The driver decided not to cooperate turning a minor violation into a multi-unit response. >> [screaming] >> Going through here on East >> Uh West 28th in the Texas >> TV out. TV out. Talking. >> After receiving medical attention and being booked, McDonald faced charges including driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, and felony fleeing. The case later resulted in a prison sentence followed by probation and restitution. In the middle of a daytime traffic stop, deputies in Turner County spotted another vehicle flying past at over 100 mph. That single moment shifted their focus instantly. >> Vehicle. Vehicle. >> All right, County Ace. Running through the stop sign and continuing to run. This white we're turning north to Fullwood Road. Just turned into the shopping center. Turned into the Target parking lot and is now heading down the street. And I think he's going 45. Just drove straight over from 125. >> Vehicle. >> I think he's heading down the street. >> All right. Charges followed including drug possession, fleeing and eluding, and multiple traffic violations tied to the high-speed attempt to escape. On July 4th, 2024, around 1:00 in the morning, Deputy D.L. So, that's the thing. >> Do you have a driver's license? >> I do. >> Is it valid? >> I don't think it's valid right now, sir. >> Okay, do you know why? >> Cuz I got it suspended the last time I got arrested. >> For what? What was that for? >> I had um drugs in my car when I was 17 distributing at the time and I admitted to a body camera with a K9. And yeah, I got held as a juvenile, got charged as a juvenile for it. >> How old are you now? >> I'm 18 years old. So, I know. They're going to find out more about my family, too. So, yeah. >> All right. Just let me know if you have any other questions for you. >> It's a little hot in here. I know. >> We'll put We'll turn on the air for you. >> Yeah. Just that you >> Huh? 18. >> Are you still in school, guys? >> I'm in thought to go to college. >> Thought to go to college? >> Mhm. >> Which one? >> Texas A&M Forest Tech. Yeah, you're about to find out a little bit more about my family soon. Not in a bad way. My family's pretty known in this business. >> All right. You looked up your family on there? >> You looked up my last name yet or no? >> I mean, we're trying to figure out if you know anybody from everywhere. >> No, Lee County. >> Yeah. >> If you look up my last name, you'll probably see some of my family on there. Not dirty related. >> In a good way or a bad way? Okay. Anybody immediately that we need >> Well, I have like my phone to see what numbers I can contact. >> them with us. >> Okay. >> DeKaiser was later processed and transported for medical clearance before booking. Charges include fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, and felony drug possession. On July 2nd, 2024, Los Angeles officers began tracking a reportedly stolen vehicle weaving through traffic near LaBrea and West Adams. The driver's unpredictable behavior quickly became the central concern. >> You can see that unit getting really close there. That's an LAPD Southwest Division officer getting really close as the suspect now comes to a stop. LAPD, apparently these officers have been approved for a PIT, so they've been given the go-ahead to perform a PIT maneuver. So, that may be what that officer's trying to do, although at these extremely slow speeds, that may not be possible until the until the driver gets out in the open a little bit more. Now, we've exited the freeway. This is one of the options I was talking about here that you can take from that interchange. And now we're southbound on Hoover in the University Park area. If we continue down this stretch, we'll end up in the USC area. And there you there there you go. That's the dangers of being on surface streets as compared to freeways. You have pedestrians possibly in the way. And now we're picking up speed a little bit using that center median again and swerving around other traffic as those LAPD Oh, now we're going the wrong way. They almost hit a box truck. You can see that LAPD unit keeping close behind. All the LAPD units keeping close behind as now we make a left turn eastbound on West Adams Boulevard. Now picking up a little bit of speed, still using that center lane, and those LAPD units from the Southwest Division still the heli PD units are doing a good job keeping up with this. I'm honestly quite impressed because usually when you see wrong way driving such as this as we pull into what might be a dead end. Uh we'll move around the bridges here and see what's on the other end of that road. But uh normally when uh drivers go the wrong way, LAPD uh doesn't really uh keep as as close of a distance to the vehicle as you normally would. And now we're doing U-turn, it looks like. That was a possible spike attempt by that officer that came up really close, and that officer was able to dodge out of the way. I'm not sure if that was a successful strike. Spike. And somebody just possibly climbed out the window or threw something out the window. Uh and now the driver's speeding away down West Washington Boulevard. That was definitely an interesting turn of events. This driver and the passengers seemingly uh really desperate to get away right now. If they're from that area or if the driver or other passengers are from this area, more south of downtown. Um but it in the past few minutes or so, uh with the lack of officers behind uh this vehicle, and they're driving and this This I think is what And we have three people, four or five people? I think I saw five people jump out of this vehicle and now they're running down the sidewalk. And they look like they're running into this property here, into the backyard. One, two, three, four at least four. I think I saw five. Continuing into the back alley here. And LAPD, the air unit, they're reporting that information down to units on the ground. So, you'll start to see LAPD Yeah. Yeah. Uh it it it does appear that there's kind of nowhere out from there. The the the fence line looks a little too high to jump. Uh and these these suspects now using the trash can, hopping over that, looking over there. Uh seeing what's on the other side there. Looks to be another alleyway. Uh and they're going to continue down that alleyway, but I'm trying to look out to see if uh LAPD has units. I can see the air unit orbiting the scene. They have eyes on the suspects and where they're going, and I can see they're uh continuing to run down this alleyway onto this uh cross street here, but I believe that's going to be Griffith Avenue. You have uh two of them already crossing the street. Another one uh crossing the street now, and another one in tow after that. >> lose one of them? I think maybe possibly if there was five the fifth one went in a different direction. >> Yeah, that's that's definitely possible at this point. We're trying to keep eyes on the driver, which we believe >> People just People just stay in your house and don't come out and >> No kidding. >> try to you know, confront when people are trying to get away, you just >> Yeah. >> Oh, dear. >> Yeah, you have you have other other residents here maybe having a confrontation with one of the suspects. Uh I'm not sure if these two >> They look young. They were part of it. They were part of it, yeah. But >> So, these two were part of it also on the run. I'm trying to keep one ear to the uh LAPD radio frequency to see. Uh I don't believe that >> No, that that last person is not No, >> That person is >> is just trying to keep their eyes on it. And And you know, sometimes it's best to stay out of it. Unless unless you >> And now they're going into this other uh yard. >> Who are those persons? Two of them, and who's this woman? We definitely lost one, Ellen. I feel like there was five, but we definitely saw four. And now this woman is not having it. >> Yeah, no. These the the residents >> point maybe she's going to turn around and say, "You know what? I don't I want to Or she knows them. The one thing is you she might know them. Yeah, trying to talk to them like stop this. They do look young. >> Flatten it out a little bit. >> Yeah, they >> They do look young. >> Well, the way they were jumping over fences and and running along, they definitely are young. That um >> Yeah. >> So, but she's got >> but >> she's guiding them back into >> to wonder, yeah. You have You have to wonder if these if if if these residents residents know who these kids are and we're kind of telling them to go back home. >> out of the um apartment units and asking people to whoever's inside to come out. We don't know if those those uh suspects are barricading themselves inside or if they live there. We just don't know, but that one woman who [music] seemed to be um unafraid of them uh followed them. So, >> There you see the officer telling this the one that just pulled up telling the other officer kind of pointing in the direction of where they went in. >> and how they might kind of gain access or what to do cuz this is this would be very stressful for any sort of law enforcement because you can't really see what's behind that door and you don't know how many people are there inside this unit. Yeah. If someone's trying to protect them >> This is East 20th Street near Griffith Avenue. >> The situation ended with multiple suspects abandoning the vehicle and fleeing on foot before being located. Charges are expected to include vehicle theft, evading police, and reckless driving. On February 1st, 2026, Trooper Carter Emerson noticed a gray Chevrolet Impala behaving unusually along Highway 278 near Hope. What followed was anything but routine. >> Show me your [ __ ] HANDS. GET UP. GET UP, [ __ ] GET ON THE GROUND. ROLL OVER. ROLL OVER NOW. >> [screaming] >> ROLL OVER NOW. HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK NOW. PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND your back. You're going to get it again. HANDS BEHIND YOUR BACK. Hands behind your back. You got a taser on you? >> Yeah, I got him. >> You got a lethal on you? >> What? >> Oh, damn. >> Hey, you. Hey, you. >> Hey, you. >> Hey, you. Hey, you. Damn it. >> Hey, you. Come on, don't cut me off. Hey, you. >> Hey, you. >> Hey, you. They locked me up. Hey, you. Hey, you. I don't care. Shut up, dude. Hey, you. 30 feet. What's that right there? >> Ricky Golston was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit and transported to the Hempstead County Detention Center. He faces charges including driving while intoxicated, felony fleeing in a vehicle, and refusal to submit to a chemical test. September 12th, 2023 saw Minnesota State Patrol attempting to stop a red Chevrolet Impala traveling along Highway 36. The driver, Anne Katherine DeBruzi, chose not to comply. >> Got it. Speed 60. Looks to be female in a motor vehicle at the Dollar Store. >> 10-4. 473 other squads, I'm going to try to get ahead of it. >> 10-4. 504, you want to get on the side of it? >> Copy. Looks like we have one female driver, from what I can tell. >> So, a female driver at Thrilled Her. >> Metro pit into the ditch. >> Metro into the ditch, right ditch. >> Looks like we got one female driver, what I can tell. Solo female driver, throwing it. >> Approaching Kicks. >> Metro pit into the ditch. >> Metro into the ditch, right ditch. >> Still moving. >> Still moving. >> Still moving. >> Try to drive out of the ditch. >> First notice he's getting out. I think he's going to stop. >> Metro out of the ditch, continuing eastbound 36 west of Kicks. Washoe, if you have anybody set them up with sticks, I guess. >> Washoe 1312, all of sticks and still water. >> Metro. >> Metro. >> Negative, regard the cover in my vehicle, 12. >> I'm going to forward [music] to you, 12. >> 12. >> Forward to you, vehicle slowing westbound at Gamma. >> Vehicle into the ditch, attempting to get back on the road. She received probation and a reduced fine after pleading guilty to obstructing legal process with other charges dismissed. On the night of July 25th, 2025, a broken tail light on a black moped caught the attention of Corporal Daryl Hinton in Pine Bluff.
