Yeah. >> Okay. How? >> Not me. >> How much do you sell? [snorts] >> Nothing now. >> I know now, but what do you normally sell? Just carts. A little bit of flour. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Not really carts anymore. >> You remember who you got the Coke from? Cuz I know that looks to me like it's personal use. I don't think you were selling Coke. [snorts] >> The same guy you got the cards from or what? >> No, >> different guy. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, how long do you think you've been selling since you were with Josh? So, how long is that? Couple years. >> No, like a year, maybe. >> Like a year. You making any money off of it? Do you do you have somebody that would be upset with you that would be angry with you and have any reason to want to hurt you? >> I don't know. >> No. No. You don't know or none that you can think of or what? >> That would hurt me. >> Yeah. >> I don't know. >> No, >> really? No. >> Okay. All right. So, [snorts] when we talked about it before, so I think I think I've got some clarity. When we talked about it before, you told me that the reason that you picked the gun up was because it was Dakota's gun. Okay. So, we've cleared that up. All right. Because you've you've told me that this was yours. Okay. and we talked about um some of the things that were in your purse and it cleared that up a little bit. Okay. So, here's here's my question to you. Okay? And this part this part's really important, Neil. Okay? All right. Now, just hear me out. Let me finish what I'm saying before you say anything. Okay? If there was something that happened, just listen. Okay? If there was something that happened and there was something that's accidental that happened. Okay, that is where we want to be. If that is what happened, okay, if if there are two people, if he and I are in the same room together and I'm [ __ ] around with something and I'm like, ah, blah blah blah and something happens and the gun goes off, right? and he gets hurt or he gets he gets killed. Are you looking at me like I murdered him? Do I look like I murdered him? Or do I look like that was an accident? >> I [clears throat] don't know. >> You tell me. If you see that and I I was like, "Oh shit." Oh, [ __ ] >> Well, I mean, even if it was an accident or not, you still did it. >> Well, yeah, but that's the thing is that you you did still do Yeah, absolutely. But the thing is is that that's that's a completely different scenario. as planning to do it and doing it out of anger. Okay. If it's a mistake or it's an accident, that's what that's what we would need to know. >> My thing is I didn't accidentally nor purposefully hurt Dakota. >> I really did not accidentally nor purposefully nor pre-plan nor pre anything. >> Okay. Were you awake when this happened? Listen to me when I tell you this. Okay, if this if that's what happened and you weren't awake when this happened, that's what we need to know as well. Okay, if you saw it happen, then I need to know that you saw it happen. Okay, I don't need you I don't need you to to try and block that out because that's going to come out eventually. Okay, it'll come out through forensics. All right, so if that's what happened and you were awake and you saw him do that and you panicked because afterwards you're like, "Oh my god, I got all this [ __ ] in here. What the hell am I going to do? Holy [ __ ] I got to call the police and now they're going to come here. I'm going to go to jail. If that's what happened, and that's what we need to know as well. Okay. So, if you saw it and he did it while you were awake. >> No, he didn't. I did not see that. He did not do that when I was awake. No. >> Okay. >> I'm trying to look at you in the face and like be 100% cuz I know I look at the floor and I like try to remember things, but like I'm trying to look at you so seriously right now because no, I was not awake when he did that. >> Okay. Well, I'm going to I'm going to tell you that that that some of that some of that is going to be difficult for other people to believe. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> And I'll tell you why it's going to be difficult for other people to believe because of the sound of that gunshot and how loud that is. Okay. That's one. The other part of it is is that if it comes out forensically where it's absolutely confirmed that that gun was further away from his head than that and you have told a separate story and and you were never able to tell what happened if it didn't happen, then that puts you in a horrible spot. >> It already seems like I'm in a horrible spot. >> Well, I'm what I'm what I'm what we're doing here is we're trying to get everything ironed out so we understand where we're at. Okay. That's why that's why I've got you in here. Now, I told you when we first, you know, we first started talking that the the most important thing for you is honesty, >> right? >> I'm today I'm trying to be 100 and completely utterly honest with you because I don't want to lose the rest of my life. >> Okay. Do you remember when we talked before you told me you were being 100% honest with me? You did told me. You did. You told me the same. >> I'm sorry because I wasn't. >> Okay. So, what's, as I said before, what's going to be difficult for people to believe, okay, is that you were there and this gunshot went off and you didn't wake up. >> Didn't do Do you remember me telling you last time that I had hadn't slept 2 days before it happened? >> Mhm. >> Yeah, I remember. >> I remember. I remember. Mhm. >> And then, you know, on top of everything else, when you when we talk about um being difficult for somebody to believe that you didn't hear that gunshot, what's going to add to that is that you took a lot of the items that were directly related to this incident and you hid them. Okay? And you hid them and that's going to make it >> But I didn't Okay. >> No, it's okay. I'm just just listen to what I'm saying. >> Black and white. Well, I'm just saying it's going to be difficult for people to understand why you did that when you when you weren't involved in what happened. Okay? Because there would be there would be no reason for you to do that. Okay? >> No. >> Okay. So, why did you put the stuff in the car? Why didn't you just hide it in your house? I mean, why didn't why wouldn't it be wouldn't it wouldn't it have been simpler to hide it someplace in the house as opposed to putting it in the car? wouldn't have been simpler to not have given it to them, not tried to give it to them. If I was really trying to hide it, that >> like actually the second they said that it was a gunshot wound, I tried to get the gun to give to them because I didn't know that it was a gunshot wound. >> Well, let let me ask you this, and I know you're not a police officer trained in firearms, but [clears throat] obviously you know what a gun is. Obviously, you know, it takes a bullet and you have to put it in a magazine for it to shoot on the type of gun. Correct? You follow me on that >> magazine? >> The clip. >> Okay. >> All right. And when you fire that gun, then it ejects the shell casing out, which is that hollow thing that you referred to. >> Okay. So [clears throat] at that time, if you didn't think it was a gunshot wound or whatever, what did in your mind did you get out of seeing the shell casing with no bullet tip in it? You know what I'm saying? >> The casing's just there cuz you don't beat them out with a hammer or anything like that. You know, they it had to been fired >> and then you picked it up. >> I feel like at that point like it was just wanting to be denial. I just wanted to like deny the fact that he had been shot. I don't really know. Or he had shot himself. He had been shot. I don't know. Um cuz he saying that. But I don't know. I've never even never been shot again. So I Bro, can you do the test on my hands, too? Have you gotten any of those results for the gunpowder? >> Well, see you see the thing. The thing with that Neely is >> now the detective introduces something Christian can't explain away as a memory problem. He's talking about the sound of the gunshot inside the trailer. If his estimate is right, staying asleep through it becomes one of the biggest problems in her story. >> If somebody washes their hands prior to doing that, okay? And it's the same thing with him with Dakota. If somebody washed his hands, it'd be the same way. Okay. What? >> If somebody wiped his hands or washed his hands, it'd be the same way. He wouldn't he wouldn't have any gunshot. >> I thought it like it was it stayed. >> God damn it. >> I wish the [ __ ] it did. This is awful. >> [snorts] >> So when you woke up and you saw him laying on the floor and the gun was on the floor and you said you said that you you had that counterfeit money as well. Okay. Um you picked all that stuff up and you put it in your um your bag, right? You put the bag in the car, right? And um and then at that point that's when you call the MS, correct? >> No. >> Okay. Explain to me explain to me how it was. >> I woke up. I saw Dakota. Tried to wake him up. I couldn't. I heard him breathing. So I called EMS and like I guess while I was on the phone with him, I threw everything together in in the bathroom. When did you put the pillow underneath his head? >> I didn't put a pillow underneath his head. >> Okay. Well, there's a pillow that's got a lot of blood on it. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, >> he put that underneath his own head, I suppose, cuz I didn't put a pillow under his head. >> That would have been impossible, huh? He couldn't have done that after he'd been shot. >> Well, couldn't he have done it before he had shot himself? >> Nope. Not not based on where it was. not based on on what we what we know about the trajectory of the round and where what position he was in when he did it if he did it. >> This [ __ ] is just keeps getting like more and more like do you ever feel like you're being accused of something and you know you didn't do it but the more and more that's getting added it seems more and more like everyone thinks you did it. >> You know Neie, I'm not I'm not accusing you of anything. What I'm trying to do >> I know I just >> listen I'm trying to do is I'm just trying to I'm just trying to get the story. Okay. Because the story that you gave me and the story the way things are right now does not make sense. Okay. That's the thing. It doesn't make sense from the very beginning. Hun when you and I first talked. The story did not make sense. Okay. It didn't. None of it did. Can we give me a lie detector test or do anything of any sort to prove to you that I didn't do >> I mean you know that that could that could be that could be absolutely arranged you know if that's what you want to do if if you want >> that's what I want to do I'm just >> I mean if you if you if you want to take a polygraph test you know that can absolutely be arranged okay [snorts] but you know the end analysis is what what we're trying to get at is the truth. Period. All of us. Okay. The truth. Okay. That's that's what that's what this whole thing is about is the truth. >> Mhm. Okay. Those [clears throat] are the wipes. Okay. in the bottom of the trash can. Okay, that's the cigarette pack that was on your center console. You asked to see these, so I'm showing them to you. Okay, that's the shell casing that you put inside the cigarette pack. Okay. Okay. >> How do you test the >> Okay. And this this is all the items that we found in that little pouch that you were talking about. Okay. That's >> That's a jewel. >> No, no, that's cocaine. Okay. Flower, marijuana, and those are all your cards that you have already admitted to selling. Okay. The whole thing, the whole thing of it, the whole thing of it, Neie, is that you know where we stand where we stand now is we're we're in search for the truth. Okay. We're in a search for the truth. And denying something. Okay. Deny. >> What do you think I'm denying? >> I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. Okay. That's what that's one of the reasons why I'm talking to you. Okay. I'm not Have I Have I one time come out and said you did this? >> No. But I don't even think you're allowed to do that. Even >> Am I allowed to do that? >> Absolutely. >> Okay. I am allowed to do that. Okay. But what I want you to do is I want you to be able to tell me what the deal is. Okay? I want you to be able to tell me from your standpoint what it was that happened. Okay? Because because there's a lot there's going to be a lot of speculation. A lot of speculation because this the things that you told me didn't make any sense and they still don't. They still don't. >> So nothing just I still make absolutely no sense. >> Some of the things that you told me don't make sense. Okay. They don't. When you have around it's like this. Your trailer is about this big. About this about this size right here. >> If you and not very much bigger square footage wise it's about like this. And this is about as much room as you guys. Small. Okay. >> You fire off a 9 mm round in here, we're going to be deaf. All of us. I promise you that's that's exactly You can look it up online when we get done here. When you when you fire off a 9 mm round, it's just as loud as a space shuttle taking off. It's that loud for one second. There's no way you could sleep through that. >> Well, I had to because I did. That's the thing. >> Well, maybe this is something that that because you feel bad about it. >> I feel bad. >> I don't know. I'm asking. I'm saying maybe this is something you feel bad about and you're and you're just refusing to say that this is whatever it was that happened happened because you feel bad about it. >> That's why I wanted you to that's why I said what I said about the lie detector test because if I at the end of the day I know who I am and if I I'm not just going to >> I don't know. >> Well, if you're sitting in my in my shoes and I tell you, okay, uh you know, a sound as loud as a space shuttle went off and I slept through it. Never heard anything at all. Does that make any sense? >> That's not as loud as a space shuttle though. >> Hm. >> It's not that loud though. >> That's >> as loud as a spaceship or space shuttle. >> Space same amount of decb. It's a rocket launch. It's the same. It's the same. Same. That's That's how loud it is. That's why it doesn't make any sense. Okay. And saying that you you know that you slept through all that time. I'll tell you what what I understand. I understand that he was there. He laid there for a while. And I think you were I think you were panicked, you know. I think you were worried. I think you were very upset and you were concerned, you know, and you didn't know what was going to happen. I don't know. This is the only thing that I can come up with. That's what I mean about speculation. That's why that's why you That's why at some point putting all that stuff to rest and telling whatever it was that happened is the most important thing. It's not gonna it's not going to change what happened obviously. But what it does is it makes it so not only we can understand but everybody else can as well. Okay. So I'm if there was if there was something that happened and you're embarrassed about it. I'm not I I don't know. unmask it. If there's something that happened and you're embarrassed about it or you feel bad about it because you don't want people to look at you a certain way because of something that happened and you think they will, then this is the time to bring all that stuff out. >> Wasn't anything like that without being embarrassed, about trying to hide anything. >> Okay. So, tell me again what happened. Can I please smoke a cigarette? >> As soon as we get done. We're almost done. >> It doesn't feel like we're going to be done. And it feels like when we are done. >> At this stage, the detective isn't focused on one piece of evidence anymore. He's putting the entire sequence together when Christian says she woke up, what she moved, and what happened before help arrived. And now even her earlier promise of honesty becomes part of the conversation. >> All right. [snorts] So, there's a couple things that I want to go back over. you. She told you that your your test was inconclusive, right? >> It's very upsetting. >> Did she do you know what that means? Did she tell you what that means? >> They couldn't get a yes or a no. I think >> Well, what did it what it means is there's probably some things that you may have been slightly dishonest on. >> This is what they're This is what they're saying. >> She said, "My body, >> you're physiologically you're having problem. Your heart rate's all over the place and all that." So, you know, which is understandable. Okay. Um, there's some things that I want to talk about that I know for sure that you didn't tell me truth on >> just in there. >> No, when we talked last time. >> Last time or the first time? >> The second time. The last time I talked. >> Are you serious? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> And it may be because it may be because you didn't remember. That's possibility. Okay. Or there could be a number of different reasons. Okay. But I will tell you that there are some things that that give me pause. All right? And I'll tell you I'll tell you what one of them was was that when you first when we first talked about what happened right after you woke up. Okay. [snorts] And we talked about um u what you did with the gun and the shell casing and all that stuff and the and the carts and the flower and stuff that you put in your purse. Okay. We talked about that. And you said that um you put those in there while you were waiting for EMS to come. >> Mhm. >> That's not what you did. >> I don't recall what I did. >> Okay. Well, I'm telling you that's not what you did. I listened to the 911 call. >> Okay. And one of the main things that you do in the 911 call when they ask you what happened is you tell them that there was blood on the floor on the floor and it was around him around his head. And you tell them about some of the injuries and stuff. You don't talk about the gun at all. Okay. Where you found the gun or anything like that. Okay. Um and that's because the gun was already gone because what you did was you waited while you put stuff in the car and hid things before you called 911. You were on the phone and you tried to text at 7:00. Okay. And this is from your phone. Okay. And the text didn't go through. >> Seven. >> Yeah. Or not seven, but 1:00, I'm sorry. And the text did not go through. Okay. So at that point, you know, that's >> that was before I called 911 because that was before I knew that I didn't have service, >> right? That's 30 minutes before you called 911. Okay. >> Okay. So that's a long time. All right. That's you find you you found him on the floor. Okay. With which is what you told me. And then 30 minutes later is when the 911 call was made. Okay. Cuz I know you were awake and you were using the phone 30 minutes prior to you calling 911. >> Okay. So, is that the time that you were using to hide the stuff in the car? Is that what is that what what was happening? >> Multiple times I tried to wake him up for long periods of time just trying to shake his body and saying Dakota and a good bit of minutes was me balling cuz I couldn't wake him up. I went and knocked on my neighbor's door to see if they had a phone that I could use. Um the neighbor on that side and the trailer over first on that side. >> Mhm. >> And um those are the main things I remember doing is trying to wake up Dakota and trying to find somebody with a phone who had service. >> Okay. And you were you you had to have been putting the stuff in the car at that time too, huh? There's no other way to do it because you were on the phone the whole time with EMS and you were you were doing stuff. I mean >> Okay. >> That's what I'm asking. You know, is that is that what happened? >> Did you you put stuff in the car before you called 911? Is that what happened? >> I suppose if that's what adds up. I cannot confirm or deny like completely because things did were fuzzy. It was a really >> Okay. Well, this this is this is important stuff. Okay. So, if that's what if that's what you did, you need to tell me. >> I mean, I I can prove that you did that. I can prove that you did that based on your phone and and some of the things that happened afterwards. >> But what I want you to do is I want you >> I want me to be honest with you. And when I'm being honest with you, I'm just telling you that it's fuzzy and I don't really remember what happened in the hecticness. >> Okay. Did you take anything that night? >> Did you take any Did you take any acid, LSD? >> [ __ ] that. >> Okay. Did you take anything? >> No. >> Okay. You didn't take any You didn't take any beans? Nothing? >> I don't think I did. No, I don't. >> You don't think you did or you didn't? >> I didn't. I don't think I did. No. >> Okay. >> I was so tired. I was >> You just smoked weed and that was it. >> Yeah. Yes. And drank a lot of little vodka and that's >> I didn't drink. >> You didn't drink that night? >> No, I did not. >> Okay. But you smoked a little weed. >> One blunt. Yes. I hit two times >> with with the cover. >> Yes. He wanted >> Did he take anything that night? >> Not that I know of. No, he did not. >> He didn't take anything that you know of other than just the weed. Right. >> He didn't take of He didn't take anything that came from me. I didn't give him anything. >> Okay. >> And No, I don't believe he took anything. >> Okay. All right. Um, we talked about um I noticed I noticed over by your bed because this is one thing that I was looking at cuz I was looking at some of the photos. There's blood on the walls, handprints on the walls over by your bed. You tell me why that is. Don't you remember? >> I don't. >> Okay. >> I know there was uh you know how there was two different types of blood on the sheets. Mhm. >> Some of it was from my body and I think some of it was from Dakota. I don't know. I don't really know what happened. All I know is at that time I was on my period and I sleep with my hand like this in between my legs. Whenever I woke up my hand was bloody from me not changing my tampon before I went to sleep. I don't really like talking about personal things like that, especially with multiple people. But no, I don't like I know like I I obviously touched Dakota when I was shaking him trying to wake him up. Um >> do you remember Do you remember getting back in bed and touching the walls or do anything like that over over where your bed was? >> I don't know. I don't remember that. No. I saw the little ABCDE E stickers that y'all had stuck up in different places on the wall, but like >> Okay. >> Did you test it to make sure it was 100% positively blood and it was >> Oh, it was it was definitely blood. But when you There's a pillow there that you used to used to have on your bed that normally I'm assuming you had on your bed. It's one of those uh what do they call them? Tempic. >> Tempropedic pillows. >> Okay. And his head had been resting on that pillow. Did you put his head on that pillow? >> No, I did not. >> You don't remember doing that? >> I did not do that. >> Okay. Well, there's blood all over the pillow and his his head would have had to have been on the pillow. Okay. There's no other reason for it. And he couldn't have done that himself. You don't remember doing it? >> I did not do that. >> You didn't do that? >> I did not do that. >> All right. So, you don't remember um putting any of the stuff in the car before you call the EMS, right? Is that what you're telling me that you don't remember putting anything in the car before you call the EMS? No, I know that I did. I just didn't know if I had done it before or during the call. >> Okay. Well, you you couldn't have done it during the call. You were doing other stuff with him. You can you can hear you doing it in the call and during the call? >> Yeah, they were getting me to uh was checking his breathing. >> Mhm. Right. I mean, that's what I mean. You were you were there the whole time? >> Mhm. >> Um and you think it took you you 30 minutes to put the stuff in the car or or what? >> It wasn't just putting things in the car, >> going around the different places. >> No, I had tried to wake him up. Mhm. >> Multiple times. That's what most of my time was spent doing, just trying to shake him, wake him up, check his heartbeat, just kind of balling over top of him, hoping he would wake the [ __ ] up. >> Why didn't you mention anything about the gun to EMS? >> I did. I actually tried to give it to him. That's why they found out that it was in the >> when you were talking to dispatch when they asked you what happened. >> Because I just wanted them there to help him. >> Okay. So, you didn't mention anything about the gun? >> I don't think I did. No, I'm not on the phone. >> Okay. Okay. I really believe that Billy came in and beat the [ __ ] out of him and that's why he was bleeding. I didn't know that a gunshot swells either. >> You found an empty shell casing on the floor though, right? And you put that shell casing in the cigarette pack and hid that in your car. So, how how could you not know that that was a gunshot wound? >> Cuz I didn't really know it was a showcasing like that. I'm not into guns like that. I've never shoten a gun in my life. Then why'd you hide it? >> It wasn't hidden. I wasn't going out of my way to hide it. I didn't think I was even hiding it. I don't >> putting it in a cigarette pack and then putting it in your car. I'm >> My cigarette pack was in my hand. >> Okay. Well, it was in the car. I think I found honestly what I think happened was I think that I had put I I had put the whatever everything the money and the gun in the car and then while being on the phone with the ambulance I think I found the shell and that's when my heart dropped and I was like no that it was a gunshot. >> Okay. So at that point when you said you're saying that you realize it was gunshot. >> Not that I realized but like I realized that there was a possibility. I still don't really want to believe it like that that could have that could have even happened or that it would have even been happened. >> Where was the gun at >> prior to it being on the floor? >> Where was it? >> All right. So, here's where we're at. Okay. You had you had an >> Christian still describes the period before the 9001 call as confused and chic. But detectives have something that doesn't depend on memory. Her phone activity gives them timeline and that timeline suggests there was time to move things before the call was made. >> Inconsistent polygraph. Okay. Um, you've lied to me numerous times. Okay. So, what it leads me what it leads me to is I don't know how to believe what you're telling me with regards to what happened with Dakota. Okay. I have I have a hard time believing some of the things that you've told me now. You've told me that you're a hard sleeper. Right. You went they went to your trailer today and they banged on your trailer and couldn't get you come to the door because you were sleeping so hard. Okay. So, that's that's pushing me in in one direction or another with regards to what you said earlier. Understand? Okay. But >> what do you mean what I said earlier? >> What you said earlier about not being able to wake up when you heard when there was a gunshot in your trailer. >> Exactly. And I didn't and I didn't wake up when they came. >> But you woke up and when you saw Dakota on the ground, your first reaction is to try waking them up. Not trying to sound like an [ __ ] There's brain matter on the ground floor. There's blood everywhere. >> And your first thought is, and I know, understand this. >> You keep a gun in your trailer. The gun ends up in your car. >> I mean, I'm not trying to sound like an [ __ ] Like >> I know everything really bad. >> You're treating us like we're [ __ ] stupid. Okay, just being straight with you. >> You knew it was a gunshot immediately. Don't. Now listen, you've watched plenty of shows. You said you didn't you don't know anything about guns yet. You already know about Draco. You know about AK-47s. You have one tattooed on you. >> Okay? >> Stop the inconsistent [ __ ] It's as simple as this. You wake up, you see him with a gunshot wound. Okay? Based off your statements at least, he already expressed that there's a 30-minute window. Okay? You take time to hide the gun. The blood that's on it is already drying at this point by the time EMS gets there. You've already stated inside this room that you're going to be going to prison for the rest of your life. >> No, >> you did. You said that's the reason why you're in here and you're going to give whatever information you need to snitch. >> And then you sit here and you have an issue. >> I'm sorry. The reality sucks. >> I'm trying to listen. I'm trying to shut the [ __ ] up and hear what you say. Look at the reality of the situation here, okay? We deal with this every single day. I have not had one person come in here with more [ __ ] than you have. This is an opportunity for you to start over and tell us exactly what happened. Are you ready to be truthful with us? What really happened to Dakota inside the trailer? >> First, I never said I was going to prison for the rest of my life. I said I knew there was enough reasons for me to go to prison for me selling drugs. I never said >> Said nothing about drugs in here. >> There has been talk about drugs in here. And you said, "I'm in here cooperating because >> I am trying [screaming] to FEEL LIKE I CAN COOPERATE FOR you because everyone else is serious. It made me seem like a cold blood [ __ ] killer and I'm trying to do everything I [ __ ] can to >> I don't think you're a cold blood killer. I think there was a [ __ ] accident in there and I think there was a problem and you hesitated and you got scared and so you panicked and what you panicked is that there was a time and I'm not GOING TO MAKING YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE MAKING me [screaming] feel. So, please talk to me with your one. >> Listen to me. >> You need to calm down and we need to start from the beginning. This gentleman sat here kindly with you this whole time as you fed crap to him. >> Go ahead. >> Yeah. >> Hey, go ahead, sir. >> No, I'm in an interview right now. I should be in a few minutes. >> Yep. Go ahead down there. >> Yes, it is. [snorts] >> I will. >> Yep. Roger that. [laughter] So, we see a second situation. The 9 mm, the Smith and Wesson MMP that you subsequently traded your Draco for, got money for. Okay. >> The one that was inside of the bottom of the oven. You said that only two people knew about. You and Billy. And you said Dakota for a fact didn't know where that was. >> I said I didn't know if Dakota knew. >> So, it's these tapes in here. But you even said this is it was in such a spot that nobody would know it was there. It was underneath the drawer where you keep the pan inside of underneath another pan and only two people knew where that gun was at. So guess what? If Billy didn't do it, what's that tell you? >> And how do you know that Billy didn't do it? >> I don't know. You haven't told us anything consistent that would point to this. >> You wake up, you say that, oh, I might have just been laying in bed. That might have very happened. You're a heavy sleeper. Meanwhile, Dakota's on the ground death rattling with a bullet hole in his head. And then you spend a ridiculous amount of time over his body trying to wake him up when half of his brain's on the ground. And that's what [ __ ] confuses the hell out of me. And you're telling me you didn't know it was a gunshot. You picked up a casing and you're like, "Oh, I didn't immediately think it was a gunshot." Oh, how did the gun get from point A to point B? >> The gun and everything was moved before I ever saw the casing. >> So, the gun was already moved. Who moved the gun then? you are. >> I really don't want to speak to you. >> That's fine. Get mad at me. >> I'm not mad at you. I just don't like the way that you're making me feel and I'd rather speak to somebody else. >> That's fine. Here's the thing. I'm here, >> okay? >> Because questions are being asked. This is the problem. There's so many in inconsistencies we're looking at. And you come in here and you have amazingly have amnesia on every little aspect. You can ask this gentleman here in his long career, especially in his military career. Do you think he has had traumatic incidents? And you remember them all, don't you? >> Yes, I do. >> It's [ __ ] So, you spent a ridiculous amount of time over Dakota's corpse. I said >> by the final minutes, the detective has gone through almost every major contradiction. Now, there's nothing left to hide behind except the story itself. He gives Christian one final opportunity to start over and tell him exactly what happened. And what she says next changes the direction of the interrogation. something I didn't do either. If I was trying to hide the gun, if I did like that like I did, I would have took it somewhere. I would have left him with everything. I would have came back or I would have tried to do something with his body if I didn't want him to have. But if I wanted to have done something, if I would have done anything to work, >> it's not word play. I'm being very blunt and very rude. >> Disrespectful loud told that I don't appreciate. >> You being louder to me doesn't win this conversation here and it's not an argument. What I'm telling you is that I'm presenting the facts. >> I'm being attacked. >> I be very blunt with you [snorts] and I've been very straight with you. >> Can I go? >> Give me one second. >> Can I get Can I go? >> Yes. [laughter] I have to walk you down. [laughter] >> Raise your right hand for me. >> No, please. I don't want you. I don't want to do anything cuz I don't like this. >> You're completely >> All I'm asking you is to raise your right hand so you can tell me that you're telling the truth. That's all. Raise your right hand for me. Just raise your right hand. Tell me that you're telling the truth. That's all. Please don't ever bring him into here to talk to me again. I'll talk to anyone here. You can just do me in jail. Please. I don't want to do that again. Please. And it's not even that I want to finish. It's not even that I'm done talking to you. I'm so done with this in general. >> I understand. Raise your right hand for me, honey. Raise your right hand for me. I'm tired of raising my hand and then signing things when I feel like it's just putting me in worse positions. >> Okay, I understand completely. Do you swear the information you provided me is true and correct for the best of your knowledge? >> After if I say something, are you going to put my hands back and take me to jail afterwards? >> I'm not I'm I'm asking you if you're telling the truth. >> Yes. >> Okay. Everything you said to me is the truth. Yes. You swear everything is the truth. Yes. I think that the gun was under the drawer, under the stove, but I'm not completely positive where it was at before it happened. >> Okay. >> Yes. Now, I completely swear that everything I've told you it's true. >> All right. Come on. I'll walk you down. >> What do you see? Look closely at her story.
