On June 13th, 2025, officers were dispatched in response to reports of a woman striking a man with her vehicle. >> What's up, man? I know. >> She hit me with the car and her right passenger wheel was over my throat. >> Do you know her? >> I She's a Door Dash driver. We just ordered some food. She drove off with our order and we were just trying to stop her to get our order and she hit him with her car. >> There was a confusion with the order and we tried to tell that we were just around the way and she forced the issue trying to say that she was going to cancel the order but we were literally just right here and then when we stepped and tried to tell her we were in front of her, she just >> So you guys live here? >> Yeah, >> they do. >> Okay. And she's just a door dasher. >> Yep. >> Give us one second. Okay. Okay. No problem. I'm on the phone one of your dispatchers right now. I call the police, too. >> All right. I got you. I'm delivering for Door Dash. Okay. I ain't got no time to be breaking nobody's laws. They are tripping over some McDonald's a delivery, bro. >> Okay. I'll tell you what happened. So, I asked them to help me here. I got all the text right here. I got the text right here cuz they wouldn't answer the phone. They wouldn't answer the phone. So, I said, "Look, I'm trying to find you. I can't text and drive." Right. Is that against the law or not? >> Yeah, it is. >> Okay. So, I need you TO CALL ME BACK. I can't. Well, then I'm going to have to cancel the order and move on to the next service cuz I had two orders. Yep. I still got an order. I fool busted my window out. >> So, what was she trying to do? She's trying to cancel the order. >> Yeah, we called you. >> Like when she got here, >> she was already on the And I could show you because off of my phone, we made the order, but as you could tell, she >> Okay. So, after that, did you guys get into some type of fight or something or >> There was no fight whatsoever. She was just in the car saying she couldn't see us, but clearly we were right here and she was just trying to say she was trying to cancel. >> Did you guys try to stop her from going? >> Walking to try and find the building. She told us we were out on the phone. And she told me I told her just drop it by just drop the phone or wherever you are cuz she was having an issue. She was like >> we were on the phone with her the whole time. If we could get on the phone, we could show you that we were on the phone with her trying to tell her that we were right here. >> I said just drop it off and then >> So she hit you like directly. >> Yes. >> This is what they did. I SHE FINALLY CALLED BACK. >> I'M TALKING TO DOOR DASH. She I call I the first time she hung up before I could get all the way off. Okay. Then she said she called back two more times. I got to Door Dash. She did. >> Let me just hold right here. Okay, I finally call finally answer. HE SAID, "WELL, go ahead and answer the phone because I said I'm got to cancel this order, right?" That's why I called Door Dash. >> Okay, because they won't help me find them. >> That's what I said, right? >> So, he said, "Um, I'm going try to call them." That's when they called me back. I answered. >> They sat there. >> They called back three more three more times. I went on and um I was still talking to Door Dash. Then I turn around. Okay. Well, we figure everything out. >> I'm relaxed. >> So, we're walking to the building. She told us she was at 37, which is down that way. We're at 44. And we see the car driving by. I'm like, "Oh, I think that's her car." So, we're yelling after her, "Hey, hey, hey, can we get the order? Can we get the order? Right here. She's pulling up. My friends are pulling up. They're like, "Hey, can we just get the order, please? Like, we just want the order. We just want the order." She hit my friend with her car. It was my boyfriend and my friend right there that's on the ground. >> He stood in front of the car. >> No, he was on the side. He was like, "Hey, that's our order. Can we please just get our order? Can we please just get our order?" She was yelling, screaming. I was all the way down the road, but I saw it all happening. She whipped around and literally hit him with like ran him over. >> So, she was going to leave. >> Yeah. She was going this way and we're running after to get the order cuz as you can see, the order is still in the car. But we just wanted our order that we paid for. That was it. We weren't trying to cause problems. >> So where was he standing? Right where he's sitting right now >> where he got hit. >> Yeah. >> Or no. Or did he >> was Yeah. He was like like walking like this and she was driving. He was saying, "Hey, can I get the order?" >> And what did she do? >> She whip basically whipped the car around and just he was on the side of it. So she ran him over this way. >> Yeah. She was facing end up there. >> She was reversing and doing all this crazy stuff. After she hit him, he said, "Hey, hey." He was screaming out loud, "Oh my god, I'm in pain." like, "Help me, help me." She was running him over. My boyfriend was saying, "Hey, stop, stop, stop." And she's reversing, driving all crazy. So we pulled off onto the side after she was on the phone with her for 10 minutes because it was her order. >> Okay. >> So we came over here after she had said she was going to cancel the order and the Taco Bell just spot is just right here. So, we pulled off over here to where she could see us because she said she was having trouble finding us. And then as we pulled over here to where she could see us, she said she was still going to cancel the order. So, we proceeded to where she could see us so she didn't have to cancel the order. And then I stepped in front of the car so she didn't obviously have to leave. And then she she just proceeded to go forward. She didn't stop. She didn't refuse. She just >> So, how did her window get smashed out? >> I couldn't tell you that. I was the one under the car. >> Okay. >> You were under the car >> at one point. Yes. >> So, uh Okay. So, >> who who smashed out the window is my question cuz she said someone smashed out your her window. >> I couldn't tell you that. He probably was under the car >> and she was still revving her engine as she was there trying to literally hit him. He was saying, "Hey, hey, stop." She was Yes, I witnessed >> Willing to be a witness to everything. >> Absolutely. >> Do you have your ID? >> All right. So, we're going to bring you over to uh car. >> So, so can I finish? I still need to cancel that. >> Let me please. So, anyway, I was in the process of make getting my deliveries. There was two deliveries all at the same time. Okay. Then I sat out there and uh I picked them up. I come here. This is the first place I got to deliver to. Okay. So, I can't find the building. It's not that I'm not in the complex. I just can't find the building. So, I called I called. I said, "Look, I either got to come. You got to call me back and help me." Cuz they're saying they can't call me. Why not? But they end up calling. Okay. Make it make sense. So, then they say they can't call me. I said, "Well, I need you to call me or I have to cancel cuz I can't find you and I have to go on to the next customer, next delivery." I said, "Next delivery." Then, um, no, please don't. And then building 44. I need you to call me and I can't text and drive. I keep saying I can't text and drive. I keep having to stop. They're not understanding. I can't text and drive. I need to get going. I need to go on to the next delivery. Next thing you know, they they call back. They did call back and then I was talking to the person. When I called back, when I answered, they hung up. So then I went back to talking to them, talking to Door Dash. I'm still talking to Door Dash cuz I'm trying to cancel it. Then he sits up there and um she calls back three more times cuz she said she was the one calling. And then sure enough, she uh she when I answer the phone to her the fourth time cuz I was still talking and I got all said, "Let me answer her. See what she want." I mean, when I answer, she says, "Yeah, some something I hope you hear me about the order and I hope you hear and I hope you hear me." >> I said, "Well, I hear you and now I need to cancel because I'm not taking that." So then I went on I got back on with the person. I told them I get back on the other line with Door Dash. I'm still on the line with them. Get back on line door. Cancel her and please take them off my list. She just cussed me out and called me a f. Oh yeah. No, we're not having that. That's the dude said on Door Dash. Okay. So, they're canceling me. As I'm pulling out of here, I'm stopping to make sure I'm getting ready to turn out ALL OF MY CAR. AH, YEAH. I HIT THE GAS. I WAS SCARED. I JUST I PANICKED. >> You're saying those sounds? What does that mean? >> They jump my car. >> What do you mean jump your car? >> They literally attacked my car. >> Okay. How? >> Yeah. >> All three of them. >> Okay. But what do they do? [cough] >> Um, after this all happened, did the female say anything? >> She was she was on the phone with somebody trying to get them to come here and she was just screaming at us, this is over McDonald's. This is over McDonald's. Are you kidding me? D. And I'm like, you hit him. You literally hit him. And she's like, you was screaming all types. The 911 operator literally heard it. It's I mean I'm sure it's recorded. She was screaming obscinities at me and I just said, "Can you please stop yelling at me?" And she called me a stupid and a bunch of other stuff. She was describing me to whoever was on the phone with her and both of these people. I don't know. She was trying to have someone come up and do what? Do what to us. I don't know. She told them to come here. Hurry. >> Mhm. >> And yeah, we just I just called the place right away as soon as she like was literally stopped and I could get over here cuz I was all the way down the road when it actually happened. And I saw it and I ran over here. >> Did she try to drive away? >> Yeah. Oh yeah. She kept trying. Like she was literally like, "I'm stuck. I'm stuck. You need to come get me." >> Yeah. You see that? So she's saying that she was going to deliver their order. Couldn't find their building. So she called them. She kept giving them different billing numbers. So she was like, "Okay, I got to go to the on the next customer. I can't find it." Um, so [snorts] she said as she was coming to leave out here, uh, the three of them, uh, one of them punches the window, breaks the window, and they start like attacking the car. So she said she got scared. She drove up and hit him, >> but she didn't hit him intentionally. He was like kind of >> Does she know which one broke her? >> She said all three of them were attacking Linder. Um, I'll figure out which one specifically. >> Literally physically attacked on my car and he bust out my window. I passed the side window. They attacked my car. I panicked and hit the gas. I didn't hit the gas trying to hit anybody. I panicked because I was attacked out of nowhere. I mean, >> which Sorry. And as soon as he got the window done, that's when he sat up there and then he grabbed. And I'm shooting up here trying to trying to get him away and he's bam. And he hit me again. I'm grabbing and he grabbed me like this cuz he grabbed my glasses. >> How many times did he hit you? >> I don't even know. Probably two or three. No, more than three. No more than three. Okay. >> The man was charged with assault and criminal damage to property. The woman did not face any charges for striking the man with her vehicle.
