On October 8th, 2021, Georgia State Patrol was assisting the Evans County Sheriff's Office with a license check near Georgia Highway 121 and Georgia Highway 169. On January 31st, 2026, Arkansas State Police joined a pursuit involving a white Dodge Durango moving at extreme speeds through icy late-night conditions. On February 7th, 2024, Tontitown Police were called to assist with a high-speed pursuit involving an allegedly stolen U-Haul cargo van. On May 25th, 2020, Georgia State Patrol troopers were asked to help Savannah police stop a white Ford Econoline van with a confirmed stolen plate and possible stolen vehicle status. On April 18th, 2023, Rosemont police were alerted to a stolen vehicle through license plate reading technology. Once an officer spotted the vehicle, the driver decided the smart move was to bring stolen car energy straight into traffic. Turning right onto Mannheim North. I'm turning right on Mannheim North. Schiller Park and Chicago fire departments responded to the scene while the stolen vehicle case moved from roadside pursuit to crash investigation. On August 25th, 2023, Deputy Jones was running traffic enforcement on Interstate 75 South in Clayton County when he clocked a blue Mercedes-Benz at 83 mph in a 65-mph zone. A traffic stop for speed and lane violations quickly turned into a roadside debate starring alcohol odor, glassy eyes, and a driver insisting she had only been pouring drinks. On July 29th, 2019, deputies in Walnut Grove spotted a white pickup truck with two men not wearing seat belts and a cracked windshield. The driver, later identified as Philemon Gray, added an improper turn to the menu and turned a routine stop into school zone stupidity. >> [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] [screaming] >> Gray was transported to Piedmont Walton for ankle pain before both he and passenger Terrell Banks were booked at the Walton County Jail. Gray faced warrants including felony fleeing, reckless driving, concealing the identity of a vehicle, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony while Banks faced obstruction. On April 22nd, 2024, Trooper Garrett Byrd saw a white Hyundai Elantra run a red light in West Memphis and continue at a high rate of speed. The driver, Brittany Mercedes Miles, kept moving with emergency flashers on, creating the kind of situation that looked reckless before officers learned the full story. Let me see your hands. Open the door. Open the door. All right, step out with your hands where I can see them. Step out! Step out with your hands where I can see them. Step out. Come here. You're fine. Miles was evaluated by emergency medical services after explaining that her brother had been shot in the head and she was trying to get to the hospital. Considering her distress, cooperation, and the confirmed medical emergency, she was released on her own recognizance with charges including reckless driving, failing to stop at a red light, speeding, no liability insurance, careless and prohibited driving, and fleeing. Late at night, deputies and Georgia State Patrol were looking for a repeat fleeing suspect who had already run from Bulloch County deputies days earlier. This time, the agencies were not exactly in the mood for a sequel. >> I'm going to go and find the dude. All right, he's got oncoming traffic. Oncoming traffic right now. [screaming] AFTER THE CHASE, officers confirmed the vehicle came back to the suspect and discussed his suspended driving status on scene. He was taken into custody after another round of reckless driving allegations, while deputies and troopers sorted out the case list from yet another run-in with the same fleeing driver. On March 1st, 2025, a Florida Highway Patrol Trooper saw a black Nissan Maxima rush up behind his marked unit near Interstate 95 and Northwest 103rd Street. The driver then split between cars at a red light because apparently patience was not installed on that model. The subject was identified as Antoine David Lawson and was transported to Jackson Main Hospital for evaluation after Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office deputies helped locate him. Investigators noted that Lawson had six driving while license suspended convictions. The tag was no longer assigned to a vehicle and the Nissan was not registered in Florida. On January 19th, 2023, Doral police tried to stop a van driven by 41-year-old Walfrey Bautista-Miranda. Miranda was wanted on active felony warrants for aggravated assault by strangulation and aggravated stalking tied to a domestic incident from the day before. He just 41 me. He just 41 me. The case centered on the active felony warrants, the patrol car takeover, and the immediate threat officers said unfolded during the stop. On June 1st, 2022, Georgia State Patrol spotted a silver Toyota Corolla on North Greenwood with no tag lights. The driver initially stopped, then kept rolling with flashers on like he was negotiating his own traffic stop subscription plan. >> All right. 98, okay. All right, he's going to be All right, he's not going to be afraid of me. His license is almost to expire. All right, we're going to 98, okay. Still moving on 48. We'll call it a day. All right. Where were you Well, I was sitting in the back seat. >> Females, right? Yes. Females. Sitting in the back seat behind the passenger or behind the driver? Behind the driver. I don't know. So, you sitting behind the driver? Yes, sir. The driver was later identified as Jermaine V. Jones of LaGrange, Georgia after he left his identification card in the vehicle and the passengers identified him. Two passengers were booked into Troup County Jail for obstruction and Jones later turned himself in after his girlfriend said she would bring him to the jail. On May 23rd, 2023, Florida Highway Patrol troopers tried to stop a black Hyundai Genesis for speeding and following too closely in rainy conditions. Instead of pulling over in Pensacola, the driver kept heading southbound on Palafox Street and turned bad weather into worse judgment. >> [screaming] [screaming] >> The suspect was arrested after troopers brought the pursuit to an end. With the rain, the speeding, and the failure to stop all stacked together, the case moved from traffic enforcement into a full pursuit arrest. This case wraps up here, but the next video shows how quickly another routine stop can spiral out of control. Watch the next video to see what happens when the pressure rises and the suspect still refuses to stop. Thanks for watching and make sure to subscribe for more pursuit videos.
