In the quiet early hours of August 10th, 2023, deputies in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, began following a stolen Nissan Pathfinder connected to a burglary crew from Alexandria. What they didn't know was that the young men inside were armed, wearing body armor, and ready to risk everything to avoid capture. >> They're turning [music] north on LA. You got fire. Laura, police now have this man in custody, 32-year-old Prince Michael Ajetta Moi. Now, this all started earlier this evening when police say the suspect shot three victims. Conway Assistant Police Chief Chris Harris says those shootings happened on Donnagy Avenue by the Greek houses at UCA. A second scene was at Highway 64 in Salem Drive and the third shooting happened at Newcastle Drive. Harris tells me the suspect was not related to the victims, but that it could be a domestic situation. Harris also says Arkansas State Police chased the suspect from mile marker 140 to mile marker 126. At that point, the suspect either crashed or got out of the car and fled on foot, where he was later arrested. Paris says after getting out of the car, the suspect shot at Arkansas State Police, but no one is injured. As we mentioned, one victim is dead or two victims are dead and the other was airlifted uh to a hospital in Little Rock and is still alive. Last we talked to >> During the chase, the suspect fired at troopers before fleeing into nearby woods. Officers found him minutes later suffering from a self-inflicted wound.
