July 3rd, 2023 was a lovely day for a traffic stop in St. Augustine until a driver decided the Florida Highway Patrol was just offering a friendly suggestion to pull over. This individual clearly had a schedule too tight for law enforcement. He launched a high-speed dash through the local streets. Right lane, Mike. Right lane. Heat. Heat. 2100 Oh [ __ ] Signal for 64. Second floor. >> Yeah. 100. The runner's bold attempt to outpace physics ended with a sudden introduction to a passing vehicle. He was subsequently taken into custody while needing some unexpected medical attention. Authorities are now sorting through the wreckage of his afternoon plans at the local station. On November 9th, 2023, a stolen cargo van decided to upgrade its rental agreement to include a high-speed pursuit through Miami Dade County. The driver was reportedly linked to a collection of thefts and an earlier battery on an officer. He certainly wasn't looking for a return deposit. >> All right, we're going to continue past 106. Traffic at 1437. The suspects were eventually handed over to the Homestead Police Department to answer for their mobile crime spree. Investigators are now tallying up the damages from the van's final journey. It seems the slogan about making moving easier didn't quite apply to their escape attempt. June 21st, 2022 found a Toyota Corolla speeding down Interstate 75 in Turner County with a driver who apparently thought Georgia's speed limits were mere suggestions. The driver, later identified as 28-year-old Javvante Lauan Davis, was juggling a suspended license and a fugitive status from Ohio. 7 street now. Yeah. >> Hey, turn around. Sorry, I this end. >> A Turner County judge handed down an 8-year prison sentence to ensure this fugitive spends his next few summers behind bars. He is currently waiting for a one-way bus ticket back to Ohio to face even more robbery charges. This case serves as a blunt reminder that a simple speeding ticket is much cheaper than nearly a decade in a cell. July the 10th, 2021. Early morning, a driver decided that the best way to handle a police encounter on Interstate 85 was to kill the lights and disappear into the darkness. This stealth mode enthusiast was reportedly pushing his vehicle past 140 mph. He seemed to believe he was invisible to the Georgia State Patrol. Oh, come on now. All right. Uh, never mind. We're driving back out of it. We're driving back out now. You try to exit at 34. All right. We need to cut back up the embankment. We're going back up to the 34 now. Clearing up the attack. >> Clear. Uh, I just touched him again. All right, he's still the driver eventually admitted that he fled simply because he didn't want to revisit the local jail. His four-year-old daughter was thankfully returned to her mother after a terrifying ride she never asked for. He now has a permanent residence in the Harris County Sheriff's Office to reflect on his parenting choices. January 25th, 2023, at approximately midnight, a black Dodge Charger was clocked doing 68 mph in a 35 mph zone on Peach Tree Road. The driver, later identified as 25-year-old Caleb McNeel, initially slowed down as if he were a law-abiding citizen before showing his true colors and accelerating into the night. Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> Get on the ground. >> Give me your hands. Give me a hand. >> Driving. You got to drive. >> Mr. McNeel was eventually escorted to the Fulton County Jail after a very short career as a cross-country runner. Officers found a rifle with a 100 round drum in the car. He certainly wasn't planning a quiet night in. He will now have plenty of time to explain his driving techniques to his new roommates. August 29th, 2023 began as a normal morning for 63-year-old truck driver Thomas Arthur Job until a wrongway driver turned Interstate 40 into a chaotic trap. Traffic was already at a standstill due to a police incident involving that reckless motorist. The stage was set for a tragedy. I'm okay with her passenger car, but it is going to be an older couple. Uh, okay. No problem. 1097. >> I got that vehicle stopped. 35 78 35 78. >> Oh [ __ ] Tell them 1041 106 >> 1041 1011 start at 1016 185. >> We good. We good. Hit the car. The Malver community is now mourning the loss of a man who loved his Razerbacks and his large family. Thomas Arthur Job has gone to be with his Jesus. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and a heartbroken group of grandchildren. This incident highlights the devastating ripple effect that one person's reckless choices can have on innocent lives. The evening of April 12th, 2024 saw a driver try to pull a fast one with an illegal test drive tag in the city of Riverdale. When the Clayton County Cobra Unit tried to check his credentials, he decided to demonstrate the car's acceleration instead of his paperwork. Guys, one more time. It was just them two. Hey, sir, if you didn't know, you are under arrest. Okay. >> All right, bet. >> Yes, sir. >> The suspect was quite worried about how his girlfriend would react to the total destruction of her brand new car. He was taken into custody with a side of marijuana and a very difficult phone call to make. It turns out that taking the test drive tag literally was a very expensive mistake for his relationship. February 27th, 2023 was a busy day for the Florida Highway Patrol in Pulk County as they spotted a stolen vehicle that refused to cooperate. The driver appeared to be on a mission to see how many laws he could break before the sun went down. Clear airports by select insurance. Get the out. Romeo 48. >> Let's go. >> Anyone else in that car? Anyone else in that car? >> Any weapons in the car? >> All right, get in. I have ambulance. Check you out. One suspect had a rather difficult time staying awake for his booking photos after the adrenaline finally wore off. Officers had to repeatedly encourage him to open his eyes while they processed his new living arrangements. He is currently resting in a county provided bed where he can dream about his next great escape. On August 7th, 2021, a white Toyota Corolla was spotted fleeing through Tallahassee with a reputation that preceded it. The vehicle was reportedly stolen and linked to an armed robbery earlier that day. The teenager behind the wheel was in no mood for a chat. that way. >> Bail out. Investigators are now connecting the dots between the stolen car and the earlier robbery. It seems this young man's Saturday night plans have been officially replaced by a meeting with a judge. December 28th, 2022, an Aura with Texas plates decided that Arkansas was the perfect place to test its evasion capabilities. The driver apparently thought that crossing state lines gave him a free pass to ignore the flashing lights behind him. Let's see. He wrecked out. out. >> They going to be at some railroad tracks right there. >> Turn around. Fall out. >> Fall out. Fall out. All right. >> How about 321? >> I'm done. 3.1. >> We should congratulate this driver for his stellar performance in the how to get arrested in a new state category. He was eventually cuffed after begging the officers to let him go. However, the law isn't exactly known for its sense of humor. He now has a fresh set of charges to add to his travel diary. In the evening of July the 16th of 2024, a Chevrolet Impala caught the eye of the BAT unit after an erratic lane change on Tara Boulevard. The driver, later identified as James Lee Mason, decided that a simple traffic stop was the perfect time to show off his car's top speed. Please go traffic. >> I'm about to put your car in a ditch. You better pull over. I'm about to put you into a tree. Better pull over. But if you occupy one type there 65 Uh be 138 now. 13 tire underneath. We recover. We recover. Don't go from highway 138. Don't go 138. >> Hey, watch out. Let me get him again. Watch out. Storage down. Get back. James Lee Mason was eventually cleared by medical staff and given a one-way trip to the Clayton County Jail. His passenger was released at the scene. He presumably decided that walking was a much safer way to travel. Mr. Mason now has a collection of charges, including reckless driving to keep him busy. Late night of November 8th, 2024, saw a gray Toyota Camry speeding through a monsoon-like rainstorm on Interstate 630. The driver, later identified as Dominic Williams, apparently thought that hydroplaning was just an advanced driving technique. I don't have 11 rattling. That's not right. Heat. Heat. One Why don't we go? You messed up. You messed up. >> Okay. >> Put him right here real quick. >> What else you got? Where? >> You go ahead and get tire. try to figure out which power company runs those so we can contact him and get him out there. >> Dominic Williams was checked out at a hospital before being booked into the Palaski County detention center. He is now facing a massive bill for the utility pole and the two parked cars he managed to destroy. Between the felony fleeing and the property damage, this rainy night out turned into a very expensive life lesson. Sunday, April 23rd, 2023, near 800 PM, a speeding Honda Accord was pulled over on Highway 82 by an officer who noticed the driver's heart was practically jumping out of his chest. The driver, Preston Hillyard, had a resume filled with drug and firearm charges. He clearly wasn't interested in adding a speeding ticket. Yeah. Heat. Heat. Heat. down. Oh [ __ ] Let me see your hand. Let me see your hand. Hand behind your back. Hand behind your back. Relax. Okay. Anything on you hurt in any way? >> Preston Hillyard was eventually discovered hiding inside a nearby residence and taken into custody. He spent the rest of his evening apologizing for the destruction he caused to a local family's home and three other vehicles. He is now facing 16 different charges while sitting in the Lafayette County Jail. On September 28th, 2024, a gray Dodge Ram was clocked doing 107 mph in a 60 mph zone. The driver, later identified as a man named Mr. Hot. Hotchkiss was using the turn lanes to pass traffic like he was in a race with no finish line. 37. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hot. Hotchkiss eventually transported to a hospital in Memphis to deal with a neck fracture. He now faces a long list of charges, including driving while intoxicated and criminal mischief. March 15th, 2024, a stolen truck decided to test the depth of the puddles on a flooded roadway. The driver was eventually taken to the hospital while complaining that he couldn't breathe. However, he had plenty of energy to fight with the officers. His passenger found out the hard way that riding in a stolen truck usually ends with a broken leg. At least the dog was rescued and remained safe far away from this driver's questionable decisions. May 10th of 2024, near 11:00 a.m., a red Dodge Ram TRX with a dark window tint caught the eye of a trooper at a gas station. The driver, later identified as Kwan Tucker, decided to accelerate onto Bolton Road. He was apparently more interested in his live stream than the patrol car behind him. At these uh police, right? See, state patrol look when state patrol want you. The difference between them and a regular county cop, APD, if they looking for you and they want to [ __ ] with you or they trying to, you know, harass you, they'll go park in the corner somewhere. The medical examiner was eventually called to the scene after Kwan Tucker's final high-speed dash ended in a quiet residential area. Bystanders were kept back while investigators processed the wreckage and recovered a pistol with no serial number. This tragic conclusion serves as a grim warning to anyone who thinks they can outrun the laws of physics. On July 31st, 2025, a sports car blasted past a scale house at a rate of speed that suggested the driver was late for the end of the world. Kevin Kindres castana was reportedly behind the wheel. He decided to turn off his lights to play a dangerous game of hideand seek with the authorities. He still blacked out. I can hear him, but I just can't see him. Springdale's in this as well. The old school house for old school house. What's your problem? >> You the driver, sir. >> Come over here for me. Put your hands on the car for me. Kevin Kindress Castanada later explained that he fled because he didn't have a license. He apparently thought that crashing into three people was a better strategy. He is now sitting in the Washington County jail with plenty of time to work on his driver's education. and his grand escape resulted in a series of battery charges and a very disappointed judge. This pursuit has reached its final stop, but the consistent lack of logic on our highways suggests we are only at the beginning of this journey. Head over to the next video right now to see a suspect try to explain the unexplainable to a very unimpressed trooper. We are just scratching the surface of the footage featuring drivers who truly believed their sedan could fly over a concrete median.
