Just me and my grandfather. >> Just you and your grandfather. >> My wife live here. That's it. That Harvard girl, she's over there across the street >> with the white >> with the glasses. >> Okay. >> With yellow hair. >> Okay. Okay. So, she put her hands on you, too. >> Yeah. She had me in around her legs up on my throat. She And then Margaret came over and saw me in the jaw >> and then I was just holding on to my wife. >> Margaret is the other female that's here. >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. And who is that? >> Here. She I don't know. And whenever she comes around, she's always drunk. She's >> um >> she's not do not let her leave. >> That that one right there. I was just out with her not even less than an hour ago. >> The one sitting down. >> Yeah, she's involved in this as well as well as a girlfriend, but they're probably both going to end up going. So, um Officer Davis. >> Yeah. >> Obviously, you called us, right? >> Yeah, I did. >> So, what what what led you what led you to to call us here today? >> So, I was just like in my bed and I hear yelling outside and I hear like Just don't touch me. Don't touch me. >> And who was saying that? >> And he was saying don't touch me. And sorry for cussing. >> No, no, no. You're good. You're good. >> But I'm just trying to tell you. And then the girl Margaret, I guess, the one, you know, the short hair. Yeah. She was apparently trying to hug him and he got really mad and defensive. And apparent >> she was trying to hug him. >> Yeah. And he didn't like that. And I don't know what happened, but from what I heard, I tried to get on recording, but the TV was too loud. I think I could have gotten a little bit, but um I love my mom and stuff, but it just gets to a point where like it's just too much. I feel bad for both of them. They always fight, but this is new cuz it's with someone new. I don't know. >> But then apparently someone got punched in the jaw. I think he punched her in the jaw twice, >> but I'm not sure what happened. I didn't get to see. I was just in my bag. >> Yeah, my room's like right there. The one right next to me. >> But you know that he struck her for a fact. I too. I heard like a >> Okay. Has this happened before? >> No, not physically. Definitely not. >> Like >> verbally? Yeah. >> But you said that they're they're constantly fighting. >> They always fight a lot. Yeah. >> Margaret came over. >> My grandpa asked her to leave. She gets up and starts telling him she's going to leave, but she doesn't. Comes back, sits down again. Grandpa comes back again. I'm like, "Fuck, she's still here. He's the landowner." And he she got up and my wife started getting like a aggravated. And then all of a sudden, next thing I know, my wife and me, we get in a tussle. She gets me on the with her feet up at the in the air on my throat, holding my shirt and then comes right next to her and punches me in the mouth. >> The wife punched you hard. The one with no hair hits me in the jaw. I fell backwards and my grandfather grabbed me and pulled me back. >> Did anyone see this beside Did you >> No, my grandfather was out here and and those two girls, my daughters were inside. >> What's your name? >> Taylor. >> Taylor, come with me. >> All right, Taylor. >> Hi. >> So, I got his side of the story. Okay. >> He did admit that you guys got into a He calls it a tussle. >> Oh, [ __ ] Is that is that you or does that me? >> No, this is me. All right. Obviously, you guys have been drinking. All right. >> I have. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. I'm sorry. >> When I look I look at his hands, I see blood. All right. I'm looking at you. I can clearly see there's some markings on it. Okay. So, I got inside of the story. I need you to tell me exactly what happened. All right. What led up to this? Because Casey's the one that called us here. >> So, she obviously heard something going on >> that prompted her to call us here. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, I need you to tell me exactly what happened. Okay. >> All right. >> We were sitting on the porch. >> Okay. >> So, it's been like 2 hours about give or take because they Casey and her was sitting there for a minute and they was talking. >> Okay. Who is she to you? >> H >> who is she to you? >> She goes to school with my youngest daughter or her daughter go I'm her daughter goes to school with my youngest daughter. >> So, you guys are friends. You guys know each other or >> just through school? >> Okay. >> I'm part of the PTO. I'm I'm >> All right. So, explain to me what So, what happened? What led up to him allegedly putting his hands on me? >> I tried to stop him from going after her. >> Okay. So, all right. So, that's the part that's what I'm saying. I need I need I need that whole entire story as to how that led up to that. >> The city and is where I had tried to stop him and I said no. And I said Margaret go. >> You're telling me that but I need to know what led up to that. >> Did he just happen to walk out of the house and just come? That's what I need to know. The details. Okay. >> Give me the give me the details. >> Okay. I had brought her. She said she had left her bag. So I had brought her inside and I says, "Here, here's your bag." I closed the door to our bedroom. Okay. I've been with him for almost 12 years. October 21st will be 12 years. >> Okay. So she left her bag where? >> Huh? She left her bag right inside because we had just gone. He had just gone. I'm sorry. I do have a fever. So, >> um, he had just gone with the UFO to the point Sienna PTO. I don't know. >> He he went with the UFO. >> Yeah, we I built a UFO and he and I built her. >> So, what is it like a vehicle >> and Vader Z? Yeah. Yeah. >> It's a driving movie theater. >> Okay. >> Anyhow, I had told her she could put her back down. I grabbed my beer. I came outside. We sat down and we was talking because she's been through a lot this through throughout the summer and whatnot. And so I was talking with her and then once it was done I was like, "Hey, come and look at what we built. Like look look this is really cool." You know, >> it had just turned into a like I I pushed the door closed. I brought her see this and she had tried a hug and then that was it. Like I was like okay that's it. So, so the story still is still not making making any sense to me. I get that you brought her inside. What prompted him to So, she tried to hug him. Margaret tried to hug >> He came out the room out of nowhere. >> Okay. But she tried to hug him >> after he came out the room out of nowhere. >> Okay. So because she tried to hug him, he got upset because of that. >> And before in the past, she has completely given him an embrace of him being upset, which I totally understand. I'm cool with it. >> But it's like, hey, this is the same person, you know. And then he was like, get out. >> You told that to Margaret. Mhm. >> And then I said, "Get the out." >> You told him to get out. >> Mhm. >> You told him to get out? >> Hell no. I don't tell him to get out. This is his house. He's screwing up here. I'm sorry. >> So, who did you say that to? >> I was like, "All right, let's get the out." And I was talking about Margaret. >> Okay. >> And that's what ended up happening and we got into around where your police car was and I stopped him. >> Well, when you say you stopped him, what do you how did you stop him? >> I just grabbed him. I said stop. >> Okay. And he kept pushing off again. >> And >> so he was trying to leave and you were stopping him, preventing him from leaving. >> I was about where the bamboo tree was. >> All right. So, but if you told him to leave and he was leaving, why did you try to stop him from leaving? >> I wasn't trying to stop him from leaving. I was trying to stop him from going after her and then he grabbed me back. >> How did he grab you? Like, and what when he when you mean grabbed you, what did he do? >> He grabbed him. So he grabbed you by the arms. >> Okay. >> Okay. And I got my neck. >> Okay. So when he So when he grabbed you, you fell to the ground. >> Yeah. >> All right. Which that's why you have those. Okay. And then what happened? >> And then I told him stop and he walked away. >> This is where I need you to be completely honest. >> Because Casey's telling me that she heard him hit you. >> No, she would not hear him hit me. I promise you that. If she heard him hit me, it would be a lot louder and I would call the police myself. >> Okay, >> that's I mean straight up. I'm sorry. I don't mean it like that. But >> seriously. >> So, are you are you guys just boyfriend and girlfriend or you guys married? >> Almost 12 years. We've been engaged since 2019. >> Okay. But you guys have been together for 12 years. >> Almost. >> Margaret, can I speak with you, please? >> All right. Margaret, we meet again. Um, so could you please just tell me? >> That was on my way home. >> So that was after I saw you. >> It was and I literally wasn't I had no intention on my way home and I ran up with my best friend's daughter, >> best friend. We've been sitting on the porch for 2 hours [ __ ] And we started getting a little too loud. >> So he said go. So I put my shoes on. Who told you to go? >> Jason. >> Okay. Jason told you to leave. >> Yeah. >> So, I put my shoes on and I said, "Fine, but I need my bag." >> And also, we did have a moment and maybe I did try to give him a hug, but like you broke down into me and you know what I'm going through. And this was ironic as I would had every intention to go home. >> Okay. So, you tried to hug him and that's what set him off. >> I don't know what set him off. I don't know if it's her, if if that was what it was and then all of a sudden it just boom. >> So, >> it was me getting the bag and me trying to be like I'm sorry and thanks and just >> So, what happened after that? When you when you came outside, what did you witness when you were outside here? >> He dropped her to the ground. How I don't know how to explain it. I don't know how to explain it. He just dropped her to the ground and I shoved him off >> and I when he say he he dropped it to the ground because this is what I'm thinking. Somebody tells me he dropped him to the ground. It could be it could be with a strike. It could be grabbing you by the shoulders and throwing you down. >> There's several different ways. >> Okay. So, that's what he did >> and dropped her to the ground. And then I shoved him off >> and now you guys are here. So, you were just pretty much defending her and trying to help her out. >> She told me to leave and I can't I can't leave the [ __ ] I got you. >> I was heading home. >> I got you. All right. >> I was heading home. I don't know. >> I got you. You want to just just take a seat? Give me a minute here. >> And we were perfectly fine for 2 hours. >> I got you. So, at what point did she put her hands on you? >> My wife? >> Yes. When I came out here and that woman turned around, was starting to talk to my grandfather, not listening to him. >> Yeah. >> I started getting closer, telling her, not close, like close to her. I started getting in the grass. I told her, "You need to leave. My grandpa's asking you to leave. You're not listening." >> Yeah. >> So, my wife puts her hands on me and starts pushing me back. And I told her, "You need to stop doing this. I'm your husband. We're a family. You need to stop listening to other people instead of me." >> Yeah. >> So, she keeps pushing me back. And that's when we got in the damn tussle. And that's when we rolled around. And next thing I know, I get hit in the jaw. And like I said, he said my wife had me on the ground. I was standing up pulling my shirt. I got off. You told me to go inside and I was literally sitting there shaking. Let me let me take your >> Jason. >> Yes, sir. >> I kind of gave you an idea of what's going to happen. Um, since this going back and forth on the story of what she's saying, you're saying, he's saying, >> right? >> There's domestic violence at both ends. Okay. Unfortunately, we've had to take both of you guys in. Okay. Your grandpa's here. He's able to watch the kids. You're more or less going to be out tomorrow. Okay. But at this point, we can't have you guys together in the same household. And And because this is >> Can I get a hotel room? >> No. Because this is state of Florida, we have to take you guys both in for domestic violence. But she's getting the same treatment as you are. Okay. >> So, my officer, do you mind getting in his shoes and we're just going to go to my car? >> Taylor, do me a favor. Stand up. >> Double check. I'm sorry. >> Yes. >> Don't interlock your fingers. >> Okay. >> So, Wherever both of you are going to jail because right now I can't determine who the primary aggressor is. I have his father who's a witness to everything and I have hers. >> He doesn't want to press charges on you for you knocking him upside the head. So you're lucky you're not going to jail, too. >> She hit me first >> and he shoveed her to the ground. >> Well, guess what? That's not that's not what that's not that's not what his father said. >> All right. You understand? >> Mhm. All right. >> He's gone too. >> Both of you guys. >> If you have anything, if you have anything on you, any type of contraband, if you bring it into the jail, it becomes a felony. Okay. >> Mhm. >> You don't have nothing on me. >> Nothing. >> All right. Take a seat. >> Oh my god. >> I'll explain it to you in a minute. >> Okay. Watch your step. All right. So, in the state of Florida, okay, when we're when we come to these type of calls, what we're looking for is we're looking for who the primary aggressor is. Okay. When we can't determine who the aggressor is, like in my situation right now, I'm getting your side of the story. I'm getting his side of the story. I'm also getting Margaret's side of the story, but I'm also getting the father's side of the story as well. >> So, I have multiple people telling me that you two were in some sort of a tussle, right? which means both of you guys got physical with each other. >> I see the markings on you, >> which is consistent with what I've been told. >> But I also see markings on him and the fact that you two got into a physical altercation with each other, I can't determine who the aggressor is. So, both of you guys are going to jail. Okay. All right. >> You make me lose my [ __ ] babies. I swear to God. I swear to Lord. >> Both the husband and wife were charged with domestic violence.
