On September 27th, Broward County deputies responded to a disturbance aboard a Spirit Airlines flight where an intoxicated passenger was refusing to leave the aircraft after being asked to do so by the flight crew. >> Ma'am, let's get up. What's happening? >> What's that? >> The woman was initially charged with disorderly intoxication and two counts of resisting an officer without violence. One of the three charges was later dropped after prosecutors filed a no information on March 5th, 2026. She entered no contest pleas to the remaining two charges with adjudication withheld on both counts. Court records show she was ordered to pay $294 in fines and costs on one count. On the other, the court withheld sentence, waived court costs, and noted that she had completed a substance abuse evaluation.
