This should have been a simple traffic stop, but she refused a ticket. Things escalated and before you know it, she's facing a felony. 40 and a 25. And now you're speeding off. Stop. I can't stay here. I'm close to mommy. Deputies pull over a woman for speeding, but things quickly escalate when she drives off during the traffic stop and gets arrested after the cops track her down. Take a look. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Stop. Did you pull right here? You're being pulled over. What did I do? Speeding. No, sir. I wasn't speeding. You were speeding? Yes, ma'am. This is all observation and I got my radar. Okay, let me see. Nope. Driver's eyes registration proof insurance. All right. Driver's eyes registration proof insurance. You're not going to stick it with me, right? I'm not Driver's license registration proof insurance. I I don't even know where to pay for it. Just car. They just give it to Leia. I I want you to get the information out for me, ma'am. I'm not going to take an envelope. Is that your insurance or what? I don't know. That's what they gave to me. I don't know. I just Driver's license. [groaning] I don't know if that's where we supposed to come here and retire. You guys hire us to be in this neighborhood in Fort Stac. Okay, time out. Hold the phone. Let me begin by addressing this. So, right, I'm supposed to be here and retire. I mean, what's what's the big deal, right? That type of attitude. And the deputy says, you know what? Hey, you hired us to enforce these traffic laws, right? And by the way, that is true. Look, deputies, officers throughout the nation, not just here in California or in Florida, uh we go to certain locations where there's a propensity, right, of major major traffic type of situations where you might get into an accident. There might be some fatalss, you know, that kind of stuff. So, you know, you choose and pick the quadrant, right, the stop signs or the area selectively where you see the propensity and when there is numerous of people, you know, crossing pedestrians, all that stuff. This is all traffic enforcement. That's what you're supposed to do. She says so. I don't care. You know what? We're about to find out what's going to happen. All right. You wait here. Here's your documents. I'm going to take your license and your registration. Park your car right here. Stop moving. Stop. No. No. I don't want to talk to your friend at all. Park your car. I don't care. Park No. Park your car. Park your car. Hello. You want to talk to him? No. I'm not talking to him. Park your car. Park your car. You want to save? No, I do not. Park your car. Put your hazards on. Okay. I'm not dealing with this. [clears throat] Nope. Been found for speed before. All right. You know, you're getting a citation today. Do not do not reach. Oh, sorry. Okay. What am I supposed to do? I I'm going to I'm explaining to you. Okay. You're getting a citation today. Okay. There's three ways to handle this. All right. Your speed was 40 and a 25. My radar got you going 44 and I estimated you going 40. So, I'm going to write you 40. Okay. That's unacceptable. And you're arguing with me and you fail to stop as well. Okay. You're about to drive, right? When I failed to stop, you almost argue with me. wanted to pull over and I pulled over. I told you to stop and you were just right. You're going to drive right past me. Okay. Yes. I Yeah. And pull over. I pull over. No. You were very close. If I had to get my car and ch after you, you would be going to jail right now. Okay. Oh my god. I pull over. I didn't know you want me to just stop suddenly like that. I waved to you numerous times and you didn't stop until you were right next to me or actually almost past me. You were almost past me. Meaning you didn't you weren't going to indulge me. I thought there was a way to do it. I'm sorry. That's how we always do it. You're supposed to slow down and then Okay. Okay. Slow down, please. That's your ticket. I told you you're speeding 40 and a 25. And now you're speeding off. Come on now. You're just going to take off like that. Gun it. Which, by the way, it's another violation in front of the cop. She even drive home. Where'd she drive to? What? Where'd she drive to? Tango 950,000 57 uniform tango. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car now. Get out of the car. Get out of the car. And she doubles down on not getting out of the car, which makes it another traffic violation, which by the way, now it's a Frank. We call families Franks. That's a Frank. So now you're going to end up with a Frank in a tank. Where's my 1050? I attempted to stop a vehicle again. is driving relently through the neighborhood and they're flame from my traffic stop here. When she drove, did she almost hit you guys? Well, I was afraid it was going. Okay. Yeah. Going so damn fast. How fast? She was going fast. Very fast. Very fast. Okay. Okay. I appreciate your time. All right. Are you guys okay? Went through a minute ago straight. Okay. I got you. I I can't chase her. She's in the right neighborhood. But did she almost hit y'all or was she going fast? Yeah, she was going. She's going fast. Yeah, that corner. She's gonna take my truck out. Okay, I'll um I appreciate it. All right, thank you. [clears throat] No, come on. I'll just get in the car. Let me just get in the car. Drop your stuff. Drop your stuff now. Drop your stuff. Please let me just You're going for resisting as well. Please don't do that. Please don't do that. My I have a bad shoulder. I swear to God, I have a I have a real bad shoulder. Please don't do that. Please put it in front of me. Getting in. Stop resisting. But please put it in front of me. You're getting Please put it in front of me. Okay. Please, please don't do that. Please. Okay. Please, please, please, please. Can I No. Okay. All right. Cool. Please. I can't put my No. It hurts. Walk. No. Please. I'm sorry. You're driving recklessly and all that. No, we're not handling that. I didn't drive. Not my county. But why are you arresting me? Please flee to Lude. Reckless driving. Arrested. So, not in my county. Please, please, God, help. Please help. You want to search real quick? Make sure. Please help me. I was trying to help you, but if you would have just listened, you would have been fine. I Please help me. I did. I tried to give me your card. I tried to help you. Please help me. I tried to help you. Please help me. Sit down. Please help me. Sit down. Please help me. Please help me. Please help me. What am I getting arrested for? Yes. For fleeing a resisting. Okay, let's unpack some things here. So, my thinking is Carlen doesn't really quite comprehend what's going on. She doesn't she doesn't have a comprehension level to know exactly what she's going through. You know, she's probably distraught like, "Oh my god, please help me. Please help me. Please help me." Would indicate to me that she doesn't know that she put herself in a really bad predicament, right? And what are you supposed to do besides the fact that, which by the way, you cannot say the P word and go in pursuit. Just like the deputy said earlier, you know what? I can't I can't go and pursuit in this residential neighborhood. And you can't. I mean, all you have is pretty much felony evading. And depending on the policy per sheriff department and police agencies across the nation, some you can go in pursuit for felony evading, but that's all you had, which is a reason why he didn't go balls to the wall and go try to find Carlen. Now, going back to Carlen, I really think that she's under the impression that you just need to help me and not take me to jail and not take consequences for my actions. Thank you for finding her. Holy. This is just a detail. I I ain't worried right now. Shoplifting followup. Oh, really? Yeah. Nice. And she was just walking or Yeah, she she was walking up to the front. Oh, wow. And I was just like I just grabbed her by the hand. I walked her to my car and I was just going to quickly put her in handcuffs. I didn't want to hurt her cuz she's old. Yeah. No, she's like that old time. Let me uh move my car in a lot. Call my friend. I don't know his number. No, we're not calling your friend. Please, can I have my pocket? I need to call my friend. No. I I need to make one phone call. All right. Officer, I'm claustrophobic. Can I sit in the front with you? No. I swear to God, I'm claustrophobic. Officer, I'm swear to God, I'm claustrophobic. Please help me. Hold on. I'm claustrophobic. There you go. Please. Please help me. I'm claustrophobic. I'm claustrophobic. Please help me. Walmart is always on and popping. I mean, we've been doing a couple of these videos and Walmart seems to be it, man. I mean, it's it's always on, you know? You tell me why Walmart. Let me let me read you something. I I want to understand what's going on in your mind today. So, let me read you something. Please open the door. I tell you, I want No. No. You've already resisted. Resisting. I didn't call it. I didn't realize I was asking what you arrested me for. Okay. You didn't tell me. So, let me explain. Let me read something. I want to understand your mindset. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Any sake can be used against you for law. Though, please help me. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him present if you are being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any question if you wish. Okay. I'm trust open. I just wait till the sergeant come. I won't. No, you slipped the cuffs at the front. Or did you do that? She did that. Okay. You did that. No, you're not to be trusted. You're not to be trusted right now. I did that. How did I get it there? If you Okay, let me reread these to you. Please, you can put it back when I get those. Are you Are you gonna Are you going to listen to me? No, because you you slipped your cuff, so I'm not doing anything for you. Yes. I'm I'm claustrophobic. Please help me, man. Deep stuff here. Look, we want to empathize with Carlen. I do, too. But you know what? the windows roll down, you know, and if you're going to keep claiming that you're claustrophobic, I mean, you're not enclosed with the windows up and there's no air conditioning. That's kind of cruel and unusual. We can agree to that. But come on, Carlen, let's just go with the program. I mean, you went from a simple moving violation, right, the speeding and you have uh the stop sign and you turn this into a felony all by yourself. Your actions, you're accountable for this. Stop talking. Stop talking. Stop talking, please. I'm claustrophobic. Please help me. Please help me. I'm claustrophobic. Please put me in the front. I want 22. I'm claustrophobic. Oh my god. I'm Stop banging. Stop banging. I'm claustrophobic. Please. I'm claustrophobic. Stop kicking. I'm going to hobble you if you keep kicking. I'm claustrophobic. I'm claustrophobic. Please. You're going to help me. No. You started fighting us, so you don't. and you slipped to cuffs. So, we're not going to do that. You started fighting and you slipped at cuffs. I I didn't know how it happened. I'm just Please, please help me. Stop kicking the door. Put me in the front. All right, I got a hobbler. She's kicking. I don't want her bust out my windows. You got to stop. When you're ready, then I leave. But just let me wait outside till you're ready. No. Open the door there. No, I'll just stay here. I won't You don't have to tie your legs if you keep hitting. But I can't move. I'm claustrophobic. Mom, doctor. Yeah, but I I'm totally claustrophobic. Anywhere. I won't go anywhere. Please don't. I please you I I can't do anything. Both of you are here. I can't go anywhere. Because I didn't know I You won't tell me because they said you got to tell me. You didn't tell me what you were. I don't know, man. I think it was that car right there. May just go walk over there. And I got Don't Don't Yeah, that's it. I'm just going to walk up to on camera and just show that she parked out here. All right. Car's locked. It's secured. All our stuff's in here. Boom. Miss Carlen, stop. Now she's Now, come on. Are you serious? Get up. She's moving. Yeah, I know. She like dived out of the car. Yeah. Um, you want to Come on, Brandy. This is ridiculous. Stop grabbing me. Stand up. Stand up, Carlen. Stand up. I know her. Can I talk to her? You know her? How do you know her? I know her from the Squen. I know she lives in retire. Yeah. If you want to try to talk to her. Yeah. Are you the one that she was trying to call or what? No, you left the phone on. I heard the whole thing. But you guys did the job. Yeah, he was. Oh, you get up. Colleen. Colleen. This is Richard. Colleen. Colleen. Come on. Colleen. Arlene, is she diabetic or is her husband diabetic? She's not diabetic, but she could have went into um what do you call it? Hysterical uh what? She a hysterical hysterical like a seizure or something like that or like because is it she known to have the hysterical seizures or whatever they're called? She saw his struggle. What? She saw his struggle. Okay. We're familiar with her. She is. I'm not What are they going to do with her now? She's going to jail. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Sorry. I I I [clears throat] get that. Yeah. She almost got arrested because at first when she um she almost ran for me on the traffic stop. I try to stop her. She just almost went past me. Um and then she speeds off from traffic stop, runs to the stop sign at the intersection and then makes a left and I try to catch up. She's gone. Carl lane. All right. Do they set bail? How did this work? Uh 2500 then 1,000 for resisting. She resisted also. She got reckless driving. She only hit two pedestrians when she was driving recklessly. Um she then from there kept on driving at fast pace. The resident community. It's 20 m per hour. She's going 40. So she getting another ticket for that as well. Okay. So So let's see 2500,000 and she ran two stop signs. So she's getting two tickets for stop sign violations as well. Those are $166 a piece. And fleeing and eluding is a felony. So yeah, I know that. So [clears throat] this is being arrested without violence. Mhm. Yep. It didn't have to go this way. I mean I It was super simple. It was just take your ticket and go. And she sped off from the traffic stop, ran the stop sign. I was like, "No, we're not." Come on. You can try to get her in the car. I hate her laying here on the pavement. We could try. Nope. Now she's She's pulling. Come on, Going to get hurt. Don't hit me. Holly, don't grab me. Holly, stop grabbing me. I don't have a rope. Stop. Knock it off. Come here. I'm right here. You got to get off. I don't want you on this hot pavement. Carlen, come on. What up, Carene? They're going to take you either way. You're just going to go to the hospital first and then you'll probably go to take you to the hospital and check you out. She's been resisting acting erratic and now she's acting like she's passing out. So, she has some type of like sir, what was that thing you were saying earlier about her hysterica? Yeah, she could have hysterical seizures or something. Stressed her out real So, what was she doing? She was screaming um saying that she was claustrophobic and then she just slumped over here and we opened the door and she dove out head first on the table. You just been walking around here. She knows she's been running around reckless almost hit people and yeah, she has erratic behavior right now. Sweet salude, resisting reckless driving. So, we're just checking her out. Yeah, if you can. Just jail clearance that she can go to jail. Yeah, because every time we try to pick her up from yellow. Let's just do it here. Come on, Carlen. Hey, sit up. All right. All right. She won't. She won't. We're going to just have to pick her up. I got to get under her. Oh, she's awake magically. Knock it off. I'm done. I'm done. I'm not playing games. You're 67 years old. This is ridiculous. My head. Okay. Yeah. Maybe if you didn't dive out of our control car at first. I don't think you're winning an Emmy anytime soon. Don't grab him. You touch him again. I'm going to charge you with battery on He's not going to charge. I will. Hey, you got vet on EMS, too. Oh, nice. You're fine. Stop. You want to put him behind her? Kept grabbing him after he told her specifically not to. I need to get you checked out. My head. I want No, no, no. I want Oh god, it's not coming out. Okay, let me stop right here just to mention that before she gets back into the police cruiser, they medically clear her right there on the spot, which is good, right? As far as taxpayers, right, you don't have to wait for her to get in the RA, the rescue ambulance, transport all the way to the hospital, check her vitals to medically clear her there, right? So, you save time, you save some money, you definitely save some effort, but you still got to take her to go through the booking process. Stop. Move your hand. Jesus. Good job. Oh, you're coming. No, he's not coming. You're going to jail. I need Stand up. I need Stand up. Do you want him to take your car? fall. Do you want me to take your car? Um, yes or no? You want to go? Yes or no? Okay. No. No. Let me let me get in the car. Get in the car. Get in the car now. Get in the car. Get in the car. Let me Let me But but Jesus Christ. In. Let me do that. Get in the car. No. Get in the car. Get in the car. No. Take my Put my armpit. Please tell. No, you're not. There's nothing diagnosed. Yes. Call the doctor. N Call the MRI. We have history with you. No. I'm claustrophobic. Please move your foot. Move your foot now. Phobic. Please. I am claustrophobic. Stop grabbing me. Please. I'm claustrophobic. I am claustrophobic. I can't. Oh my god. I can't stand here. I'm claustrophobic. I'm claustrophobic. I'm claustrophobic. I'm claustrophobic. I can't stay here. I'm claustrophobic. Oh my god. I'm claustrophobic. Battery on Leo. You're gonna get that. Three, two, and Leo. You starting to me. All right. I'm claustrophobic. I am claustrophobic. She got bat on EMS. All right. Uh, I need to get his information. Oh, hey, ma'am. Hey. I'm going to get your information real quick so I can add you to the report. We do battery on the EMS. Uh, where did she touch you at? She's just like grabbing my wrist. Grabbing your wrist and all that. Okay. All right. Cool. Crazy. All right. Yeah. I just want to make sure we have that documented for you. All right. I appreciate it. Was she grabbing like with both her hands or one hand? Like one hand and like you know like like this and trying to, you know, trying to push her hands away and not trying to push my hands away. Just like she's like trying to get me to I don't know like understand that whatever her complaint is. You told her stop multiple times. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Don't charge. Okay. No big deal. I got you. All right. You want to press charges or No, man. Just annoying. Let's go to the jail. All right. Oh my god. My hand is hurting so bad. I fell on my head. It's hurting so bad. It's hot in here. Can you put the AC on? It is on, man. I don't feel it. Oh my god. Mr. One quick question. Can I ask you? Yeah. If let's say the bail's $5,000 Uhhuh. and she bail herself out with a credit card. That's a long That's a bondsman question. Once they go to jail and the jail accepts them, that's the end of my Oh, yeah. I don't have many answers past that. Well, she has a no bond now because she decided to batter our lovely AMS worker. Oh, she hit him. She was grabbing onto him and batteries any touch or strike. He specifically said, "Stop grabbing me three times." And she refused to comply. Now she can't get out. Now she can't get out until tomorrow morning at first appearance. Okay, let's go ahead and wrap this up. Final thoughts. Uh first and foremost, like always, big shout out to Marian County Sheriff's Office. Look, deputies did what they're supposed to do. A job well done. Okay, I'll leave it right there. Now, this often comes up once in a while where non-cops, right, the civilian audience always ask, "Well, look, if that was your grandmother or your mother, would you want the deputies or the cops to treat her as such?" And I'm here to tell you that, you know what, we can only do what's best at that time. Can we do better? Yes. Is she claustrophobic? Could be, right? Is there any way that we can handle this different? Probably. So, in other words, apply different tactics. Maybe, maybe so. But at the end of all this is she turned. This is all her, right? She's the one that created this whole mess. She created all of this. So, she should be held accountable for her actions. But my thinking is is that she probably doesn't quite comprehend, like I said earlier, this comprehension level about what's going on. All right. Make sure you take some responsibility. Okay. Anyways, I hope you learned something. Be safe out there. Up next, cops respond to a shocking case where a wife is accused of killing her own husband. If I have to, I hate him. I want to kill him. You need earlier We've seen this car and he's on the floor. But that's over on my second channel where I'll be covering some of the most extreme incidents in policing history. Okay. Carlen faced several charges and citations. Okay. The felony was fleeing to elude a law enforcement officer. Now, the misdemeanor charges were resisting an officer without violence and reckless driving. Now, finally, she got cited for speeding 40 in a 25 mph zone and running stop signs. As of now, there is no other public information as to the outcome of these charges. Okay, you know the drill. Hit that like button, hit that notification bell. Don't forget to subscribe.
