This Karen goes absolutely ballistic after allegedly assaulting three flight attendants. No. Now. Now. Did she piss herself? What's the problem, buddy? Cops respond after a drunk woman is kicked off her flight. But check this out. Things quickly escalate when she refuses to cooperate and escalates the arrest. Take a look. Break it up. 100% 100% 100% 100%. That man said get his ass beat. Great. Great. I'm standing over here. I want you to go deal with that man saying get my ass beat. Go then deal with that him. Great. Go deal with him. No, I'm going to deal with him first. Okay. So, you can go standing. Come on, Tim. Oh, we're not going anywhere. Sit down. You actually don't. I'm not insulting anyone. I'm not doing anything. Sit down. What is going on? I got to ask the same thing. What's going on here, man? Look, cops at the airport, you know, get your cup of coffee, walk up and down the terminal, making sure everybody is happy. Okay, you're traveling. You know, now we're in uh the month of October, getting ready for the holiday season. Everything is going well. Next thing you know, code forest son's in custody, right? Without incident. She is getting all cray cray, you know. I don't know. Besides the fact that she's probably trying to board the plane and they didn't want her to board the plane, but I know. Let's find out. I heard you from all the way down there. Did she Did she assault somebody? She when I ran up, she was in the corner. She had her camera in the face of one of them and they were all grouped together. Where's your driver's license ID? Charleston, we got one handcuffs. We got one handcuffs. Where's your ID? Listen, the faster you work with us, the faster we can know what's going on because right now it's completely escalated. Okay. Who did Who' she hit or touch? What? What happened? Those three. What did you say to captain? St. What did you say to happen right now? Yeah. Everyone okay? Yes. Okay. Okay. Did she hit or touch or she? Me, her, and her. So, what what happened? Screaming once I let her down the jet bridge and just curs. I said, "Ma'am, we can't do that. Just come up far." So, the captain end up coming up for some paperwork. Okay. So, as I'm on the phone with her at another gate for the paperwork, I said with the captain, "What did you say the captain said?" Mind you, the captain sitting right here said, "Ma'am, you are not getting on my flight." She chest to chest chest to chest. She chest to chest me and him. Okay. And like tried like tried to push she she slapped Yeah. She like tried to slap me. Did she Did she actually hit anybody? That's what I'm asking. She did make contact with her. Contact was made with her phone. Contact was made. Okay. Um, who who was the contact made with? Me. Her. She So, she hit all three people with her phone. She hit him like in the corner. She said, "You're so and she's recording." So, I'm just standing here being recording is not illegal. And then complete my statement. And then she reaches across and swipes me like to hit me with the phone because she starts screaming directly in my face. I said, "You're not going to scream at me. You're going to calm down. This is the very behavior that our captain has denied boarding for." At which point, she starts slapping at me with the phone and she hit me here. [ __ ] Okay. Are you Are you okay? Do I need to call paramedics? No. Okay. So, so my next my next question is, are we wanting to press charges for that? Absolutely. So, [snorts] so it's basically just so you understand it. It's a classy assault. It's offensive contact, right? Okay. Um, absolutely go that route. I'm going to get a bunch of information from you. Um, as far as that goes, that will be basically between you and uh a judge uh and her. Um, I think based on everything I saw, she's probably going to go for PI. That's thing. Um, if you're okay with just PI, we do that. But if you're want to press assault charges, we can go. Okay. So, let me explain to you what a misdemeanor not committed in your presence is, right? So, people always refer to, hey, I want to press charges. I want to press charges, you know, and makes you feel entitled, like empowered, right? I can't believe they did that to me. I want to press charges, right? Which is fine. We call that a PPA, private person's arrest here in the city of Los Angeles with my beloved LAPD, where basically the police is only responsible for transporting and booking procedures. That's it. the victim in this case, right? Person reporting PR, the RP reporting party andor the victim because you're the victim in this. You're going to have to take some time off, right, from work and present yourself in the judge and pretty much plead your case. You're responsible for everything else. Meeting with the uh the DA or the city attorney's office, whoever handles the criminal case from there, and I don't know, plea bargain agreement, maybe appear in court, who knows? But just know that you're responsible for that whole process. said, "Man, three. There's a lot going on here." Yeah. Well, that's Yeah. She's She'll most likely go with us if that. So, I'm asking, are y'all okay with with that or are we wanting to press assault charges on top? Press assault charges on top. So, so what I'll need So, what what did she do to you? As say before they came over, she was doing this to me. She poke it poking your finger to me. Step away. So after they came, that's when she started using her phone. Okay. Tapping people. She was tapping people with the phone. Okay. Where did she tap you? Right here. Right in the chest. Okay. Are Are you okay? Do you need paramedics? No, I don't need No, it was first [snorts] because she was she was bombarding. So, what I'll need I need a driver license ID. Um, we'll go through the whole thing just step from step so I can put it in my report and everything. Okay. All right. Go from the get closed. And then ma'am ma'am. Ma'am. Now my thinking is there's always like alcoholic beverages attached to this type of behavior. What do you think? So uh are we going to add are are you willing to press ass as well? So what all does that entail? So basically because because that didn't happen in my presence review. It's basically going to be your word against hers. You're you'll have to go to court for it. Mhm. Um I have to talk to judge about it. However, I mean it's I think I'm going to do a little bit more investigation with her, but it seems like she's going to go she's going to go jail for Okay. If if we're okay with that, just getting her out of here, absolutely good that route. Um but if you want to press assault charges, that's that's that going to fine. I don't want to press I don't Are are you sure you're okay? Yeah. I'm just Okay. I'm just I'm ahead. I totally understand. Totally understand. you know, okay. Okay, then. Um, then yes, ma'am. If I get your information, can you tell me your name? Cuz we need to figure out what's going on. I want to go home. Okay. Where's home? I was supposed to go to Columbia. I'm gonna miss a business trip. This is not good. Okay. So, you But I assure you, I wasn't doing anything to screw any of the [ __ ] travel agents. They're the best people ever. I don't Okay, this is so dumb. Are you traveling by yourself or with someone? No, I was traveling with you. They're gone. It's fine. I'm done. I literally have never had anything like this happen. Okay. Why didn't you get on the plane? I tried to get on the plane. They wouldn't let me on the plane. I tried to get on the plane and they're going to tell you I they wouldn't let me on the plane cuz the captain would let me. I will tell you I've flown this air line for 17 years. It's not. And this is being an is the most traumatic thing I've ever had in my whole life. And I just want to go home. Please let me go. Okay. I'm sorry, but we had to do that because when I walked into it, I totally get it. Please just let me go home. I don't care. Okay, you know what? I have this hunch, just a hunch that you might not go home. It all depends. I don't know that yet. And by the way, I know you didn't know that you were acting up. Fair way to say it. In front of the captain, right? I mean, the captain's right there. Imagine you being the captain, the pilot, and all of a sudden you look over to your right and you're like, "What? No. You know what? you're not coming on my plane. I can't let you go home until I figure out what's going on. But I appreciate you telling me more information because that's really helping me. Okay. So, it'll be I don't care. I just I'm supposed to be in Colombia for a business trip and I'm actually a I've been flying for 14 years. Okay. And I've never had a single encounter and I don't know how this happened and I'm so sad and okay. I'm just Please let me go home. Okay. I'm not as drunk as you think I am. I am just super traumatized. I am a handic. Okay. How much did you have to drink? There you go. I had two drinks. Okay. Full drinks. Very full drinks, but not any more than I normally drink when I travel. I've done this a million times. Okay. So, you know what? I I have to like I got to pause and you know let you know that she said two. Now, the difference is is that she actually said two full drinks. I don't know what that means. Uh besides the fact that everybody says that they always have two drinks, whether it's full, half empty. I don't know, but uh my thinking it's more than two again because people just don't remember all the ones in between. Right. Okay. What kind of drinks were they? They were um vodka tonics. Okay. The same things I always have. Okay. I swear I cannot overstate. I'm not innocent, but Jesus. So, do you think they didn't let you on because you were? No, they didn't let me on because I got on at the wrong time. I got on late. My my hurt so bad. I'm usually on so early and they were just being So it was final boarding and that's when you were and I was trying to make a joke about my Indian friends and they were with me and they're all Indian and I just think I I just So when they didn't let you on, you started recording them. I didn't I I mean I recorded something. I don't even know where to record. I wasn't trying a hard to be an ass. I just Okay. I just Do you understand why it escalated to the situation? No, I don't actually. I don't. I actually don't. It doesn't mean that I won't do something different next, but I don't actually understand. Okay. Would you like me to explain why? No, I don't. I just want to go home. Okay. Can you tell me what bar you drank those two vodka tonics at? Uh, yes. Um the one in this uh club in this terminal here. Yes. Okay. I've honestly never been in a situation handcuffed before. And so the name of the bar that I was at an airport is super far off. Okay. From the thing that I'm thinking about. Okay. Did your friends get on this flight or a flight before? They're already gone. Okay. Were they on this flight with you? Yes, they're gone. Good for them. Okay. It's not friends, it's co-workers. Co-workers. Okay. Did you all walk up together and they just put you on? Okay. No. And even if they did, I would still say no. I'm being super honest. Okay. Why would I say, "Yeah, they totally escorted with me." Like, why would I say that? I'm trying to figure out why you weren't let on. That's that's the whole I'm not actually sure either. I'm actually more disrupted right now than I've ever been. Okay. Well, that's what I'm trying to figure out. Misdemeanor. You know what? Very good point. Because the dynamics on this is the fact that you know what, she they didn't let her on because of her attitude, approach, disposition, and demeanor. I talk about the two A's and the two D's. That's definitely already in play, right? And she wants to go home. She's in cuffs. She's detained. And we got to figure out, are we going to let her go home or I don't know. It it just all depends, right? From this point forward, uh, her destiny lies on the two A's and the two D's. I'm definitely not completely sober, but I'm not. I appreciate you being honest about that cuz it is helping. I've never been an [ __ ] ever. If you have more than two items, just consolidate. The whole time she just, "Are you serious? I did that." I'm like, "What in the world?" But I said, "Okay, just go." So she scans on, goes through Thor, then she just start yelling, "F this. F I said ma'am. So she walked walked down here. Okay ma'am. And she had already scanned. Okay. She had did the biometric. Okay. Said ma'am we can't have that language. What's going on? Are you [ __ ] kidding me? I said okay let's come out talk to a manager. So I called for the manager. She called me on the phone said she'll be down. But that time the captain comes up because he didn't have all his paperwork for the international. So I called the manager back. I said hey the captain need his paperwork. He only got two. He need three more. What did you say the captain said? What did you say the captain said? So the captain's standing right there and she's like, "What did you captain said?" Mind you, I'm speaking about the captain need paperwork. So at that point, the captain talked to her. You're not going on the flight. This is why you're not. Get out of my face. You would not be talking to my flight attendants like that. If you're up here talking like this, you would not be talking to nobody. There you go. So at that point, the captain said, "She's not going at all." So, I had to wait for the other supervisors to come. At that time, Katherine goes down. She's doing what she's doing now. I'm on the phone calling police and she's like, "I can hear her. Is that her in the background?" I said, "Yes." So, she's like, "We going to get this. We going to get this." When did you start pulling your phone out to record as soon as they said you I don't know when my phone recording is an issue unless you have an issue. So, I don't think my cord recording and you and I have a conversation. If you want to let me off and I let you off, we're good. Otherwise, off my plane is already left off. Either arrest me now, detain me. You are detained. Great. Then give me a detain. And then I would like to contact my lawyer. Okay, great. Then let's contact my lawyer. Okay, then let's do that now because I'm done. I am trying to be nice and now I'm done. So, let's call my lawyer. Okay, we can do that. Great. No. Now. Now. Okay, hold the phone for a second. Where are all my roadside litigators? Where are my lawyers? They're on speed dial. Okay, cuz apparently it is. It's 19:37 on the body warn video. Okay, so that's 7:37 p.m. I'm going to tell you right now, where are you? Cuz let's play this out. She says, "Call my lawyer now." All right, cool. What if? Right. Let's play the what if game. Let's call your lawyer. Okay, get him on the phone. What are you supposed to do, lawyer? Why don't you come to gate C38 and then what? What's going to happen then? I have a lawyer now. No, I have a lawyer now. Do I have a lawyer now? Do not move. Do I have a lawyer now? Do not move. Do I have a lawyer now? Do I have a legal right to lawyer now? Then detained right now. Do I have a legal lawyer to just hire now or yes or no? No, you're being detained right now. I do not have an option to a lawyer right now. You're telling me I do not? Yes, you don't whatsoever. You can call your attorney after you've been booked. You got to go through the whole booking process. So, I do not have an option to a lawyer right now. You're not under arrest. Then I get to go on my own. You are being detained. So, I'm being detained. Then I want a lawyer. Are we good as far as the Okay, you're under arrest for PI. Okay. Now, you're under arrest. say what can I do exactly? You're under arrest for public intoxication for him or have an option. So, nope. No, I have a lawyer. I have an option to get a lawyer. If you fight us, I have an option to get a lawyer. When you get to the jail, you can discuss that with him. If you fight us, you get another charge and you don't get out in four hours. Do you understand that? Do you understand? Here we go. Okay. Youing piece of [ __ ] Then I'll sit down and I'll not get detained. So now I just Great. Then stop. And then I get the call to one. Get off of my cops. What did I do? Stop. Stop. You're We're charging you with resistance. I have a recording. Hm. Have you noticed that in all these uh airport Karen type of uh videos that we break down together, we have a conversation about there never really is like a place where we can just get the uh police cruiser, you know, as close as possible to one of the exit doors, right? It just so happens it's like at the farthest gate, right? And you have to like parade her through everybody, which has got to be so embarrassing. Pieces of mediocre [ __ ] of your life. You make yourself feel good making 60s grand gear. Youing [ __ ] tiny piece of [ __ ] You feel gooding your wife with youring 5 in dick. You can Here we go again. It happens all the time. Well, I shouldn't say all the time. Why are we always making these remarks about private body parts and it's always like the women saying that about the man? Especially when you're drunk. You guys happen to have any like spray cleaner, hand sanitizer? Alcohol. Oh, thank you. Yep. Okay, so here's my thinking. You know what? If you're not the officer that's going to go back to the Grreybar Motel with the suspect to do the booking process, go back to the station and just change out like your whole uniform and throw that uniform in the trash. I'm covered in urine. [laughter] Yeah. Uh I I sprayed it. So, but um so after everything just happened. Okay. So, she's not only going for the piano. Okay. So, she touched one of y'all too. Well, she's going for resistance. Um, I just I Are we okay? In your experience, would you say me personally charges will do something or just how I handle with this happening? No. And it's not going to do much more. Um, okay. I And I'm not I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but I'm I'm It'll save you a whole lot of time considering everything that's already happened. So, she's going so meaning I'll have to get days or I'll go to court duty. Oh, yeah. I can. Yeah. Yeah. And that's that's what I was trying to explain earlier like with simple assault. That's basically how it is because I mean it does help that there were witnesses for sure. It'll help but you're still going to have to go to court and you're still going to have to argue that that you know your side she's going to have to argue her side. It's a whole thing. Um I'm I'm not talking Don't don't please don't think that because if and if you change your mind if you absolutely change my mind your mind here's my card. You give me a call. We can mess that up. So, I'm going to go take a bath. Okay, let's wrap it up. Final thoughts. Uh, first and foremost, like always, you know what? Big shout out to DFW Airport PD, Dallas Fort Worth. Man, look, those cops nice as can be. I mean, big time, right? Professional, respectful, cool, calm, collected, all that stuff. Now, I wrote something down that the officer earlier uh in the incident said uh do you know why uh it escalated to this situation? I believe she was asking the female officer was asking the suspect that it's a very very important topic to bring up about deescalation. In today's police, there's all that we use the buzz word deescalation and we talk about that a lot. And you know what? We're there to kind of, you know, show our empathy, be understanding, and you can tell she was having a conversation with her. But deescalation can only be, you know, it's got a limit, right? Everything has a limit. You know, it's got a ceiling. And just know that when it comes to deescalation, we often use it as a verb more than we use it as a noun. In other words, we just can't be deescalating suspects. That's that's not what happens, right? the suspect has a vote. You have to offer that. And as you can tell, she took it to a whole another level and started getting pissed off, dropping fbombs, and she created this situation all because of her actions.
