Here's the video, Jamie. I know this has been weighing on you for a while. I know the truth is in there. I know it. Like I said, I can't tell you why. I know, but I know it. I know it's in there. But there's there's a lot of stuff we don't know, and there's a lot of holes I don't have that we need to figure out. And I think that me and you can do the right thing today, and we can solve this. On May 9th, 2025, in the Yelm area of Thirstston County, Washington, James Daniel Lewis was brought in for questioning in connection with the death of Amanda Green, who had died as a result of a gunshot wound. Spoiler details are in the video description, and the full results of all charges in the case are laid out at the end of the video. >> Couple things going on here today. One, you got your DLC warrant. That's easy to go take care of your whatever 10 days or whatever it is. >> Two, you didn't register once you got released from jail. >> Yeah. >> What happened there, man? >> Um, so when I went to jail, uh, still in my house and so I didn't have a place to go and with the restraining order, I couldn't go back home. >> You talk about that place on 149 or whatever. >> I couldn't go back home. I've been there since ' 91. >> Yeah. Like your uh >> my grandma is my grandma's house and she sold it and the guy that's Joe the guy that owns it out my grandma sold it to him and he just wanted me to stay there >> cuz I knew her all the plumbing was and the wiring and I knew the ins and outs of the property. >> When So you you grew up there? >> I grew up there. >> Were you born in '91? >> You were three. You moved there? >> Yeah. >> Cool. >> When did the property sell? four years ago, I think. >> Oh, yeah. >> Okay. Um, >> then I really didn't have no other place to go. So, whenever I left there, I >> couldn't register, you know, and then I went to Josh and Payton's house and >> they didn't want me to register there. >> So, it was the plan and all that. >> Yeah. And then I was just bouncing between calc. >> You do know that you can register as homeless, right? >> I did. Yeah, you guys check in. It's like once a week you got to come in and just you got to come here and check in. >> Okay. >> Like, hey, still checking in. Still nothing changed or whatever. They just check your box and move on. So, this doesn't happen. Just um how much how did Joe get that property? >> Like I got money or something. >> Yeah. And so he just got lucky because McGold for like 250,000 >> and uh >> did she know him or something? >> She put it on the list. It was less than a week and it was sold. >> He put 40,000 down a good faith payment or whatever >> and then finish it up. Was like a month, not even a month. And >> you must have money from something else. >> These little little tunes. >> Oh. or >> I've talked to him a few times. I'm like, man, there's >> he's >> I think I think he's I think he's a little bit >> because there's certain things he's super smart at whenever it comes to bicycles. He's he's a [ __ ] guru. >> I mean, he's the 12 fastest person in the world and the fifth fastest person in the United States on a bike. >> 0 to 0 to 68 within 5 minutes of 5 miles. He was 68 miles hour. on the track in Portland. That is crazy. How long did he do that? >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Damn. He was >> He's still gray hair. I've seen pictures of this. >> That's wild. >> Yeah. He's got that in the house. But I mean, he's a hoarder. Don't you think? >> Well, I mean, if you look at look at the property on like Zillow, right? >> Nice place. >> Not a bit of garbage on the ground. I mean, it's took me 20 years and really busted my ass to have that property advent for it to look like it does now. This is real. >> Yeah. I ain't going to go there and do anything about it. It's bad. Garbage everywhere. Okay. My property there, dude. Who's who he has the order? Who has the order against you? What's his name again? Tims. He doesn't want to do it. Just you think he's ever going to leave. >> He got a place to go back. You can't. >> Yeah. I don't need to cut you off. At some point my sergeant might come in surprised by that city might be popping in here. Um I mean at some point something be done with that property like the state the county the county is not going to let that go for too long. >> No we got what 12 or 13 people living there you know. Just getting V out of there. That was that was a [ __ ] >> challenge. Yeah. >> Stealing cars left and right. Always problem. >> Dude is a huge problem. He's really good at running through the cops. Really good runners. I'm like, how the hell do you get out of what the hell? >> Some people dude when they get that fighter flight the flight kicks in, they can go. >> You got like a sixent. Yeah, I'm sorry. It's just No, I hear you, man. I I don't I don't love my property as well. I've been there my whole life, but when you put work and effort into something and then you watch what happens to it, it's tough. You see, your [ __ ] please. Yeah. Yeah. You feel a little protective of it, don't you? Yeah. All right. Um, I'll just tell you a little bit about myself. >> Yeah. >> Um, I've been a cop for like 13 years now. About like this or so. I work in the drug unit. >> Yeah. >> Cases, you know, fugitives, stuff like that. The fun stuff. And then when the time was up, I came here from a general detective, not the sheriff's office. Um, I work a range of cases, sex or sex offender registry stuff, but I a lot on that topic of the advice like you can register as homeless. If you have a house you're staying on and you guys need to update it, if you're couch surfing going 100 miles and they're like trying to find a place to be, there's an option for that. They don't want to just continually wreck the the people who don't have money or don't have houses, right? Like that's people put in charge on people house. Um, so anyway, I've been a general detective now for a few months. I like to think that the direct unit stuff helped me out a little bit, like more fun cases, but at least kind of gives you some experience in detective level stuff. But I was on a case that's pretty old. >> Okay. >> Um, I think you might be able to help me out with it. So that's why I'm here talking to you. Show your picture. >> Yeah. You know who that is? >> Yeah. I think that through Kelly Ray. Okay. They were dating. Were they >> Do you know what happened to her? Um, last time I seen him, we smoked and he wanted me to pull a GPS out of a box truck with a rental. >> Oh, like a SP truck or something. >> No, you box truck. >> Okay. GPS or something? >> Yeah. She was like, I don't know, had it for like a month or something like that and she wanted to sell it. >> Yeah, >> sell it. >> She wanted to sell it. She wanted to sell it or keep it or something. If she wanted to get the GPS out, I want to keep the battery out. You know, once the battery's on, then the GPS is activated. >> Yeah, >> I'm very good at mechanic work. The last time I seen her, her and my my girlfriend Jessica, she lives out property right now. >> My ex-girlfriend Jessica, they got in an argument because their tribe still like each other. >> And so my tri got me somewhere up here. I think they went to school together or something. I don't think I did. Yeah, cuz Jessica lived in uh Tacoma for a while, >> but then she moved to Oregon and then she came back up here. But I guess Grand Round has issues with one of the tribes up here or something. >> Where's Jessica from? What tribe? the grand ground. >> Oh, that's like how that went. >> Just call me, you know, the man who called Jessica liar. Jessica was like, "What you talking about?" Just delete it. And then she left. >> What time of day was that? What time of day was that? >> It was light out, dark out. >> It was light out >> like midday. >> Yeah. >> Do you know like time of year? Weather was like we're talking about years ago, right? >> Uh it just like springtime maybe. >> You know, it was it was very beautiful that day, you know. >> Usually I don't like keep track of that type of stuff, but that particular day was far away. cuz we were when we were talking, we were talking underneath my giant maple tree. It's right by my house. I remember all the uh bloss cherry blossoms and my apple trees were blooming and stuff. I kind of remember that because I thought it was kind of weird because I had her She also introduced me to her cousin passed away. Um Andrew Holden. >> Yeah. and he moved in. That was one of the things that she was coming over to talk to me about cuz he needed a place to stay and I said that's fine. And so he moved trailer. Okay. >> But I didn't see now that was weird because she wasn't with him. She came before he came and she left and she didn't come back. and he came in and I was trying to get a hold of her. I was trying to figure out what what the situation was. >> Nobody's really >> what uh filled me in. >> Where was Kelly got through this? >> Kelly was at his house and he was >> live somewhere around there. >> Yeah, it was like a less than a mile away. Um he was right down the road. His brother Dave was coming in and out, you know, he was coming around and stuff. Um, but yeah, Andrew did all his stuff, had the trailer, the truck that he was in was stolen and the cops come and it was just it was weird. It was very weird. >> He came after she left. >> Yeah, it was a weird situation. I mean, it's just like >> she came to ask talk to me about it, right? And so I was like, "Yeah, that's fine." you know, didn't care because I was helping people out at the time, you know, was like, "Well, if I get them off the street, I can help them out. That's what I like to do, you know." But then I got Andrew asking me where she's at. I'm like, "Dude, I haven't seen her." And then Chewy comes. Chewy, I guess, her cousin or something like that. Her name is Desiree, and she's on tribe counsel. I squali tribe. I don't know. She used to be in dope a lot, but now she's out very proud of her actually. I met her when I was 15. I was in the NA or >> so. Desiree goes by Chewy, you said. >> Yeah. >> And that was her cousin, you said. >> I think so. He was also Andrew's cousin too. And so Andrew came up missing. He was only gone for like a week, but u he came up missing. She's like, "Oh, because at the time man was already reported missing." And so she's thinking something's going on there. And I'm like, "No, I seriously haven't seen him, you know." And he came back. I was like, "You need to call my cousin cuz she's thinking some weird shit." >> Yeah. So, >> okay. >> He did. He ended up calling her back and but then he ended up like a month later ODing and swallowing >> the pines by the pines or something. I don't know if he actually did or not, but I all I know about that is his dad called me up and was threatening me and stuff like that. He killed my son and like I do patty dude. I tried to help him. I I got retrieved his dog twice for him. You know, that's the He could You could steal everything from me. I'm still not going to do that to you. I've had everything stole from me. >> Yeah. I'm not I'm not physical, but I'm I'm not I never that that part. >> You know, obviously 10 m You made me deaf. He punched me in the head. Then I, you know, was defending myself my pipe, but that's not how the cops looked at it. Then I had one of my buddies in the back of property. He hands me a pistol. And first thing I do, whenever anybody hand me a pistol, I just I emptied it. I emptied it out. I had a tomahawk. I just got into a fight. He hands me a pistol. I dropped the bullets on the ground. And at the moment I dropped the bullets on the ground, I look over and there's an officer. I'm like, "That's a block right there, ain't it? Put it down. Put it down. Like I'm not dropping the gun down. But I was like, it's I want to say it was a set of but I don't think it was. I I really don't think do that. >> I think he was just showing me what he found on the ground. You know what I mean? >> Yeah. It was just a long time. Um, so at the time that she shows up, the man I'm talking about who always live in there at that time. At that time we had uh Dave Carlson, there was me, Jessica Hecker. So Joe was there, but Joe was back and forth. He was in the process of moving from Seattle. thought about the time you bought the property. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Carlson, you charge against >> Yeah. Let's see. Trying to think if there was anybody else there. Um heard Tony Herd. >> Yeah, he's a friend between me and Dave, Kelly. >> He was the guy that lives in the trailer like kind of at the beginning of the property. >> Was Jeff Flowers either at the time? >> No. >> No, I didn't know Jeff at that time. I've only known Jeff for maybe a year and a half, two years. And uh he was brought in by my ex Melissa Row. She she brought she brought a whole bunch of people. She started the property looking the way that it is. >> Yeah. Oh my god. She was a hoarder. She didn't just worse. I had a whole bunch of patience but lost it. >> I hear who was his girlfriend >> that brought in Jeff. >> That brought in Jeff. That was Melissa Ro. >> Okay. >> Yeah. you have to do this? >> Uh, she's now clean in North Tacoma, doing good. She's she become a better mom. Now, that took a little bit of coaching, but then I had to make it seem like it was her idea. >> She hates people telling her what to do. So, I had to kind of make it seem like everything was her idea. It was It was It was hard, but I She did a good job every day. Okay. Um, how long was Amanda there? >> She just came over like a couple hours. >> Oh, like not even a day. She showed up. >> She showed up, smoked. She talked about that. got to go with Jess and left. Then Andrew showed up. Same day or like later on like the next day. It could even been that day cuz he showed up tonight. So where did Kelly bring her over there or is he like how did that go? He brought her over there and then that same day they got into an argument or fight or something. Kelly still there. Are you having or did you drop her off? >> No. No. So she just walked up on >> at the end. Yeah. It was towards the end of the day she just walked up and she said she got in a fight with um Kelly and then I don't even know the guy's name but then the guy come pick her up. He had a Tender. This is a like a Toyota pickup truck. Newer one though. That was either Tender or Takoma or something. And uh >> you have no idea who that was though. >> No, he seemed nice though. Very quiet, kept himself. Okay. And then uh she said she was coming back and she was going over Charlie. You want to try this? >> Did you know that she went missing after that? >> No. When I found out that she missed me that was well first I Andrew Andrew was like two weeks a after kept asking me have you heard from her I haven't heard from her I've had her friends call me up because she didn't have a phone at the time or whatever and they're like hey is no I haven't seen her you know and it was just it was weird. Yeah, >> it's virtue where everything happened. >> So to your knowledge, like I said, we're trying to piece it together, >> right? >> If a lot of people were saying the last place they saw was at your place, last place last person you know her to be with them and was the guy who's under >> right and she was going to Charlie, but she she goes to Charlie's a lot whenever I I knew her. I only knew her for like two weeks. two weeks when she was dating Kelly and I took my motor home back because Kelly was uh trying to take it. I had it parked at his house for a minute and then she started to tear everything apart inside it, which I didn't mind because it had bul damage and stuff, but Kelly was trying to do something where he was going to keep it. Keep it. And I was like, "No, I don't." Then I brought her over to my house. Then they got into a fight and then she asked if she could stay in it. I told her I didn't care. I didn't care. But she never got chance to stay in it. She just came back. >> So, >> so she was she at Kelly's for a while now? >> Probably a month or so. >> She was there for a couple weeks before I met her cuz I was like, "What happened?" You know, he just didn't tell me. But he did. He was supposed to come up and help me and Joe move from Seattle. We were He did like 40 box truckloads of [ __ ] to this house. Yeah, it was a lot. >> That was just a big end. >> It was just a big turnout. >> $60,000 fuel just moving it from Georgetown to here in that box truck broke down three times every time it did a trip and it was just fiasco. >> Okay. Um, did you ever talk to Kelly after the fact? Did you ever ask him like whatever happened to her? >> Well, I mean, I asked him, but he's like, "She went to your house." We We had a big old falling out because of it because she came over to my house and was like, "You kicked her out of your place. You guys got an argument. You kicked her out and she came here and then you don't want to be friends because you're friends with her." Like, doesn't didn't make any sense. It's like he knows how I am. Especially whenever it comes to friends. If my friends are fighting, I don't get in the middle of it, you know? I just I won't let him, you know, kill each other or whatever, but I'm not going to like take sides or nothing. And so when he get down, I was like, well, I can't just let anybody just stand, you know, we'll be s on the streets. You're my friend. I bring you in my house and I'm and then I'll be out. But I did I said okay when I came to her there I said yeah that's fine even though they were she was beefing with my girlfriend. I didn't care about that. I was like whatever. >> Yeah. >> But she left with that guy. I'm trying to remember his name cuz I know it did say his name. Can't What color? It's like gray blueish. Yeah. Go drink me. We're going to his place cuz she was actually supposed to pick up [ __ ] for me. you know, she was going to go pick up [ __ ] and but she never came back with it. >> Oh, she was pick up for you. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. At the time, you know, I kind of still do that. >> But is that what you get? >> Yeah. How much? like it helps give her 200 bucks just I didn't suspect her to be the one you know the type just like take your money run >> but I've heard bad things about her through some of her friends and she had a lot of friends but she also has a lot of enemies she was hard to be all my friends are kind hard to be around. Like Tim, he's kind of hard to be around. He's an [ __ ] but I know a different side of me, if that makes sense. You know, like there's there's people that are [ __ ] to everybody, but then there's like the one person that's like, I don't know what the hell you're talking about. I never seen you do that. >> I'm pretty much out. >> [ __ ] Didn't expect it. Yeah. And I don't understand how he thinks I stole his tool box when I was sleeping in a dump truck. I was sleeping in a dump truck and I had Black's stuff like filled up the back of dump truck cuz I was moving him and came home park. Toolbox was there everywhere. I went to sleep and I woke up in the morning like three tool boxes were gone. I had a shed in the back and he thought I stole. I'm like, "Dude, same. They were here last night." I went to sleep and now they're gone. And you say, "I stole them." Did you hear the dump truck running? Cuz I think they got straight bites, you know. No, still this day thinks probably stole his toolbox. It just doesn't >> Some people just make assumptions and run with it or they hear something from somebody as fast as I can. >> Me, I I kept order on the property and well, I tried to obviously they they won because look at it. It's nothing like it used to be. >> Yeah. >> And then I get irritated about it, but then like with Tim and Jeff, they found out that like I'm a sex banner and their attitudes I I can almost tell you the day that their attitudes changed when they found out. And it's been a battle since it was tough. >> Somebody pass that stigma sometimes. It's it's ridiculous sometimes just the level of [ __ ] that I have to deal with because of it, you know. And so I know the rumor mills get going, have you heard what happened? Like any rumors about what happened to her, where she went, what happened in like that. She said she was making a documentary on the serial kill. I do remember talking to her about that >> and she's like she's hunting down somebody or whatever and I'm like that's kind of weird. Then I thought about it for a second. I'm like I actually asked her like is that what you're telling you a little you know couple screws loose there? you see me, but I was like, h, well, hanging around here, nothing like that just going around my house, you know? So, we don't do that [ __ ] around here. And we never got to finish that conversation >> because she was like, I'm making a documentary. I want to [ __ ] see it, right? >> You know, who who have you found so far? You know, where's it lead you to? you know that thing >> cuz I I kind of like those shows those little documentaries and stuff but >> yeah they're interesting. >> Oh yeah he was trying something else. He was a womanizer but he was smart. He was on he was in power. He had political power. He had all sorts of weird [ __ ] going >> and he just and then my dad knew the green river killer because he worked at Kenward. >> Oh really? >> Yeah. And he was so he was painting a camera truck company up Walter Fost and my dad met him a couple times doing work for him. He said, "Yeah, you would never suspect that guy to be a serial killer." I was like, "Huh, I guess my my stepmom Pam she could rode in the car with him one time." That's like a family friend or something. I' I've heard of I've heard that before like the the whole sewer code like people around him don't even know that they're he can never do so. >> Yeah, it's wild is a really interesting case. I mean both of them are pretty help or something like that. I don't remember if it was him, but one of them did that you talk to the tech trying to tell him like what to be looking for, how to interview him or like once you find this guy, this is what you do when you interview him. >> Which is interesting, too. He's like, I understand this guy. >> You don't like you don't know how to interview him. So, >> um it's interesting to try to get you can't >> every time I try I'm like I just don't I can't understand how you can be so normal and then >> right >> so not at the exact same time. It's crazy. Well, I know whenever came whenever me and my dad found my sister, she hung her over my property. Busted me. Yeah. She was having trouble. But the way we found her just didn't seem right. >> That was Chelsea Glaz. >> How long ago was that? >> No, like seven years ago, maybe that still [ __ ] with me. My dad me and my dad walked around the corner bar. This one goes to that property. >> Yeah, it's pretty close. It's like I was the only one that was like had her back and she was homeless. I see her on the side of the road walking. I'm like, "What the hell are you doing?" I didn't know you're back from Texas. She was back from Texas and she said, "I'm homeless." She had a bag of stuff and I was like, "No, you're my sister. Come out. Nobody's out of the house. Nobody's going to tell you you can't [ __ ] come here. And she came there. I guess she was doing math or something. And the day the day before she actually did it, I threw the rope in the woods cuz she hating herself. >> I tried to stop her and then I thought she went to her friend's house. But I'll take you on. No, you're good. A lot of loss. >> Yeah. One minute. Okay. I've just I've dealt with a lot of loss. >> Yeah. >> Goodman. >> What's that? >> Calvin Goodman. They got Tony Bucking He at his house. >> I was telling you what was it? You know, these little things make someone who they are, right? Everyone's got their own story and how they work through stuff. We haven't I mean, we're we're talking about stuff that happened more recently, saying like seven years ago, your sister and then people have died more recently. I'm assuming you got childhood trauma that goes a ways back, don't you? >> Did my sister were kidnapped when you were 13 people. >> All right. My sister started talking about it. God, father, have you heard the podcast American visualiz episode 11? Dee is my sister. What's that? >> Episode 11. >> It's I only listen to a few of them. episode 11 is Dee and that's when we were his first first case >> of getting kids back that were kidnapped >> and yeah we started out way back then before before we were kidnapped everything was normal just I feel like ever since then everything was been blown apart. >> There's a lot of studies and stuff about formative years, things that happen during formative years and how they'll affect so many their whole life, right? Decisions they make, thought processes, things like that. >> Look at it like this. My sister won't send her kid to a daycare. None of her kids go to a daycare that she is super protected. And it's because of what we've gone through is is because we have been kidnapped. We were playing in the street, just got snatched up. me. I won't have my kids around me because I do drugs and I'm around people that do that. And >> and that's that's part that part goes with it. It's the uh the addiction addiction that it's like it's a disease, right? Yeah. >> But a lot of times it's like its basis or where it comes kind of like the first that first cancer system. It comes from childhood trauma. I've figured out everybody that I've talked to that has had addictive like were addicted to drugs either they've lost family members >> family members were took it away or they can't have them. >> Well, there's it all is based on your family. >> Yeah. >> Because whenever I was around my kids, I didn't I didn't even drink if they were wait because of one time I drank. while my son was awake. He burned himself his whole arm. He landed on the wood stove and I felt like [ __ ] and I wouldn't drink around after that. After that, I was like, "Nope, I they got to be sleeping, you know, because we she was drunk, I was drunk, everyone was drunk. We couldn't take him to the hospital. I had to wake my grandma." >> Yeah. >> And you know, I'm like, I'm not doing that. If we need to if we need to get to the hospital, we need to get to the hospital. And 2 months later, we're camping and I find out my son's allergic to eggs, wheat, and peanut butter because that camping morning, we gave him scrambled eggs on a peanut butter jelly sandwich and whole wheat bread. And then we went hiking and about halfway in the hike, he turned purple. And we're like 45 minutes away from Yakima. My sister stayed up, you know, speeded Yakima and got him to the hospital just in time. But that was scary, too. It was like, [ __ ] this burns himself. He's allergic to all these weird foods. And well, it's not weird foods, it's foods in everything. So, I'm going to learn how to cook well like shoes. >> Yeah. Learn how to cook without eggs, wheat, or peanut butter. It's >> what? >> Uh 16, 14, >> and almost 10. the the charge that I have in the leg was the product of that charge and I got chick I got I got a chick pregnant and >> and that's how I got my charge and my youngest daughter because I don't believe in abortions >> um was adopted out by her aunt >> and she lives in North Pole Alaska her aunt's like a scientist there whatever so >> that was the only one out of both of our families that I you know, that I thought was a good candidate. I I picked her while I was in prison. >> You know, it was on her mom's side. But >> how much time did you do in prison? >> Only a year. >> I only got to I only got to >> Yeah. I got to Sheldon, I got to rob, but I was only there for like a month and then I got released. I did more more time in the county. >> Yeah, for sure. >> $50,000 to pay the back court. I paid $50,000 back support >> at 100 bucks a day. It sucks. >> Yeah. I don't like it. >> No, >> that's years almost three years. Child support. Yeah. I even lost a job. The judges didn't I don't know. I had a job at Mo started 75 bucks an hour. I was going to be electrical engineer when my grandma trained me for. She worked for 20 years. She pulled strings to get me the job. I got the job. But that morning, the first my first day I had to go to court and my boss was like, "All right, when you're done with court, because I know a lot of court works. When you're done with court, come in to work." And I got thrown in jail instead. and I lost my job. >> And I was like, that seems kind I even told the judge, it seems kind of productive. I'm supposed to be playing child support. I got this job that I can actually pay child support and they're going to throw me in jail. It was child support for child support. And I I had like you could call my boss. Hey, you told the judges call my boss, you know. And sometimes the system doesn't doesn't really help out, does it? I can see that. It's I mean I deal with a lot of [ __ ] >> and then then being a sex offender on top of the people that I'm around. It's hard. Yeah, it's tough. That's that's what I'm saying. I guess like the journey we all take. Some people have a smooth sailing pretty easy and it's pretty easy to make good decisions when there's when it's >> Yeah. >> You know what they say make great sailor or whatever. It's kind of the same thing like it's easy to navigate life when your decisions are all super easy to make. Right. Like >> you don't have to make a difficult difficult life. It's easy to make the right decisions. Right. >> Now I can't say that people's lives when they grow up with a silver spoon because I I sit there and I think about it. Like I grew up with so much food, but my grandma had a good job >> for some time, right? >> You know, my grandma had a good job. All you know, we've always had money, but she wouldn't just give me the money. I started working when I was 13 and a half because I want to go to the movies and she didn't want to give me the money. She'd go get a job. And so I asked my dad if I could work across. I did that and I paid for all my movies that way. But yeah, I mean even still like I wasn't kidnapped at 13, >> right? >> My my sibling I haven't seen my sibling >> in the condition that you found your sister in. Like all these things that that happened to you like I'm saying I can empathize for sure how you got where you got right. Like I didn't have to deal with any of that and I had it pretty good. Like I mean I've been smooth sailing for a little while like so and then >> I also put myself I can't say that like it's all bad luck and I do put myself in positions to be hurt >> you know I also I would want to be a cop when I was growing up you Yeah. >> And but somewhere down the line I I stopped because I was like, well, to help people where you got you got to go to where the people need help. And I found out people that need help were like the people that are on drugs >> because of my mom. My mom was been very my whole life and not seeing her until I was like 18 and then wanting her in my life and she still like she scares the [ __ ] out of me all the time. She's still fett and cheer on her. No, she doesn't make and it's like I'm expecting a phone call. All my friends, all my family. Hunter, you're doing great. >> Yeah, >> he's clean. >> It was about time for Hunter. >> I've only known him for like six months. I'm super proud of him. I'm super proud of him. I guess she still cares all the time and just >> he like to run too. >> He enjoys pretty sure he enjoys >> he likes running. But with Hunter, I see there was he was always listening whenever I would talk or something like that or I would do something because I could fix I could fix it. pretty smart. >> And he Oh, I've been watching and he was always paying attention to me for some reason. >> Yeah. >> Always always paying attention. >> Yeah. >> And then not that long ago, he's like, "We're going on the summer train." I thought that was a [ __ ] So he told everybody, "I can talk with you if you're doing it." And so figure it out. You either hop on the bus or you [ __ ] kick rocks. >> And so yeah, a lot of friends disappeared. >> You got to do though. >> Well, he knows that he can't not not do it. >> And in order to change that, you got to change your surroundings. Everything you got to change, you know. So that's why I simply said I'm proud of him. The hunters, he got potential and he really loves to dirt bikes. >> Yeah, Ernie's uh pretty good. >> He is. Uh Eddie Garris actually taught him when he was a kid and so he he knows how to >> he knows how to ride and he said he wanted to go pro. I said then go for it. you know, hey, if you got the skills, that's why he was training over there off of uh what's in little Little Little Rock. They got the tractor behind there. >> Mhm. >> And uh he was training. The guy charges 150 bucks, >> but seeing the hunter was actually doesn't really charge him. >> So, likes to do that a lot. >> He's good at it. So, he's quit dope. He's, you know, I guess you got to try to go. I think I hope he does. >> Yeah, >> I hope he does. There's a story, too. He's had a right plan as well. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> He's been through it kind of similar to you. >> Yeah. And for him to pull himself out of it, I kind of need to pull myself out of it. >> Yeah. Well, you look at Hunter, right? Like he he had a few years as well. >> Yeah. >> And he's getting getting his [ __ ] together. >> I heard I heard him and I never met him and his story hit yelling, you know, >> to call him and [ __ ] and I'm just like, "Oh my god." >> He So I'd like to say he's a different person than he was a few years back. >> He's a different person than he was six months ago. >> Six months ago. the him and his cousin Richie, you know, Richie was known for years. He not not a good not a good guy, but Richie got off the the fent the downers, which made him a mean person, >> you know, and when I first met Richie, he was a mean person. He's off it now. He's one of the coolest people you can hang around. He's actually doing very well for so my question is is do you see yourself as a better person than you were in 2021? >> I don't I don't think so, you know, because I even though I've been helping people, I've been help myself. I still have the same problems. I still the same PTSD from childhood to see my sisters, my friends. I lost two family members. >> This case has been sitting for for four years now, 2021, right? Um I've been assigned it for a short period of that time, but people have been chipping away on it and working on it, too. gathering stuff. I guess we're kind of going with that is that we we do have some stuff to go off. There is some evidence in the case. Um some not really lining up what you're saying today. Um and I get that, man. Like I years can change a person, right? Years can make memory tough. We're talking years ago, right? like little little details, length of time, timeline, things like that. I get those be hard, right? But there's stuff as well that we know about, >> right? >> Like tangible, right? >> Not not testimony, not person saying this or that or tweeter or tangible evidence I can go put in the property room, right? And I get the need to want to protect whether it's protect yourself or protect someone else or protect someone you love especially when you're deal. But I think that I just want you to fully grasp it like she she has a family as well. She has a family desperately wants answers. They're they're dealing with loss as well much like what you're dealing with. But they don't have any answers. They don't even know what happened. We're I'm working to help them. That's that's what motivates me. My paycheck doesn't motivate me. If my paycheck motivated me, I wouldn't be here. I don't make a ton of money to do this. I don't make more money doing anything else. >> Um I want answers for them. And it's kind of the same thing like I sympathize a lot like I I'm kind I kind of feel like I'm a lot like you. Like I want to help people. I want I want to make this place better. I want someone who's struggling. I want to see them get better. And without answers, without closure, that's really, really hard to do, >> right? >> But what I don't what I don't get is when you came out missing that Andrew told me and all the all the stuff that's been going on. I could have gave you guys this information a long time ago, >> but I'll counter that. I'm not trying to be a daycare, but some of the information, some of the information you gave me probably wouldn't be helpful. >> It's not true. >> Everything I told you today was true. >> It's not true. So, like I said, I understand the desire to protect I think we need to start over a little bit with the with the thought in the minds like we're both here to help somebody out and it's not either of us. We're not here me and you aren't in this room to help each other. I'm going to at the end of the day we're doing good work. I can tell you there's I can't there's a lot of stuff I can't tell you. It's makes it tough because I'd like to be able to just tell you everything and say, "Let me be 100% open and honest with you." I'll tell you, I'll be honest with you, but I can't be 100% open because there are some legally I have rules and stuff I have to follow. But I can tell you for a fact that I know she was murdered on that property. It's time for some answers, man. It's been four years, man. Could you imagine? That's your daughter. >> That's your sister. >> Yeah, >> that's your sister. I don't think she did that to herself. >> So, you can sympathize with it a little bit. You understand? >> I know exactly what they're going through because I mean, I don't I don't think my sister if I could. I mean, yeah, I threw the rope from her the day before, but I wouldn't see it like it doesn't it's too much was going on for it to be just suicide. Yeah, >> my buddy Ted Castle shot himself in the back of the head. We were both trained by Fred Stark gun safety. We don't shoot ourselves in the back. I mean, I shot myself in the hip. I'm not going to lie. Okay. And >> that was about four years ago, too. It was about the same time. >> And Jamie, I know this has been waiting on you for a while. I know the truth is in there. I know it. Like I said, I can't tell you why I know, but I know it. I know it's in there, but there's there's a lot of stuff we don't know, and there's a lot of holes I don't have that we need to figure out. And I think that me and you can do the right thing today and we can solve this. Just me and you in this room and we can figure it out. >> What's that? >> The people that are around are dangerous. >> Yeah, >> they are. >> Well, let's make today the turning point then. You're here with me now. I'm not dangerous. I'm not going to do nothing to you. And from here on out, we can make the right decisions. We don't have to be around these people. We don't have to worry about what they think or say about us. Me, you together can follow this right here, right now, and do the right thing. There's a there's a corner you got to turn. Like you said, so you haven't helped yourself yet. You haven't healed. It's time to do something for yourself. And holding on to something that's just pulling on the back of your brain your entire life, you're never going to heal, dude. It's not going to happen. This is going to be your life forever unless you turn the corner and make a decision right now to do the right thing. Like I said, I can't tell you everything I know, but I can tell you one thing I don't know. It's where she at. And that's what I want to figure out. And that's why I know we can do the right thing and we can make this right. We can we can begin the healing process today. right now. You're not a bad guy. I know that. I can do that. Talk to you. I know how long it's been. It's not been very long. I've known you for a very short period of time, but I can see your heart. You wear You wear it on your shoulder, man. People that are around me. >> Why? do bad things. >> We all deal, right? Don't make bad decision do bad things. >> I think that you're you're thinking too far ahead. There's a certain point too where like maybe there is ramifications and there is things we need to deal with after the fact after we do the right thing. You can't let that stop you from doing the right thing, >> right? And and you know what? If if something bad happens because you did the right thing, and sometimes that's just to go for the process to work itself out for people to get the healing and the closure that they need. And and you've done it your whole you've sacrificed yourself for years now for people, right? So, I want to I want to start a little bit over with you with a with knowledge. I'm not condescending. I'm not trying to be an [ __ ] to you. I'm really not. I know where you're coming from and I know what you're dealing with. I can't relate to it, but I know it right. >> Yeah, I understand. >> So, work with me, will you? Do I have your words? We're going to be honest from here forward. Yeah. Healing starts today. Okay. You're going to be a different man. If you need anything, let me know. I know it's going to be hard. What are you thinking? Think about the ramifications. Oh, I believe this you can actually help me. >> What? that you can actually help me. But at the same time, I know how things go. >> Yeah. Here's the thing. Um, you can, you're right. I can't help you a ton, but you can help yourself. And there's as I'm not making any promises here, right? But as a as a as proceedings continue, cooperation and honesty and truthfulness does help you in the long run, right? That you We could wait until she's found and go about this the hard way. I'll tell you that's that's a much harder uphill battle as things go forward in the process. Like you never cooperated. If you actually like help me, it's easier for people to want to work something out for you. I tell you, my work goes far, but you got it. And I I get what when you're looking at the future future, right? But >> you're never for myself. That's what I'm saying. >> The future future I don't even expect to be the alive this long. >> Yeah. >> Killed myself so many [ __ ] times. Not because of her, because everything I've gone through. >> So what the [ __ ] >> What I guess the corner you're at now is like, are you going to continue down this path of waiting for this thing to bite you in the ass you die? Are we going to handle it head on, do the right thing, and move forward with life? It's not going to be the end of your life. Dude, you know that, right? It's not the end. So, I want I want your I want your promise that you're going to be honest with me from here forward and that me and you are going to do the right thing today. Do I have that? Did you set everything up? Okay. No, I'm telling you 100%. What I told you up to that point was 100% her. >> Okay. Except for the part where she was missing. >> She did go first. She got [ __ ] When she came back was a different story. I'm going to tell you it's what I'm going to tell you implements a few people in some other activities that pretty [ __ ] scary. The the level of scary is if I get out I'm probably going to be [ __ ] make you. So we record on paper. I'm sorry. I'm just I never for myself never ratted on anybody. I don't want to say this is right. This is This is not This is not true. Let's get back. her and Jessica's argument and not getting any better. She shows me a picture of her ammo >> of a crate of ammunition. It was green green box. I'm like that's weird. That looks just like the [ __ ] We got the container. Actually, I think I have that in particular box. Like what? And so we took I took her to the container with a good friend that I showed this to you, okay, trust me on this. I showed her the like six crates. I showed her the crate. She's like, you know who those crates belong to? Like the P tri. I'm like, what do you mean the tri? They were robbed. All their guns and ammunition and stuff were up like way back. I'm like, "How the hell do you have pictures of how you have pictures of death?" So it was like it was kind of like a weird like she's an investig right and so she's like I'm going to you know whatever. I'm like, "Okay, why you didn't get the information from me?" You know, you know, I didn't tell you this, whatever. She ends up getting, you know, at this point, we're still friends, you know, and she gets, you know, I don't know what the hell they say. She She left. I locked up the container. She left. Next thing I know, I hear yelling and stuff like that. And she keep arguing with Joe. And Joe's like, "You're not taking shit." Whatever. I'm trying to deescalate the situation. You know, I'm trying to then I got my girlfriend at the time, Jessica. She's me. They're arguing. They're fighting. And I'm just like I'm getting frustrated. What the hell? Everybody needs to calm the [ __ ] down. This is getting too hot too fast. Joe go in the house. Jessica, come with me. The smoke. Just you. I'll be right back. Just give me a second. get Jessica situated. She had a hard time walking in time. So I got her back in the road. I'm like, "Sit here for a second." Like, "You're leaving me here cuz she think I was leaving her for Jessica or Amanda." No, she didn't believe me. So then I go outside and trying to talk to man's calling her buddies or whatever and I'm like, "What's going on? You need to tell me was what are you what are you doing? What was the argument between you and Joe?" You still didn't tell me. I I still this day don't even know what they were arguing about, but I all I know is he is really bad and really fast. Then I'm just telling you how I how I've experienced everything. There might be things that are missing that I don't know about. Okay. So, I'm just telling you what happened to that point. Kelly comes over. So, then I got all this this going on and I got Kelly there and Kelly's mad at me because I'm helping her out and it's like, you can't deal with this right now. Okay. This is way too much. Kelly, why you didn't get into a fight with her? What did you do? What did you do? Try to get to the bottom of all this cuz I more information I got more I can help. >> Try and get the bottom with Kelly. Kelly's being just difficult. >> Go home. We're not friends anymore. Then whatever. If that's how you want to do it, then that's that's how it's going to be. But you kick somebody out and you send them my way. I'm going to help them. It's not Everybody knows me. So it's like if you don't like that about me, you're my friend for who I am, not what you want me to be. So he went home. He was brother Dave was there. um Carlson and she just I told her to go hang out when my mother brought tomorrow back. I don't I'll figure something out. And she left again with with I can't remember his name, but he's in that that truck. And I do believe she went to a Charlie's again, but then Joe started to get really agitated, like mad, almost I would say it's under the level pissed off he was um was scared and uh When she came back, Joe had built a wall of tires top the property. Have you been here? How long How long you gone? Probably a whole day. Okay. So, she like she a whole day. Yeah, I've been there. Um, so you know where the the limo was? >> Mhm. >> On top of the hill. Yeah. Well, he built a wall of tires across that and he stand up on top of the hill waiting for because she said she was coming back and when she comes back with friends she going to she going to take a take everything you stole from. No, you're not. That was her argument. So I'm expecting he was expecting company, right? when she came back with his sister. We got to tell her left. They continued their argument. It was traumatic for 13 hours. I'm so mad right now because when her family members keep me solution 13 I understandations of helping Joe get myself into right But he me my life and I've seen things in my life. He's been threatening me this whole time. I've been waiting for you guys to come to me long. I've been waiting for 4 years. Where the problem? Where's the break box? Right there is the telephone. The breaker box. The breaker box was She was facing me. I was by the shed. Well, the shed wasn't there. I was pointing towards the house. She was talking to me. Joe was on the porch. So this this is the house, right? >> Maple tree right here. >> Yeah. >> That covers like a good corner of the house. >> It's like lean up against the house. So >> we're like on the outer. So I was here like almost in the road. >> Mhm. >> And she was there. Joe was on the porch. Porch is like right. >> There's a big rock. >> Yeah. >> In the steps. >> On the steps. >> And he did that. >> Where did he shoot that? >> 22. >> There was no blood. really do believe me. I haven't been able to go to the hospital, but two years ago, I remember bullets went above my head and then I got mad all of a sudden. I think I was hitting the head too because he thought I stole a bunch of guns. And so I believe he's trying to kill me this whole time. On top of that, I hope the body like I just want to make sure that I don't care about that. I just But the [ __ ] that's happening around me, nobody should have to deal with that. I witnessed you. >> Real quick, Jamie, I want to remind you that >> we did just shake hands. We love each other. You probably tell the truth, right? >> I'm telling you the truth and I'm I'm going to >> I'm getting to it. >> I can't tell you what I know. I know. >> But you look me. >> I did. And I'm telling you. >> Okay. I am. Come on. This is your story. This is your story to tell. I'm telling my story and I know what you're doing. These people have been defended against me. Okay, it may seem unbelievable and you know I'm not going to jail for the [ __ ] that he did. job the [ __ ] that I did and I so after that happens then what do you guys do anything or try to cover up or anything? Yeah. Car truck >> below this on the property. It's >> Yeah. 69. Okay. You have somewhere else. Is it still there? >> No, it doesn't run. But yes, you just All right. So, you let her up in the back of the truck. Let me take your Can you show me a map on your phone? Can't see. >> Yep. >> Dangerous people. risks. But you know what? Like you said, >> it's not about >> it's not about it's not about us anymore. about and but you know what you're doing right >> what what what did they do for me besides destroy my life and continue to [ __ ] destroy my life then I can't even live in peace I have to live in fear this whole But like you said, I mean your outlook on life, it'll be dramatically different moving forward. You are doing the right thing. You got to take you got to take solace in that. >> I'm feeling better >> about this because I haven't had I'm done. I'm done hiding. >> I'm done hiding. So there's a campsite. There's campsite over here. One of these one of these roads. There's a there's a camp there. One of these roads. I went down it. I remember going a little turn little turn. A hard turn. There was like a almost a N group, but there was like a a government but like a like a little cabin type thing right on the right side. So, it's going around the corner. It's right here. It's got a gate. Right when you turn, you go down. There was one pole off. Then there was another like gravel road on the left and you go back a quarter mile in there. We found a camping spot with a area there. There was nothing. It just went there was like a creek maybe like a creek running really close to us. Yeah, >> this was right. Okay, so I heard the crank. Maybe I did cross because this doesn't look like Is this an actual road? I don't know. It looks like I mean I'm going to guess it's gravel, but I don't I don't know for sure. the seat. Gravel, >> yeah, gravel. Okay, so probably not that. But there was a But the shape that's kind of how I turned. There's a government building up. >> Yeah, because it had a gate like a little facility. Yeah, it'll be the turn here. from the road. >> Yeah. So, it's it's on the left. >> Yeah. Okay. >> No, it's just it's just kind of flat. Um >> Yes. It's underneath the tree. >> We're talking right in this general area, right? >> Yeah. It's a It's a There's a road. There's a road. There's a campsite. There's campsites there. Like they have little spots you can pull off, do camping. There's a campsite there. road. You think? >> Yeah. One of those. It's like It's right It's probably within 100 200 feet of that building. >> Okay. >> On the opposite side of the road is the building. >> One of the pulloffs you couldn't go on it with a with a regular vehicle >> because it was like a a hump, like a dirt bike jump or whatever. And then the next one, that's the one we wanted to do. >> Okay. If we drove out there, would you show me? >> Yeah, I would. I tell you exactly where to do that. >> Okay. Give me a minute. Okay. >> Take a little break. I got to use your restroom. Do you need to use your restroom at all? >> Not right now. >> Okay. >> Just let me know. We'll we'll work it out. But I got to understand.
