August 3rd, 2023, Santa Fe. A pregnant officer was just trying to finish her shift when a reckless driver decided to turn the highway into his personal demolition derby. This motorist clearly missed the memo on basic road etiquette and respect for authority. He instead chose to repeatedly ram a patrol car while driving on the wrong side of the road. >> 10-4, looks like he's going to try He's slowing down. So, I need to I need to just >> The suspect was eventually hauled off to jail, while the expectant mother focused on her health. The suspect's bizarre attempts to bite the officers were thankfully unsuccessful. Despite the absolute chaos on the asphalt, everyone else on the roadway escaped without injury. Many viewers are now debating the wisdom of a pregnant officer being on such dangerous duty. What do you think about the risks involved in this situation? Please let us know your opinion in the comments. Grand Rapids saw its peace shattered on April 28th, 2023 when a stolen Infiniti decided to ignore a simple traffic stop. Troopers from the Michigan State Police found themselves chasing a vehicle packed with more people than common sense. The driver apparently thought a dead-end street was just a suggestion. >> We north bound Gladiola through 30/4. We're going to be behind that stolen uh that stolen uh Infiniti. Too fast. Too fast. Too fast. Got that here north bound. Yep, we're coming up to the dead end. Coming up to the dead end here at 30/4. You hold the air for 10-15 traffic. He's in a vehicle. Crawl out that window. I don't care. Crawl out the window. Crawl. You got to come out. Keep walking. Turn around. Turn around. There's one more here. No, stay in the car. >> Both the driver and his passengers ended up in handcuffs after their high-speed joyride met a very solid telephone pole. Local utility crews were left to clean up the mess while the suspects contemplated their life choices in juvenile detention. Sometimes a stolen car is just a one-way ticket to a very expensive legal headache and a meeting with a judge. Interstate 585 became a high-stakes chess match on May 9th, 2023 when a GMC Yukon with expired plates refused to play by the rules. The driver seemingly thought a residential yard was a shortcut to freedom before he decided to upgrade his getaway vehicle by stealing a truck at gunpoint. >> Black Yukon. >> You don't know what he's wearing. >> 15 337 from the 37 block down to the Black Horse Pike. >> 148 We think that he ran off at the crossover. Was he last seen here behind Nestlé in this construction area? >> Some of the workers are pointing back east. They're pointing back east. Looks like he's trying to get back on the interstate. He's on the interstate guardrail. He went through the guardrail, crossed traffic into the housing complex. I'm heading north on >> The suspect was eventually sniffed out in a neighbor's backyard after a brief and unsuccessful game of hide and seek. Authorities charged him with several felonies following his dramatic attempt to escape through a factory fence and a water-filled ditch. It turns out that jumping fences and swimming through ditches is a lot harder than it looks on television. July 25th, 2023 offered Dallas residents a front-row seat to a demolition derby involving a stolen U-Haul truck. 41-year-old Ryan Taylor decided that hitting 13 different vehicles was the best way to spend his Tuesday morning while fleeing from the Northwest Covert and Crime Response Team. >> [ __ ] >> Delta 581, we're about to be going under Northwest Highway on the NT. Oops, sorry. Don't Don't do anything stupid. >> Oh my god. >> Wrecked out. Just wrecked out. Hit one vehicle. Let's get somebody checking out. 63700 left COPY. >> OUT HERE. Ready? >> Taylor's flight ended at a local hospital for a leg wound after he decided to turn a car chase into a shootout with Officer Cannon Craven. He now faces a laundry list of charges including aggres- he smashed into sustained any injuries during his desperate attempt to reach a private hangar. The morning of August 16th, 2019 took a terrifying turn when Jonathan Tease decided that the wrong side of Interstate 41 was his personal playground. This wasn't just a case of bad driving. It was a drug-fueled sprint toward disaster at 100 mph that covered two separate counties. >> From the TV >> Copy, come up to the TV. >> All right, 10-18 10-12. >> Copy, 10-12 10-12. >> 4300 block Yeah, we got him 10-15 10-1. >> Copy, 10-15 10-1. They're not coming out. >> Tyz was eventually flushed out of a local business and hit with multiple counts of recklessly endangering safety. Captain Dan Sandberg noted that the community was incredibly lucky the morning didn't end in a funeral for an innocent bystander. The suspect's history of drug possession suggests this wasn't his first brush with a poor life choice, though it was certainly his most public one. Two teenagers in Columbus decided to spice up the afternoon of May 7th of 2024 by taking a stolen Hyundai for a spin. They apparently thought that playing real life bumper cars with four different police cruisers was a legitimate extracurricular activity for a Tuesday. >> Pull up to Demorest. I was second one going southbound. Yep, Northbound 1985. >> Both juveniles are currently reflecting on their behavior within the confines of a detention center. After damaging multiple police vehicles and crashing into a tree, their history with stolen cars has finally caught up with them. It is a harsh lesson that the virtual world of video games has much higher stakes when you're actually behind the wheel. A Drasco Cafe parking lot became the staging ground for a felony pursuit on October 8th, 2024. Adam Brackett was [music] spotted sporting fictitious tags on a white Ford Expedition, prompting an immediate and siren-filled interest from the Arkansas State Police. >> [screaming] >> DO IT! SHOW ME YOUR [ __ ] HANDS! SHOW ME YOUR HANDS! >> BRACKETT FOUND himself in the Cleburne County Detention Center facing a cocktail of charges including methamphetamine possession. While the passenger walked away free, Brackett had to deal with an aching arm and a very long list of traffic violations. The state trooper's vehicle took a $4,000 hit. However, the community is much safer with this reckless driver off the streets. September 23rd, 2024 saw a high-speed drug delivery service interrupted as a Chevrolet Tahoe crossed from Oklahoma into Arkansas. Derek Scrudder was clocking speeds of over 130 mph with a cargo that was far more dangerous than simple speeding. >> [screaming] >> I >> being recovered. >> I'm at 14104 and I'm recovered. >> I am at 28. >> I am at 28. I'm at 14104 and I'm >> I'm at the other one now. >> [groaning and screaming] >> I am at 14104 and I'm at the other one. White t-shirt. Blue jeans. Black male, blue t-shirt, blue jeans. And the word direction of travel? >> Officers discovered 240 lb of methamphetamine and a kilo of fentanyl hidden in Schrader's suitcases. He and his accomplice, Matthew Bunch, are now facing trafficking charges that will likely keep them off the road for several decades. Local residents are now seeking restitution for the property damage left in the wake of this criminal duo's final delivery attempt. The early hours of October 12th, 2025 turned bright when Pierce County deputies spotted a stolen box truck wandering through the Bonney Lake area. The driver clearly had no intention of stopping for a friendly chat about his vehicle's questionable ownership status. >> Now, I'll let you know which way he did go. He could turn. But, oh, never mind. There you are. >> Yeah, good sticks. 10-11. >> Good sticks, and he just attempted to hit another deputy. >> Attempted to hit another deputy, what's that? >> The last one unit number three monitoring. Right, right, right. >> Two attempted pits. He drove out on both of them. Third time's a charm. >> Right here. Right here. See, there we go. Right, right, right. >> Let's move in. >> Yeah, we got to move up. Move. I want to see >> Crossfire. Watch your crossfire. >> Both of you, put your hands UP ON THAT WINDSHIELD. NOW. GET BACK. GET AWAY FROM THE WINDSHIELD, DUMB ASS. >> HEY, YOU WANT TO PUT MY BOOT through it? My boot through it? Come on. >> I don't know. No. Get out. >> Get out. >> I'm trying. >> Crawl out. >> I'm trying, sir. >> [groaning] >> Crawl out. >> Crawl out. >> your hands on your head. ON YOUR HEAD. >> YEP, DONE. >> DON'T UNDERSTAND. I was trying to go home, dude. He said he All right, dude. >> All right. >> The 42-year-old driver was booked for eluding and assault after firefighters had to cut him out of the smoking wreckage. His passenger was released for medical care, but will eventually have to answer for his own outstanding warrants. A smoking engine is usually a good sign that your escape plan has officially failed and the law has won. March 22nd, 2024 featured a white Honda SUV driver in Sumter County who seemed to be living in a completely different weather system. Despite the clear skies, his windshield wipers were frantic and his high beams were blinding as he tore down the highway at 110 mph. >> Code 3 vehicle vehicle pursuit. Two more vehicles overturned. We're getting him out. 51. Code 3 vehicle vehicle pursuit. Two more vehicles overturned. We're getting him out. 51. >> Show me your hands. Show me your hands. Show me your hands. After supply. >> Come on. >> Okay. >> Have a seat. >> Tomorrow? >> Right now. >> Fine, man. It's so dirty in here. No. Do you remember? Oh. >> All right, whatever. >> The driver was later found guilty of fleeing and resisting without violence after his colorful roadside performance. By December, the court handed him 4 years of probation and a suspended driver's license. Hopefully, he finds a way to stay grounded without needing a high-speed chase and a variety of controlled substances to find his center. Late in the evening on June 22nd, 2024, Theon Rashad Loveberry decided that a gray Dodge Caravan was the perfect vessel for a triple-digit flight from the law. He wove through Interstate 40 traffic with a level of recklessness that suggested he wasn't particularly worried about the safety of the motoring public. >> They got to be on the ground. It's the matter they haven't given out their call sign All right, I'll deal with them. These 23 are on the ground here. DVI One running, one running. He's heading northbound into the tree line. >> Berry ended his night at a hospital after tumbling out of his moving vehicle at over 70 miles per hour. A canine unit eventually helped track him down in a nearby tree line where his short-lived foot race came to a painful end. It turns out that exiting a vehicle while it is still in motion is a terrible strategy for avoiding an arrest. The early hours of April 25th, 2024 turned into a nightmare when a suspect decided a high-speed chase was worth the risk of innocent lives. Carroll County residents were left in shock as a simple police pursuit ended in absolute carnage near a local bridge. >> 193, 193, 10-4. >> 3190 >> 10-50, 10-50. Star meter units, looks for me units. >> And you are where? >> 26, right in front of the bridge. 26 Fallon. >> You involved? I'm the other >> Show ME YOUR HANDS. HANDS. ARE YOU OKAY? >> YEAH. >> IS THERE ANY weapons in the car? >> Nope. >> All right. All right, where are you Where are you hurt, man? Yeah, one up. All right, one eye three car. I got one occupant in the uh in the vehicle that was fleeing. He's conscious. Seems to be stable, but um he's got some blood. I don't know from where. >> A female occupant in a second vehicle tragically passed away despite the best efforts of a nurse who lived nearby. The suspect was treated for his own injuries, but will eventually have to face the heavy legal consequences of his fatal decision. This incident serves as a somber reminder of the irreversible costs associated with choosing to run from the law. Independence, Missouri became the scene of a horrific collision on March 26th, 2023 when a driver decided traffic laws were merely suggestions. A motorcycle stood no chance when the fleeing suspect chose to ignore every warning sign and red light in his path. >> He's trying to go up there. I got him. He's going back on Lee's Summit. 250 there. I got him. He's going 250. Yeah, he's coming up the 100. Lee's Summit. There's no stop sign or anything. He continues to go on. >> [screaming] >> He's going back on Lee's Summit. He's going back on THE 250. 250. I GOT HIM. HE'S GOING BACK ON THE 250. HE'S GOING BACK ON THE 250. 250. All he's doing is going back. Okay, yeah. 250. He's going to be going ahead. I got that. Thank you. I got him. Sparks coming from the vehicle. He's going to be going eastbound on 70 in the eastbound lane. He's on the westbound off ramp. He says westbound off ramp on 70. He's going to go eastbound on Lee's Summit. >> I got him. He's going up on Lee's Summit. >> Positive contact. I put him back around. He's going back around on Lee's Summit. >> Positive contact. I put him back around. He's going back around on Lee's Summit. >> [screaming] [screaming] >> Two innocent people on the motorcycle passed away as a direct result of the suspect's complete disregard for human life. The driver was eventually cornered after his vehicle shed its tires and his luck finally ran out. Justice will be sought for the lives cut short by a few minutes of criminal adrenaline and poor judgment. Tyler Jones decided to take a stolen Dodge 3500 on an impromptu off-roading tour through soybean fields on September 18th, 2024. He seemingly believed that the Arkansas River was the finish line for his high-speed evasion of the authorities. >> They're going north Yeah, we're going north. Right now we're through the Meridian. Going up the hill. >> We're going back towards Sportsman. I'm trying to cut over and head back. Stop. We're all We're all stopped. Stop. YOU'RE GOING TO GET [screaming] DOG BIT. GET OUT HERE RIGHT NOW. GET OVER HERE. YOU MOVE, I'LL SHOOT YOU. GET OUT HERE RIGHT NOW. Get your hands up. Where's the rest of them that was with you? WHERE'S THE REST OF THEM? GET OUT HERE AND GET ON THE GROUND. Get on the ground or I'll shoot you. Get out here and get on the ground right now or I'm going to shoot you. I'm out here, Matt. Where you at? Shut up. >> Hey, which way did they go, man? >> I've no idea. >> We ramped off right here? >> They bailed down here? Hey, they're going to be down here by the river. He asked if you can come down here. That's where they fled. >> Female and another male. >> It's going to be a female and another male. They'll be by the river. >> After a wet and unsuccessful swim, Jones was tackled on the riverbank and taken into custody alongside his two passengers. Investigators eventually recovered a stolen lawnmower that Jones had stashed at a friend's house earlier that day. He now faces felony fleeing and theft charges. It seems even a river cannot wash away a criminal record. The early hours of December 6th, 2024 were anything but quiet for Escambia County after Trest Delila Dawson was caught speeding in a Toyota HRV. What should have been a simple ticket turned into a 120 mile per hour sprint through the night. >> STOP! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! >> [screaming] >> NO! STOP! NO! NO! NO! >> [screaming] >> DAWSON WAS EVENTUALLY SUBDUED BY A Taser after a short-lived foot race and a very expensive collision with a parked Suburban. A search of the vehicle revealed drugs and paraphernalia adding to his already impressive list of felony charges. His status as a habitual traffic offender suggests he might be walking for a very long time once he leaves jail. November 23rd, 2024 saw David Gilbert making a series of very poor decisions starting with a broken tag light and ending with a high-speed head-on collision. He maneuvered his Dodge Avenger onto the wrong side of the road with a complete lack of concern for anyone else's safety. >> Going up to 85 now. We're going uh uh Going northbound on 85. >> Northbound on 85. >> They just crossed over the median uh 85 going back southbound. >> Cross 78. >> It's a black Dodge Avenger. 41 uh 41 41 right here at Main Street. >> I have 41. I GOT ONE RUNNING. >> I have this one. >> Put your hands behind your [ __ ] back! >> Everybody, what's your location? >> Everybody, radio, I got one in custody. I'm in the parking lot of the Family Dollar. You start at 4:00 on the rush. >> Gilbert was eventually apprehended in the bushes after a taser failed to penetrate his thick winter wardrobe. The innocent driver he struck, Ms. Harris, had to be transported to the hospital for her injuries, while Gilbert was processed for 15 separate charges. He eventually signed himself out of medical care only to be handed directly over to the staff at the county jail. Rashun DeMont Gary decided that 90 mph was too slow for a 60 mph zone on October 3rd, 2024. He pushed his tan SUV to a staggering 130 mph, leaving a trail of dust and danger in his wake as he used oncoming lanes to pass traffic. >> Yep. >> Going to need one on you. >> I got behind you. He's swerving towards you. >> Looking for that Charger. He and me probably get together. >> So, I'm 10-10 34 network 19 J34B. >> 11's 11 for on secondary. 42 I'm calling it. >> Driving in all civilian traffic. KVIA media. >> Roll over start this thing. Roll over and start this thing. >> Hands on the ground. >> Third person, sir. >> Gary was eventually tackled after a brief foot race and ordered to remain behind bars on a $75,000 cash bond while the trooper involved required medical attention for facial injuries. Gary was lucky to walk away with only minor scratches. A judge has since labeled him a significant danger to the public. That is a hard title to argue with given the speed of his flight. Since common sense is clearly in short supply, this video is just the tip of the iceberg for what we have coming your way. Check out the next video to see the next driver who failed their real-world physics exam. Thanks for being here. Be sure to subscribe to keep the pursuit going.
