On March 27th, 2024, a stolen vehicle rolling through Arlington caught the attention of Virginia State Police. The driver had no intention of stopping once the emergency lights came on. A routine attempt to regain control of the situation quickly turned into a refusal to comply that pushed troopers deeper into Northern Virginia. Taking a right on Picker Road. Rand light at Picker Road. Right. >> Uh they just went through Judicial Drive. They're going south on 123. Ran the red light. >> We're about to pass Mason here soon. We're coming up to Friday here in the next couple seconds. >> All right, he's spinning out. Spinning out. Spinning out. 1050. Spinning out, but he might be continuing. >> Ah, coming up on Bradic here in a second. Did he make contact with you at all? >> No, he just 360ed and continued and I missed the pit. So, we're coming up on Bradic. Um, little bit of traffic here at the light at Neighbor Drive is what we're coming up on. Neighbor Drive on Neighbor Drive. Auto neighbor Drive has no order. I don't believe he's anywhere to go back there. the cold attack then 71. In the end, the vehicle was found crashed on private property after striking a tree. Troopers confirmed there was no damage to nearby homes. A firearm was recovered from inside the vehicle and the driver was taken into custody facing charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, felony eluding, and unlawful possession of a firearm. Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, police in Southern California locked onto a stolen work truck that refused to slow down. The driver made it clear she was not stopping quietly. What started in La Habra quickly spiraled across multiple counties as officers tried to contain the growing risk. >> What may be Maple Street here coming up on a traffic light as long as he's been on surface streets has not bothered to stop for many red lights. And in this case, he's got the green light coming to a stop. Coming to a stop at the green light at the entrance. Look at that. Putting into reverse, reversing into that La Habra PD unit. That primary unit standing still as that work truck rams into the hood of that SUV. Look at this. Ramming in again in reverse. That work truck now pulling it into reverse. Ramming into the front of that PD unit for no apparent reason here. But the charges have just a been amped up dramatically here as he pulls into an industrial area. And look at this. LOOK AT THIS WILD PIT THERE. FULL SPEED into the front of the work truck boxing him in here. And now they will be forced to use force if this driver does anything threatening whatsoever. Look at this. Backing up into those black and whites. He's backing up and shoving those units out of the way. Desperate to get away. Officers with their guns drawn. And the K9 unit now. LOOK AT THIS. OVER THE TREE through the trees and trying to get away. He's through private property running through a fence here. He's trying to ram through a fence trying to get through those trees and these units have to get back in their vehicles. Three La Habra PD units are going to be calling for backup here. And now California Highway Patrol may very well be getting involved uh sooner rather than later. Look at this. These vehicles are going to Look at that. The primary unit ramming full speed again. That vehicle is now disabled. The primary unit is now completely disabled. That work truck taking the fence with him and now getting on to the freeway. I think he just GOT ONTO THE FREEWAY. HE'S GOING THE WRONG WAY. The wrong way on the freeway. He's going the wrong way on the 91. He's going eastbound on the westbound side of the 91 freeway. A stolen work truck ramming into police officers, refusing to pull over after what was a relatively tame pursuit has now gone completely off the rails here. As we now go eastbound on the 91 freeway with debris being dragged along the freeway, that work truck ramming into three separate La Habra PD units. those officers jumping out of their vehicle with their guns drawn and then ramming full speed into this work truck and now this work truck appears to be having mobility issues. Uh now as he faces oncoming traffic, he's come to a standstill as he faces oncoming traffic on the westbound side of the 91 freeway. He went full bumper, a little bit messed up, but now look at this. Look at the agitated driver behind the wheel here. This driver creating lots of havoc now. And now there's going to be a major confrontation as soon as California Highway Patrol uh gets into position here. Look at that. It's a female driver. A female driver jumping out of the vehicle running into ACROSS LANES. LOOK AT THIS. Oh my goodness. The female driver running across the 91 freeway. Those drivers don't see her. She is not well. She's not well. She's not well. And she is now running for it. crossing all lanes of the 91 freeway now using the shoulder. You see the night sun up above there by the California Highway Patrol. This woman continuing the run of her life as she has now made it to the other side of the freeway looking for a hiding spot at a Denny's. She's at a Denny's parking lot on the other side of the 91 freeway. She abandoned the work truck and now she's trying to wave down somebody for some assistance here. She is uh desperate individual uh who is acting very very erratic. The well the wig just fell off guys. This is out of control. This is just out of control. This person now running through the front of the Denny's and now into the Denny's. Running into the Denny's or Carl's Jr. is there a Carl's Jr. or a Dennis the Denny. So there's a Carl's Jr. next door. Uh that person just ran into the Denny's with uh I think those those may be the original La Habrai units. I can't tell. Uh they certainly it can't all be because at least one of those units was pretty much disabled. And now you can see a number of officers entering the restaurant here going inside the of the property unmanned. It certainly appears as though this may be wrapping up. And hopefully in the next couple of minutes here we'll see that suspect walked out of the front of the restaurant. And here she is. There she is. Uh, finally, they've been able to take her into custody after hiding out inside that restaurant. It appears that she was uh locked up somewhere in there and they have finally been able to extract her from this restaurant, now placing her under. After the chase ended in Corona, the driver ran from the disabled truck and attempted to hide inside a Denny's restaurant before being taken into custody following a standoff. The suspect identified as 26year-old Nicks Green was later transported by ambulance and charged with assault with a deadly weapon on officer's possession of stolen property and evading police. December 4th, 2020 style coverage fits this one. Florida Highway Patrol suddenly found themselves chasing burglary suspects who chose the turnpike as their escape route. The suspects committed fully to speed as their only strategy turning a daytime drive into a high-risk pursuit. >> Traffic pass. We got traffic advised. They're not going to 1031, but if they fail, they will assist 97. How about the aircraft? Will they assist with that? Mark advis their unit as well. >> Just pass 120. Just 120 97. On April 12th, 2024, a Kentucky state trooper clocked a vehicle moving far beyond the speed limit and attempted a stop. The driver responded by accelerating straight toward Hopkinsville. The refusal to yield turned city streets into a danger zone. He's running the stop sign on 418. >> Oh my gosh. He's heading eastbound in the westbound lane of MLK Boulevard. Eastbound and westbound laning may red light. Red light at 41A. He's running it. We're about to pass MLK. We got to thank is Boy David Sam 2815 BDS 2815 Silver >> He lost it Mville. He lost it. On a night in Orlando, Florida, highway patrol zeroed in on a suspect already wanted for cocaine trafficking. The driver chose movement over compliance. The suspect was arrested and later faced trafficking charges along with fleeing and related offenses. On July 25th, 2025, a broken tail light on a moped in Pineluff, Arkansas, seemed minor at first glance. The rider's sudden change of heart turned a simple stop into a slow speed pursuit through neighborhood streets. >> Get in the parking lot. >> Hey, get in the parking lot. You about to have a problem real quick. uh walking down the street hat. No shirt. Wonder. Hey, >> get my dog. drop anything out there. >> After fleeing on foot and being taken into custody, the rider was identified as Eddie Williams. Officers recovered a crystalall-like substance believed to be methamphetamine, and Williams was booked on multiple charges, including fleeing possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended license. On March 9th, 2023, Florida Highway Patrol attempted a traffic stop in Jacksonville after spotting illegal window tint. The driver's nervous behavior stood out immediately. When asked to exit the vehicle, she chose escape instead. >> No ma'am traffic out. Hey, sorry. I just had one take off for me. She's got something in here. Like what was that? >> I don't know. She grabbed the liquid in the handbag and she was texting somebody. Sorry. A12 color. All right. >> Pulling through the target parking lot. I'm slowing down. 15 mph. She's on the 800. >> Hey, pull up behind. Pull up behind. Behind. She is on a flat right front tire in the back. Get the girl. >> I'm sorry. >> Get on the ground. >> What have you taken? putting all these people's lives in danger like that for some [ __ ] >> What do you think? killed somebody. >> Following the end of the chase inside a Home Depot, the driver was identified as 45year-old Cababricia Latuanas Caldwell. Investigators confirmed she had multiple active felony warrants and she was charged with fleeing or eluding reckless driving and resisting an officer without violence. On April 6th, 2023, Los Angeles police began tracking a reported stolen vehicle weaving through Pico Union. The driver kept pushing despite heavy pedestrian traffic nearby. The situation grew more unpredictable as passengers jumped from the moving car. can't go off of the vehicle license plate because it appears to be a stolen vehicle. And so they have limited knowledge about the driver. But once again, you can see he is posing a real danger to all of these other motorists as he speeds down Venice Boulevard at upwards of 50 miles hour. A spike strip. A spike strip. It missed. A failed spike at Venice and Bonnie Bray. Continuing westbound Venice Boulevard. driver. >> Thank you. A northbound turn onto Courtland Avenue. Another suspect jumping out, running for it. They're going to take him into custody in short [snorts] order here and the driver is continuing once again. So now three people have jumped out of this vehicle and the driver continuing the pursuit. Again, [clears throat] this is a stolen vehicle and we're told uh by sources that there was also a felony want for the driver of this car. So, it's more than just grand theft auto. There are additional charges. Yeah, you can't help but presume that this is probably an area that he's very familiar with, if not resides in. Too early to tell. Again, three suspects jumping out of the vehicle in this neighborhood and we believe at least one or two of them have been taken into custody and hopefully LAPD is in the process of trying to gain more intel. Look at all of these units. Not only the units behind him, but at some of these intersections there are units that have been able to set up for him and even attempt several spike strips. But so far, we have not seen any successful spikes just yet. At one point, he did fish tail quite a bit and we'll see. There he is coming out. coming out still pushing the gas pedal trying to get away from those officers. But that vehicle is, look at that. There's more flat tires. In fact, both of those tires on the right side are flat. And the vehicle obviously starting to struggle here as he struggles to maintain control of the vehicle, wobbling back and forth as he tries to control that steering wheel. It's not cooperating. And I think it's fair to say, Jory, this vehicle now on borrowed time as they are now setting up at various intersections along Pico Boulevard getting ready for the termination of this pursuit. trying to see this pursuit come past their neighborhood here. Uh but there are risk factors and unfortunately well fortunately it's uh a late hour. So we're not dealing with, you know, daytime traffic. Uh the only uh more ideal situation would be if he was on the freeway. Look at that. More spike strips. He's going to drive around that spike, but uh there's not much tire left to spike. I mean, there's pretty much uh you know, it's pretty much game over at this point. He's on that he's on his last few miles here, but uh the only thing better or safer would be on the freeway. Right now, though, that doesn't seem to be an option for him. He has bypassed every opportunity to get on the freeway and he is just crawling now up Alvarado Street once again choosing the same streets over and over again which has allowed them to set up at intersections ahead of him uh not only to set up spike strips but also to close off additional traffic doing or repeated circles along the same exact streets. It's telling that even as the pursuit has slowed down to 20 25 miles per hour coming really close to those parked cars, it's telling that they have not given the go-ahad for a pit maneuver. It seems like relatively good conditions for a pit maneuver to put the final nail in the coffin of this pursuit. However, there must be a reason why they are not opting for that pit maneuver. They're continuing to let this drag on uh despite the fact that it has slowed down tremendously. compliments of those spike attempts that have successfully flattened almost all four tires and uh those units are continuing to follow at a close distance. They could easily pit him if they wanted to, but for some reason they have not. And in any event, that pursuit now coming to a grinding halt here, it looks like along Alvarado Street just shy of Olympic Boulevard. And this might be it. He's pushing the pedal to the metal and the car is not cooperating. It looks like this has come to a dead stop on Alvarado Street. Officers getting out of their cruisers where they're might be ready to uh surrender here. You could see him maybe communicating. Uh hands in hands not in the air. He's out of the vehicle. There's the hands. Hands up in the air. His back facing those officers stepping away from the vehicle slowly. And now it appears he is giving himself up. They are uh not going to take any chances with him. They are going to continue to instruct him uh to do a number of things and uh eventually he'll be proned out here in just a second. He's walking away from them for some reason. And now on his knees, right, that's right here. He is proned out. All eyes. >> After the vehicle finally slowed to a stop on damaged wheels, at least two occupants surrendered and were taken into custody. Charges related to vehicle theft and evading police were expected as investigators worked to identify all individuals involved. On February 23rd, 2025, Arkansas State Police radar locked onto a Chevrolet Corvette, tearing through Interstate 630 well above the limit. The driver responded to emergency lights by pushing the car harder through traffic. >> Get out my way. Get out theing way. We're going to be southwest one. ter. Nothing at all. Traffic >> 62. Arkansas State Police positioned themselves for an interception as the truck crossed into their jurisdiction. Show me your primary. Tennessee boy David Moa 9 839. >> We're heading to Broadway right now. Here we go. Here we go. >> [screaming] >> TVI. TVI TV. He's still on the road. Did you get a flight? >> On the map, he's on Broadway near >> Broadway and okay street. >> Broadway right down the road. Several city units look like they're on route. >> Two THB units in front of me. I'm third. >> Everybody get off the radio. He's got units with him. Get on the radio. GIVE ME YOUR HANDS. Give me youring hands. What's >> going on? >> Yeah. You don't know what's going on. >> Trust God. What? After the pursuit ended, the suspect was taken into custody and questioned about the vehicle and the robbery. Charges tied to armed robbery and felony fleeing were expected as the investigation continued. On August 29th, 2025, an Arkansas State Police sobriety checkpoint was interrupted when a driver refused basic instructions. What should have been routine instantly turned volatile. Please second. 94. Let me get up beside you on this straight stretcher. I can kind of for you might be able to pull ahead of me. Pull up con a little quicker than me. You understand me? >> Give me your other hand. >> GIVE ME YOUR OTHER HAND. OH, >> I need miracle. >> You got it. >> After the vehicle was stopped and the driver located hiding nearby, Kenneth Terrell was arrested and medically evaluated before booking. He faced charges including felony fleeing reckless driving, driving with a suspended license, and multiple additional warrants tied to prior offenses. On April 18th, 2021, a motorcycle refused to stop on Interstate 85 in Georgia. The rider pushed deeper into county roads at unsafe speeds. The escape attempt became increasingly unstable with every turn. >> [music] >> We're 16 west ever. 10 miles. Project launch. >> GET ON THE GODDAMN GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND. Get on the ground. Get on the ground. >> Says you didn't get hurt or hurt anybody. Get up. Get up. >> Put your nose on the hood. >> Put your nose on the hood. >> Oh, I have I have a pistol in my pocket. >> Outstanding. >> It's mine. It's mine. When terrain finally forced the motorcycle to stop, the rider was identified as Marcus Wilson Boyd and taken into custody. He faced charges related to felony fleeing reckless driving and traffic violations while legally owned property was released to a towing service. On July 23rd, 2025, Arkansas State Police noticed a Buick Regal drifting across lanes on Interstate 30. The driver briefly pretended to comply before accelerating away. Movement inside the vehicle suggested more than one occupant. Please receive 12. Let's go around here. window. Give me Got two males running on foot. Black males are running running north from the 134. Can't get to this exit. Careful. Out of 12. I'm going to have to stay with the car. It's in the middle of the interstate. After the pursuit ended and multiple suspects were captured, Saint Tavius Sumler and Herman Hill were taken into custody. Firearms were recovered and both men faced felony charges, including fleeing possession of firearms by certain persons and additional warrants tied to violent offenses. On December 15th, 2023, a Missouri deputy approached a pickup truck at a convenience store after concerns involving underage individuals. The driver reversed abruptly and chose to run rather than explain. Thank you. >> Now I see uh 225 up here. 225. I'm backing up a bit for you. SHOTS FIRED. SHOTS FIRED. YOU SHOT AT ME.
