Officers made contact and inquired whether he was a registered guest, at which time he stated that he was not. >> Do you have a Florida license? >> Yeah. >> So, why would you give me this first? >> I honestly thought it wasn't mine. >> You're not allowed to have two, first of all. If you have a Florida ID, you're not allowed to have this. >> a driver's license. That's my ID. >> It doesn't matter. You're not allowed to have two different state state IDs. Just going to tell you that right now to start off, okay? Where are you currently staying? >> I live on my boat. >> So, this address here is no good? >> Which one? >> Cott's? >> Yeah, I've registered through Cott's to get my driver's license down here. >> Okay, right, but Florida statute says that you 30 days to update your address anytime you have a new mailing address. If you're not staying at Cott >> I don't have a new mailing address out there. My mailing address is Cott. >> You still get mail at Cott's or if I call Cott's, are they going to tell me that you're good there? >> there, yeah. >> They're going to say no problem. >> I'm not in bad graces with them. >> Okay. You've been arrested before? >> No, sir. I mean, not here in Florida. I've been arrested in Illinois. >> Yes. Have you been issued any trespass warnings? >> No, sir. >> Give me a second. You're um before I go over there, honesty goes a long way. Um your arrest in Illinois say any of them are felonies? >> Yes, sir. 2006 for armed robbery. I was released in 2022 and haven't been in trouble since. >> You've been released from >> prison in 2022. >> Okay. So, you're registered as a felon here in the U.S.? >> I have to register. >> Give me a second. Were you calling to me before? >> Yes, sir. That's all. Biggest One of the biggest mistakes of my life was not giving you that [ __ ] second chance, but we'd be out there right now kicking ass. >> [laughter] >> I ended up giving that boat away. That's That's I had those kids on it and they took a [ __ ] in the bilge and they had all kind of drugs in there and I was so freaked out. Remember I broke my back and I was so freaked out that >> that I couldn't empty the bilge. >> Yeah. >> And they were telling me that I was going to get a thousand-dollar fine or a ten-thousand-dollar fine. >> I do remember. >> So some guy come along with 500 bucks and he says, "You want to get make this all go away?" I called my wife and she said, "I don't care what you take for it. Get it out of here." >> Wow. >> I I I wish the hell I'd have given it to you, Russell. That was That was a serious mistake on my part. >> It happens. Don't worry about it. >> You know what? We're going to find another one. >> We will. We will. Good seeing you, sir. >> to see you, man. >> You stay well, okay? >> Yes, sir. Thank you. >> You're welcome. >> So, this guy here, the bald guy, so he hands me two different IDs. >> Right here, buddy? >> Mhm. On the right. He was released in '22 >> Okay. >> for uh armed robbery out of Illinois and never registered. >> Oh, he never registered down here? >> Nope. Uh and it looks like and it looks like he has already been warned from here on the 14th. And he's hiding his back. He didn't want to open it when he pulled out his thing. Justin, were we out with you here on the 14th? >> Uh here on the beach? >> Uh-huh. >> If you were out here that night, yes, sir. >> Okay. And uh what did they tell you that night? >> That uh the beach was closed after 11:00. >> Uh-huh. And they issued you all the trespass, parking beach after hours. >> I don't >> Honestly, sir, I don't remember all that. I just remember them saying that the beach is closed after 11. >> Okay. So, I have in there you were issued that warning. And I also um >> Sir, I work tonight. Please don't arrest me. >> You didn't register as as a felon in Monroe County. >> to. Like, that's not something in Illinois. Unless you're a sex offender, you don't have to register. >> And and they didn't tell you that when you were uh when they were out with you? >> When who was out with you? >> The other officers on the 4T? >> No. >> Really? >> No, because the issue of me being a convicted felon never came up. I just gave my ID, they ran me. I didn't have I don't have no warrants or anything. And they told me that the beach was closed and that was that. >> Okay. >> I mean, if if you tell me how to register, sir, I'll register. I got no problem with it. >> All right. So, let's do this. >> I'm trying to stay out of jail. >> Go ahead and stand up. I'm going to detain you. >> Please. I I work tonight. >> I I understand. You're not under arrest at this point. So, I'm going to ask you one more time and then I'm going to make you turn around. >> Yes, sir. >> I'm going to go over to my car. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. I'm just telling you what we're doing. How long have you been living on your boat? >> Um I went back to Illinois over the summer last year. And then I came back in I think end of December, beginning of January. >> What's in the bag? >> I have my clothes, my wallet, my phone. >> Uh-huh. Why didn't you want to open it all the way? >> Cuz I don't like opening my bag in public, sir. >> Okay. Anything in there Anything in there that you're going to have We're going to have issue with? >> I mean, I got weed and stuff in there. >> How much? >> I mean, just the stuff I bought at the cannabis bar and stuff. >> Go ahead and just widen your stance. If you got anything in your pockets it's going to stick me with it. >> I have my work keys and my headphones in that pocket and that's the only pocket I have. That's why I usually keep everything in my bag. >> Okay. So, I'm going to sit you in here. I'm going to put the camera on for you and for my protection. And then I'm going to look into your situation a little bit more and then we'll take it from there. >> Yes, sir. >> Taking them? >> I don't know what you got but you tell me what that is. >> Fire department's got to pick it up for hazmat. >> I guess. >> He got He need a warning for uh for doesn't No, he doesn't, right? >> I don't think so. >> No, I don't think so, either. >> I mean, we could check. I I'm not certain. >> I'll confirm it. >> That's some weed. >> Yeah, that's what you said. >> Okay. >> There's a joint. >> Yes. Do you have a medical marijuana card? >> No. >> Fire department's responsibility duties. This stuff has to be removed. >> Are you taking him? >> Yeah, I mean, it appears I guarantee we're going to find more in there. >> I don't know what the heck that is. >> Going off for a second. >> There's a whole bunch of those, right? >> That was located right here. >> Do you understand your rights as I've explained them to you? >> Yes, sir. >> Having these rights in mind, will you answer my questions now? >> What is your question, sir? >> No, you can stop at any time. I'll ask you. What's in that metal pipe? >> Uh The pipe is a one-hitter that I use to smoke marijuana with. >> So, it's only going to test positive for marijuana? >> Yes, sir. >> Okay. Hey. Uh do they need a warning a prior warning to register as a convicted felon? No, because there's no way we would have that in our notes. He got released out of Illinois and he said he did not a thing in Illinois. Uh and then he's got weed he's got weed on him a pipe um it was Bravo nights was out with him on the 14th at the exact same place at the Simon's in Beach. And he said he wasn't issued a trespass warning just a parking in Beach after hours. I'm like I'm pretty sure I know who's out there you they issued you a trespass warning. Oh, you know what sir I just don't recall. Yeah, so he's got Okay, I just wanted to make sure on the other ones. All right, I'm going >> So, we got pills. Yeah, I don't know what that is. It's too windy here. >> Yeah, I'm not I was saying I don't even know how to test that. >> These here we're going to have to pull up. >> I don't know what those are. I don't think those are I think they're homemade. >> No, he's saying he won't answer what they are. So, he's going to go for 31. I got the jacket. >> Hit the jacket. Finish searching that. I'm going to go grab a bag for all this [ __ ] >> If you open the back of my my top drawer, there's different size bags in there. So, I got another pipe. >> Another pipe in the jacket? >> Yep. >> Okay. >> Wasn't there money somewhere? Yep, I am. >> So, that in. That in. >> So, this pipe was in the jacket. >> Okay. This pipe was in the jacket. >> Yeah, this was in the jacket. This I put the joint inside there. >> Those are microdoses. I don't know what they are. We can toss them in here for now.
