On May 7th, 2025, Flaggler County deputies responded to a 911 call from the TJ Maxx in Palm Coast after employees reported two women stealing merchandise. The suspects, 33-year-old Marina Ailez and 26-year-old Kalia Thomas, were seen filling a black bag with clothing before walking out without paying. When confronted by staff, they fled the scene. But when deputies arrived and finally tracked down their vehicle, what seemed like a petty theft quickly unraveled into something far more alarming. >> How you doing?
