On August 10th, 2025, an officer on routine patrol initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle observed following too closely and traveling at a high rate of speed. >> Roll down your back window. So, those tests are scientifically proven to show impairment when she com- like completed it the way she did. So officers saw signs. He arrested her, right? But if she complies and she blows and she blows like like zeros hypothetically speaking, then we'll call out what's called a drug recognition expert. It's a DRE. A drug recognition expert will then conduct supplement tests to our standardized field sobriety test and get blood pressure I may be speaking out of turn. I'm not sure if it's a blood pressure or heart rate what not. They conduct their set of tests and the DRE can make the determination as to what she's under the influence of whether it be a narcotic, whether it be a stimulant, depressant, so on and so forth. >> So she might get to get out tonight or what? >> No. No. Cuz we would call a DRE now. If the DRE is unable to make that determination, she may be charged DWI to the slightest degree and then more than likely in court it could be dismissed, but um I could smell the alcohol coming from her breath as we were speaking with her and she was being arrested.
