Hi, I'm Eli Arnold. I have a degree in Earth Sciences and now I'm a Portland police officer. I'm officer Bernard. I have a degree in criminology and criminal justice and now I'm a Portland police officer. Hi, my name is Broden Scholl. I have a degree in economics and business and now I'm a Portland police officer. I'm a commercial helicopter pilot. I'm a former Army helicopter pilot. A big thing for me was soccer. I wanted to play soccer at the college level. Um so they I had the ability to do that. >> No, actually I was in mental health for a short period of time. I was what they called a skills trainer. Um and so I was in a school helping kids with developmental disabilities and I'd teach them different life skills. Um so I did that for a short period of time. I always had an interest in police work in general. I didn't quite know it until I was in school um and I had a conversation with my parents. Um and they kind of guided me to applying um and then the rest was history from there. Well, I'm born and raised here in Portland and I was inspired by not only family that's in law enforcement but some of the recruiters that I met along the way before I was hired on were were there for me. I got out of the military wanted to do something different and something more meaningful. And so I moved back to Portland and became a police officer and yeah, I'm just finding a way to do something worthwhile.
