March 4th, 2025, just before midnight, Arkansas State Police Trooper Birds spotted a gray Toyota Avalon drifting across lanes on Interstate 430 with no visible rear plate. The driver's behavior at a gas station stop, constantly shifting and watching the trooper hinted that this would not end with a simple citation. See if we can get a K9 or a drone. And let's set up a perimeter stage coach. There's a church over there. And then see if we can get somebody at Enco or there's a house along that creek. Set up a good perimeter. Again, it's a black male with a white tank top and red pants on. He fled into the woods southwest from my current location. The vehicle was later found abandoned after the driver ran into nearby woods and disappeared despite a coordinated search using K-9 units and aerial support. Investigators identified the suspect through state records and began pursuing warrants. Charges being sought include felony fleeing, creating substantial danger, fleeing on foot, and possession of a controlled substance. In the early hours of March 1st, 2024, a black Ford F-150 with Ontario plates tore down Interstate 75 at over 100 mph. On July 29th, 2025, an Indianapolis officer ran a routine plate check that suddenly connected a vehicle to a carjacking from the day before.
