On July 30th, 2026, an officer responded to a hotel in reference to a suspicious incident. Hotel security met him outside and escorted him to a fifth floor room where a man was on the floor holding a woman to keep her from moving. A mirror had been torn from the back of the door and broken glass covered the floor. According to the report, the two had been married for about 14 years. The man told the officer his wife had been drinking at the hotel pool late into the evening and began arguing with him and calling him names in front of other guests. He said she threw a bottle on the ground near the pool and he called the front desk to report the broken glass. He said he eventually got her back to their room but the arguing continued and she pulled the mirror off the door with her hands. Their son was in the room and saw it happen. When the officer told the man to release her so the two could be separated, she began swinging and struck him in the chest and arms in front of the officer. >> Come on.
