On May 9th, 2023, Arkansas State Police began tracking a Dodge Charger after the driver refused to stop turning what should have been a routine encounter into a dangerous situation. Instead of pulling over, the driver kept pushing farther north, forcing troopers to prepare for a chase that would only grow more reckless. northbound over here at SH Road. The pursuit ended with the driver pinned against a street sign before officers safely took him into custody. During the arrest, the driver admitted he had something personal weighing on his mind. But that did not spare him from likely charges, including felony fleeing, reckless driving, traffic control violations, and more. Thursday, April 25th, 2024, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper clocked a white Nissan Alultima traveling well over 100 miles hour in a 45 mph zone. Rather than accept a speeding citation, the driver chose to flee and quickly transformed a traffic stop into a major public safety threat. already blackmail driver. We're now eastbound. On May 6th, 2024, deputies were alerted that a vehicle linked to an active pursuit was racing toward Coffee County after reportedly reaching speeds of up to 120 mph. Investigators soon learned the suspects were believed to be riding in a stolen vehicle, giving deputies every reason to expect the situation would only get worse. Stop sticks failed. Investigators determined the vehicle had been stolen the previous night and was carrying a stolen license plate, leaving the group facing likely charges, including motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, felony fleeing, reckless driving, and more. June 17th, 2021, officers in Georgia found themselves chasing something far more alarming than a stolen patrol vehicle. The driver, later identified as Jacob Anthony Palmer of Virginia, had allegedly threatened an officer with a handgun before taking off in the stolen police cruiser, creating an immediate danger for everyone nearby. >> What? On November 23rd, 2019, an Atlanta police officer attempted to stop a black MercedesBenz after recording it at 125 mph on the interstate. He was booked on numerous charges including possession with intent to deliver controlled substances, felony fleeing reckless driving, expired registration, and more. On April 24th, 2024, federal investigators executed a search warrant at the Portland home of a registered sex offender who was under investigation for possessing and sharing illicit images of minors. On August 6th, 2023, Los Angeles Police Department officers encountered a man standing in traffic while pointing a handgun directly at them. After receiving medical treatment, he was booked on attempted murder charges and was also expected to face weapons related offenses, assault on peace officers, and more. December 10th, 2025 marked Deputy Waters very first vehicle pursuit since graduating from the Fet County Sheriff's Office Regional Training Academy just months earlier. Investigators noted the suspect had an extensive criminal history and was expected to face charges including felony fleeing reckless driving multiple traffic violations and any additional offenses uncovered during the investigation. On April 26th, 2025, Arkansas State Police joined a Little Rock Police Department pursuit involving a stolen 1995 Buick Century. The driver, later identified as Michelle Boster, refused repeated opportunities to surrender, extending the pursuit onto Interstate 30. 1038 on 9:30. 30 [ __ ] oper. just one. >> Nice maneuver. She was taken into custody to face those outstanding warrants along with likely charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, felony, fleeing, reckless driving, and more. On June 23rd, 2022, Arkansas State Police responded after a Toyota Corolla was spotted traveling the wrong way on an interstate, instantly creating a life-threatening situation for everyone sharing the roadway. Rather than correcting course, the driver continued against traffic, forcing troopers and innocent motorists to react within seconds. Well, break. Meow. 21. Is there anybody around? I'm back. So, watch him. You clear the car. I'll hold. >> Okay. Car's clear. Car's clear. I got nothing. >> The incident ended after the Corolla crashed while attempting to avoid other vehicles on the interstate. Authorities continued investigating the circumstances behind the dangerous drive with the driver likely facing charges including reckless driving, felony fleeing, driving the wrong way on a divided highway, and more. On August 10th, 2024, Florida Highway Patrol joined Cape Coral Police in pursuing a gay Hyundai Kona after learning the driver was wanted for felony battery and child abuse. Instead of surrendering to officers, the wanted suspect headed onto Interstate 75 and continued fleeing despite emergency lights and sirens closing in behind him. passing 167. Traffic is light. 16. He remained under arrest to answer for the outstanding felony battery and child abuse allegations along with additional charges including high-speed fleeing and eluding reckless driving and more. Thursday, April 18th, 2024, Florida Highway Patrol responded to assist Miami Dade police after a black Dodge Charger linked to multiple armed burglaries was spotted fleeing through the county. Even with officers from multiple agencies converging on the vehicle, the suspects refused to give up and kept the pursuit alive. Please show me. They're right behind me, man. They're right behind you. They're all about to pass me right now. Once again 438 Yeah. Heat. We're watching on the cameras now. They picked the vehicle and the subjects are on footing out. Any unit? Any unit? They're chasing behind the subject or they're still on >> 56. We got two in custody. One fled. The driver fled. 1049 is after. By the time everything was over, all three suspects had been taken into custody after two were captured near the vehicle, and the driver was located following a brief foot pursuit. Investigators continued building their case around the reported armed burglaries, while the suspects also faced charges including felony fleeing, resisting arrest, and more. September 24th, 2025, police in Southern California attempted to stop a semi-truck after discovering its license plate was registered to a different vehicle. Rather than explain the discrepancy, the driver accelerated away with another man still inside the cab, sending officers from several agencies into an unusual pursuit. >> Yeah, they could if they knew where they were going, if the suspect did, if there was any rhyme or reason to this. We're right in the Fullerton area now, turning on to Commonwealth. Uh and uh earlier we did see one undercover the same units uh as Bruce was talking about uh behind it, but there's a lot and they're all Fontana had K9 ready to go. I really believe they know who the suspect is. They got a lot of intel on that individual and Fontana PD is the one who stayed on this the whole time because of that. But really, as you watch these things, I wonder about this. When you see this, you wonder if they know that individual. Well, your your >> how did they out on social >> your video lost our signal? >> Yeah. Well, it's sort of freezing up a little bit, but we can see a lot of a lot of looks uh sort of trying to communicate with the driver, which is And then this sort of T-zone. You you always get nervous for any innocent driver who doesn't realize there is a pursuit taking place and most would not think it's involving this kind of vehicle. you were talking about the fuel, how these these I mean they are long haul the these vehicles are meant for long haul rides and um it they could have been completely full and we don't know exactly what is going on. I do feel I feel for the for the CHP who on the five and on the 91 trying to figure out is this driver going to go back onto the freeway and if they're trying to get ahead of it it's it's it's very complic >> out and try and get their attention and wave at them. Uh so it it's hard to believe that they were just out because of social media and knew he was heading in that direction. Uh so we could see there's some people out on the street there. This could be the same spot we were at before. Boy. Oh, they want to get out or they want to grab something from that vehicle or put something on top. >> They grab something from the very top, I believe. >> Oh. Oh my goodness. We We never see this. That was a SWAT vehicle that just slammed into the semi on the side. Came out of nowhere. We didn't even see that vehicle. We hadn't known it was here. And they came in and just slammed into the side of that semi uh with their armored vehicle. So now you have two vehicles and they're both really heavy. I'm not sure. have never seen it, but maybe they can do a pit maneuver with that armored vehicle. If the semi tries to make a turn at a slow enough rate of speed and they can get behind it and hit the rear, they can get it to spin out. There's no way with the center of gravity on a a semi like this, the tractor portion on the roof of that vehicle that he very specifically reached out, got it, and that's that's when they took their shot is is when they tried to move him over. But but now if Bruce is still around, you know, Bruce, that that gives the person in the cab of that truck an idea as to also >> what the police are thinking uh when they go that aggressively to try to get him to stop. Yeah, Philip, you know, I have actually never seen a ramming with a Bearcat like that before, but I think what they've determined is there is no way to stop this big rig cab without I mean, you can't do a pit maneuver with a regular police car. So, having a bare p. Here we go. Bruce, we're going to interrupt you and go back to Scott. >> Oh, they pinned them in. That's a that's an undercover vehicle. They're out of their cars. Their guns are going to be drawn. They have him pinned somewhat, but with a semi-tractor like that, if he puts it in reverse, he'll just push those vehicles behind him away. But right now, they've got him surrounded. The Bearecat pulled in front just moments ago or at Franklin and Beach Street in the Anaheim area. And at least for now, what we have is a standoff. And we haven't seen the suspects try and drive that vehicle ever since the Bearcat pulled in front. Uh, but you see the under cover vehicles. There's three of them there. There's more Fontana PD. This is a caper. I'm sure they were on way back in Fontana. They know who this individual is. They're not going to let him get away. They're not going to let him make a run for it. I have um you know suspect that this is a hardened criminal. Uh they've been following and they want and they're going to take him into custody. And right now we just have a standoff. But look at all the Fontana Pedi officers and he's getting out. It looks like the door is opening right now. It's a critical moment. >> Scott, you may not be able to see it, but the passenger is also out hands up. >> Right. >> So that person on the other side is out right now. And then now >> they're they're trying to get to the driver. >> Yeah. This is a critical moment right now when the driver gets out. They don't know what they're dealing with. But if this driver makes a sudden move, they have guns drawn on this individual. And right now, it looks like uh he is cooperating with their commands. He's probably going to back up, maybe open his shirt up or pull it up to make sure there's nothing in his waistband. But more than likely, he'll be down on the ground here in a moment. And at this point in time, we don't know what they think about the passenger. If that's a suspect or if that is someone, as we mentioned, may have been held against their will. That will depend on how they treat that individual. But they have to get that person in custody. They have. And now you can see they're moving on to the passenger. And the passenger does not appear to be an individual that was held uh against their power kidnapped and wants to give themselves up. It looks like they're actually not obeying the commands of officers right now. They have their guns drawn on that individual. This is a scary moment. Be careful here, Josh. If they have to open fire, which they had, they look pretty intense right now. And it doesn't look like the passenger is just willingly giving themselves up. >> Yeah. Uh and we but we did see that passenger open the door right away once that tractor was surrounded and pinned. [music] That door opened. Those two hands came up. So they have been right there. So we're not quite sure because we obviously don't have ears on the ground to see if that person is not doing the command. But again, we're obviously they are they [music] are very careful and you can see what a powerful show of force. >> Ran into that. But this is an interesting thing because he's got something in his hand. >> Uh and he's not letting that go. So they can actually, it seems to me, have cleared the cab of a third person. It seems as if that is also something they needed to make sure they did. Uh so now you've got this one person and they're not going to get on the other side because you don't want to put officers in the line of fire. So now here he comes and he's putting whatever that is on the ground. That might be what he picked up off of the roof of that vehicle. I'm not quite sure, but we'll obviously keep looking at that video, but you can see now this person is certainly obey obeying the commands. When you have that many guns drawn at you, I think you're going to do exactly what you're told and uh and not put up a fight. But we saw them they these suspects get very close to law enforcement and then, you know, in a second we're going to see him push right in and put them right on the ground there. Well, what was also very interesting to me when you're those you you try to put yourself in the mind of these two people when that SWAT vehicle pulled around in front and that officer had rifle trained right through that front windshield in the direction at them that pretty much changed everything because if you notice that SWAT right out of the top hatch there was an officer right there and he had his weapon pointed straight through. The chase finally ended in Bua Park where both men surrendered after the truck was boxed in by officers. Investigators later confirmed each suspect had outstanding grand theft auto warrants while the driver was also wanted as an armed and dangerous parole at large, leaving both men facing those warrants along with additional charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, felony fleeing, and more. On March 29th, 2024, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper spotted a silver BMW racing through the Interstate 95 Express lanes while weaving dangerously around other motorists. Instead of stopping when emergency lights came on, the driver continued north into Broward County, putting countless drivers at risk along the way. >> Pull over right now. Pull over right now. BMW, pull over right now. Express. We almost 95. I'll take over taxing Hollywood 94 milesPH in their cliff. 95 4 94 mph on the overass for Hollywood now. We got a plane. We got a We got to play. We got to play. We got to play. Everybody forward. You know what I'm saying? Are you okay? Got it. Are you guys okay? >> Yeah. >> All right. We're doing it over. Move my car. Wait. Move your car. Move your car. This is your car. Move this car. Move your car. Move your car. Move your car. Move your car. Open this thing. hurt right now. >> Your shoulder's hurting. >> Why is it because of the airbags? >> We just thrown to the ground and and what are you expecting your micros? >> I know that you just ask when I'm pulling you out of the car. You're holding yourself. your attention and I was trying to pull you out the car. >> Whether you like it or not going to be here and get checked physically, no peroxide, no band-aids from the ground, no story recorded. The woman was taken into custody after the pursuit came to an end and was transported for medical evaluation before being booked. She was expected to face charges including high-speed fleeing and eluding reckless driving, excessive speeding, and numerous traffic related offenses. That wraps up this pursuit, but it is only one of many unbelievable cases that prove just how unpredictable these incidents can become.
