On September 21st, 2026, Key West police became involved in a disturbance at Rick's on Duval Street after security attempted to remove a patron who was refusing to leave the property. >> [music] [music] [music] [music] >> I know. Relax. Relax. I'm talking to the officer. Relax. >> Okay. >> even give me a chance. It was like 15 seconds and they were on top of me. >> Well, listen, man. If if security is telling you got to go, you got to get you're not you're not going to you're not going to win that. So, it's a private business, man. >> I said yes. I said I will stop. Look, I get it. They're doing their job. He told me to stop because I grabbed the cone and put on my head. I stopped, I dropped it, and that was it. >> But but but but listen, it's you have to understand. This is a private business. >> I get that. >> they can tell you at any time If you want to debate that, you could have went about that a whole different way. When you're tensing up and you and you're fighting people and I'm there, you are like wildly lucky I'm not taking you to jail right now. >> Okay. >> Seriously. Like we just had to fight you to get you out of there. You're being cool now, and I appreciate that. >> Cuz you guys are the cops, not them. >> Okay, I was there the whole time, man. >> Yeah, I know. I saw the whole time. I saw your badge, it was flashing. I saw it. >> Yeah, I was there. So, you know, if they tell you to leave >> I was going to, but I didn't like how they were so abusive about it. >> Okay, well >> I would have left. I had no problem with it. >> the that's not the place to argue that. >> No, but look >> Point, you're trespassing. >> No, look he told me, "Don't touch the cone. Leave it alone." I said, "Okay." I put it down, and that was it. But he like within 10 seconds he jumped on me and was like, "All right, you need to stop. You need to get the out of here." >> That's their call. >> I guess that's why >> That's why they want you to leave. They want you to leave. >> That's fine. But like he only gave me one That was the first and only warning he gave me. >> They don't have to give you multiple warnings. That's the thing. >> But like he didn't give me a chance to like get out of there. If that was like the line of like that's enough, I would have left. >> Okay. All right. >> But he just kind of went off on me, started choking me. >> Yeah. Well, I mean, it didn't start when I got up there. We were talking to you, leave leave leave, and you wouldn't and things of that nature. >> All I wanted was my shoe. >> Well, that was once you got your shoe. >> going to walk out without my shoe. >> Either way. You're good now? They They want you They want you trespassed from the property. >> I know. That's fine. >> So, so you're going to be trespassed from there. There's your ID back. Yep. Okay. To avoid To avoid any other problems, just don't go back to Reds cuz they're going to take you to jail. Okay? >> But I want you to understand like I didn't do anything wrong. I was having a good time enjoying myself dancing and everything. But as soon as I grabbed that cone that's when all hell broke loose. >> you. I'll I'll tell you where where you went wrong and we're fine here. When they asked you to leave and they're very lenient. They're very lenient. When they asked you to leave, you have to leave. That And that And that's it. It is what it is. I get I get that you think that it was unjustified. It is what it is. I wasn't there for the incident. I have no idea. But when you have three security guards and me there telling you to leave and you're tensing up and you're trying to pull away >> not walk back in there. I promise you that. >> I got you. All right. All right? >> But there's nothing against me standing out front, right? No, no, no. Yes or no? Yes or no? >> You can't stand on the red bricks. I mean, it's a public sidewalk. >> I can talk I can stand on the white sidewalk, right? >> It's a public sidewalk. But But anything Anything the red bricks. So, Reds Reds property is all the red bricks. That includes Red Garter, >> Do you understand what happens if you do step on that property? >> No, but like it's a little bit extreme. I literally grabbed the cone. They had It was wet. I guess that It was wet. Slip hazard, whatever. I grabbed it, put it on my head. They said, "Don't do that." I put it down and that was it. >> Okay. All right. We'll leave it at that. We'll leave it at that. All right? >> Rosa, you know my rights. I don't I really don't give a I appreciate it, boss. >> Thank you so much. >> No, I really do appreciate it. You're respectful. I had no problem getting out of there, but there's no way in hell I'm going to let somebody call security and drag me out of here like a dog. >> All right, you understand what happens if you step on the property, right? >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. Let me just put my shoe on. >> It's all the red bricks. The hot dogs >> Wait, wait, I have a Wait, question. >> You step on the red bricks, you go to jail. >> okay? >> You want to go to jail? Keep your >> Is that okay? I'm asking. >> You want to really want to play these stupid games and and test it like, you know, come on, dude. >> He's got a little bit more of alcohol than he needs to be, so >> It happens. Are you with him? >> Huh? >> Are you with him? You should get him out of here before he goes to jail. He's going to go to jail. You going to Are you offended by that? >> I didn't go over the bricks. >> I didn't go over the bricks. >> Did I go over the bricks? >> You're going to go for disorderly Get your hand out of my face. >> That's not in anybody's face. >> You're going to go for disorderly conduct. >> That's not in your face. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> No, he's not in front of the bricks. >> Watch your feet, BRO. WHAT THE >> STOP. NATASHA, STOP. >> GO AWAY. >> HE'S NOT YOU GUYS ARE NOT HELPING. >> GO AWAY. >> You guys are not helping. He's fine. He's fine. You guys can't tell him what to do. You guys can't tell him what to do. >> Those bricks are only in the air. >> Those bricks are only in the air? Cuz my hand was over the >> face this way, bro. >> My My hand was over the property, so did I go over the only air? >> You're going to go for disorderly. >> You want to play games, man? You got it. >> Those bricks own the air. Does Rick own the air? >> All right, so we've got a hail on Florida, which means while we're conducting our business, you need to stay 25 ft back or you will go to jail as well. Do you understand? That's the distance between the street and the curb, 25 ft. >> I'm not going to do anything stupid. >> Well, you already did that. >> I but I just think it's stupid. >> You already did that. >> Flick them off. What's wrong with that? Can I hide throw a few hand gestures? >> Number >> What's your name? >> Anderson 4561. >> Tell his girlfriend to tell his girlfriend to come over here. He's going to be at the Monroe County Detention Center in Stock Island. So, he's going to spend the night and then in the morning he'll have a court appearance and he'll either get a bond or won't get a bond. But, he'll be able to make a phone call, so. >> He has my cards. >> Yeah, I'm going to get footage from before so he's going to get it for fighting wrong as well. >> Yeah, yeah. >> I get that you're doing your job and I've watched plenty of videos about these arrests and everything, but I was on the sidewalk when you guys did all this. >> You were going for disorderly conduct? >> No, but I had nothing to do with them. Just because I throw hand gestures has nothing to do with them. If the freedom of speech is one thing, I could have said whatever the [ __ ] I wanted to and they couldn't have done I was on the sidewalk. I have a drone I fly for photography. Am I right or am I wrong? >> I can assure you that the FAA regulations has nothing to do with what you were doing. >> why am I detained? >> I told you. >> Just because I threw a few middle fingers, that has nothing to do with them. I was not going to do anything. I never stepped over their I never stepped over their property. I looked down before I even threw them to make sure I was not over their property. You guys just blew everything out of proportion to throw me down on the floor. >> I did. >> No, I don't I don't know who that was. >> Okay. >> All you guys, all the officers. >> Got you. Okay. >> Yes or no? Whoever was the security, if they would have told me don't do that again, I would not have done that again. They gave me like 10 seconds. I put it down and they told me to get get out. >> So, what do you got? What was it? >> He was upstairs at Rex and I guess he was he was acting out for whatever. So, yeah, so they they asked him to leave. Didn't want to leave. When I got up there, there was already two security guards around him trying to get him. We brought him down. He was tense the whole time holding onto the banister. We had to rip him down. >> Okay. So, he's refusing to leave. >> Yeah, but so when we got him out, he had relaxed at that point and they were like, "Hey, we just want him gone." So, I was like and he was calm at that point so I'm like, "Just give me your ID. We're going to trespass you from here and that's going to be that." >> Yeah. >> He said, "Okay." I had a whole conversation with him. I haven't put it in yet cuz this happened literally right after. >> Okay. >> And then he went back in front of Rex and I told him any of the red bricks you can't go there. He then went back in front of Rex to all the bouncers and he was like standing right at the edge of the red bricks and he was like in the face >> was still over. So, he went back into the property. >> Yes, screaming and you know, saying "You you." And I was like, "Leave." And he kept putting it in my face. I said I said, "Get out of my face. Leave. You're going to go for disorderly." And he kept doing it and then we had to >> It's trespass after warning. >> Can I speak to your supervisor? >> You are right now. >> Okay. >> Hey man, I'm sorry to stop the cameras, but please inform him what's going on. What happened tonight? >> Okay. From the beginning? >> Uh-huh. >> They told Okay. I was enjoying myself having a good time. >> Okay. >> The security said, "Don't do that." Why? Because I grabbed a a cone >> Okay. >> because there was a wet beverage on the floor. >> Okay. >> I get that. But as a joke, I grabbed it, put it on my head, and he said, "Put that down. Stop." I put it down. I stopped. And then, he proceeded to say that I was not listening, not obeying his orders. I put it down. I figured it as if it was a first warning. I put it down, and I stopped. But, I didn't realize if if it was a warning in the sense of stop and get the hell out, I would have left. And as soon as I saw the officer, I No, I did not go back. I was on the way of getting out. I promise. Check the body cam or whatever. I never said anything to antagonize, to intimidate, to threaten him. I never said anything like that. What is the right then? Because you're you're you're saying basketball, and I'm using football, or vice versa, whatever it is. No, but at the same time, at basketball, But, does a Rick's own the air? Inside their property line? You're on their property. So, if I was inside Rick's, and I wanted to fly a drone, is that okay? But, what if I had permission from FAA? But, that doesn't matter. I have permission from FAA. So, how does that make sense? How does that make sense? Rick's No, so so, Rick's does not own the air. Do they? I would have left if they would have told me. But, I want you to understand and agree that you guys don't own the airspace. Right? Do you own the airspace? Yes or no? >> I've explained it. >> Do you own the airspace? >> Unfortunately, I don't know Spanish, so I can't say it in Spanish. >> I'm not talking in Spanish. Are you illiterate or you [ __ ] >> I don't know. I like both. Who knows? >> Okay, good. Cuz I can speak both English and Spanish. So if you want me to switch it to Spanish so you can understand, then I will switch. I literally if they would have told me don't do that again, and I would have said okay, my bad. And that's what I said, my bad, I won't do it again. But he was all up in my face saying don't do that again. Get the out of here. disagreement. I said okay, my bad. And then he said don't do that again. He just kept saying that. He never told me to leave. If I was fishing 1 in away from the Key West Yacht Club, can they arrest me? No, but answer my question. You guys do not own the water nor the air. No, I want you to say it clearly and loudly. We own the air. We do own it. Answer me. Say it loud and clear for the camera that's in here. No, that's fine. I don't care that you work for me, but I want you to know the reality and the truth of what the constitutional air is. You guys don't own the air. You guys don't own the water. I used to work at a yacht club. You can fish 2 in away from the property. >> There you go. It's on, baby. >> Is does Key West air No, it tells me my car camera was on. It caught your question 19 times. >> So, why don't you answer it? >> I did. >> No, you didn't. >> Yeah, I did. >> No, you didn't. >> And it's on camera. >> No, you didn't. >> Yeah, but I did though. >> What number? I'll push it. >> There's only one number. I guess G or G. What does it mean? >> Whatever happens, I'm going to fight this to the court. You guys don't you the air. Do you? Do you own the airspace above Ritz? >> You got to come up with a better cross examination. >> No, but that's the truth. >> Here, you're going out here? >> Do you own the airspace above Ritz? >> And you are going to right to the bench. Take a seat. >> What's up, brother? How you doing? >> 98 right where you are. You still haven't read me my Miranda rights. Walk in this direction. So you're still in your parking spot. Sorry. Stupid. Dumb ass. Idiot. What else? Keep it coming. Let's hear what else you got. You still haven't read me my Miranda rights. No, I sure haven't. No, you haven't. Oh, thank you. I know. You haven't. Stupid. Two left foot shoes and because I said you guys are tards, I'm getting in trouble. The man was charged with trespassing and resisting an officer without violence.
