Oh, mom, dad, if you ever watch this, I love you. I'm sorry. Should never have done it. Just snapped. Just [ __ ] snatched. In June 2019, in Akran, Ohio, 68-year-old antiques dealer Mary Kay. Katie Wolffarth was killed at a self-s storage facility on East Tall Match Avenue. Wolffarth rented a unit there and had assisted 35-year-old local handyman Michael J. Olsen with cleaning his nearby unit. Her family reported her missing on June 17th. On June 19th, her body was found inside Olsen's rented storage unit at the same facility. Surveillance video captured Olsen entering Wolffart's unit and later driving away in her vehicle. The full case summary is in the video description, followed by criminal conviction and sentencing details at the end of the video. It's not always like how it is on TV. >> No, I know that. I know that for sure. That uh God know a lot of girls are saying. >> Okay. Go by Mike. Michael Mike. Okay. Uh I'm Sergeant Tony Sarvaji. >> I don't know what that you uh met Detective Brian. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Uh since you're in cuffs, so >> I got to read you these. All right. These are your road. >> Yeah. Then I just need some verbal acknowledgement. Yes or no? Do you understand? Yes. >> Uh you have the right to remain silent. You understand? >> Yes. >> Uh anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. Do you understand that? >> Yes. >> You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him present with you while you're being questioned. Do you understand that right? >> Yes. >> If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning if you wish. Do you understand that? >> Yes. You can decide at any time to uh exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. You understand that, right? >> Yes. >> Understand all the rights I just read to you. >> Just tell me. >> Okay. >> Um All right. Uh Ryan's going to I guess. >> Yeah. I just I know you explained a little bit out on scene there what kind of had happened. Okay. Um, so you know, I just want to kind of I like to do things formal and that's why we're down here doing this right now. Um, tell me kind of how this whole thing transpired today. Uh, I went and picked up some mulch. Uh, Bob and Ro always yells at me through a window and hey Mike. And you know my dad was leaving this morning. Hey Mike. Uh, can I use your coffee pot? So I used let use my coffee pot. I was hanging out today. My dad was out working and I was kind of doing my own thing and uh she said, you know, could you remember sitting here having a cigarette? Bob was there, you know, and I was like, uh, she goes, can you open that door for me? There's a closet door that always sticks, you know, that I usually just there's no lock on or whatever. I thought she meant that. She didn't know the bedroom door. And I went over I was like, "Oh, well, Rose is locked from the inside." Or, you know, so I was like, you know, I think you guys always keep that window open. Why don't I just go around there and yeah, I don't think you'll fit. And I was like, "No, come on, bro. I lost weight, too. I can get in there." Yeah. And so that's what I did. I helped her get a window open or a door open. Went around there and it made it look like I tried to I went to jump in. That's probably what the neighbors saw me doing. I tried to jump in first and I was like, "Well, I need a chair." Went over and I opened our freaking bedroom door. It was locked cuz Antuinette just was living there. Vince Leari, the uh landlord, he was like, I guess he tried to get him to get out of there. Sorry, I'm sorry. acting like I'm all nervous and talking and [ __ ] but I was just helping them out getting their freaking bedroom door open so they could start getting all the [ __ ] out of there. They asked me to help them get all the [ __ ] out of the basement and out of the out of the bedroom. >> What was she supposed to get out of the basement? >> Uh all the clothes, all the freaking uh the bed that was down there is cluttering up everything. They tried to have six people living in that little place. That's a the hazard. You can't do that. >> Okay. >> And my dad lives right next door. He's like, "You can't take that." >> Okay. Just so I understand that you were they yelled out the window to you >> in the morning. That was at like 8:30 this morning. Yeah. Then I was I was there. I don't What neighbor called? Because I mean, didn't the neighbor see me doing mulch? >> I I don't know which it matter. [clears throat] But dude, I was doing mulch for him. I was And that wasn't like I was charging them for anything. I went and got him a pack of cigarettes. Can you go get cigarettes, Mike, for us? Of course I did. Yeah. I've been I've been staying there since February of 18 with my dad after I moved out of my that the TPO with my ex-girlfriend and now I got now I'm freaking getting in trouble for help. >> So you were living in that house then where your dad lives too? >> Yes. Yes. Yes. Isn't that where my address is? It's on my license >> to be honest with you. I didn't pull it up. Okay. Um but yeah I don't but I wasn't for certain if that was if you were living with somebody else or >> No, it was not. This is so stupid. >> Okay. And then and then we when we came in, we arrived and you were in the basement at that time. >> Yeah. I was getting stuff out of the basement and and all of a sudden I heard, "Is there anybody here?" And I was like, "Who the [ __ ] is that?" And I was like, "Oh shit." And then I came out. I wasn't ducking down like the one officer said. I was freaking trying to get some stuff clean for him. And why why wouldn't they lie to me? Why Why would they say that I was trying to steal stuff? God, I've lived there for [clears throat] I don't know if they actually said you were trying to steal something. What are they doing here? >> Well, because they said that you they didn't know that you were in the house. >> Oh my god. Did you see how intoxicated she was? They drink all day every day. They drink a liter of kimch on damn near every day. That's why Bob has the the he has a blood alcohol monitor on his neck. I thought it was house arrest at first. And I said, "Oh my gosh, what are you doing?" They didn't recognize me when I came back cuz I've uh been stay with my mom a little bit here and there. Me and my dad butttheads. I'm not living there full on with my dad. But I will go down every once in a while, do some laundry, even when I need to get away from my mother. My mother's a bear. But Bob didn't even recognize me. >> Wait, today or yesterday? Uh, yesterday? No, >> yesterday. >> Okay. >> Yeah, Bob didn't recognize me. He thought I was Josh. >> Yes, exactly. If you get my phone, I can show you all the videos that you I have of Bob and Rose and how Come uh like probably 3 or 4 days ago. I was just being goofy and just shaving around. My cousins coming in from town. He's a Marine. I want to do something funny for him. And heck, I've never shaved my head before really. I mean, a couple times, but not like shaved it. Shaved it. Right. >> Feels kind of good. I kind of like it. A little cooler in the summer, right? >> Yeah. Exactly. That's I mean, and literally I think so. I went to a I played Warehouse baseball with a buddy of mine uh back I think I played from when I was 27 till about 30 anyway with Thurman Mson Stadium. I didn't have gel and I didn't have my hat. So I was going like this. It was in my face. I was like [ __ ] it. I'm getting rid of it. >> So today you were mulching throughout the thing there. Okay. >> And then um is that pretty much all you were doing today around the house? >> Yes, exactly. >> Um did you ever leave? >> Well, yeah, of course. So, I left to go get the mulch and then I went up uh where else did I go? Went to get them pack of cigarettes. Went to the liquor store, got down to drink. I was going to go golfing. Golf league tonight. >> Okay. I got it. >> And then uh you went to the liquor store for them. >> No, for me. >> Yeah. Okay. So, Bob's not I guess Bob's not allowed to drink anymore. He's got >> thing. Okay. >> Cuz I saw him leave the house, but you know, if it was an ankle bracelet, it would have gone off. It's a blood alcohol content monitor, I imagine. >> Okay. So, And then did you use that trailer that's in the back there? >> No. Uh my dad Okay. So I did go to another place today and my dad uh called me out and he said he needed he forgot the finish gun. Um and I was down there mulching. It's a orange pass load. You know, we got tools right inside the place there. So I had to drive out the bath, give him that, and I came back. >> Okay. >> Yeah. It was um what's the name of the address? I don't know the actual numbers. 7 something, but it's on Cry Road IRA out there in Bath. >> Okay. Is that his business or something? No, that's where we're doing a big edition of trying to finish up that job. >> Yeah, we're doing a cement hardy sighting on there. So, >> okay. Okay. And then All right. Um, well, they're out there talking to them still and trying to get a statement. So, hopefully we >> are here. >> No, no, they're not here. They're I have down there. >> Yeah. >> I can't freaking believe that they would be. >> So, yeah. I mean, they're saying obviously, you know, >> I would one thing I hate in this world is a thief. I'm not I'm not a thief. I was helping him out as I've always done. But I I've come when I when I was looting there on the regular, I'd come around the corner there and I almost would run Bob over. He'd be face down on the freaking grab from being too drunk and pick him up and take him back inside. >> Okay. All right. Well, let me get things worked out, take a little break for a second and uh and I'll talk to them real quick and see what they want to do. And then what about is there anybody? I'm sorry. I get that. I'll follow you. Need a [ __ ] chair, man. Super. Ah. Ah. There. Ah, there. I need that now. That's better. So [ __ ] stupid. Can't believe this is happening. Man, I can't [ __ ] believe it. They said that they said they didn't know I was in the house. What a croc of [ __ ] Unfucking believable. Come on. off. I don't Bob and Rose. Really? I can't believe you guys would do that to me. I'm so frazzled. What the [ __ ] am I doing here? Thanks a lot, Rose. Unreal. All right, Mike. [clears throat] This is Sergeant Dan Dan. >> All this over a suspected B& Michael. >> Oh, that one's a lot better. >> Michael, right? >> Yeah. >> All right. Hey, Michael. How you doing, man? >> So, I read you your your Miranda rights. You you understand those? >> Yes. Okay. Keeping those rights in mind, we'd like to talk to you about another issue. Um, so today, uh, you talked to, you told, uh, detective Brady that, uh, you were mulching, uh, out there at the Coventry. >> Yes. Yeah. Yeah. I went up to a finest mulch. This is where I got the mulch from. Where was that at? C Road. >> Okay. Um, did you uh Well, we know we met your dad today and uh he was saying that uh >> You met my dad? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah. Did you talk to your dad on the phone today at all? >> Uh yeah, a couple times. >> Yeah. >> And uh >> you guys you ran Did you run out of gas? >> Yeah, I ran out of gas. I' been running out of gas a lot lately. Been a little bit broke. Yeah. So, >> okay. >> Yeah. >> Oh, like he asked what you guys talk about and your dad. >> Uh like you said, he called me up earlier to go get a I had to bring over the past little finish gun and uh then that was about it. [snorts] >> Did he say that uh we wanted to talk to you? We >> the at placement. >> No, not at all. >> Got the key text you called you on the phone. >> I mean, I got a couple calls, but I didn't uh that was after I went over and dropped the tool off. I didn't talk to him. I was busy doing the Mulson down there. Come that's where he lives. I was I was kind of doing a Father's Day present for him a little bit. So, >> cuz you were supposed to meet him, right? >> Uh not no I had golf le tonight. Hey, that's what I was actually getting ready to go do. >> You weren't supposed to meet your dad? >> No. >> Up at the storage unit? >> No. Was it? >> That's what he told us. >> Oh, no. >> That's why he was calling you. >> No. >> Did he uh did he meet up with you uh after you ran out of gas? >> Yeah, he came and actually got me some gas. Yeah, but [clears throat] I mean I didn't he didn't say anything about it. >> Did he get you gas? Uh well, actually, he just gave me 10 bucks and then uh there was I was right by that. I was on Carol and exch uh Carol Market, you know, to get some gas and uh he then he left. So >> your dad did? >> Yeah. Yeah, he left me there. >> [ __ ] I'd be I don't know. I really don't know. 11 maybe 12 1 somewhere around there. I don't know. >> Sure. Was it more like uh 1 or two? >> One or two? Well, like I said, 11 121 cuz I don't know the concept of time really. Had so much going on lately. >> Okay. What have you had going on lately? Just working with my mom. My mom and stepdad own a couple yogurt shops. Trying to work for dad. Trying to make any ends meet because me and dad haven't been vibing very much lately. We're butttheads. You know, we've worked together, lived together for a while. It's very good. >> Um, so your your storage unit up there uh up on North Hill? >> Yeah. >> Um, >> well, it's your dad's. >> It's my dad's mine. >> Who has access to it? >> Uh, me and my dad. Yeah. And then there's uh anyone else? >> Um no, but I mean I don't know if you know about theft that was up there not that long ago. Uh this guy used to get into all the units, stole all types of [ __ ] Silver Tim Bolzer. I don't know if you know that name, but um yeah, me and my dad are the only ones that had the keys for it, but yeah. So that's >> Okay. When was the last time you were there? >> Uh I was up there either this morning or yesterday morning. I can't remember which day it was. >> Yeah. Were you getting something out or were you >> No, I was uh was getting ready um the lady lives next door in the brick house, she gave me she had me help her move out to the big stereo thing. I was going to spray paint it and sell it on uh what do you call it? Facebook cell or whatever. Yeah. So, >> are you aware that uh the that storage area they've got all kinds of cameras? >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Because of the thefts. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Uh your dad said sometimes you sleep down there. Uh only the only reason I slept in there is because I was so tired from dig like if this represents the floor of the unit. You couldn't even walk in it as of a couple weeks ago. So I was cleaning it out for him trying to get it functional again. But yeah, I crashed up there one night just cuz I fell asleep and I was like I was so tired. Then sometimes I go stay next door with Beverly. you see uh lets me go in there and uh the uh there's a brick house right next door to the shop and um that's the guy actually his mother who who was stealing from all the storage units yet but she she evicted him. He hasn't been around in a while so thank God I haven't seen that guy in a while. >> Okay. So we actually uh like we said we met your dad. I met your dad at the up there at the storage unit and uh I we both were standing next to him when he was trying to call you uh and uh he said uh that that uh you had gotten a ride by from somebody that they were bringing you up to the storage unit. >> That's what my dad's at. >> Yeah. >> What kind of vehicle do you drive? >> Uh Orange Dakota. >> Any other vehicles? >> Nope. Just that one. >> Have you driven any other car in the last say week? >> No. No. I don't No. No. >> Well, like Well, like I said, we uh we were we were up there. We talked to your dad and you said that you were on the way. We ran out of gas. The truck was down there at Carol or East Market. >> Right. And I was going to get a I was going to get a lift up to the gas station to get some gas, but I never said I was coming up to the storage unit. >> He said that's what he said. >> That's what he said. >> And he actually texted you. >> Well, I I haven't seen my phone in a while, so obviously been dealing with this. So, >> well, this has been like 3 or 4 hours [clears throat] now. >> Well, yeah, but still it's just feels like it's been an eternity that it's going through a window to help out a neighbor and >> when was the last time you were up at the storage unit? >> Uh, like I said, yesterday. this morning. Yesterday morning, I can't remember what day it was. >> Were [clears throat] you up there Monday? >> What's today? >> Today is Wednesday. >> Uh, Monday, >> two days ago. >> I've been up there sporadically throughout the last week. I don't know exactly which day, but Wednesday. No, I think I was up there Monday. No, was it? >> Okay. Um, >> were you with anybody when you were up there? >> No. No. I mean, I just pretty much wrote something, right? Oh, I mean they don't, you know, Richard Leslie, the guy that owns a place, goes back there once a while to hang out, talk. >> Do you uh do you ever see anybody else that has storage units up there or talked to anybody? >> Oh, well, there's a couple oldtimes to my right. I think his dad's a uh these dad or his son is Black Keys, >> you know, the group. Yeah. And then sometimes I see the people across from us, they're hoarders. They got all types of Oh my gosh, it's to the brink. got the hard shot was bad. >> Mhm. >> And then Jake Leslie and I, you know, >> when's the last time you saw that? >> Uh, I don't know. 3 4 days ago, something like that. 5 days. I I literally my days have been running together so much as I've been freaking going crazy. >> She Oh, yeah. That's um Yeah, that's Dave and Katherine. Kathleen. >> Katie. >> Katie. That's same name, right? >> Yeah, I think so. >> Who is she? Uh she has a she has a storage unit up there I think with her I thought it was her husband Dave or something like that. I met him before. >> Which [snorts] which unit? >> Uh I don't know which what the letter is. I have no idea. It's >> across from you. >> Uh across from me on in the middle building. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> When was the last time you saw her? >> Uh probably Saturday, Sunday, something like that. I was up there doing some stuff around the shop. >> Okay. Uh, what about Monday? >> Uh, I don't think it was up there Monday. I really don't. I don't think it was up there Monday. I think it was I know I was there over the weekend. >> Well, like I like I told you there, you know, there's video. >> Yeah. >> We watched video. >> Yeah. [clears throat] >> And >> No, you watched video. >> Did you talk to her at all? >> No. >> Oh, yeah. Well, she she actually tried to knock on my door one night. She said I was sleeping up there. I fell asleep or something. She gave me a fan if I was hot or something. So, I hadn't talked to her before yet. I thought someone told us you guys were you were dating her. No, >> dude. Dude, no. Look at her. No, I mean God doesn't make jump. But no, I wasn't dating her. Are you kidding me? >> A little bit out of your age range? >> Yes. Yes. And I And trust me, after my last relationship, I'm not even looking for any type of girl right now. >> You never had any sexual relations with her? >> No. Absolutely not. >> Oh my gosh. Why being some of you guys were dating? >> No, we were not dating. Oh my gosh. Who said that? >> I I forget who it was, but >> Oh my gosh, that's ridiculous, man. No, I'm not dating this woman. >> Well, Mike, the video shows that you were talking to her Monday. >> So, yeah, I told you my days were all like >> and both of your storage units were open. You were going in and out both units. >> Were you Were you in her unit? >> Was I in her unit? >> Uh, no. It was right outside the door. I mean, a man might have ventured in there to look at a couple stuff when she was right there. So, yeah. >> Okay. Uh, have you ever been in her unit? >> Not like not before that. No. >> Okay. But you Monday did not go in the just >> Tony. I mean, I really don't know. I was standing there. I was talking. She cleaned out my um uh what do you call it? Chopback. And I just I just am bad on the timeline of the days. I really don't know. So, okay. Uh, >> but I never was actually like I mean maybe right to the door, but all the way in the back. No, I've never been there. You can't. There's a freaking wall of stuff and you can't get through there. >> Guess she had been in your your unit. >> Uh, just uh she brought me she dusted off the shop back and you know I wanted her to see cuz everyone that drove by saw how disgusting it was. I was like, "Hey, look look doing a lot better." Yeah. Okay. Yeah. >> So, would her DNA uh be in your storage unit? >> No. Not at all. >> Not at all. >> No. Why would her DNA? >> Well, the reason I think we're asking about her is because the family made a report. They haven't seen her in a couple days. >> What? >> So, we're trying to trying to find her >> DNA. Why? No, she was if anything, she stepped right inside my unit and gave me the and she blew off the the filter for my shop back that I was using. >> This is ridiculous. Okay. So, on Monday, her sister got a phone call or actually a message left on her machine >> saying Katie was telling her >> she has this handyman named Jim Olsson. >> Oh, yeah. Her sister. >> Yeah. I was going to do a little road to work trip for her, but >> Okay. Remember having that conversation? >> Yeah. Yeah. I don't know if it was I mean, like I said, it could have been Monday. What is it? Wednesday. Sometimes I'll go like I'll say, "Hey, uh, hear me about 7 minutes or so." And that was like It was like 7 minutes ago. It was like a week ago or so. My timeline gets [ __ ] up every once in a while. And people are like, "Dude, that's you're an idiot." Oh, yes. What do you want me to do about it? Sorry. >> Let me ask you something that's totally It doesn't matter. >> [clears throat] >> You uh you you hooked on anything? What? Got music using >> hooked on I smoke weed every once in a while, but gives me it gives me a little bit of energy. >> Nothing else. >> Nothing else. >> Um so you so you saw her Monday or set or sometime the last couple days? >> Yeah, last couple days. Yeah. >> Yeah. Cuz she she's been missing for a couple days. So we've been trying to find her. Uh, do you have any idea where she might be? Did she talk about where she was going? >> No idea. She did not say where she was going. >> No. >> No. >> Again, there's video and one was this was Monday. It shows you moving her van. >> No. >> Yeah. >> No, I wasn't moving her van. >> Yeah. I mean, video doesn't lie. Can you explain that? No, I can't. >> So, you move in the video. >> I mean, the video moving the van. >> All right. He drove out somewhere and then uh came back on foot. >> No, wasn't me. >> Who else will drive your truck? >> My truck? Uh, nobody. Okay. [clears throat] Nobody. Do >> you know why we found any blood in her unit? >> Pardon me? >> Why we found blood in her? >> You found blood in her? >> Yeah. Do you have any cuts from when you were >> I've got cuts all the time from working in construction, man. All the time >> again. This has blood going to be yours. >> Oh, yeah. This Oh, this is I'm a I'm a I'm a picker. So sometimes I'll get in there, I'll scratch my nose. But again, the blood that we found in her unit. >> Oh, is it going to be my blood? No. No. No. How would that be my blood? I didn't cut myself over there. So, no. >> But I do I mean, if I could have shed something, I mean, cuz I always do have like I mean, look, I've got I've got tons of cuts all over. Always working construction, dude. That's what I do. >> Michael, uh I mean, we've been working on this for a couple hours. Um, I mean, we got pretty far along in the investigation. There's going to be a time when there's going to be a narrative given of what happened. >> Okay? >> So, usually I tell people that, you know, I mean, you want to be in control of the narrative. You don't want me to give the narrative myself. uh you know we find we find evidence >> uh you know different things um hair blood different objects and you know we can kind of piece together what happened. So I mean sometimes sometimes people [ __ ] up and you know they do something they get themselves in a predicament they get worried uh I mean something happened on accident they get scared uh they try to cover it up they don't want to you try to explain it. Well now's the time to explain what happened that day. >> Um what's Monday? Tuesday, Sunday. I There's nothing to explain. No, >> there's nothing to explain. >> Well, we found blood and you're human. You're still human. A lot of blood >> and here. >> Do you want to explain that? >> I mean, I cut myself on some glass. And >> what about here? >> What's How long have you been keeping your hair like that? >> Literally like 2 days. Literally like 2 3 days. >> Well, you said uh I think you said it was about 3 or 4 days ago. Earlier. >> Well, 3 4 days. 2 3 days. I like I said, I don't know my timeline, man. Sucks. >> We found lots of blood in your storage unit. >> Lots of blood. >> We found sticks, instruments with a lot of blood. >> No [ __ ] way. >> Like Sergeant Marks. training or something. It's ridiculous. >> No, you just said that the only two people that get have access to your unit, >> but somebody like if you ever look up in the soft that [ __ ] Tim, he's trying I bet she's trying to get back. >> No, I I don't think that's the one that >> we have video of you talking to Katie. >> Well, yeah, I've talked to Katie before. >> Talking to her on Monday, driving her van away. >> Her keys her keys were found in your dad's basement >> today. Shoot. >> No. How did Tim get out there and and plant that? >> Tim [ __ ] he's [ __ ] >> That's That's not the narrative you want to try to That's That's not going to work for you, buddy. >> Something bad happened to Katie. You know it. You know what happened. It's like Sergeant Mark is giving you the opportunity to give us your narrative. >> Yeah. So stupid. What happened? She want to give you some money. She want to give you a job. What >> we have uh >> the sticks. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Tell us what happened, Michael. >> I mean, it's probably going to help you. I mean, you can't you can't feel good holding this in. >> No, not really. I just Tell us what happened. >> I snapped, man. I snapped. I just Something came over me. I don't know. >> What makes you >> My ex-girlfriend, too. She It was a downfall. It's not a like It's not She doesn't want to hold a gun to me. It might have an ex-girlfriend, but she made me a different person because of her toxic narcissistic ways. I was mentally, verbally, emotionally abused. I don't know. Just a snap in case you said something about my [ __ ] neck broke. I don't know. >> You know what? >> Well, yeah. Yeah, I snapped. >> Tell us what happened. >> You know what? I think you just g me You wanted to say it. >> That's why I told you this is your narrative. This is your chance to say for your story. >> Yeah. I just >> Are you just a cold blooded? >> No, I snapped. >> Homicidal maniac. >> Not Not at all. >> Was it heat of the moment? >> The moment type of thing. You guys snapped. >> So, take us through it, man. >> Just went over there, hit her on the head, and that was it. >> What? You hit her on the head with something like a metal pipe, a walking stick, >> something in there. >> Wooden. Yeah. The next day, u a piece of I don't even see the a piece of the fireplace stick was broken. I don't know what I just I just saw I grabbed it and I just [ __ ] snapped it. you her her unit or >> I didn't >> and then I just try to get rid of the evidence but I was just stupid what I had to do about those [ __ ] cameras. >> Where's the van? >> Yeah, I parked it in the hood somewhere. >> How the keys end up down at your dad's? >> I took the key off there and I was going to get rid of those. I was going to bite my mouth. It was dumb. I shouldn't have never done it. Obviously, I'm going to jail for the rest of my life, but it's I snap, man. I've been so emotionally and verbally abused. You have no idea. I got a mother that [ __ ] you know, staying with. I'm 35 years old. You have no idea what you have. >> So, there's my narrative a little bit. >> Can you explain why her clothes got ripped? Shoot. I mean, it was just >> You didn't sexually assault? >> No, I did not sexually assault her. Not Not at all, dude. I just I was actually gonna try to get her in the plastic and get rid of burn the clothes. But >> I saw the fire there. >> Oh, no. I had that for you. I mean, I was just having a little bonfire that night. That's all I There's nothing in there, though. I mean, you catch out, right? I have nothing to hide from you now. So, but uh and I I really didn't know it was Monday. days going. I know I'm smiling. I'm really It's probably a little bit of a relief. >> It is a little bit cuz I I told you like I said, I snapped and I've been going can't [clears throat] hold that in. >> No, it's actually But I just Yeah, the last couple days have been pretty [ __ ] stressful. >> So then what' you do with the body? >> You haven't found the body yet? >> Yes, it's right there in in the storage unit. I wasn't going to cut her up or anything. I was just going to get rid of it somehow. >> Did you try to go back? >> Did I try to go back? >> Did you try to go back and get her >> when? Oh, no. No. I mean I mean you saw the footage moving her. So, >> no. >> So, is that van close by? >> Uh, like it says in the hood. I think like Wildwood or Mercer. Um, >> you could have moved that far. You got back faster than that. >> You haven't got your truck. Did someone give you a ride? >> No, no, no. When I parked it there at the >> Oh, did you go back and move it again? >> No. No. I >> Cuz I thought the video showed you pulling out and like about 10 minutes later coming back on foot. >> Oh, yeah. Oh, I did pull around the corner. Yeah. At the gym place. I forgot about that. You pulled around the corner and then I came back cuz I wanted to get it out of sight. I guess what you wanted to do. Sorry. I'm not making a lot of this stuff up. I mean just I'm having a hard time like you know. >> So then when you went back to the van and moved it to the hood. >> Yeah. Yeah. Cuz I was trying to get So I mean I mean obviously someone's going to come looking for it right next to the office. It be pretty close. >> Yeah. What about her uh cell phone? >> Um it was I think in the car or >> you traded for something? >> No. No, I did not trade it. I don't pawn stuff like that. I earned my money. >> Okay. >> Now, our cell phone was an android anyway. [ __ ] And plus, I've never been to a pawn shop really in my life. Maybe one time down in West Virginia. And that was when I was like 22, 23. So some reason. So where do we go from here? >> Well, I mean, you know, you're going to get arrested. You get to get a bond. You get an attorney. >> Yeah. I actually could use other Mark Buy was my attorney for the TPO thing. Maybe he'll represent me. >> Well, only certain attorneys can represent. >> Oh, yeah. In case. So, I mean, in the long run, you could sit there and say, "Hey, I mean, I I came off the [ __ ] story and you can look at the judge and ask for some you could ask the family person for the judge, they give you a little bit of mercy." And >> yeah, I just I mean, I'll spend the rest of my life in prison. I don't want to die cuz I can't do good works. I have been a good person my whole life. I just I snapped because people have been riding my ass. >> Well, you were you were talking to her. What did she say that reminded you of your girlfriend? She we were kind of talking about her a little bit and she said that maybe maybe you did this to her and I met her. >> So she was blaming you [clears throat] >> and I never did a [ __ ] thing to that ex-girlfriend of mine. I treated her like a [ __ ] queen. >> So you said you just saw something laying there. >> I was sitting there and picked it up on the man. >> Where'd you hit her at? anywhere else. >> She see you. Would you were you facing her or >> No. >> No. How many times you hit her? [clears throat] >> I think just maybe once or twice, three times maybe. Just that smell of death, man. I [ __ ] hate it. Every turn I smell like smell. >> You ever done anything like this before? >> In my entire [ __ ] life. Never thought I would. I'm a Christian. I just I mean, not that it matters, but I mean, I went to Chapman Christian School, CBCA. I love my fellow man, the neighbors. I try to do everything for everybody else except for myself. >> You uh you said you only use weed. Is there anything else you use? I mean, I've used cocaine before. I've never done Never done heroin. I've tried meth. >> I've never done I've never done heroin. I've never done acid. I've never done shrooms. Tried to see once. >> So, have you been doing anything lately that might may have made you snap? >> Nope. No. I mean, I would bump a bump every once in a while, but it doesn't it doesn't give you any salt >> of meth like Yeah. speed, you know? But it doesn't make me an angry person. I'm weird. I'm like an opposite drug. You use like weed. You're supposed to be a downer. Gives me energy. I used to do Coke back in 06. I got a charge. I do Coke. I become a zombie, you know? So, and and even weird meth kind of made me a little bit calm. It doesn't affect me like it does like rage meth heads like you like it's like you think about. I'm telling you. >> Have you ever been diagnosed with anything? >> Nope. Not I've never noticed. >> No. No. Not at all. I know you probably watch me on the camera. I was talking a little bit but >> well >> wasn't answering myself. That's the one thing. So you stand on a cigarette. I'm dying man. >> When was the last time you used? >> Uh last last night I did a bump. >> When's the last time before that? >> Uh last night before that was probably hanging out with Debbie Mleti. Uh eight. So, two weeks, three week two two weeks, something like that. It'll it'll be in my scissors. I did a bump last night, but it's not going to be a whole a whole bottom. >> You weren't crazy high on it. >> No, dude. Just anger. >> No, it's Well, it wasn't even that. It's just it like the the speed kind of actually got me focused on work. It focused me actually a little bit. And then uh I just [ __ ] when I was when you know, I didn't have any for a little while. Well, it's not that I was using it habitually, but I was tired. I just snapped, man. I snapped. >> You said like a fire poke, a fireplace poker or something. >> Uh the handle from it, like you know that um and it was a tree thing there sitting on top of that wood burning stove and uh uh in in the move and all the [ __ ] that was in the shop, there was a part of the handle that just cracked off and then had a little uh what do you call it? like the little circle thing that that's on the back that hang that you hang in >> and it was it was about that long. >> And then the the walker >> that was that was in her unit. I saw it there. Then I described it. >> Were you afraid of her freaking saying something, you know, hitting her and then her saying something? >> Of course it' be it'd be assault. I know now it's murder, but I mean it would have been assault. So that's why of course I don't know what they're saying. We're not worried about our styles you can think of. >> Um, >> that you want us? >> I mean, I'm sorry. >> Do you have any other questions? I mean, you can ask me, but not that I can think of. I think we're pretty much You got a confession. I got a confession, didn't you? >> Well, like I told you, I think we knew enough. It's just up to you for your narrative. >> Well, I just I I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I should have never done it. I just for some reason I snapped and uh >> Well, like you said, it was you getting it off your chest. Does it make you look like a cold lion killer? >> I'm not. Well, I'm not. I mean, this is one stupid thing that I'll never be able to live down, but >> Okay. All right. My wife have my hand. I'll shake your hand. >> I don't think you want that, though. No, I'm not murdering. >> All right. Before we get to the town and try to get you. >> Yeah.
