On May 1st, 2026, officers were dispatched following reports of a damaged vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that the damage had been caused by a woman he had previously been involved with. >> You again? >> Casey I guess she can't stay away from him. >> All right, so what happened? >> So, we got back together because she says she wasn't messing with Dietrich anymore. >> Who's we? >> Me and Casey. >> The girl that I dealt with? >> I don't know. >> The stadium called with you? >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Uh so I don't I thought you I thought it was somebody different that was there. No, it was you. Okay, I don't >> As Davis. >> Yeah, okay, I remember you. >> So anyways, uh she says she's not messing with Dietrich no more and then she connected her phone to my truck and I got nosy. I went through her recent she's she just talked to Dietrich from the jail and I said, "Listen, >> Dietrich is her baby dad? >> She's not pregnant that I know of. She says she says she's not pregnant. There's people telling me she is. >> saying that So the other guy at stadium was Adrian, right? >> Oh, no, no, no, that's McKenzie. That's the other >> Okay, okay, okay. >> That's McKenzie. No, no, no, no, I haven't dealt with that one. This one was way worse. >> I got you. >> I told her I said, "Listen, I'm just going to drop y'all off. Where y'all want to go?" You said you wanted to get dropped off on Duval earlier, that was original plans. How about I just do that? She said, "What about the pizza?" I said, "I paid $50 for that pizza. I'm going to keep it, honestly." And she's like, "Well, why? What's going on?" I said, I said, "I just picked up some shit's fake, you know." She's like, "Well, what's going on?" I said, "I don't want to start no drama. I'm just going to drop you off >> both of them right now. >> I'm just going to drop you off clean, that's it. I don't want no drama, that's it." She's like, "No, tell me." I said, "I don't want to put your business out there." She's like, "Well, it's my friend. You can just say." I said, "You're still messing with Dietrich. I see where he called you from the jail." She's like, "Oh, you're being nosy and in my phone and this and that." I said, "Just get your stuff and that's it." >> Yeah. >> She said she still has some stuff in the back of in the my truck. Uh I recall that they took all of it and I tried to leave. She jumped in the back of my truck and started beating my glass back glass. I That's when I called 911. >> Did she have Is there any damage? >> Uh I told her that I don't know what she tried to do. She tried to climb on my truck and she just it all up. >> Yeah, we're we're >> back there. I guess in a older silver sedan, yeah. >> She didn't like There's no damage to >> of the truck and she was like >> Oh, she was like >> she was punching my glass. >> Oh, okay. >> And so I opened the glass to try to get her fist to go through instead of >> getting it. I'll close it for you right quick. So I don't know if you can see where she hit it or not. Yeah, you can see where her fist was. >> Yeah. >> You can see right here where she was trying to hit my window. >> Yeah. >> She said she's got bruises on her from where I tried to drive off. I'm like, "Yeah, cuz I don't know what you're doing. Like I want you off my truck." And she's like, "I literally parked and said get off of my truck." >> Yeah. >> And she didn't want to get off and then she then I called the cops and while I was on the phone now when she started punching my window. So I like fresh charges for for that, man, cuz I let it slide the last time she did some [ __ ] like this. And I told her I said, "If this happens again, bro, I got to press charges cuz I'm tired of this." Cuz her boyfriend had called from jail and I answered. I'm like, "Who is this?" Like, "You're calling my girl." And she's like, "Why are you going through my phone? What the [ __ ] I don't play about my phone. You want to play, let's play." And she my stupid little try to crash my truck while I'm driving it. >> Okay. All right, brother. Just uh just hang out for me right here and then we'll get this squared away. >> Officer Harris, Key West Police Department. Okay. Do me a favor, step out the car, sweetheart. >> Me? >> Not you. You step out the car for me. Let me get your license, please. You. You. Let me get your license. Good. Step out the car. Wait right here for me. You got your ID with you? >> No, I don't. Nothing. >> You left it where? >> At my house. >> At your house. All right, turn off the car. Step out for me. All right, that sidewalk. Stand over there for me. Look both ways before you cross the street. >> Signal 14, there's no damage to this gentleman's vehicle. >> I'm going to ask both of y'all. Either one of y'all got medical marijuana license? Yes or no? Yes or no? Yes or no? No. Okay. Any marijuana inside that vehicle? >> No. >> So, no. >> go a lot smoother if you're honest with me, but okay. >> Casey, are you going to do anything about the police saying >> Okay. All right, so the reason why I stopped you guys is because you guys match the description of something that just happened over there at Seaside Drive, okay? You can stay right here with this officer, you can walk with me. All right, we can sit and talk right here. What happened at Seaside Drive? >> We were at the pool and we were swimming. We got out of the pool. We and then like he was and then like we left and we had our belongings in there. We were asking for our stuff back. And then like she tried to go grab it and then like he kind of like ran her over and then like um I tried to run up to him and I grabbed my stuff too. And then like I got in the car and then he was telling me to get out. So I was trying to get off and then he was trying to drive off and then I was like, "Bro, stop. You're trying to like hurt me and kill me while I'm trying to get off of the car. And and you're telling me to get off and you're running off and I'm trying to get off of the car." So I I was Every single time I tried to get off um the wheel, I was trying to step on the wheel to get off and the wheel was moving so I couldn't get off. And so I was telling him to just stop so I can like so I can like >> Scrapes and bruises? >> Like bro, right here. Yes, like I hurt myself there. I don't know where else. It's just all like all over my legs. And then he was like, >> Does he still have your belongings or what is it? >> Um I think he still has some of my things. I don't know. >> Inside of the car? >> Yeah. >> Was it in a bag or a left bag or >> scraped myself right here too. >> Was it in a white bag or a black bag or >> I don't know. Everything just like I don't know. >> Is your belongings what what bag is it? What would he have that belongs to you? >> Um it was my pink bag. I think I think I grabbed that though. I don't know. >> Okay. >> I'm pretty sure I did. And then just like this little thing that I have on right here. >> A pouch? >> No, it was um for my bathing suit, a little um >> Cover? Probably thinking. What happened over there at Seaside Grill? >> At the pool? >> What happened at Seaside Grill? >> We were just playing music in the pool. >> Okay. And nothing else happened? >> Nothing much happened. >> Not nothing much. I said what happened? This This is my initial interview, right? So this is when I try to figure out what's going on. >> I don't know. I was at the pool. I brought my other friend Cayden. >> Okay. >> And we were just at the pool. We were just playing music and nothing much happened. It's just This guy came here started acting weird. His name is um what's his name? TJ something like that. I don't know his name. And he was just like I don't know. He was being disrespectful. He was just like acting weird as Like he was being weird towards me and my friend and it was just like It was just like what? Like Like why are you being rude? >> How How old are you? >> I'm 16. >> How old is your friend? >> She's 18 or 19, I think. But we've known each other since middle school, like for a long time. And I don't know. He was just acting weird and I just didn't have like I didn't feel comfortable around him, so I just kind of wanted to go. Like I wanted to go home. And then he dropped He dropped us off back here and I just went with my car and then I just wanted to go home. >> Okay. You guys left the property in his car? >> Hm? >> You guys left in his car and came back? >> No, we left in my car. >> Okay. >> Like we had him drop us off back to my car. >> Okay. >> I don't know. It was just a guy being disrespectful and I didn't feel comfortable around him cuz he was like over the age and I was like I'm a minor and I just didn't feel comfortable with him being there. >> All right, Bella. >> What's the You said you saw some You found more damage? >> Yeah, bro. Like right here. She kicked the [ __ ] out of that dude. Look at that. That's down to the [ __ ] metal, bro. Like this. >> Key anywhere else that you >> Like you can feel this, bro. Like you can touch that [ __ ] That's down to the metal, dude. You can feel that, bro. That's I haven't even shut this door yet to look at it because she was hanging on back here and I'm just like, "Get off my truck. Get off my truck." You see this? All this right here. Oh, that just wipes off. Okay, you can see a scratch right there. You can see on the window you can see her fingerprints on the side. You can see her words on the window. She was smacking trying to break my window with her hand. Uh you can see all these all these right here. >> So, it never gotten physical at any point? >> No. >> No. >> No. >> How did you guys meet this guy? >> I don't know. He was just there. Like when I got there he was just there. >> Okay, he >> I don't know him from there. Yeah. >> So, you guys never met him and decided to jump in his truck and go riding with him? >> Like we saw him at the pool. Like she knows him. She's friends with him, but like I didn't know him. Like she knew him for a minute, but like he was nice and all that stuff and then tonight I'm guessing that he was just acting weird. I got in this car because I trust her and she knows him. So, like you know what I mean? >> She keyed the hell out of my truck. >> What's your name, bud? >> My name? Seve. >> What's your nickname? >> Everybody calls him Seve. >> Okay. Sit Sit right here. You can I'm talking. >> I get the Domino's. Domino's comes in an hour. We called it like 8:00, a little after 8:00 or 8:03. Domino's comes at like 8:59. I see the Domino's. I'm planning on just leaving and just not because I know she's crazy. She shouldn't be around her. Uh so, then she gets in the truck finally. She finally gets in the truck finally. Gerobi leaves cuz he lives right over here. And I'm like, "Where are we going now?" She's And she was like, "Drop me off at my house and I got to go get my sister." I said, "Okay. So, where is your sister at?" She's like, "Uh I don't have her location, but here's the address." She hands me her phone. >> Not important. I start I start driving there. Then she's like, uh, "Take a right here. Take a right here." I'm like, "Dude, that's not where you live." >> Hey, officer. Quick question. When I When she asked me to go in there and turn off her vehicle, I, uh, turned off the vehicle, obviously. I left the keys in the ignition, but, uh, I smelled marijuana emanating from the vehicle. And they both claims that, uh, there shouldn't be no marijuana in the vehicle. >> Hey, Harris said that there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. All right. Yeah, can you guys Can you have him, uh, go ahead and search that vehicle? So, Williams, I just smelled weed coming from the vehicle. It gives us the ability to search the vehicle. Can you search the vehicle? They will stay with me. Do not make any movements, okay? Just kind of hang out with me at this point, okay? >> Okay. >> Do you understand? >> Yeah. >> All right. I'm still waiting for my other officers to come back cuz there's a lot more to this than when I first showed up. Okay? >> Okay. Yeah, but I'm confused. Someone like called on my license plate? Like, they called and they told you on my license plate? >> For your license plate? >> Yeah, like did they call you guys and tell you guys my license plate? >> I don't know anything about license plate. >> She gets in her car and I leave. Then she gets on my truck and says there's some more stuff back there. I'm like, "No, get off my truck. I want to leave." And then I don't even know she's back there until she starts beating on my glass. She's like, "Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop." I'm like, "Get out, bro." And she's literally like like this like on the the side of my bed of my truck. Like, "Truck, stop. Get out." And then she starts beating on my glass. That's That's when I called. >> How long have you guys been together for? >> Off and on for a month or two. >> Have you known her longer or >> No, not at all. I've known her those entire maybe 2 months. >> 2 minutes ago. >> Okay. >> Do you got anything in that car that belongs to her? >> I took it out. I put it right here. >> What? What? Okay, so that was That was inside. >> No, it was in the bed. And that's not even hers, it's her friend's. >> But, still, it doesn't belong to you. >> I don't want it. I didn't even know about it. I thought she got all her stuff. >> But, it was back there, and she was trying to get it. She was trying to get her stuff from back there. She was back Listen here. I I told you I'm going to be legit with you. I don't like to be no curves or break no corners, but your behavior right now is like you just robbed me. You're going all over the >> No, no, I just got for real you I I honestly didn't know about that. I thought she got all her stuff. You're right. You're right. You're right. >> She was back there. And you knew she was back there trying to get her stuff. >> and I tried to get her to get out of the banging bag. I stopped. That's when I stopped. But, I didn't know she was back there until then. >> All right. Um Is that the only this belong to you? >> Yeah, that's it. >> Okay. That gray bag under there, who does What Who does that belong to? >> That's That's hers. >> Okay. Give her stuff. >> You got all that? >> Give her stuff. >> So, this is That's her bag, too? >> bag. She's got her stuff in there. So, she can have it. >> Okay. >> Don't want it. >> This is This is where we're at right now, all right? >> [clears throat] >> I got your side of the story. My partner, Harris, here got her side of the story, all right? Based on what she's told her, all right? I need to ask you specific questions, and I'm sure you know how this goes, but before I do that, I'm going to go ahead and read you your rights, all right? Having these rights in mind, do you wish to talk to me now? >> Sure. >> All right. Kelsey is 19. There's another female with her. How old is she? >> I have no idea. I just met her today. >> Okay. So, and correct me if I'm wrong, Officer, so what she explained to her was that I guess you purchased um alcohol for them? >> Not sure. >> All right. And on top of the alcohol that you also provided, you legal narcotics for them as well? >> She didn't get it from me. She got it from a guy named um Spider. >> Yeah, eight. Witness who stated that they saw you place that bag under that shelf. Now, this is going to get easy if you be truthful. >> Yeah. >> What are you telling her that? >> That's my bag, but her stuff in it, and I I want it. >> So, that's your bag. >> And that other bag is all >> Her stuff. I took it out of back of my truck once she got off of my property. I was going to leave it here and call her and say, "Hey, your stuff's over here." So. >> Well, I just was looking on the side of your car to see if I could find any more damage and there is I can smell the marijuana. You have a medical marijuana card? >> No, I do not. >> Okay. >> That bag is open. I can smell it, okay? Which give us probable cause to search it cuz when we came out you was on a crime and then two, not only were you on a crime, but your orders are in the computer. And three, I can smell the marijuana and then your tattoo is not yours. So, what I'm going to ask you to do right now is going to turn around facing your car and put your hands behind >> Now's the time to be 100% honest, man. >> bag. I'll be honest with you right now. That's my bag, but I gave it to her for her stuff. She needs another bag. All right, search it. >> All right, sir. We can walk over there to my car, all right? I'm going to just put you in there just to detain for the moment, all right? Not only did you guys lie to me cuz I asked you and you said you guys didn't. So, you guys lied to me, open container, and you have marijuana on you. All right. >> Why am I >> No, I I I didn't >> She wasn't honest when I asked you if was there anything in the car that she knew about. You told me no. >> Because how can I know when it's in someone else's purse? You already >> That that wasn't in her purse. >> purse. You didn't see nothing in my purse. You went through someone else's purse and then you found it in someone else's purse. I didn't really know if it was in her purse. I I asked her in front of him. >> My bad, but I didn't know. >> What about the open container? You didn't know about the open container? >> Of weed? >> Of alcohol. >> Of alcohol? Yeah, but y'all didn't ask me about alcohol. You were asking about marijuana cuz you were talking about the smell of marijuana. >> Okay. >> According to arrest reports, the man was charged with possession of marijuana and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The woman involved in the incident was also into custody and charged with possession of marijuana and criminal damage to property. Court records indicate that both cases remain pending with hearing scheduled for late May 2026.
