And then we still got to figure out what's going on with the gun stuff. >> So I didn't pass the surprise. >> He did not pass. Did very poorly. >> If he was waving around, at least I would have seen. >> Yeah, of course I would have seen him. I watch him the whole time he drives them. My daughter's in the car. I don't believe that. >> I didn't see him waving them around. Like I promise you I didn't. >> You were dancing around with the music blasting in the vehicle and you had two firearms in your hand and you were waving them around when you were dancing. On May 2nd, 2025, Flaggler County deputies responded to a 911 call about a man waving pistols while driving through Palm Coast. Moments later, they located the white Chevrolet Equinox and performed a high-risk traffic stop. Behind the wheel was 28-year-old Tyler Bradberry, a convicted felon driving drunk with his 8-month-old baby in the back seat. But what deputies found next was even more alarming. >> So, my husband and I were driving down Palm Coast Parkway. We were going over the highway, okay? >> And we were at the Before we went over the highway, we were at the light and we looked over cuz he had music blaring and he had two weapons in his hands and he was dancing around. My husband saw it. >> I looked over and saw just the one and I didn't want to keep looking at him. >> Sorry, they were giving a call out. What was that last part you just said? >> Um, so my husband's the one who mentioned it. He said he's got two weapons in his hand. Um, and then uh I looked over and saw the one in his left hand >> and it was his left hand was on the steering wheel and he had a weapon in his hand. >> Okay. So they looked like handguns and then I'm assuming >> they look like handguns. Yeah. >> Okay. And there was two people in the car and the male driving is the one you're saying? >> Yes. And then there was a female in the passenger seat. >> Okay. All right. I'm behind the car now. We're following it. I'm just waiting for another unit to get here. So they didn't weren't like pointing at anyone, but they were just dancing and kind of showing them off like >> like reckless kind of. Okay, >> Trevor. Trevor, hands out the window. Hands out the window. Both hands. Put the car in park. Both hands out the window. Passenger, hands up. [Music] Passenger, hands up. >> Yeah. Go. Driver, very slowly, I want you to reach outside of the vehicle. Open the door from the outside. When you exit, both go. Passenger, stay in the car. >> When you exit the vehicle, I want both hands up in the air. Do it slowly. >> Both hands up. Nothing in them. Driver only. >> Vehicle. >> Driver only. Both hands up. Nothing in them. Exit out. >> Both hands up. >> Yep. Step towards me. Walk towards me. Walk towards me. Hands up. Hands up. Turn around. Face away. Side step to your right. Side step to your right. Stop. Back up. Back up. >> Stepping out. >> Keep backing up. Keep coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. >> Keep your hands up. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> All right, boss. This time you are under arrest for DUI as well. Okay. >> Huh? >> How did I Why am I? >> Very poorly. >> Very poorly. >> Yep. Very, very poorly. And then we still got to figure out what's going on with the gun stuff. So, >> so I didn't pass the test. >> You did not pass. You did very poorly. >> You didn't pass. You'll be able to read in the report everything that uh you did not do well on. Okay. >> Just until we get everything figured out and then we'll explain everything. Okay. >> I know it's going to be a tight fit. But >> what what is going on? >> Like I said, are there were you we got a call that there were firearms being waved in a vehicle on the road? >> Okay. But um I'm I'm I'm so nervous right now. Um I don't know what to say. >> Okay. >> Do you live Do you live on Bronson? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Do you want to walk to uh Can you run in and stuff? See? >> Brownstone in Brooklyn. >> Brownstone in Brooklyn. >> Cuz my son um All right. I'll be right there. Sheesh. Look at this. >> Crazy. [Applause] >> All right. >> Hello. >> Yes. We'll meet you down here. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> This was under her seat. [Music] Well, [Applause] John, can you roll your hand out in the vehicle? He's intoxicated and there's loaded firearms in the vehicle. Okay. Do you think those are all great things for a child? Do you understand that we go to negligent discharges all the time? Accidental shootings all the time. We respond to those often because people don't realize and the gun goes off and now you have a almost infant in the vehicle. All right. Now, I got to notify DCF, which is Department of Children and Families, right? Because there's concerns for that child's safety from what I'm seeing. Does that make sense? >> So, is she getting taken away from me? >> No. Cuz I don't even live out here. So if they start a case, how do I come back or >> No, they notify them up there. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Are you willing to talk to me? >> Yeah. I mean, he has he does have them in the car's um their register, but I don't >> Okay. >> I I'm truly not even kidding. I don't I didn't see him waving them around. If somebody said they saw, okay, then they I don't know. But I didn't see them waving them around. I know. I didn't touch them. >> I don't touch guns. Like I don't even I don't >> Okay, so you don't touch the guns. >> No, sir. >> Was there any point him actually waving them around? >> I didn't see him waving them around. I know he carries them on his lap sometimes, but I don't see him waving them around. >> Okay. Where were you riding at in the vehicle? >> I was in the passenger. >> Front passenger. Yes. >> Okay. Okay. So, if he was waving around, you're saying you would have seen >> Yeah, of course I would have seen him. I watch him the whole time he drives. My daughter's in the car. I don't play that. >> I didn't see him waving them around. Like, I promise you I didn't. So maybe we should be a little bit more careful of what we do with our child. That's an innocent child who didn't do anything, right? I'm not saying that you're a bad mom or anything like that, but you got to realize that your choices and his choices impact that child. She's innocent. And God forbid something happened, right? So let's be a little bit smarter about what we do. But you're good to go. Okay. Unless you have any questions for me. >> Okay. >> All right. >> Hello. Are you here to pick up the baby? Okay. How are you related to the child or the child's mother? >> Grandmother. >> Their grandmother. >> Tyler is my son. >> Is that Tyler over there? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm just going to go. We're going to go over to the mother. Just make sure it's good that you're taking custody and then you'll be able to take the baby. >> What's going on? >> Uh that'll be explained later. We're currently investigating it. What's going on? >> And where? >> And where you guys? >> There's a gun in the car, but it belongs to his brother, who is a security guard. >> Which is it? A black or a tan gun? >> Um, he has two guns. >> His two guns. They both belong to the brother. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um you can hang out here if you'd like. Your uh um the female might not be getting arrested. >> Okay. >> So, just uh hang out for a little bit. >> Okay. >> And we'll let you know. >> All right. >> Has he ever done anything like waving guns around before? I don't know what he does when I'm not here, but when I'm here, I don't know because we always have our daughter with us. >> Okay. How long have you been here from Illinois? >> For like 7 weeks. >> Seven weeks. >> Yeah. I've been here for a while. >> Yeah. >> I mean, I lived here before in the other B section. >> Oh, the old B. >> That's how I know him. Yeah. >> I see. >> But I moved back home and then we had a kid together. So, I come and visit. >> So, it was at the light at Palm Coast Parkway and Boulder Rock Drive by Walmart and Home Depot. You were at the red light, stopped at the red light. Okay. You were dancing around with the music blasting in the vehicle and you had two firearms in your hand and you were waving them around when you were dancing. >> Waving around while I didn't even sound like >> We just found two fire handguns in the vehicle, which match the description. And they were both loaded one with one in the chamber. So, do you think that's appropriate behavior with a baby in the back? >> What happens if one of them accidentally goes off? How would someone know that you had two firearms in the vehicle? Two handguns, and you were waving them around, dancing in the car. >> Okay. So, you're allowed to possess a firearm. That's what I'm trying to ask. >> Yeah. Yeah, I think so. Yes. >> You think so? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Are you on probation? >> No, I'm not on anything. >> Okay. Is she a convicted felon? >> No, no, sir. >> Okay. How much have you been drinking? >> I I haven't been drinking. >> You have been drinking because there's open container in the front and it's alcohol. He wasn't drinking. >> No, you've been drinking. I smiled on you when I'm talking to you. >> I just ate a chicken sandwich. >> I said, but I'm like I was just going home. >> How much did you drink though? >> One beer. Maybe >> one beer. >> What about the liquor that's in there? >> I don't I don't drink that liquor. The only thing I drank was at the house. >> So, how many did you have? >> Cuz your reactions are very slow and delayed. No, I'm just one or two cups. Two cups >> of what? >> Beer at the house. But >> we're literally one street away from the house. >> Right. But this happened all I've been following you since Old King's Road. >> You understand? Road. >> Yes. >> In my unmarked vehicle. I've been following you since Old King's Road. >> Like driving. >> Yes. You were driving bad. >> What did I do? >> Well, I'm just explaining to you your driving was not the best. >> Bro, my daughter's in the car, bro. Like, what the fuck am I in cuffs for? The car wasn't on me. Like, I don't got no fucking warrants. I'm not even fucking from here. I'm flying home tomorrow. What the fuck? Like, there is nothing for me to be in cuffs for. Like, I should not be in cuffs. Go to jail for what? Those aren't my fucking guns. Those are those are not my motherfucking guns. The fuck? That's his fucking brother's guns registered to his brother who is allowed to have guns. I wasn't drinking. I wasn't driving. Like there's nothing. I'm not on drugs. There ain't a fuck thing for me to be in cuss for. I'm simply a fucking passenger. As far as I was concerned, the the weapons were always in the center console. when I was told that they were his brothers and cuz his brother they all use the same car >> for they just have a family car and his brother you has is allowed as that's his registered stuff so he doesn't ever pull them out in front of me and stuff like that >> okay >> so as far as I was concerned they were in the center council I don't worry about the guns being like a an an issue as far as that goes I know that they're there but >> and then the other half >> him drinking Yeah, >> he just drank one glass. I mean, I didn't He's not He wasn't showing me any signs of being drunk or anything. Why am I in the car? Like, this is bogus as fuck. Like, I'm fucking about to go to jail. I'm supposed to be leaving tomorrow. Okay. The fuck? And it's not my car nor my gun. So, why would that even possibly be tied to me? Like, it's not like it every nobody's in the car is taking fault for the car, the gun. Like, it's not mine. It's his fucking brothers. cuz it's literally registered to his brothers. It's not an illegal fucking firearm. Like, it's not an illegal gun. It's registered to someone. And it's obviously not fucking registered to me. Test that shit for fingerprints. I never touch that shit. And it's like, nigga, I'm not the one who who is even being accused of anything. I don't touch those things. So, what what am I even What am I What is the issue with me? What the fuck, bro? Like, I literally have a fucking flight tomorrow back to Illinois. Could y'all please just let me be with my goddamn kid? His mom cannot fucking take care of that fucking kid. Like I'm the one who takes care of her. Told my son if he was drinking, nigga. That has nothing to do with me. I don't know what he was drinking or how much he drank. If he's saying he's drunk, then he's drunk. Cool. I mean, he's acting completely normal to me. I don't know about it. I don't know about none of that shit. I don't know what to tell you other than I genuinely don't know about none of that shit. >> All right. Are you a convicted felon? >> No. No. >> No. >> Okay. Are any of those firearms in the vehicle yours? >> No, sir. >> No. >> No. >> So, one of those guns was up under your seat. Do you understand? The one with the drum mag? >> I not aware that it was under my seat. However, I don't touch those. I know that he has them. >> Okay. >> And they're his brothers, but I don't touch them. >> Okay. The brother is only saying that only one of them is his. >> Oh, well, I don't know. It's not mine. >> So, is one of them Tyler's one of them Marks? >> I guess. Which one have you seen Tyler with? >> Uh the the one with the the I know the black one stays in the center council. >> Okay. Whose is the black one? >> Marks. >> Okay. What about the tan one? >> Um then it's his. >> Have you seen him with it? >> I've seen it in the car. Yeah. >> You've seen it in the car? That big magazine on the bottom that sticks out? >> Yeah. >> Like that holds a bunch of rounds of ammo. >> Mhm. >> Okay. >> That was the one that was under your seat. >> It's not mine. DNA your fingerprints going to be on that gun? >> No. >> Okay. I'm just asking. >> His mom just came out here and confirmed that that was not that that that that he just she just talked to the other officer and said both of those guns are not mine. Like those are those are those are not affiliated with me. >> Okay. That's all we're figuring out. Okay. >> Okay. >> And you've only been arrested for DUI, you said? >> Yeah. When I was 18. >> Okay. So, we're checking your criminal history if you had >> I mean, I've gotten arrested when I had like court and I like misdemeanor warrants. No. >> Okay. Okay. So, if you're not a convicted felon, you'll probably be free to go. >> Okay, that's fine. I promise you I'm not. >> Okay, so we're going >> I just looked. You are a convicted felon. You got convicted of resisting with violence when you were on probation and you kept violating. They adjud adjudicated you guilty in the state of Florida. So, that means you're not allowed to possess a firearm in the state of Florida. Okay. >> It was just >> You had them. You were waving them around and you're dancing. I mean, your DNA and your fingerprints are going to be on those guns. Like, do we want to literally argue that >> cross 24%? >> Your baby's going with Grant, your mom. [Music] >> Your DNA and fingerprints are going to be on those guns, right? Cuz the caller said that it was you, the driver, not the female passenger who's waving them around in the car. [Music] You don't want to see her get in trouble, right? Was she waving them around in the car? >> Huh? >> Not waving around, dancing, holding them. >> You what? >> You were putting them out of reach. So, where'd you how did you put it under her seat? out of reach. >> Okay. So, you had them both and you gave them to her to put them out of reach. >> No, one was already in the console, wasn't it? >> Yes. >> And the other one needed to be out of reach. >> So, where was the other one when you when you got it and handed it to her? >> I think it was in the road. >> The problem is that you have a baby in the back of that car. Both of those guns are loaded and some a witness who's doesn't know you, never seen you before, never seen that car before, sees you dancing with two guns, two handguns in your hand in the vehicle to loud music, calls 911, describes you, describes her, gives us the vehicle tag, and then we find it, and there's two guns in the car, two handguns, just like they said, and you were the one waving them around in the car when you were dancing to music. That's the problem that we have. If you weren't waving them around, we would not be in this situation cuz no one would have seen them in your car. You understand? >> So, the black one, is your fingerprints or DNA going to be on it before we send it off? >> Huh? >> It might be. Yeah, >> it will be on there. Which? The fingerprints or the DNA? Or both? >> So, your fingerprints will be on both. All right. >> I didn't mean no harm. >> I know you don't mean harm, but I mean, what happens if that gun goes off? >> It's not going to go off. >> We deal with accidental shootings all the time. >> And those are both loaded with a baby in the back. >> This was all the way by Old Kings. [Music] >> But how far is old? >> How long did it take you to get there? I don't know. 5 minutes, 7 minutes. Yeah, >> I know you didn't mean harm. No one's saying you meant harm, but you've been drinking and you made a bad decision. You shouldn't have pulled them out. According to the arrest report, deputies discovered a Walther PDP loaded with 18 rounds and a Glock 19 fitted with a massive 52 round drum magazine. Inside the vehicle, in the front cup holder sat an open alic drink, a small detail that revealed the chaos behind the wheel that night. Bradberry was charged with DUI with a person under 18 in the vehicle. Two counts of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, improper exhibition of a firearm, and use of a firearm under the influence of alcohol. He was later released on bond of $25,000. But this wasn't his first act of violence. He had a long history of reckless and dangerous crimes.
