And that kills me cuz she's been ill for 15 years, so Basically, it gets worse and worse with alcohol. >> Okay. So, you guys are having a verbal argument, and then >> It became physical. >> And then he threw you down? >> had an issue. >> And then he threw you down on the ground? Did he grab you? >> Yes. Obviously. >> I don't know, so I'm not I wasn't here. Okay, so obviously >> see it in my arm. >> Okay, well, I don't know what happened. What happened? >> I'm clearly upset. >> Okay, what happened physically? >> He grabbed me and threw me down. >> Those are the things Those [clears throat] are the things that I need to know. >> That's what you needed to know. That's what happened. >> Did he grab you just by your arm? Did he grab you by your shoulders? >> listening. >> Yes, he grabbed me by my arms. He grabbed me by my shoulders. He threw me down. We had an altercation. >> Those are the questions that I need to know. >> downstairs. >> Okay. >> That's all you need to know. >> And then you hit your arm on something? >> I didn't hit my arm on something. I'm just very upset right now. >> 10-9. >> [snorts] >> 5-12 tonight. >> I don't need to be yelled at, either, so He's calmed down. I'm already upset. >> All right. I'll be right back. Where is the stairs at? >> Oh, right here. >> So, after he throws you down, you're able to get up and then you come down here, you said? >> I yelled for my dad. My dad yelled up the stairs and I came right downstairs. >> [snorts] >> And here I am. >> [snorts] >> Yes, we were both drinking. Yes, we both had an altercation. But, he got to his goal. >> Okay. So, he's saying nothing physical happened to the other deputy up there. >> Obviously. >> [snorts] >> Okay. Okay. Is that what all started, the argument that she he thinks you're being unfaithful with some other guy? >> But, really I was texting a friend to come pick me up cuz he didn't want me to leave. >> Okay. Okay. So, that's what this whole >> arm and then he twisted it and then he started throwing me down. Then he pushed me up against the wall. And dad said, "Are you guys okay?" And I said, "No, I'm not, dad." So, then I came downstairs. >> He said he twisted your arm? >> He twisted my arm, he threw me down. That's the bang that my father heard. That's the reason why he yelled upstairs, "Me and you, are you okay?" I said, "No, I'm not." >> And then you could hear the argument and then the >> I heard the argument. >> Then you heard the loud thud, you said? >> Yeah. It's above our head. More above his head. >> And then um you called up there to Amanda to see if she was okay. >> I did I You called him down here, too, didn't you? >> Yeah. >> As soon as I heard her then I did, yeah. >> And you were never getting up in his face or anything like that? >> Oh, of course I yelled at him. >> Yeah. >> Cuz he took my phone from me, but I never like put my hands on him. I never pushed him or anything. He just threw me down and grabbed my arms. >> Come up the same way I did. So, it'll be deputy and one more. >> through this door then no nobody will be able to leave or anything. There's a front door, but it goes straight upstairs. >> Okay. >> I'll I'll show you the Yeah. >> You said his name was James? >> Jason. >> Jason. And then the >> outside door right here. >> Okay. >> Get back up there. >> Uh just so you know, you're on audio and video recording. >> Yeah, you're fine. You're good. >> Uh what happened tonight? >> Uh I came home. My wife was already about 3/4. She sits to the wind and uh so I wanted to have a couple beers with her. We sat out on the porch. We did that. Came upstairs. She got a little inebriated. >> Mhm. >> And I brought up some things from a week ago that I had questions about. I figured, you know, she's drunk, she'll be honest about it. She wasn't overly honest about it. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, I took her phone and I looked through it and suspicions confirmed, I guess is what you can say. >> Like her like some other like unfaithfulness or >> She was to another man asking her to come She goes, "I'll be walking down the road. Please come pick me up." It's all she said. She wasn't like my You know what I mean? I was Yeah, I mean, my voice was raised, but that was it. That was literally it. She tried coming at me multiple times. I never put my hands on her. I never hit her. No, no. It was more, you know, if anything got to it, it was you know, that just you know, and I And that was it. And but yeah, I worked all day. I came home. I wanted to watch football. But she was kind of already there when I got here. I've been I actually just counted them cuz I knew you were on your way. I'm not stupid. I've had four. She's had four out of this pack. Plus let's see. We had six Budweisers left over from last night. So, I would say she's had 10. I've had four, five at the most. It's right here. Yep. It's in a case. It's registered. It's Everything's there. No, it's not like on you or anything. No, no. I have my wallet, my phone. I didn't know what the end result was going to be, so I had I had nowhere to go, by the way. So, I was like, you know, cuz she's kind of got back up. But I'm the one that said call the cops, yeah. And I bet he goes, "Call the cops." Or she's like, "Call the cops." He goes, "You come down." I said, "Yeah, go. Call them." You know, I was all for you coming here. Cuz I just want to drink a few beers. But other than that, no, yes, it was it was completely unnecessary. But I did find out some things that will probably eventually lead me to leave. >> I'm sorry that you have to be dealing with that. >> All right. >> Um so just clarifying, you came home, she was already kind of she'd already been drinking. >> Yeah, she was waiting for me all day. >> You guys had You guys had some drinks. You asked her about um some suspicions about unfaithfulness. >> Yes. >> Looked through the phone, confirmed unfaithfulness. >> I have pictures of the messages to see, but I don't think I have to. I mean, I can show you everything if you need to see it, but >> Got it. Um she never hit you, never threw anything at you. >> Um you never hit her. Did you grab her at all? >> No, it was more of a >> Okay. >> stay away from each other. It was If anything, this would have been, you know, don't do it. So I got you. >> Um there was like a little like red mark on her right arm. >> That wouldn't have been That wouldn't have been from me. I promise that. I don't know. She Like I said, she's been a couple sheets to the wind since I got home, so >> Okay. Okay, buddy. Um Who you betting? Cowboys? >> I got a couple in there. I got a lot of yardages because the money lines have been screwing me lately, so >> Got you. I got you. Um do you want to hang out up here or talk to her? We talked to her. I just wanted to come up here first. >> Oh, no, that's fine. Absolutely. I appreciate you and like I said, I'm I'm okay. >> I got you. >> I got home at 4:00. I was only been drinking for 3 hours. I got four beers. She's out of control. >> Okay. Was she having those shooters, too? >> Yeah. I had a couple shooters earlier when I first got home, but yeah, other than that, I am >> I got you. >> If you can't tell. >> All right. Well, I appreciate your cooperation. I'm surprised how many people like We start talking to them, they get all defensive. >> So alcohol makes people yeah, turn into Basically you come home she'd already been drinking They start drinking together had a few beers couple shooters He says never got physical it was mostly like hey back up She got pretty upset >> Yeah there was absolutely never any hitting or anything I promise that >> Okay >> [clears throat] >> all right thanks for the shirt I just couldn't hear what you were saying >> Looks like Dallas won >> I'm sitting in the car I take the chance to stand whenever I can >> How do you suck ass for a year and a half and now you're beating the Cowboys and you won last week Don't have 311 passing yards last week Are you a football guy >> Uh Steelers and then I'm a big Clemson fan I follow college more than I am so it's Steelers been tough the last few years >> Oh yeah she made me take all I had a blanket hanging on this wall I'm an Eagles fan >> My mom's a big Cowboys fan I always give her give her crap whenever I can You're good uh can I see your ID just But you've been real happy with the Eagles lately >> Yeah except for that Falcons game >> Yeah >> Really Cuz I hate Cowboys But I bet on Cowboys so I don't know who I would have won. So, I know you talked to him. >> No, you're just kind of >> It's my beat, so just kind of >> Oh, wow. Okay, yeah. >> Kind of just walking through what happened so you guys were. >> So, I got home actually 3:48 is what I checked on my phone. She was already on the porch drinking. >> Okay. >> I I said to her, "Well, how many you know, how many beers have you had?" She called me and said I got us 15 back for the night. We have been trying to quit drinking, which obviously isn't working because every night she drinks I'm not. But, that's not any relevant at all. Anyways, she's like, "I've had three beers." I can tell because we've been we've been together for 15 years. >> Yeah. >> I said, "Okay." So, I sat and I had two beers on the front porch. I came out I was like, "I got to take a shower, man. >> all day." >> Okay. She called an Uber to go up to Casey's to get the shooters of Super. So, I was like, "Well, I'm going to get in the shower, you can do that." Whatever, blah blah blah. I got out of the shower and I just laid in bed. I'm not going to go back out on the porch. I'm not walking nowhere. I worked all day. And uh Anyways, I don't I'm trying to think of what triggered it. She's Oh, it was the other night she had left uh with a a of ours. And, uh, she slipped up and said something about She's like, "Oh, well, he stole $40." And I'm like, "What do you mean? You told me you lost that $40." She was like, "No, I was trying to get drugs and he never came back." And I'm like, "Okay, well, that's something you never brought up." You know, like, "Who have you been talking about a lot?" And her phone was sitting there and I looked at it and, lo and behold, right then there was a message to another man. I can show you. It said, "I'll be walking down the road. Can you pick me up?" And I texted back. I said, "Oh, never mind. My husband saw this." You know, he's pissed. And then she got after I called her out on it and you know, when she would come at me I I never hit her enough. I swear. I'm just Please, don't. Just get away. I just want to watch my [ __ ] football game. >> So, she's coming at you to try to hit you or >> She's not trying to hit me, I don't think. But, you know, when you're arguing with someone and you're trying to get face-to-face and I was just trying to avoid it. Don't get in my [ __ ] you know what I mean? That was that. >> Okay. Did you ever grab her and throw her down on the ground? >> No. No, absolutely not. If anything, it was get away from me. >> Okay. >> Now, I'm not going to say that she hasn't already fallen about four times tonight and that was a big indicator of how I knew she was drinking way more than she let on to. But, no, every In every time I would be like, "Get away." She never fell anything. She was perfectly fine. >> Okay. >> So. >> She's saying hold it. Something else happened, obviously. She's saying >> Well, of course, yeah. No, no, no. If I did, I was catching something coming at me. I never I never forcefully pushed her. If anything, I got her away distance her from me. That's it. I never like shove her or anything like that. No, that never happened. So. >> All right. Well, she does have like a mark on her arm where she claims that you where you grabbed her and threw her down on the ground. >> No, no. Absolutely not. >> That's what she's saying happened. >> I understand that and it's her word versus mine, but I'm perfectly coherent and she couldn't even speak very well when I got home. Um if anything it would have been stopping this. And that would have put Does she have any marks to where you can see she fell? Like what did >> Did she just show you that? >> Yeah, that doesn't No, that doesn't make any sense to me. If anything I was just defending myself from her coming at me. That's it. I never hit her. I never pushed her. I never move my arms that much, you know? It was stop, stop. >> Okay. So, she's coming at you like you coming up like this to him. >> This kind of Have you ever been in a argument with a violent female before? Like that. >> Yeah. >> And then you just So, yeah, there is a chance that maybe I went like this instead of this cuz maybe your you know, wrist moved or something on me. But no, I never pushed her. I never hit her. I never threw her down. None of that. >> Okay. >> At all. >> All right. Let me go talk to her again. >> That's fine. Man, man always gets the third degree like this. >> I mean he's got to >> I just wanted to come home. >> No, I know, man. >> I didn't expect to come home to a drunken wife. She hasn't been So, she doesn't start her new job until next week, so she's been here all week. >> Yeah. >> And that gets her time. >> Yeah. Where do you Where do you work? >> Well, you know, as And we're we both struggled with drinking. So, when you have time and nothing to do >> Yeah, you just going to fall back into it. >> exactly. >> It's definitely a tough habit to tough habit to break and everybody >> It's honestly it's the worst thing I ever decided to do and I got nobody to blame but myself, so I started I'm still struggling with it, but I don't get [ __ ] up like that. >> You go to like meetings or anything? >> I go to AA meetings, I go to church every single week, I read my Bible every day. I'm I am literally like Here. I have this app and this is a Bible study I'm doing and you can look the date is current. Facing a giant of addiction. September 26th. I'm not lying to you. I'm really trying to work on this, but it's hard when you have contradictory >> Yeah. Yeah, when it's kind of in your face it makes it a little harder. >> and then I hear too, you know, I was like call the cops and I knew she was going to do it. And I knew all of a sudden >> Yeah. >> And like I said, maybe maybe I did, you know, and that but I never did any of this like none of that happened. She did trip and she couldn't even shut that door earlier and I did actually she went in there earlier and I did lock that door. >> Mhm. >> And I was like, okay, we're going to calm down and then she just started And I was like, okay, that's too loud cuz her dad's sleeping downstairs. Well, then she kept going kept going and that's when I opened this door and I was like She's a damn dude and I was like, damn. I wanted him, but he's automatically going to take her side cuz that's his mom, I mean it does matter. It shouldn't matter. But I even told he could he could tell you. I said, go down there and call the cops. Go down there and call the cops. Let them know what you did. But I'm the man, so >> Well, I don't know, General. I mean I know me and me and Tiffany Wilmore here, we So, we didn't suggest anything. We I mean, I've taken I've I've taken more girls to jail for domestic >> I I'm just saying >> Yeah, so it's not that >> If I did something wrong, trust me. I've been to jail multiple times. If I did something wrong and you walked into my room, I'd be shaking like like a leaf. You know, I'd [ __ ] grab that little medical container of weed and [ __ ] throw it out the window or something. You know what I mean? I'm paranoid. I had no I As soon as I heard I heard the keys jingling when you walked up the door. I didn't move. I didn't nothing. I've >> Yeah, I appreciate I appreciate your cooperation. Like I said, you'd >> It's not my first rodeo, but at the same time, if you can't tell, I legitimately did nothing wrong and I don't But, and so if it comes out cuz I I know how I'll let you know. >> Yeah. >> So, I know how these situations work out and it's going to be regardless, somebody's going to separate themselves. >> So, General, so we can't Like since you have residency, she has residency, we can't make anybody leave? >> Can we make it the upstairs downstairs thing? >> You could. Well, see, he's calling he's calling the sergeant now. I don't know what she said to him. Like I said, I walked in, talked to her like briefly, and then came straight up here. So, I don't know what she's been saying to him other than like what he's told you. >> No, of course. >> So, he is calling obviously like to get some advice, I guess, from the sergeant. Um But, generally, like I always say, like separate for the night. That's like where we're going with things. >> Yeah, and if like I said, I mean, these are my kids at the end. I mean, I'm not I don't even at this point I don't really even want to stay in the same story. >> I got you. >> There's room down there if someone needs to sleep. I would honestly still like to have a couple more beers and talk about this game. It's like halftime now. >> Yeah. >> It is what it is regardless. I mean, if I got to go If I got to go in there, that's fine. You out. What's the others ain't doing bad this year? >> Doing a little bit better. I'm hoping that they'll start Fields was a a good choice over here. >> Yeah. >> All right, Jason. So, hop out for me, okay? >> All right. Are you kidding me about that? >> Be careful. Is something Is anyone talking to you? Do you need anything? >> Do anything. >> So, she's got a mark on her arm, man. So, >> So, for me stopping her from hitting me? >> She's giving a different story. >> I'm telling you right now she was hitting me. She was swinging at me and I stopped I said I stopped her from approaching me. That's all I said. Are you serious? I'm going to lose my job over this for nothing. I didn't do anything. Grab my phone and my wallet and bring it to the jail, please. >> That's right. Just these two things? >> Yeah, that's fine. >> Okay. >> And you're going to have to hold me down these steep ass stairs. >> So you don't fall. It's a liability thing, you know what I mean? Well, maybe I should have done that. >> I hope you're happy about this. I'm not going anywhere. You both don't need to hold me. I'm not a serial killer or something. >> I don't know. I don't know this your yard man or anything. >> This is I'm I mean, use some common sense. A mark on a wrist? Does she have any Does she have any mark where she fell? >> My hands are tied now. >> No, my hands are tied, first of all. And now I'm going to have to spend the whole night in jail for nothing. I'm going to miss work. I'm going to get fired because she's a drunk liar. It is absolutely who you believe. Who's more sober right now? By just by using your top judgment, who's more sober? Yeah, exactly. You don't want to answer that cuz you know it's me. She's been drinking all day. Can we put these in a front or something? I know it's protocol, but I am too big for this. >> Just move your body. >> I I understand that, but >> No, don't don't try to go the other way. It's just going to be easier. >> This is so stupid, guys. >> Do you want your seatbelt on? >> No, I don't. >> Okay. >> Can you just go in there and grab some pictures of her and arm? >> I got you. >> So. All right, appreciate it. All right. Can you get some pictures? >> Yeah. >> Okay, some pictures. >> This is really >> Can you hold your breath like this for me? Turn your arms the other way. >> Is it There's Well, I gave blood today. So, that's why that's like that. I'm not a hero or anything. >> It's still looking at you. Do you want to >> Do what? >> Can you just get like a full face? All right. Okay, if you need anything else, um, non-emergency number is on my phone. It's the 8 >> Fine. >> Uh >> I just want to make sure he's going to be okay because I know that's a horrible situation, but we've recently been in a lot of trouble. >> Yeah. That's understandable. Um, there will be a It's a 72 hours. You won't be able to come back here. Um and then if you want to go get like an order of protection, um >> I don't feel that's necessary. >> Okay. >> He's not a horrible person. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Like when he drinks and stuff. Yeah. >> So, like and he would never come and harm me and my dad. He's not like that. >> Okay. >> He's not a horrible person. >> Okay. Um I'm going to run out to the car real quick and just get you a little form. It's a standard form that we got to give out for like domestic incidents. >> Okay. >> Um so, I'll go grab that real quick and then I'll get out of your hair. >> Thank you so much. You're welcome.
