It was the morning of June 15th, 2023, and in Prairie County, Arkansas, traffic on I40 was humming along like any other weekday. But when a Dodge Challenger came into the sights of a White County Sheriff's Drug Task Force deputy, that peaceful rhythm didn't last long. The vehicle didn't just ignore the stop it bolted. Just like that, a quiet stretch of highway turned into a corridor for chaos. direction. Farther down the road, a familiar figure had joined the chessboard. Hazen Police Chief B. Taylor saw it all unfolding and decided not to wait around. The driver was quickly taken into custody following the successful maneuver. No injuries, no dramatic crash, just sharp planning and execution by local law enforcement. Sadly, no details about the suspect have been made public. But with a stunt like that, they're probably looking at at least a handful of felonies, a revoked license, and a long chat with a judge, it's easy to forget how much one good decision can change everything. But on that day, Chief Taylor's timing proved sharper than any getaway plan the suspect could dream up. On the evening of May 28th, 2023, officers in Little Rock found themselves in the middle of a chase that no one could have scripted. A rookie officer barely a day out of the academy suddenly faced the kind of test most troopers never see in years. The pursuit centered on a stolen Dodge Challenger, and for this new recruit, the stakes were higher than anyone could imagine. With his trainer watching over his shoulder, the rookie's first real test was about to spiral into something unforgettable. >> Holy crap. [music] >> Oh shoot. Holy crap, that was close. >> I'm now primary. Primary, >> you bring that charging round. Bring it. This is where the boys out or something. I got a bunch of dust up here. We're coming up on 30 baseline. >> The suspect tried to scramble away, but a short dash on foot only delayed the inevitable. Once in custody, the weapons and items pulled from his possession told the rest of the story, stacking charge after charge. For one rookie, this first chase was no gentle introduction to police work. It was a trial by fire in every sense of the word. November 15th, 2024 began like any other night shift on patrol. But for one officer rolling through Old Dixie Road near Upper Riverdale, that quiet routine shattered the moment a white Ford Mustang appeared. Stolen confirmed through Atlanta police records and already tied to trouble earlier that evening, it was a car screaming for attention. From that point on, normaly was gone, replaced by a decision that would change the night entirely. >> On 75 north on 75 north, >> hit that [ __ ] quick. All right, let me be taking out. >> Yep. Pit >> 41 41 41. >> Behind the wheel was Charlotta King, who soon found herself in handcuffs after a brief trip to the hospital. She was booked into Clayton County Jail while the stolen Mustang was hauled off to impound. It was a night that proved once again for every driver who believes they can outrun the law, there is always a moment waiting to prove them wrong. On December 10th, 2024, Trooper Vroomman spotted a white Dodge Challenger cruising in the left lane of Highway 67. Just another car among many or so, it seemed. For a few minutes, the driver appeared calm, even flicking on a turn signal like he planned to cooperate. But instead of pulling over, he hit the gas, turning a simple traffic stop into a high stakes pursuit. Maybe the manual. The chase came to a violent end when the challenger slammed into the cable barrier and the driver, later identified as Dantarius Gordon, made one last desperate run on foot. After a short struggle, he was caught with the help of a passing motorist, no less. Gordon's list of charges piled high, including felony fleeing and possession of controlled substances. In the end, the dodge wasn't the only thing that took a beating. So did his chances of freedom. On June 3rd, 2022, a stolen Ford Mustang tore through the streets near Hapville, Georgia. Its driver oblivious that a lowjack alert had already sealed his fate. Within minutes, Georgia State Patrol's criminal suppression unit locked on like a missile. Sirens screamed, tires [music] gripped the asphalt, and the cat-and- mouse chase lit up the night. The driver still thought he could outrun what was coming. 74 85 runway. is working out how in front of the runway now the airport out facing the runway on air trying to The chase ended as fast as it began when troopers executed not one but two PT maneuvers, shredding the Mustang's momentum and any hope of escape. The driver, Dexter Lamar Williams, was pulled from the car and taken into custody without further resistance. Charges followed swiftly, wrapping up another case where stolen horsepower met trained precision. When the GSP's suppression unit rolls out, the smart move is to just stop because there's no winning that game. It was August 2nd, 2023, and the night seemed quiet on Interstate 40 until a Dodge Durango blew past the radar like a rocket. The driver heading west wanted one thing, to make it back to Memphis, no matter the risk. But when flashing blue lights appeared in his mirrors, his calm drive turned into a desperate run. What followed was a dangerous game of cat and mouse across lanes and shoulders at over 100 mph. 202 show 1037 city 27 wish for 200 back speed 110 too. >> PBI. PBR. Let me see your hand. Let me see your hand. The Durango's occupants were detained without further resistance, bringing the wild chase to a calm conclusion. Authorities prepared multiple charges, including speeding, reckless driving, and felony fleeing. For a few minutes, it might have felt like an escape, but reality always catches up. This time, it came with sirens and a long list of citations. On March 29th, 2025, the routine hum of Interstate 85 in Fairburn, Georgia was broken by a flash of speed. Officer Irvin with the Fairburn Police Department had just clocked a Dodge Challenger barreling down the highway at triple digits. The driver's choice in that split second was simple pull over or press harder on the gas. He picked the ladder and that decision lit the fuse on a pursuit that was about to test every ounce of patience and skill from the officers behind him. We're coming up along the milestone. Take the 27. All right, we are coming up on 400 one one 41 41 41 41 midnight Hello friend. >> Got a bush line on the wall. Black male. Race sir, black short. >> The driver managed to scramble from the wreck and vanish into a wooded area, but his car wasn't so lucky. That Dodge Challenger was left battered and broken, a reminder of how quickly bad choices can chew up even the most powerful machine. The Fairburn police proved one thing that night. No matter how fast you run, they are not in the business of giving up. On the night of November 24th, 2023, trooper Blaine Lucas spotted a green Dodge Challenger that did not look right. Its temporary license plate was nearly impossible to read, and the way it rode up close behind another car raised every red flag. When the Challenger finally pulled to the shoulder, it seemed like the stop would be routine. But in moments like these, a trooper knows to never get too comfortable because sometimes the calmst scenes are the ones about to explode. We're going to go back 30 eastbound. In the end, the Challenger disappeared into the night while Lucas was left shaken, but safe enough to walk away after medical evaluation. His cruiser, however, was not as fortunate. This case is a reminder that in high-speed pursuits, the line between control and catastrophe is razor thin, and sometimes even the enforcers of the law are forced to pay that price. On May 15th, 2024, the morning traffic in Little Rock looked ordinary enough until a flash of yellow caught the eye of an Arkansas state trooper. A Dodge Challenger was weaving across lanes like the rules of the road were optional. Behind the wheel was 31-year-old Aaron Sadler, a man about to turn a routine traffic stop into something far bigger. What started as a simple violation was about to test nerves, patience, and a whole lot of asphalt. >> [screaming] >> for me. We go. Yeah. By the end, Sadler was pulled from the chaos with a backpack that told its own story pounds of marijuana bottles of promethazine and packets of THC treats. Officers also found nearly $4,000 stuffed in his pocket. The kind of stash that made his motives crystal clear. He left behind broken property, a damaged car, and a long list of charges that would follow him long after the tow truck hauled his Challenger away. June 16th, 2023 wasn't looking great for the man driving a blue Ford Mustang at breakneck speed through Arkansas. Convinced he could ditch the law, he floored it, unaware that trooper Darren Evans was hot on his trail and not in the mood for games. With a warrant already hanging over his head, the driver decided to run instead of explaining. >> Speed 115, he turned down Highway 185 towards the airport. He ran off the road, but he's back on now. Beans are 86 on this highway 185. Move in to TV hour. We're going about 80 right now. TVI roll over. TVI roll over. With the Mustang upside down and the suspect trapped, it was game over. Evans's precision stopped, the threat cold, and the driver was taken into custody. Let's hope next time he chooses the courthouse over the highway. On the cold morning of January 29th, 2022, a black Mustang tore down I40 like it had no time to waste. Corporal Hubard clocked it flying past mile marker 275 and moved in for a stop. But when he pulled alongside, he quickly realized this wasn't just a lead foot. The driver of Missouri Parolei had no intention of stopping. What came next would turn the highway into a full-blown gauntlet. By mile marker 269, the Mustang slowed as if to surrender, then gunned it again. Two loud bangs rang out as it passed, uncertain if they were gunshots. Hubard grabbed his rifle and stayed locked in. Corporal Roberts joined the chase and deployed spike strips near County Road 513. The Mustang hit them hard and its tires disintegrated. Yeah. >> He crashed out. The car veered off into a ditch, smashing a utility pole. The driver bailed out holding a pistol and what looked like a gun case sprinting across lanes. His passenger was caught right away after tossing unidentified objects from the car during the pursuit. Ultimately, the chase ended in an arrest after a search through fields, highways, and chaos. The suspect was hit with multiple charges, including firearm possession and fleeing. On November 20th, 2023, what started as a simple patrol on Interstate 430 South quickly turned into something far more dangerous. A black Ford Mustang with a broken headlight refused to pass a state trooper, slowing in the middle lane as if waiting for trouble. That little hesitation was the spark that lit the fuse. Within minutes, the quiet night along the interstate would be shattered by flashing lights, roaring engines, and choices that could not be undone. Heat. Heat. Guard 26. He's going to be in a red focus. Watching for the exterior to give me the challenge. I'm out with state police. I just pitted someone on 430. We're going to be right back at the stage cuz no need to. >> Are you making sure there's going to be help from Frank over at stage? >> I'm not sure if the troop is okay. He's spun out in oncoming traffic. I'll be behind a red Ford Mustang. >> The man behind the wheel was later identified as Clifton Layman Thomas. He had to be cut from the wreck unresponsive before being rushed away with a severe head injury. Authorities filed a stack of charges, felony fleeing with injury, secondderee battery, reckless driving, speeding, and more. In the end, all it took was one defective headlamp to set off a chain of bad choices. On October 3rd, 2020, troopers from the Michigan State Police Metro South Post spotted something that didn't belong to its driver, a stolen Dodge Durango SRT roaring through Detroit. The driver made the split-second choice to floor it, gambling that the Durango's raw power could outpace police precision. What followed would push both man and machine to their limits on Detroit's crowded streets. >> All right, we're committing East Davidson through 75. >> 75 East Davidson. >> Traffic light speeds of 110. Traffic lights up >> good right you're good right got clear traffic what are you doing >> in the end the suspect was taken into custody without further chaos charged with fleeing and eluding along with possession of a stolen motor vehicle and several other offenses. For all that risk, the outcome was inevitable. You can't outrun a coordinated team with training and patience. Just another reminder that a few reckless minutes on the gas pedal can rewrite someone's life overnight. It was March 15th, 2021, and a Georgia State Patrol trooper sat quietly in the median engine, idling, watching traffic roll by. Then came the radio call, a pursuit northbound on G61. Within seconds, the trooper became the spearhead of a chase that would test every ounce of judgment and timing with a fastmoving Mustang weaving its way toward Interstate 20. We're ready to travel. Stupid. We're hitting him. >> [screaming] >> When the trooper finally executed a pit, the Mustang shot off the roadway and down an embankment, ending the chase in a crash among the trees. The driver and passenger bolted into the woods, leaving a third occupant behind to face the flashing lights alone. While one suspect slipped away, the GSP's quick reaction likely prevented something far worse on that busy stretch of road. Sometimes the forest catches what the highway can't. Miami traffic can be a beast on any given day, but on March 16th, 2025, it was one man behind the wheel of a Ford Mustang that turned the highway into a racetrack. Trooper Mulvy was just doing his job when he spotted the black Mustang with white stripes weaving recklessly through traffic. A simple traffic stop should have been the end of it. Instead, Alejandro Garcia Estrada stomped on the gas and the streets of Miami braced for a storm. Heat. Heat. 1842 just crashed out. >> Estrada didn't just face the wreckage of his Mustang. He faced the consequences of his own arrogance. Combative after being pulled from the car, his antics only worsened when he offered trooper Hernandez cash for his freedom. In the end, he left Miami streets for a hospital bed and then a jail cell, proving yet again that no amount of money can buy your way out of reckless decisions. On March 8th, 2025, Clayton County deputies were watching the steady flow of traffic on I 675 South when something broke the rhythm. A white Dodge Challenger blasted past their radar at 137 mph, a speed that turned the freeway into a racetrack. And right behind it, more cars followed street racers who seemed determined to push their luck. Among them was a blue Ford Mustang driven by a man who had no idea his wild ride was about to spiral out of control. passing 138. Stand by for pit. Stand by for pit. The driver was identified as Nathan Lewis and what deputies found next raised eyebrows even higher. A loaded 9mm pistol sitting in the console. Lewis now faces felony fleeing reckless driving, racing, aggressive driving, and a laundry list of other charges. It is a sobering reminder the faster you run from the law, the quicker the road runs out. May 24th, 2025 started like any other night for trooper Raphael Garcia cruising down Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. His headlights landed on a black Ford Mustang, the kind of car that turns heads, but had one problem. A simple equipment violation. Nothing dramatic. Nothing that should have made the news. But when the lights and sirens came alive, the driver decided to write his own headline. >> Push push attempted regain. [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] Good job. Go. >> Foot male. Black male. White shirt. Blue shorts. >> The man behind the wheel was identified as Mandrel Parnell. And what he carried made clear why he ran. Nearly half a kilogram of marijuana, a stash of cocaine, and paraphernelia sealed his fate. Now he is facing a list of serious charges. Proof that one reckless sprint cannot outrun the consequences waiting at the finish line. It didn't take long for a routine pursuit to turn into something much more intense. On February 26th, 2023, an Orange Dodge Challenger stormed up I75 with Henry County PD hot on its heels. But just ahead of the chaos, Trooper Williams of the Georgia State Patrol waited like a chess piece already in position. The moment he saw the suspect zip by the chase, officially changed hands. 2000 206 no longer anything. In a final burst of desperation, Nathan James Rogers ditched the car and took off across I75, dodging vehicles like it was some real life game of Frogger. Unfortunately for him, that stunt only got him as far as the opposite shoulder, where deputies brought the whole ordeal to a quiet end. There's no full charge sheet yet, but let's be real. Running from GSP and a Challenger and then on foot through freeway traffic that's got multiple felonies written all over it. One wrong move led to another, and this chase ended right where it should have. On December 3rd, 2023, a quiet Arkansas highway became the stage for one of the most reckless decisions a driver could make. A Dodge Challenger was pulled over by Arkansas State Police Trooper Christian Morphice during what began as a simple traffic stop. For a brief moment, it looked like cooperation was on the table. But with the trooper just steps away, the driver suddenly made a choice that would launch a dangerous pursuit into the night. He crashed. All right. He wrecked out. He wrecked out. [screaming] Give me a 16. >> When the chase ended, the Dodge Challenger was mangled in a roadside ditch and the driver lay fatally ejected. The wreckage told a tragic story. Shattered glass, scattered debris, and the unmistakable stench of smoke and fuel. Running from the police may seem like an escape in the moment, but at 160 mph, it was a fatal gamble that no one could win. Some choices defy logic, like flooring a Dodge Charger past 120 mph with children in the back seat. On August 7th, 2024, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper tried to stop a gray Charger for speeding on Interstate 10. Behind the wheel was Steve Manuel Jr., A man who turned a simple traffic stop into a nightmare scenario. One left out. Get the county unit around 180. After a 6-hour manhunt involving multiple agencies, Manuel was finally caught near a gas station, dehydrated, exhausted, and out of luck. Inside, the Charger troopers found drug residue paraphernalia and evidence of reckless endangerment. He was charged with fleeing and eluding child abuse, possession of drug paraphernalia, and more. No thrill is worth risking young lives, and this chase stands as a brutal example of it. On June 27th, 2023, a silver Mustang took a reckless chance against Arkansas State Police along Scotland Formosa Road. The driver rolling dirty with a suspended license and meth in the car had zero intention of cooperating. Trooper Daniel Walcott tried to keep things calm, but the suspect had other plans swerving through lanes and burying the pedal like there were no consequences. Get on the ground. [screaming] Hands in the air. You put your hands in the air. Put your hands on my car. He racked up a stack of charges, including fleeing and possession with intent to deliver, not to mention several traffic [music] citations. It's a sharp reminder that mixing drugs and muscle cars is a recipe for disaster. Thankfully, no one else was harmed, and Walcott stopped things cold before it could have ended far worse. On June 15th, 2023, what began as a simple observation turned into a high stakes freeway disaster waiting to happen. A patrol unit near Jonesboro Road spotted a car with a completely blacked out windshield, a red flag if there ever was one. But the moment the officer moved in, the driver didn't hesitate. No waiting, no talking, just instant chaos [music] as the Challenger hit the gas like it had something to hide. Come on up. Memorial Pass in passing Hill Street 89 traffic. The driver was later identified as J. Shaw, a convicted felon with a stolen Glock stashed by the seat. He got a K-9 bite a hospital trip and a rude awakening when deputies didn't back off like the others he'd outrun. He now faces felony fleeing theft by receiving possession of a firearm by a felon, reckless driving, and 11 more charges. Guess some lessons come with teeth. Speeders get stopped all the time. But on June 3rd, 2023, one Dodge Challenger in Savannah decided to make it personal. The driver could have accepted the ticket. Instead, he chose chaos. In just seconds, what started as a basic traffic stop turned into a high-speed showdown packed with near misses, wild turns, and one very persistent trooper. Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it. Pit breaking pit. Uh, I think we're on. Stand by. The man behind the wheel turned out to be unlicensed and freshly high with a mouth full of excuses and the scent of weed on his breath. He admitted to fleeing just to avoid another ticket. Instead, he racked up a felony level to-do list. After being cleared by hospital staff, he was booked and charged accordingly. Let this one be a reminder. When you try to outrun responsibility, the only thing waiting at the finish line is reality and handcuffs. There's something about muscle cars and bad decisions. And on January 28th, 2024, that combo came flying through Brooksville in the form of a gray Dodge Challenger. Trooper J. Peters clocked the car at 77 in a 50 zone, pulled it over, and began giving instructions from his loudspeaker. But before the Challenger could even roll down a window, it bolted. And just like that, a routine stop exploded into full-blown chaos. I'm going to be a white PA road 136 mph. for us. >> Turns out Brandon Cory Johnson wasn't just speeding. He was wanted for a probation violation involving battery. He'd been driving without a license, had two minors in the car, and enough drugs in the trunk to raise every eyebrow in Hernando County. Authorities booked him on the spot, and the Department of Children and Families immediately stepped in. This wasn't just a traffic stop gone wrong. It was a full crash course in what not to do. It was 11:07 p.m. on September 20th, 2023, and Trooper Lucas was cruising down I440 when something flashed past him in the far lane. Two cars neck andneck blasting down the interstate like it was a drag strip. No hesitation, no fear, just raw horsepower and the kind of arrogance that thinks 150 mph is normal. Lucas flipped on his lights and sirens, but the party was already splitting up. One took the ramp, but the other, a white Dodge Challenger, made a different kind of decision. All right. [music] 4:30 going northbound. Let me see your hands right now. You let me see your hands. >> Once the dust settled, the driver later identified as Dimmitri Barton chose the highway pavement as his final resting spot. temporarily at least. His passenger, Amparro Lopez Gomez, was hurt and claimed she'd begged him to stop. Barton was checked out at Baptist Hospital, then taken straight to Palaski County detention. Another night, another wild ride that proves high-speed ego doesn't mix well with blue lights and strategy. On February 29th, 2024, Arkansas State Trooper Booth spotted a silver Mustang with a sketchy temporary tag. Something about the seal didn't sit right, and that gut feeling was dead on. What should have been a routine stop quickly turned into a heartpounding pursuit right now? control. They walk down. Come on. After ditching the car, the driver bolted towards someone's house, forcing Booth to radio in a description of a black male in a brown jacket. It took North Little Rock police to track him down near the railroad tracks. Once medically cleared, he was hauled off to Pilaski County Jail. All that chaos because of an expired tag. In the end, the suspect earned a whole stack of charges in exchange for one morning of chaos and terrible decisions. March 3rd, 2023 started like any other in Conway, Arkansas. Not exactly the place you'd expect a stolen car to turn into a multi- agency pursuit. But when someone lifted a black 2015 Mustang and let it loose on I40, things escalated fast. came out further down here. If I need to turn around, I need to get back 30 behind you. com after a stop sign. He >> surrounded. He's off in the ditch. We're out of here. >> After crashing out, the driver claimed he fled because he'd never get another chance to drive a car like that. He probably wasn't wrong. The suspect was arrested without further incident, facing charges for fleeing reckless driving and possessing stolen property. The Mustang was recovered but bore the scars of its chaotic run. Some people treat traffic laws like suggestions. On March 18th, 2024, one driver in a white Dodge Challenger decided 96 mph sounded better than 65 and that stop signs were just decorative. He could have pulled over when the lights came on behind him. Instead, he did what every trooper hates to see. He floored it. That choice kicked off a chase that left behind roads, fences, and any sense of common sense. >> 419, you want to do 31 stop. passing away station now. I'm right on the way station 41 466 that county line. They're going to >> All right, we do have a hit on the stop six. All right, we're still going a little too fast in pit. Rear pass. Rear driver signs going out. >> Rear driver side going out. I'm right here with Standby. Standing your ass. [screaming] Show me your ass. >> The driver, later identified as Kamari Stokes, was finally taken into custody after that wild detour ended the way most of them do badly. His passenger, Brandell Crossley, claimed he woke up mid chase and tried to surrender from the window. Deputies also found marijuana tucked between the seat and center console. With no valid license and a growing list of charges, Kamari's attempt to outrun the law just earned him a longer stay behind bars. Not everyone behind the wheel of a Mustang is cut out for a clean getaway. On May 11th, 2022, one driver with Texas plates found that out the hard way. He thought raw speed alone would be his golden ticket. But just ahead, a surprise he wasn't ready for. Speed for 130. Looks like he's taking a ride. I don't think he realizes it's a dead end. You just hit him at the end of Harden. The Mustang's thunderous sprint ended not with a bang, but with a stall. There weren't any specifics released on charges, but the takeaway was loud and clear. No amount of speed matters when you're outmaneuvered. And Robinson, he proved once again that knowing the terrain always beats flooring it blind. December 20th, 2024 kicked off with a face palm worthy move. An FHP trooper came headto head with a Mustang traveling the wrong direction down State Road 79. Signal four needs. I'm going to go down pretty bad. After pulling every wrong move in the book, Daniel was finally taken into custody. He's likely looking at multiple charges, including resisting and reckless driving. Thankfully, no major injuries were reported, though his pride and his Mustang definitely didn't make it out unscathed. In Florida, trying to outrun fate usually lands you in cuffs. It was July 31st, 2021, a humid Georgia night, when a black Chrysler 300 SRT8 decided that an intersection was its personal racetrack. Smoke rolled off the tires as the driver spun donuts under the street lights until a Georgia State Patrol cruiser rolled up blue lights, cutting through the haze. Instead of easing off the throttle, the driver stomped it, turning a spectacle into a high-speed escape through Atlanta's south side. What came next was chaos on wheels. >> Connector connector. >> Uh, left lane. We're going 75 85 north 156. We're almost We're almost 66 north 166. >> Uh we're going about 80 setting up for a pit 482 pit attempt. Uh failed. Setting up again. We're cross under fire road. He's going to try to clean him again. Northbound approaching fire. Get out. Out. 50. >> When the Chrysler's rear tire blew and sparks flew, it was only a matter of time. The driver's desperate foot chase into the woods didn't last long, officers from multiple agencies closed in and made the arrest. Now facing a long list of charges, this stunt will live on as yet another case of showboating gone sideways. It was November 27th, 2024 when the calm along Interstate 530 was shattered by the roar of a Dodge Challenger tearing north at extreme speed. Sergeant Monroe joined the pursuit as the muscle car weaved through lanes, showing zero regard for anyone on the road. With each reckless swerve, the driver seemed determined to test the limits of both the car and the troopers chasing it. What happened next would unfold in seconds. A high stakes moment at nearly 140 mph. Approaching the north interchange speed 132. The driver's luck ran out when the Challenger spun out and slammed against the median wall, leaving its driver no choice but to flee on foot. Despite the passenger being the vehicle's owner, they refused to help identify the runner, a silence that said everything. The car was impounded and the search for the unidentified driver continued. At those speeds, it was less about escape and more about survival. On January 24th, 2021, a Georgia state trooper sitting on Interstate 85 near mile marker 51 noticed something off a white Mustang flying past like it owned the highway. The trooper clocked it at well over 100 mph, swerving between lanes like a drunk on a racetrack. What began as a simple speeding stop quickly turned into a dangerous pursuit as the driver refused to slow down. And behind the wheel was someone whose judgment was clearly impaired by more than just adrenaline. Show me 1080. >> Hit hit. After a precise pit maneuver brought the chase to a brutal stop, the driver identified as Martha Hendrickson was found intoxicated, confused, and shaken. She was charged with DUI speeding, reckless driving failure to maintain lane and fleeing. Hendrickson was treated for her injuries and later booked into the Kaweda County Jail. Another late night decision fueled by alcohol and speed that could have easily ended much worse. It was a buzzing night in Atlanta, Georgia, when two Dodge Challengers, one gray, one white, stormed through downtown streets in the middle of the night, racing side by side as if the highways were their personal playground. Troopers from the Georgia State Patrol locked in, following the pair as they tore through exits and interchanges, dodging every chance to surrender. It was like a scene straight out of an action movie, except this one was all too real. You can see cars >> to the right. >> All right. Yeah, they're trying to take I 20 together. Still coming up to I 20. >> Coming up. >> Yes. Uh but you're probably better off. I I don't know to be honest with you. Uh, we're passing up Clayton County units now. Passing Clayton County units now. Stand by. >> Passing Clayton County. >> Pit. Pit. Pit. I'm trying to get him off the road. Get him disabled. Stand by. >> All right. Stand by. multiple pairs of contacts. >> After the pursuit came to an end, troopers arrested the driver of the gray Challenger while the white one managed to escape into the night. The captured suspect was booked on multiple charges, including fleeing and attempting to elude reckless driving, speeding, obstruction, and racing on highways. His vehicle was impounded, and investigators continued efforts to locate the second driver involved. One muscle car got away, but the other served as proof that running from the Georgia State Patrol never ends well. July 12th, 2023 was the kind of day that seemed ordinary until trooper Brandon Truan spotted a red Mustang that had already made headlines with its reckless escape. Rolling back into Jackson County, the stolen carried not just speed, but a shadow of bad decisions trailing behind it. Newport. I'm on 14. Just cross back into Jackson County from Independence. Try to catch up to Ford Mustang. My neighbor down here in the escars. Go ahead and roll an ambulance. just inv. >> What began as a desperate attempt to outrun the Arkansas State Police ended in cuffs confusion and a wrecked Mustang that would never see the road again. The chase's bonejarring crash into a pole served as the final punctuation, proving that speed and recklessness only carry you so far. with suspects taken into custody and the truth pieced together from dash camera footage this night stood as a harsh reminder that chaos always catches up. On a drizzly afternoon July 8th, 2023, one gray Mustang tried to beat the odds flying down the freeway trying to ditch cops and ditch evidence along the way. Derek Bleven thought he had an escape plan, but Arkansas State Police had their own and trooper cash was about to put an end to the madness. clear 63 for Adam 68 throughout narcotics 127. >> Excuse me. 125 125 now 125 passing 125 throughout it.
