On February 22nd, 2026, officers were dispatched to a Walgreens store in response to a reported theft that had just occurred. 51, come on 14. Going to be a white female with blonde hair. She took off. She's got a bag with her. We're going to review footage now. They don't know exactly what she stole, but her bag should be full of stolen items. Employees advised that the suspect entered the business, left behind a FedEx package, and then proceeded to select merchandise without payment before exiting the store. Hey, can you go check the area of Harriet? It's going to be a white female with like a bob haircut. She's wearing black shorts with a gray shirt. Blonde, and she's got black flip-flops on. Copy. She's got like a big black tote bag. She's got a white bag. It looks like a Publix bag maybe with a P on it. It's pretty distant camera in a black bag. Just 14. There's 650 on there, Harriet and 15. You got to put the bags down. Ma'am, if you put the bags down, do not resist. Okay. Drop the bag. Turn around. Put the other hand behind your back. Like call my husband? No, you may not. Face forward. Do you have any weapons on you or anything like that? Nothing sharp? Okay. Do me have driver's license? Step this way. Have a seat for a second. I'll explain everything to you. Okay. Please, have a seat. What about my stuff? We're not leaving. Have a seat. Okay. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to talk to a lawyer and have him present while you are being questioned. If you cannot afford to hire a lawyer, one will be appointed to represent you before any questioning if you wish. You can decide anytime to exercise these rights and not answer any questions or make any statements. Do you understand each of these rights that I have explained to you? Okay. Have you asked me or any other law enforcement officer to speak to an attorney? I'm the only one here, so have you asked me to speak to an attorney? I haven't asked. >> Okay. Having your rights in mind, do you wish to speak to me now? No. You don't want to talk to me about why you're sitting here in handcuffs at all? I don't know. I don't know what to say. I can't tell you what to say. Either yes you want to talk to me or no you do not. I don't know. Can I call my husband? >> No, you cannot. Well, what does this mean? Like I said, you don't get to answer or ask me questions Okay. >> and me answer them for you. Okay? If it was me that just got scooped up off the side of the street and put in handcuffs and detained by the police, I would want to know what's going on. I cannot tell you whether or not to talk to me or not without an attorney. Okay? So, you've said you understood your rights. I'm asking you if you want to speak to me 4:46 without an attorney or not. It's a very simple question. It's a yes or no. Um I don't know. Can I call my husband? No. I don't know. I don't know what to I don't know. Okay. You're on camera at Walgreens stealing items from the store. Okay? So, do you want to speak to me about the incident or do you not? I don't know what the right answer is to say. It's a yes or a no. Um I don't know. I don't know. Okay, that's not a choice. It's either yes you want to speak to me or no you do not want to speak to me. Well, what happens if I say yes and what happens if I say Okay, well if you say yes, then we can discuss the incident. If you say no, then we're waiting for Walgreens to advise on whether or not they would like you to go to jail. So I say yes, I talk we talk about what? Are you kidding me right now? >> No. Okay. I just Okay, so I just explained to you that you were on video camera at Walgreens shoplifting. Mhm. Okay, I didn't come around the corner and just decide to stop you out of thin air. Okay? So I've read you your rights because you're detained. You're in handcuffs, you are not free to leave at this point. Okay? You stated that you understood your rights. Yeah. Okay, so you have the opportunity to either talk to me about this incident without an attorney present or not talk to me. The choice is yours. I can't tell you which way to choose. I'll talk to you. Okay. Were you just at Walgreens? I was at Walgreens. Okay. Did you take anything from Walgreens without paying for it? No. Okay, so I'm going to check your bags. Okay? So now is the time to be honest. If you took something without paying for it >> Okay. Okay? If something small or big, now is the time to say it. Okay. What did you take? I took some some small random things. Okay, like what kind of small random things? Can I just see if they want to come to the payment office? What kind of small random things? I think a baby suit. A baby suit, okay. Is this the first time that you've stolen from Walgreens? Yeah. Yes? Yes. Okay. It was stupid. I I agree. Have you been arrested for stealing before? No. Never ever? No. Okay. Have you ever been arrested before for anything? >> I've never been arrested. >> Nothing at all? I've never had any interaction with a police officer ever. Okay. This is not a good way to start. No, and it's really stupid. I I agree. Um so where where do you live? I live like just down this Okay. I just got a job, yeah, but I got a lot of stuff. I need to find something here, so it's just going to Okay, where are you supposed to be working at? Well, I work from home. Okay, doing what? Doing some marketing. Okay. So, you just got a new job doing marketing. I'm assuming you haven't gotten a paycheck or anything just yet? No, it's just No. Do you live by yourself or with your husband? I live with my husband. Okay. Is your ID also in your purse? Yes. Um can you stand here for just a second? All right. So, a bathing suit with the tag still attached. Sunglasses, tag still attached. Extension cord with Walgreens label, tag still attached. That's more than just a bathing suit. You literally have an entire bag full of stuff. So, essentially everything that's in this bag right now was taken from Walgreens. I don't think everything was. I don't I don't remember what Okay. Then let me ask you this. Did you steal anything from anywhere else? No. Prior to going to Walgreens? No. Okay. So, everything that's in that public shopping bag still has a price tag attached to it. All of that stuff came from Walgreens, yes or no? Yes. Okay, thank you for being honest. Okay. The hang up on this one too is also in here. Hair products, glasses, uh wallet items, cosmetics, jewelry. Okay, you had credit cards in here. Did you have a means to pay for that stuff? Do these credit cards work? They work, but they're not like got a job. >> I get it, but like your boyfriend's Robert? My husband, yeah. Okay, and you know your license is suspended, right? Wait, what do you mean? Your driver's license is suspended. Wait, what? Why? Wait, just now? Okay. So, your license is suspended. It says the notice was given to you on October of 2025. Okay, and it went into effect in November of 2025. The suspension This suspension is in effect. So, this is the officer that took the report for Walgreens. So, I was coming up Duck, she was walking around the corner here, like heading towards Harriet. Um matched the description, flip flops, both bags on her shoulders, everything. Um I stopped her, detained her, advised her of her rights. Um she agreed to speak with me, said that yes, she was at Walgreens. Yes, she did steal items from Walgreens. Um I guess her and her husband just moved here not too long ago. She's been out of work. Just about to start a new job. This entire bag is filled with items from Walgreens. >> Yeah. Um never been arrested. Never had a case you got to show for. Um her license is suspended for FR responsibility. Um as of October, notice was given suspension November. Other than that, she says that she's never had any sort of arrest or court date or legal trouble or anything like that. What What all's in there? This is entire bag is full? >> Yes. Yeah, everything. Um makeup, extension cords, jewelry, bathing suits, hair products, candles, vitamins. Okay. Um Can you do me a favor? Will you take this bag back to Walgreens? They're going to do an itemized receipt for me. Um and also give them the victim's rights brochure. Yep. Alexandra, I'm Officer Bosetti with the QCSD Police Department. I'm taking primary on this case. Um so I understand you already spoke with Officer Beeman about this and you guys spoke about it. Um where where were you heading? I was going home. Did you go anywhere before Walgreens? Or did you just cut like leave home and go to Walgreens and then came back? I went went to went to cut my hair. To cut your hair? Okay. Where? Uh um QCSD Barber. Did you get a haircut? Got a haircut. Okay. What did you do after that? Then I went to Walgreens. You didn't go anywhere else before or after? She just told me she didn't take anything from anywhere else. Um but all this is >> cords from Walgreens as well? Yes. Yeah. It's actually got their packaging on it. Okay. Yeah, it's got the Walgreens Do you normally walk around with two bags? Do you like pretty empty bags? I'm just wondering why you had two bags with you. Why? Cuz this is like a grocery bag. Like it's not like a Were you at Publix today as well? No. Yeah, I I know what you're getting at. >> Yeah. Um all right, where was this? So in other words, you went to Walgreens and you brought the Publix bag with you to Walgreens. Yeah, I had I had that. Yeah. But you weren't shopping at Publix today. >> But I didn't go to Publix. Okay. Were you going to go to Publix today? No, that's just a tote that I have. Okay. And this bag, everything in there is from Walgreens, correct? Yeah. Okay. Okay. So Walgreens wants to press charges on you, okay? Um so that means you are going to jail today. Um so that's why I'm asking you these questions is to make sure we're not taking you to jail with the car keys, you know, the only car. Just give those keys to my husband. Um, I've been I've been arrested. And I'm in a cop car and we're just around the corner. And they're going to take me in because Walgreens wants to press charges and I have car keys and your ID and your wallet parked out the >> gate and I'll meet him there. I If you walk out, I'm just at the corner like by the mailboxes. >> really quick? Come to where like the mailboxes are. Okay, we'll see you in a minute. Okay. According to arrest reports, the woman was found to have taken 16 miscellaneous items with a combined value of $267.83. Based on the investigation, she was placed under arrest and charged with petit theft and was formally issued a trespass warning from the Walgreens location. Court records indicate the case remains ongoing as it proceeds through the legal process.
