On February 17th, 2024 in White County, Arkansas, troopers clocked a brown GMC pickup barreling down US 67 at nearly 100 mph. The driver ignored lights and sirens weaving through traffic as officers closed in. What began as a high-speed pursuit soon revealed a scene that left troopers conflicted about what they had just witnessed. Unsuccessful. We're going to try again. He's going on the curve on Race Street. TVI TVI TVI Hands! Newport, he's back on the road. Back on the road. Going to try again. He's bound on Race. TVI TVI TVI TVI Stop! STOP! STOP! STOP! BEAT 20 Newport, go ahead and get a 10-16. Hey, I'll get an ambulance coming, but go ahead and step out. What's going on? Okay, get out of the vehicle right now. Okay. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Get out of the vehicle, sir. Get out of the vehicle. I've got an ambulance coming. I've got an ambulance coming. I've got an ambulance coming. You know how many people you put in danger when you could have called an ambulance? Step out, sir. Step out, sir. When the truck finally stopped, the driver, identified as Steve Harmon, claimed he was rushing his elderly mother to the hospital. Troopers found her lying in the front seat, uninjured, but shaken. However, the smell of alcohol told another story. Harmon was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless and prohibited driving, possession of an open container, resisting arrest, and more. It raises a hard question for anyone watching. Is it ever right to break the law when it's for someone you love? What would you have done in that moment? Share your thoughts below. It was February 13th, 2024 when a Florida Highway Patrol trooper spotted a reckless motorcyclist weaving through midday traffic in Pinellas County. The biker accelerated, darting between vehicles, ignoring every signal to stop. Within moments, what seemed like a fast escape turned into a chaotic street pursuit that would end in disaster. The rider's high-speed run came to a tragic halt at a busy intersection when he collided with another vehicle. The crash left the scene in disarray, and it's unclear if the motorcyclist survived. One thing's certain, a few seconds of poor judgment can change countless lives, including those of innocent drivers who just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Late on the night of May the 2nd, 2024, Florida Highway Patrol troopers found themselves in a dangerous pursuit through darkened city streets. What started as a routine attempt to pull over a speeding driver quickly escalated into a tense high-speed chase that pushed both troopers and civilians to their limits. The pursuit came to a crashing end when the suspect lost control of the vehicle. Troopers immediately engaged in a foot pursuit, ultimately taking the driver into custody without further incident. The individual now faces multiple charges for eluding law enforcement and reckless driving. Another stark reminder, every chase starts with a choice, and it rarely ends the way a suspect imagines. On October 22nd, 2023 in Euclid, Ohio, a police officer identified a stolen vehicle at a gas station and attempted a traffic stop. What followed was a split-second decision that would escalate into chaos as the suspect suddenly accelerated, dragging an officer down the pavement before tearing out of the lot. Turn off the car. Do it now. Turn off the car. Turn off the car. DO IT NOW. PUT IT IN PARK. PUT THE CAR IN PARK. STOP. STOP THE CAR. STOP THE CAR. STOP THE CAR. STOP THE CAR. >> [screaming] [screaming] >> THE CHASE STRETCHED through city streets with the stolen vehicle swerving into oncoming lanes and colliding with a patrol car head-on. Officers moved in fast, taking the driver and passengers into custody. Investigators later discovered a firearm inside the vehicle, leading to multiple felony charges, including assault and weapons possession. A risky game that left both officers and bystanders shaken. On November 5th, 2022 in Chamblee, Georgia, police officers spotted a stolen Dodge Ram truck refueling at a gas station. The driver, realizing he was cornered, made a desperate attempt to flee. But what he didn't know was that multiple police units had already set up a trap. >> In a precise move, patrol cars boxed the truck in from every side, forcing the driver to surrender. Inside the vehicle, officers discovered a firearm leading to charges of possession during a felony, fleeing and eluding, reckless driving, and more. The suspect was taken to DeKalb County Jail, another example of how quickly a bad decision can close in on you. On February 15th, 2024, a reckless driver in a pickup truck tried to outrun officers, but quickly found himself outmatched. After several minutes of chaos, a tactical maneuver spun his vehicle out of control, sending it sliding to a stop. What came next defied expectations. The driver suddenly leapt from his moving truck, only to face-plant on the concrete seconds later. Troopers moved in to detain him without resistance. After all that reckless energy, the arrest might have been the calmest moment of the officer's entire shift, maybe even his career. In Canadian County, Oklahoma, a speeding vehicle on Interstate 40 turned a simple traffic stop into a high-speed pursuit. The driver, later identified as Andrew Sawyers of Florida, refused to pull over after being spotted with open beer bottles in the passenger seat. When confronted, he reached for a handgun before taking off at over 100 mph. All right, I'll tell you what. Everything's good on here. I'm just going to write you a warning for the speeding, okay? I'm going to have you go ahead and come on back and have a seat with me. As soon as we're done, you'll be free to go. Sir, go ahead and have a seat for me right back on the passenger side, please. Hey, sir. What did What did you put in your pocket before we When you were getting out? Not that pocket, in here. You don't have any weapons or anything on you, do you? No, sir. No guns, knives? The chase ended near the Samaran Road exit when the suspect crashed into trees. Officers recovered multiple firearms from the vehicle, including two rifles. Sawyers was transported to the hospital and later charged with eluding police and multiple weapon offenses. A reckless flight that nearly cost him everything. On March 15th, 2025, Clayton County deputies responded to reports of a street takeover in Georgia. Among the roaring engines and burning tires was a black Genesis driven by 19-year-old Jamie Alamellio. When officers moved in, Alamellio tried to flee in his mother's car, igniting a dangerous pursuit through crowded streets. And they're coming out towards you. Give me the Hey, unsuccessful coming up to Old Grand Road. Hey, unsuccessful coming up to Old Grand Road. Let me see your hands. Get out the car. Get out the car. Get on the ground. Get up! After being stopped by the Black Hawk unit, Alamellio confessed he panicked once he realized police were after him. He was charged with felony fleeing, reckless driving, hit-and-run, and participating in a street takeover on top of an active warrant for stunt driving. His excuse, he claimed he just kept running. But that night, his freedom ran out first. On December 16th, 2023, Trooper Tyler Nelson of the Arkansas State Police attempted to stop a Chrysler 200 for an improper lane change on Interstate 40. Instead of pulling over, the driver sped off, throwing small bags from the window as multiple troopers joined the chase. You boxed it up. That vehicle provided a sector zero. I will be coming up to exit three right now. Exit three. Speed 99. Passed in the median. He might lose it there. 40 Going speed 100. That force is not going up. 29 doing what? The driver, identified as Anthony Brown Otter, and two passengers, Jasmine Page and Joshua Shepherd, were arrested on charges of trafficking controlled substances, tampering with evidence, and more. A team effort that exposed a major drug haul on the highway. Late one night in Michigan, troopers pursued a white Dodge Charger speeding through city streets, its driver refusing to stop. The pursuit involved multiple patrol units and Detroit police assistance as the Charger weaved through traffic at extreme speeds. 45 through Auburn. Speeds are 55 miles an hour. No traffic. Moments later, the car lost control and crashed along a service road. Troopers, guns drawn, surrounded the vehicle, ordering the suspects to crawl out one by one. Both men surrendered without further incident. What started as reckless defiance ended under flashing red and blue, a hard reminder that outrunning the Michigan State Police is never an option. On December 14th, 2023, a road rage call in Genesee County, Michigan, turned into a two-part pursuit that pushed troopers to their limits. The suspect, identified as Eddie Simmons, was accused of running another driver off the road before speeding away at over 100 mph. Good on the way so far. Good. Good. Good. GOOD. READY. PUSH MY YEP. Troopers eventually forced him to crash and captured him after a brief foot chase. Simmons was booked on multiple felony charges and taken to the Genesee County Jail. Two chases, two cars, one lesson, rage and the road never mix. In the early hours of September 18th, 2025, Tennessee Highway Patrol units chased a stolen GMC Sierra into Arkansas, where Trooper Daren Evans took over. The suspect, later identified as Justice Cisco, refused to stop, forcing other vehicles off the road at speeds above 90 mph. Left on him, okay. I left on him, no cover. I'm backing. With open containers and signs of intoxication, Cisco was charged with multiple felonies, including theft of property, fleeing, and driving while intoxicated. From state lines to shattered metal, the end came fast. Just after midnight on June 24th, 2024, Arkansas State Police pursued a stolen Nissan Kicks driven by 51-year-old William Barnett. The suspect sped through dark roads, refusing to surrender as troopers moved in. Hey, can you see that car that side? Show me your hands. Get out of the car. GET OUT OF THE HEY, where are your hands at? Out of the driver's side. Hey, what's going on? Hey, what's going on? Hey, what's going >> When the chase ended beneath an overpass, Barnett was pulled from the wrecked vehicle and taken into custody. He faced charges of vehicle theft, felony fleeing, resisting arrest, reckless driving, and more. A stolen ride that led straight to handcuffs and a very long night in jail. On May 9th, 2025 in Laredo, Texas, troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety chased a white Dodge Challenger driven by Humberto Misael Garcia. He tore through neighborhoods at 100 mph crashing into a wall, but continuing on with the hood flipped up. He was charged with smuggling of persons, evading arrest, and reckless driving. For Garcia, that night ended behind bars, not across the border. On September 6th, 2025 in West Memphis, Arkansas, Trooper Wright attempted a traffic stop for a car driving without headlights. The driver refused to stop weaving through neighborhoods as multiple PIT maneuvers failed to end the chase. We'll be at BP on Ingram extended with Adam John Young, 29 Robert. AJY 29R. His car had a non-functioning interlock device and the smell of alcohol filled the air. Keegler was arrested and charged with felony fleeing, DWI third offense, resisting arrest, and more. His reckless run left damaged fences, busted bumpers, and one of the most patient arrests of the year. What you just saw is only the beginning of the chaos caught on dash cams across the country. Check out the next video to see how far some drivers will go when running from the law. Thanks for being here. Make sure to subscribe for more real chase footage every week.
