On March 23rd, 2026, a traffic stop in Gadsden County started because a trooper noticed a pickup truck with window tint that appeared far darker than Florida law allows. The situation changed instantly when driver Rishard Perryman refused repeated requests to exit the vehicle and sped away with passenger Chakila McCray still inside. >> Hey man, can you help me back out of here? Talk to me for a second. Come on, man. Come on. Come talk to me. I'll see you in a little bit. 837, I'm on my way. Yeah, 28 out of 50. Windows are clear. The case grew much larger when authorities recovered roughly 14 lb of methamphetamine from the crash site, leaving Perryman facing allegations tied to drug trafficking, fleeing law enforcement, and multiple traffic violations. Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, law enforcement officers were already searching for Eric Gibson after reports that he had previously escaped an encounter with police. When officers confirmed Gibson had taken control of a Mitsubishi sport utility vehicle and began driving aggressively on Interstate 10, another pursuit quickly followed. >> GET OUT, [ __ ] YOU GET OUT, [ __ ] GET OUT, [ __ ] >> BLACK. >> YOU GET OUT, [ __ ] DON'T MOVE. Authorities reported finding methamphetamine and synthetic cathinone inside the vehicle, adding narcotics allegations to Gibson's fleeing-related offenses and federal probation concerns. March 7th, 2022, deputies responded to a disturbance at the Dunedin Cove Motel after two men reportedly became involved in a fight connected to a drug transaction. Investigators say 27-year-old Kenneth Lundquist Jr. left the scene in the other man's vehicle, triggering a region-wide search for the stolen car. >> Pass Braden. Authorities filed 31 charges against him including carjacking, attempted carjacking, fleeing, and eluding, and numerous counts connected to impaired driving and crash damage. On January 21st, 2026 California investigators were closing in on suspects linked to a multi-day crime spree involving stolen vehicles and a string of armed robberies. Hours after officers located one stolen Corvette, a second armed vehicle theft placed the suspects back in law enforcement's sights. >> 1180 in custody corner. >> 1182 no return but he's still no, he's got the another game but he's still No, he's going to foot bail bail He's going to be trying trying to 215 another vehicle. Investigators later arrested Edward Macias and charged him in connection with several robberies that authorities say were committed during the crime spree spanning multiple jurisdictions. Wednesday, July 9th, 2022, a driver behind the wheel of a white Dodge Charger apparently decided that a traffic stop was not worth sticking around for. The decision became even more questionable because several passengers, including his girlfriend, were riding along for the chaos. >> The white Charger, David Adam 263070 white Dodge Charger. That's 36. He had two passengers. He's got a front right passenger. He's got a left passenger. He just got a white Charger. December 31st, 2023, an Arkansas State Trooper first noticed two vehicles racing along Interstate 430 at speeds approaching 100 miles per hour. The stop took an unexpected turn when the Trooper arrived at an intersection that appeared to be hosting a street takeover complete with blocked traffic and stunt driving. >> LET ME SEE YOUR HANDS. GET ON THE [ __ ] GROUND, NOW. GET OVER HERE. >> D'SHAWN SLAY WAS ARRESTED, transported for medical evaluation, and later booked into the Pulaski County Detention Center. Authorities charged him with felony fleeing, reckless driving, driving without lights at night, speeding, and possession of a controlled substance after suspected marijuana was located inside the vehicle. On November 15th, 2025, officers from multiple agencies were attempting to track a pursuit that was weaving through rural roads across county lines. As updates slowly came in, attention focused on a van driven by a woman later identified as Laken before it could reach a larger highway. >> Show me YOUR [ __ ] HANDS. I BETTER SEE SOME HANDS. Thursday, February 12th, 2026, Seattle Police received a report from an 18-year-old woman who said her ex-boyfriend had been following her and might be carrying a firearm. Officers quickly located 62-year-old Christopher Bowman and attempted to make contact before the encounter suddenly escalated. >> He's had um a couple cases. March 4th, 2023 an Arkansas Trooper stopped a rental Chevrolet Suburban after spotting a lane change made without a turn signal on Interstate 40. What should have been a quick conversation about distracted driving became much more interesting when driver Henry Miller appeared unusually nervous and struggled to explain parts of his trip. >> How you doing today, man? >> I'm all right, are you, sir? >> I'm good. My name is Trooper Blackerby with the Arkansas State Police. >> Yes, sir. >> And the reason why I pulled you over, Mr. Miller, when you changed lanes, brother, what are you supposed to do? >> I used my blinker. >> No, you didn't. She ultimately faced charges including forgery and false identification while investigators also gathered information about others believed to have participated in the scheme. December 15th, 2025, a black Nissan Altima caught the attention of an Arkansas State Trooper after radar showed the vehicle traveling well above the posted speed limit. Rather than pulling over and accepting a citation driver, Alexander Raya allegedly chose a far more complicated evening. >> Hey Charlie 1 10-37. We're at Stampers. >> And Barling just off the bridge. >> GET OUT OF THE CAR! [screaming] GET OUT OF THE >> 959 EXTRA SAME AUTO, 959 extra same auto, black Nissan Altima, Hispanic male. Authorities charged him with felony driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to chemical testing, reckless driving, criminal mischief, and several additional traffic-related offenses after a bottle of tequila was reportedly recovered from the vehicle. On August 8th, 2024, a nationwide manhunt connected to crimes dating back more than three decades reached the streets of Los Angeles. Investigators had been searching for 71-year-old Steven Paul Gale after DNA evidence allegedly linked him to violent offenses committed in Massachusetts in 1989. >> Uh at Manchester Boulevard, he's going through Manchester and continuing south here. So, they're going to continue right along with him, going much slower now as he makes his way into an more of an industrial area here near the airport. >> Yeah, which is also um you know, probably a more pedestrians involved, [music] but we've never really seen a pursuit that goes this slowly if you know, it's pretty interesting. >> very cautious and making sure they're minding the rules of the road except for the one key thing that they're not pulling over. But again, we believe this suspect is wanted for a series of crimes including uh a sexual assault. So, of course uh law enforcement want to get him into custody. And this might be that time, Chris, where they start to sort of get an idea of where this person is going to go so they could possibly put a spike strip down or do you some other means to get [music] this driver to pull over. >> Yeah, the the options are going to open up here especially as he's in a more uh kind of emptier street. Uh if they do give the go ahead for a PIT maneuver, that could be an option. Um right now, they're kind of cruising. Let me look at how he actually your point, he's stopping at the stop sign, stopping at red lights, really obeying um most of the traffic laws here. Just a failure to yield as far as we've been able to see, but obviously as I mentioned, a lot more to this story. Uh unclear whether they uh you know, whether he caught their attention while committing another crime or if maybe they just ran the plates and it came back with a warrant again, supposedly out of Boston. So, they're continuing here south bound on >> And then they see that he [music] has, you know, wanted um from other jurisdictions. So, it is obviously um concerning because police never know who they're going to encounter when the person actually does pull over. But right now, they are stopped and it's very interesting to see what is going to This is that cat and mouse game that uh these pursuit suspects have with law enforcement. >> That's exactly right. And to your point, Colleen, we now have word that they are operating under the suspicion that that suspect is possibly armed inside of the vehicle. And that obviously does change the calculus quite a bit going forward in this pursuit here. So, information is starting to trickle in here. Possibly armed suspect behind the wheel of this vehicle, a sexual assault suspect. We believe that they are behind here on La Cienega Boulevard at 104th Street in Westchester. Getting closer to LAX as he continues down La Cienega. Unfortunately, we on the for the time being are stuck on the north side of LAX as we try and navigate airspace here. We're talking to air traffic control trying to see if we can get across the runway to meet up with the suspect. Had eyes on this pursuit. Has been relatively composed. Not exceptionally high speeds by any means. Even on the freeway, guys, he was only doing at a peak of 60 mph at the fastest they've clocked him. And on these surface streets, he's actually going, I think, below the speed limit. >> Yeah, yeah. I don't think he's gone past the speed limit once. >> Spike strip ready. Spike strip ready. He got He went around the spike strip and ventured into oncoming lanes of traffic to get around that spike. >> And then it it looks like they're >> told that there was a spike strip there. They were anticipating it. There's another unit who's waiting for him. Now they have some opportunity here to set up for these spike attempts ahead of the suspect. They're going to try again here. We'll see what happens, but it looks like the road has opened up here for him. It's an empty Isis Avenue as he continues westbound through Inglewood. >> And we'll see if this escalates his uh driving. I'm going to >> Yeah, that's the problem. Like we talked about, you know, once you start to Uh, you know, once law enforcement shows signs Now he's pulling into a gas station. Look at this. >> Yes. Pulling into a gas station, doing the loop-de-loop. Obviously, was never going to have a chance to get [music] gas, but is he using this to make the U-turn, or is he starting to run low on gas? What is the What What is the mental situation behind the wheel here? That's what you're wondering now, because with that spike attempt, you could already see things are getting a little bit more aggressive, a little hairier for law enforcement here. You see them kind of uh just kind of all making that U-turn with him, and then continuing in the original direction he was going in. So, it's really a game of cat and mouse. You get the impression he's not really rush hour northbound side of the 405 Freeway approaching Santa Monica. >> Yeah, Chris, and just to clarify, these Harbor Division Patrol officers were trying to enforce that out-of-state warrant. Now, as you're saying, there are several warrants, and he was a serial rapist. Uh is that is what we're being told. Uh and so, they were trying to enforce that out-of-state warrant, and that is when the pursuit started. And I was also going to point out what you just said, that this pursuit is different, because some [music] of the pursuits we've seen recently, uh authorities have really backed off. We haven't seen uh these many patrol vehicles uh tailing the the suspect vehicle, but in this case, we've seen five patrol cars, and as you mentioned, they are staying very close uh to this vehicle. >> Yeah, they've got six or seven that have been following him all the way through here, and I think he's coming up on uh the Century City area here as he makes his way. He looks like he is on the phone. He does have He has his right hand up to his right ear. There's the spike strip attempt. He went right around the spike, and instead of turning onto Santa Monica, he just continued up Cotner Avenue here, now paralleling the 405 Freeway. So, he's going to have another opportunity to get back on the freeway, but in that uh in that they they had a great opportunity. They tried to spike him there. It didn't work. Uh and now, unfortunately, he's back on the free coming to a stop potentially at one of these red lights. He has stopped for almost every single red light. In this case, he's made a left turn off of Wilshire Boulevard, and he is now on one of those surface streets right behind the condominiums on Wilshire. He's now going again the opposite way on a surface street. He's going now westbound. He's He's going westbound >> towards UCLA. >> on Shelby approaching Malcolm Avenue here. And if they see an opportunity, I think we might see another another pit attempt. We'll see. >> Now, but yielding to to traffic, uh you know, we saw that white car kind of turn uh around the corner there, and uh the the driver there was at least cautious enough and considered enough not to be blowing through stop signs and kind of creating more havoc on the roads this afternoon. Also, we have no way of knowing this, but um at this point driving around for um an hour plus, how how much gas is left, you know, we we certainly don't know, but as it appears based off what we've seen for the past hour, this person just kind of aimlessly driving around and making turn-by-turn decisions as they try to figure out what's next. Uh maybe we will see at some point they um run out of uh fuel that that is helping to keep them going on this pursuit, but we have no way of knowing that. Also too, Chris, wanted to ask, we have no way of knowing right if possibly they're on the phone with uh law enforcement. >> Another spike attempt here. Here comes LAPD officer running up to the vehicle trying to spike the vehicle, and that might have been successful. That might have hit that front left tire, guys. That could very well uh be the beginning of the end. That looked like a really solid hit here. And as he makes his way through Westwood, you're starting to see a lot more pedestrian traffic here. We're just south of UCLA. They have executed a possible successful spike on the front left tire of that vehicle. He is now speeding up. He is much more agitated and he is in the worst possible spot to drive any more recklessly. Uh he has been, you know, so so composed over the course of this pursuit. I just uh I can't think of a worse spot to uh to amp things up here. And unfortunately, we are seeing him uh start to speed up a little bit here. He's coming to another red light, going through the red, and he's continuing northbound on West Westlake Boulevard towards UCLA. He's running on a flat tire. Maybe they will give another attempt at the right tire. But right now, he's stuck in hospital traffic in the middle of this medical plaza in the heart of UCLA. Here come more officers running towards the exit of that turnaround. And uh there's the spike strip. There's the spike strip. We'll see he's going to They're going to pull it back. They're going to pull it back. He may He may may or may not already see it. Uh but they're going to try and sneak up on him and try this one more time. This would be, I think, the third spike attempt. We know we've got one successful. Uh and if with any luck, maybe they can aim for that uh that right side. >> Right. But such a recipe for danger. I I mean, with all of these people in their cars at any time, he can get out. We've heard reports that he might be armed. He is a serial rapist, you know, a suspected serial rapist. This man is uh obviously trying to avoid and flee from police. We don't know what he's capable of. >> Look at him. He's trying to evade it. He's trying to evade it. Maybe an attempt at the rear there. He was able to get around that. So, they threw the spike strip down. It fell just short of the vehicle. And now, instead of coming out, I think he's going to end up going around again. We may make our way around this turnabout again. Let's see. Just widen out just a just a smidge here. We want to see those officers. They've got their guns out, trained on the on the suspect. Is he showing Is he showing hands? >> He was injured. >> at least his left hand. >> At least his yeah. >> He's showing hands, I think at least his left hand. He is attempting to exit the vehicle with his arms and hands now clearly visible. The suspect deciding time is up after an hour plus pursuit. He has opened the door and is now exiting the vehicle, albeit very slowly, following the commands of those LAPD officers. >> like he is injured. >> Moving a little slow here. He's having a little trouble balancing or walking. >> Looks like he can't. >> Don't know if he's uh you know Don't know if he's uh if he's uh >> He has some physical challenges. >> injured in any way or if he's maybe a little Who knows? Maybe an intoxicated in some way. We don't know. >> These are all Even though this is kind of the end to the pursuit and we see him out of the vehicle now. When when we're watching these things, these seemed always be the the most tense moments where anything could kind of happen or go go wrong. So, it's it's great that he's finally come to a [music] stop and is out of the vehicle and the officers seem to be in control, but these moments always give me the kind [music] of the most anxiety. >> Because you're exactly right, Michelle. Th- This is one of the most dangerous Aside from all of the other, you know, inherent dangers of a pursuit, it's the end, the unpredictability of what his next move is going to be. Now, all indications are here, he does not appear to pose a threat, but looks could be deceiving and they can't make any assumptions. And in an area where there is so much other you know, activity activity here, uh they have cleared the area and they now basically they appear to to me they've been able to get other people out of the way. There were a lot of pedestrians on that curb a short time ago and now everybody has backed away. They're going to clear the vehicle even though he's having trouble. This is very unusual. Never seen this where they clear the vehicle and he is still out of the vehicle walking towards those officers, but he is not well and they're going to approach him uh nice and gently here and place him under arrest. Likely place him in an ambulance in short order, but it does look like he uh does not have all of his faculties, but thankfully he is now in police custody. Ding dong, this has come to a peaceful end. >> Gail eventually surrendered after leading officers through Los Angeles for more than an hour. Authorities said he faced charges including kidnapping, armed robbery, and offenses connected to the assaults that investigators believe occurred during the original 1989 case. Wednesday, November 30th, 2022, an Arkansas trooper attempted to stop a speeding vehicle carrying multiple family members as passengers. Instead of slowing down, the young driver allegedly kept pushing harder despite having relatives along for the ride. >> Make sure we have a lower 10-24. I have a 10-24. >> [groaning] >> I have a 10-24. I have a 10-24. >> Put your hands over here. Get over here. What are you doing? Why are you driving like that? Who else is in the car? Lean over the hood. Why Why would you do that? Lean over the hood. That was ridiculous. What were you thinking? You got anything on you? Yes, I will. I'm concerned about him. Clearly you were not. I mean what were you doing? You okay? All right, come over here. I already got medical on the way. You can sit right here. Who else is in the car? >> My little cousin. >> Your cousin? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Pull everybody out of the car and come come here. We're going to have medical check y'all out, okay? >> Can I look for my phone, too? >> You're on 10-4 10-19. >> 561 is still up there in Jackson. >> He's still showing we can >> 176 5 10 35 >> It started 10:11 as well. I saw the car flip and I was on my way home. >> Okay. >> So, I just thought I'd make sure everyone was okay. >> Thank you so much. >> Yeah, no problem. I appreciate it. Yeah, no problem. >> I need to find his phone. >> Okay. Let's do that. Let's walk over there. >> Okay. >> Stay over there. You come over here. We're going to check y'all out first, okay? What What was going on in the car? What was >> Nothing. Nothing. We were just chilling. >> On the way home. >> Okay. And then he just >> Well, I didn't even know you were behind us. >> I'm not talking about me being behind you. I'm talking about why he was driving. >> I don't know. >> He didn't say anything? >> No. That's his That's his sister and I'm his cousin, so we just family just riding on the way home. >> Okay. And y'all didn't tell him to slow down or anything? >> We didn't We didn't know you was behind you. >> I'm not talking about me being behind you. He's driving like an idiot, okay? He's He's in the opposing lane of traffic driving 80, almost 100 mile an hour, okay? I know that. I don't have to be behind you to know that, okay? So, it's time to start fessing up to what was going on in the car. >> Nothing was going on. >> Okay? Cuz if you're just riding like that and not saying anything, then y'all are crazy. Because if I'm the passenger in this, I'm saying something. >> This car >> You see, you've already rolled over. Now, he's in the He's in the backseat. These are just passengers. But You can pretty much tell he was going too fast and come off the road and rolled over. So, y'all just hang tight from my car until medical gets here. Take your hands out. Huh? >> Medical personnel evaluated the occupants after the crash, including the driver's family members who were riding inside the vehicle. The driver was taken into custody and faced allegations connected to the fleeing law enforcement, reckless driving, and drug-related evidence discussed during the investigation. September 22nd, 2025. Ohio police were called to a domestic dispute involving an ex-boyfriend, his current girlfriend's vehicle, and a set of missing keys that suddenly became the center of attention. What sounded like a simple property disagreement quickly turned into something much more personal once officers began sorting through conflicting stories. >> So, actually Okay. She's left. Female, white female. >> So, she has both. Okay. Okay. So, if she gives the keys back, do you still want to like >> If she give both of them keys back and my phone, >> Okay. >> my phone and both of them keys back. I won't press charges. My daughter in there, I'd rather her to take care of my daughter for the day and stay free. What What if she don't give my stuff back? She got to >> What's the uh the uh custody Is there like an agreement or anything in place? >> No, I was both We was in both >> Cope, okay. Okay. So, is there more than just your daughter in there? >> two sons, so that's two right there. >> Okay. So, all three kids are yours? >> No, two. >> Two and then the daughter? >> No, two. Uh a daughter and a son and then she got a older son that's not mine. >> I got it. Okay. Okay. Sorry. Trying to get it So, you you know what you're doing here. Why don't you just give him the keys and we can be out of here. And I would like to see your injuries as well. So, what >> No deal. I don't I'm not >> So, here's the thing. >> know you've been to jail enough. >> I understand that. So, what do you What happened? What happened when he was over here? I would like >> We He We got into it a little bit. >> Okay. >> It wasn't really physical, you know what I'm saying? And something happened to my foot. And so I scratched it. Like with my nails. >> Okay. What happened to your foot? >> It doesn't matter. >> It It does because >> matter because And this is him calling y'all. Like I don't want to do this. >> I >> I'm just trying to be respectful to you because you're showing me the same courtesy. So, I'm just But I don't want to talk about that. >> What >> Cuz I don't want him to get in trouble. >> Trust me. If you both have injuries, I can document that. Like Like I'm saying, he's not going to get in trouble. If your foot's cut >> The girl If the girl who's car cuz I know he got her and she presses charges or something because I don't want none of this documented or anything. I mean, if she do, fine. But I'm That's I'm not >> I'm trying to >> I'm not trying to get him in trouble. >> I'm trying to avoid all of that. >> Right. >> I Would you come to the back window here and talk to me or something or >> I don't have the keys out there. I threw them out there. Now, I'm not going to lie to you. They could be anywhere in this field. As mad as I was, they could be over there behind on the other side of the apartments where them trees is at. But I threw them cuz I don't have no need for it. I know he was going to be lurking to see if I got in the car. So, I'm not You know, I don't have no need for the keys. >> her charged with grand theft or whatever. I want her charged. >> All right. Um That's why I'm glad you're here. I'm going to go tell the reporting officer. Amber, don't go anywhere cuz we Well, okay. I know. >> Yeah, you do. And you should go to jail. >> Okay. And you should, >> too. But, I'm not about TO TELL THEM YOU DID. >> [ __ ] you. >> YOU YOU A LIAR. >> ASHLEY, let's go. Ma'am, >> Now, with the baby, they call your kid. >> Are you kidding me? Hey. Take a deep breath. Come on. You can do it. >> I can't. >> Hey. What happened? Hey. >> I took my baby to our WIC appointment this morning, and he was posted. He was supposed to tell me he was going to pick us up. >> Mhm. >> We together. That's one of his hoes. He drive her car. I don't care. You know what I'm saying? We've been together 12 years. It is what it is. So, he was coming to pick us up. And um so, I got in the car, but he got mad because he thought that I was coming from somewhere else. >> Mhm. >> But, I was coming from the WIC office. So, he pulled off all crazy, and another officer stopped him. Stopped him this morning. So, I ended up talking to the other officer, like, that's my bad. I kind of pissed him off. Like, it's not that big of a deal. I just wanted to take us home. >> Mhm. >> So, he let us go. So, when we get to the house, still kind of bickering, not physical, um but, he ran over my foot. Like, so, I'm mad. Like, bro. So, he was like, you want to go to the hospital? I'm like, no, I just want to go home. It's not broken, but it's swollen. Like, it hurts really bad. >> Mhm. >> So, I'm like, no, I just want to go home. So, we get here, still kind of bickering, going back and forth. Um we end up squashing it, and I the neighbor be letting us watch. We couldn't say nothing to each other. But, I threw the keys out there. Like, I'm not going to fake to you about that. I tossed them So, they could be anywhere. Maybe somebody else picked them up. I don't know. But, I threw them because I had no need for them. I knew he was around here lurking. >> The The scratches on his arm. >> Mhm. >> How How did that all transpire? >> That's when I grabbed his I grabbed his arm. >> Okay. >> I grabbed him, and then like my nails just kind of went like that. But, I didn't do it on purpose. just was grabbing his arm. And I scratched him. I'm not trying to press charges against him. I see he trying to press charges against me. Fine, whatever. >> Mhm. >> But like I don't want this to be a whole big thing. >> And to where do you think this other key fob is? >> Uh ask him. >> This isn't one of them, is it? >> This black thing? >> You have some Nike ones there? >> Okay. >> Okay, so this is good. This is your key. I don't know where the other one is though. >> So what did you say you threw? I just want >> That's why I looked and made sure it was We're not going to go down there and talk to them, right? >> What are you GUYS DOING? MARK! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? >> DUDE. >> GO. And I'm going to have him charge you. >> Nope. >> Stop. >> doing this. >> I'm going in the house like you asked. >> we're done. >> Please stop my baby. >> I understand. >> Okay, I won't do nothing. Please, officer, please. >> Stop. >> Get Dior. Come get the baby. STOP. GO. GET DIOR. STOP. >> NO, DON'T GET >> DIOR, LET THEM GO. LET them get the baby. >> LET ME GET THE BABY. >> JESUS CHRIST. >> Get the baby. Go get the baby. >> I'm tired of this. You guys can't act like adults. >> And the boys, you got to go get the boys. >> Just please back up. Let's go. >> Can I put on some shoes? >> No. Let's go. >> Okay, get the baby.
