On July 2nd, 2026, officers were dispatched to Centennial Bank in reference to a report of a criminal mischief incident. >> I'm just going to get on the phone now off the and then I'm going to take you. But it's about a bike that was left here and I got my physical guy cuz it looks like somebody rammed into the into the door this morning at 7:45. >> Okay. >> Okay. follow her. >> Yeah. And I get it, you know. We have a different way of doing things. I just I just want her to know that I am not person I'm not doing it personally and I I don't want to personally talk. But no problem. I'll have Mark call you and you also get a phone call from just so that way you know the two names. >> Thank you, Donnie. So, sorry. We're dealing with one problem after another. So, this bike was found at the front of the We had to move it here. >> Okay. >> The girls couldn't open the doors. >> It was jammed. And you'll see the tires. >> I see the tire marks. >> Yes. >> So, when we came, we couldn't get the doors open. He had to pry it open. I think we're probably going to need to replace it anyways because we continue to have issues with the latches. But this latch and this latch must have obtrused from it. So, it more than it normally was. Long story short, we just want to have a police report for the sake of once I get the physical security to send me the surveillance, we'll see who it is. >> I don't know how much we'll get out of it. We're probably going to have to pay it ourselves, but >> Oh, right. It's probably a drunk guy. I mean, it's not like anyone breached the door in a bike. Yeah. >> To rob a bank that has nothing in it. >> I mean, >> it's kind of it's I just have to do my due diligence of having a police report so that I can make sure that I make no um physical security will do their report. And >> so we don't know here. Let's go inside. It's hot. >> So So we really don't know what we have. We might have an accidental property damage. >> We might have a criminal mischief or we might have attempted burglary. >> Um and and I don't think it was I think it was, like I said, Well, >> I think it was a dropping guy that um >> most like most likely. However, [clears throat] >> I don't want I I I'm not going to tie myself to that story 100%. >> Yeah. So, what I figured I do is I get an incident number and then I'm going to have my physical security. He's almost done pulling the video. Okay. >> You can see the person because we have a 360 camera so you can see him. And then at that point, I at least just have a report for me to have uh because I'm gonna have to replace it and I why am I replacing the door, >> right? Right. >> And maybe insurance will cover it and maybe insurance won't cover it, but um that's why we called you before, which I thought it was kind of I understand it's kind of silly because we don't know what's basis of what it is, but I need to have an incident number for the sake of >> So, what I'm going to do is I'll I'll put some notes in our CAD system. I'll give you a CAD number, which is basically a case number. >> It's a crime. Is it not a crime? Don't know. It's Key West. >> Yeah, >> that looks >> like one of our probably regular street people's bikes. >> And >> and maybe they'll be looking for it. But what do we do with the bike? >> I would leave it on the bike rack at this point. Maybe they come back and then you can come call us and be like, "Hey, >> we don't have a camera out there. >> Not on that side, >> right?" >> But um Okay. Well, I just I want to just get a rapport for the sake of my doing my part and then I will call you if I find out more information. Yeah. And really the vid and and if you get the video and I can see the video, I can be like, "Oh, I know who that is." Or not. And and then watching the video, you'll be able to you'll be able to see some sort of intent. I would think if they're trying to do damage. You know what I'm saying? Like, >> yeah. Let me ask now so that you can I'm going to say, "Hey, William. >> Hey, he's here. Could he make a note that it's um that does it look like it's a drunk person?" I mean, that's what you know, being that we live in Key West, that [laughter] We can be Can I put you on speaker? >> Let me put you on speaker. Hold on. >> Um, officer >> Officer Bets Julio is on the phone. Julio, explain to him what you're seeing just so that he can add it to his notes. Um, it looks like I can't tell whether it's a female or a male. Just walked with the bike and uh kind of threw it against the door and then walked away. I'm going to send you the video. If you give me five more minutes, I'm downloading the u the videos that still of the person through the glass. Um, >> so they just threw it. They didn't actually drive in it with it. Drunk. They weren't drunk on it. >> No, no, no. He was he was uh holding it by by hand and uh kind of got to some of the door and let it like slide through the front of the door. Um I don't think the person meant to hit the door to be uh to be honest. I think just wanted to to fall on the sidewalk in front of it and it just happened that stopped with the door. >> He was drunk. >> But just give me a couple more minutes and I'll I'll send you the video right away. >> Okay. Thank you, Julia. Thank you. Appreciate it. >> Two weeks later, bank employees tell the officer the woman came back to the property. She walked up to her while she was with customers and demanded money and was told to leave. The bank decided to pursue charges. On July 17th, an arrest warrant was allegedly signed by a Monroe County judge. An officer on routine patrolling spots her walking down the sidewalk. >> Morning. >> Hi. Can we have a conversation real quick? >> Yeah. >> All right. So, I was just given some information that I need to talk to you about. Okay. >> From that a couple of days ago. >> Uh, no, a couple days ago. That's a That's No, don't worry about that issue. That was something uh I guess something happened at a bank not too long ago. Do you remember anything about that? >> I asked you a couple days ago. >> Sure. What what what went on there? >> I just went there and took off my shoes. I had an episode. >> Oh, okay. >> Did you buy my social security, dude? >> No, no, no. I don't need that. Um, so hold on. Come over here. >> Don't Why y'all coming to me like that? >> Like what? jumping out like that. >> Oh, because I just seen you walking, so I wanted to have that conversation with you. But all right. So, whatever happened that day, apparently the bank wants to speak to you as well. Um, but we're going to do that at another time. So, what's going to happen now is you actually have a warrant for your arrest. Okay. So, what I'm going to ask of you is walk over to the car here and face the car for me. >> Y'all got to arrest me. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> So, why I'm going to the jail? >> Yes, ma'am. And the only reason I'm telling you cuz I don't think you're going to fight me. So, otherwise, we doing this a little bit differently. But, I think you're going to be a pretty pretty good person. Okay. Throw my bag over here. >> Yeah, sure. Put it back over here. >> No. I'm going to throw the >> No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You can't. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. >> Now arrest me. >> Okay. Thank you. >> Absolutely. We're going to take everything with you. Let go your hands, please. >> You let go your hand, please. Thank you. >> And take me to my home. >> What was that? >> Take me to my home. If you go ask me, take me to the jail. >> Yeah, we're Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. I I have to lock them up so they don't get >> Let's go. >> Hold on. I don't want them to get tight on you. >> Y'all smile for um um Jimmy Buffett. Stop. >> Jimmy Buffett. Y'all sloppy Joe. >> Sloppy Joe's too. I like that place. >> I know. >> Please stop. >> Y'all want to check? >> No, I don't. >> Y ain't smart. And it's bad that you take. >> Can you 10 that please? I had some background. >> Over here, please. >> That's 62. Good sign. >> Yeah, I'm you ho. >> It is a sign 62. Yes. So I want y to take them to jail cuz y said you had a warrant for me. I don't think >> this came from FBI. >> Did it come from FBI? >> FBI where it came from when I was going to do war take cuz I used to met a farm guy cuz I take for Jimmy. >> I need my phone for um >> we're going to get it. Don't worry. We're going to get you >> and go outside your side. Your p your pouch. Sorry. Your pouch. >> Okay. Hang tight. >> Don't cry cuz I I ain't from here. >> No one's crying. Go and take a seat. >> Frank was asking if the warrant was signed. >> Yeah, he g he said it was all signed in the thing. >> Well, then why would he ask that? >> Then why would he Yeah, exactly. He just He just asked that over the radio. >> How long ago did this happen? Can we take her on the original report? >> Happened yesterday. Oh, wait. No. >> 16th of July. >> Happened on No, that was when it was signed. >> This happened on the This happened on the second, >> right? >> So, I just went right to the back page and saw this and thought it was a signed thing cuz it was stamped and signed. Yeah. >> Yep. out of one. >> Why would he give me this and not have a signed warrant? Like, what is he doing? >> Enderman counter. Well, actually, no. Let her go first. >> They don't even know. >> Okay. Just talk to her. >> Ma'am, come on. Step out. Step out. >> Step out, man. >> You don't have to talk. You're fine. >> So, y'all still got a warrant for me? >> Well, unfortunately, well, fortunately for you, this is the arrest warrant for you. >> Mhm. Okay. But it was signed by everybody except the judge. So, we have to go get it signed by the judge. So, just know that you will have a warrant for your arrest for what's going on. Okay. >> Yeah. >> All right. So, just know that. All right. But today, it wasn't signed by a judge. You're free to do what you need to do. Today. Okay. Okay. >> Hold on, ma'am. Hold on. >> Y when I have my warrant. >> When are we going to have it? Probably later today. >> How much number I want? >> Uh, I don't know. They have That's something that they're going to figure out. Probably not more than a couple thousand. >> Okay. They they signed. >> They signed. >> They signed. >> You talking to me or your phone? >> I'm asking y'all up. >> Yeah. Yeah. So, I just talked to the judge. Judge went ahead and signed it. Uh you wanted to know what your bond was? Your bond? I think he gave you like a you got $10,000 bond on it or something like that. >> Okay. So, >> so the charge is uh the charge is a criminal mischief charge. Okay. What he talked about earlier, something to do with the bank. I wasn't there at the bank, so I don't know what you did. But >> you got to take me in cuz I robbed the bank or >> No, not robbed. If it was robbed, we've been having a whole different conversation. It was not robbed. >> So why you taking me cuz a baker? Cuz I'm >> No, no, no. No, no, you're not. No, you're not. Not a baker. No, you're good. You're You're Yeah. Not a baker at all.
