for retail that for the ship. >> Hi there. >> Hello. Do you need to take this stuff? >> Yep. Come with us. >> All right. Thank you. >> These are shoplifterss who were willing to run from the police while wearing the very shoes they had stolen or who stole $6,000 in just 2 hours due to life pressure. But in this video, there were even more extreme thieves than that. >> Are you kidding me right now? >> Do it again. >> You better stop. >> I'll let it I'll do it again. You better not. >> Watch the consequences they face in today's video. Shoplifterss caught stealing an entire cart full from Walmart. We are This is Law. Don't forget to like and subscribe. Beginning with this thief exhibiting bizarre behavior. >> She grabbed all of them and just like she and then just just ditch it on the shelf. >> Where's your ID? >> I don't have one. I prefer not to have one. This is the end of days. >> On the 9th of March 2025, police received a report from Walmart about a woman engaging in shoplifting at the location. And it was known that her actions did not stop there. Right when arriving at the scene, the police worked with staff to examine everything in detail through camera. A nasty one. >> Yeah. She's been grabbing like uh cans of like spray deodorant and she's been like she sprayed herself. God damn it. Yeah, there's a messy one. >> Yeah, I saw you walking behind. I was like, "Oh, is he here for her?" Then I looked outside and I didn't see her. I was like, "Oh, I think he's probably here shopping." >> No, I was uh I was just asking where the arts and craft was and then I seen her. I was like, "Oh, okay." >> She's washed cloth and wiped her ass [clears throat] with the cloth. >> Uh no, like we have we saw like these little squares of uh fabric cloth over here and the arts and crafts area and she grabbed all over them and just go like >> Did she come and then just just ditch it on the shelf? Did she come in with anyone or >> No. No. Okay. Cuz it seems like she's like trying to talk to someone. >> Uh I've been watching her for probably about 20 minutes now. I haven't seen her talk to anybody. >> She's talking to herself right now, >> probably. That's what I'm guessing. >> Uh she has like a little the toothbrush case. >> They like little travel cases. And she took a toothbrush out of a case and put it in the little carrier. >> And so far the only she ripped off tags for two of the stuffed animals. So then she also put stuff in like her pants. >> No, no, she like she like sprayed it in her pants. >> Oh, sprayed it. >> Yeah. E body spray. >> Even worse. >> Body spray. >> Yeah, it's body. It's got to be body spray or something. >> Yeah, it's like just like a spray deodorant. >> Freshening up to go on a date, I guess. >> From what was observed on the camera, the woman appeared calm as if she believed her actions would go unnoticed and that she would not be caught stealing. However, as soon as she attempted to leave, she was caught off guard. HUH? >> Hi there. >> Hello. Do you need to take this stuff? >> Yep. Come with us. >> All right. Thank you. >> Go with the officer. >> Y kill me. >> Okay. Oh, they got her. >> This cop is going to get beat and the star to death now. >> She told me right now that if I stopped her, she was going to kill me. >> Okay. >> Yeah, cuz I am. >> Okay. Let's keep adding charges. >> Okay. >> Thank you. Thank you. You're welcome. >> All right. 223. >> Even though she had been caught red-handed with a full cart of stolen goods, she remained calm as if she fully understood what was happening. Even throughout the walk of shame, she showed no visible sign of remorse at all. >> What's your name? >> Adriana Pval. Maybe Mendoza without the Rebecca cuz I'm not a >> Where's your ID? >> I don't have one. I prefer not to have one cuz it's the end of days cuz it doesn't matter. Anything on your person I need to know about? Anything that's going to poke me, stick me, hurt me? Knives, guns, hand grenades? What's your name, ma'am? >> 16161. >> You want to take that to them, bro? See if focus our scanning. >> Okay. To the to where we were at? Yeah. You mind if I go in your pockets? You want to search you? been through it, dude. >> Well, she's under arrest anyway, but she didn't arrest me. >> Yeah, dude. Go through it. >> In reality, she was not in a stable state at all, which only made the situation worse. And her later strange statements further confirmed that. >> I wanted to pay extra cuz I own everything. >> Dude, I was a [ __ ] I was a parrot. There's nothing that >> Where do you live, Adriana? >> No way. I like to go casual my brother home. I'll >> go on the dirt. That's he doesn't want to marry me. Fine. I'll just take his body. >> Have a seat. >> So, you are under arrest right now for shoplifting. >> All right. Thank you. Adriana is showing a different date of birth showing a different name associated to the date he gave me. >> Finally, the woman named Adriana Puo was charged with retail theft. Unstable behavior during or after an arrest can significantly escalate a situation and make it harder for law enforcement to assess intent or ensure safety. Worse still, this pregnant nurse only pushed herself into an even more disastrous situation. >> I can get hemorrhoids. I'm not sitting on the couch. I'm not sitting on my >> No. Let me go. >> I have all of them. >> On the 30th of May 2025, police were dispatched to a store after reports revealed that a woman had attempted to steal over $700 worth of merchandise and assaulted an employee. When officers arrived at the scene, staff members and multiple witnesses immediately gave statements describing the chaotic incident. >> She also had a lingerie set tucked down the back of her pants. Um claiming it was a pad because she pissed herself earlier today cuz she's pregnant. She came back here and tried to grab all the stuff off the ground and just walk out with it. We wouldn't let her do it. So, she got pissed off and hit me in the face over here twice. >> She hurt me a couple times >> and then tried to mow him down in our parking lot. >> Hit myself. Yeah, almost. >> I went outside with her. She She I tried to take I got a picture of the back of the car, but it's not clear. >> We have a name and phone number as well. >> Okay. How'd you get this? >> Uh, she gave it to us. [laughter] >> She gave it to us. >> Trying to have us sponsor a baby shower that she's throwing. [laughter] >> I know. I know. That's what we said. >> Wow. So, we just came out. >> Yeah. Y'all came. Y'all came [laughter] in. >> Welcome to Hustler. On the other side, the suspect's vehicle was pulled over after she recklessly cut across four lanes on the highway. But it quickly became clear that handling the situation would be far from simple. >> Hello, ma'am. My officer cried. >> Okay. What' I do? >> Uh, you're using a staff unit. You got a improper lane change or >> I kept my car for 20 seconds. >> Yeah. >> I'm nervous. Can I finish your leg? >> Here's a uh No, here's I'm a heavy dude. >> Okay. >> Move up. >> Can I get to the love store, please? >> What's that? the love store. >> The officer agreed to let the woman pull into a location of her choice. But moments later, she suddenly ran inside the store, making the situation even more chaotic. >> Debiana, stay out here. Stay out here. Stay out here. >> Deiana, come outside. >> I can get a photo. >> You can hold it in for a few minutes. >> No, I'm pregnant. I cannot hold in. I have a small bladder. >> Wait by the car. >> I'm about to be outside. I got my money. No, I have to pee outside. I'm on a pizza. Hey, Siri, follow my finger. >> I have to pee. No, the restroom and come right back out here. >> Excuse me. Go to the restroom. No, >> I'm not touching the restroom. I'm No, I'm going to open the door. No, it's okay. I can pee outside. Do not manhandle me. >> You are not free to go back in this car. >> I'll be back, baby. >> Go ahead and put your phone in your pocket, please. >> No, >> I'm not asking. You push down in your pocket. >> Thank you. Turn around. >> No. Why am I being arrested? Why am I being arrested? >> We will explain that when >> Why am I being arrested? >> Why is she being arrested? >> Why am I being arrested and you haven't already knew my friend and I ain't a nurse? >> 21151. I've done nothing wrong and my daughter's in the car. >> Okay. So, like like I said, now you're going to explain it. >> Okay. She seemed completely unconcerned about how serious and tense the situation had become, forcing the officers to repeatedly explain what was happening to her. >> Because you are a suspect in a lararseny and an assault with a dangerous weapon from earlier tonight. >> I didn't have a weapon and he grabbed me and I have self-defense. >> No, this is from one that there's an assault when you punched the employee earlier. >> He He Okay. >> Yes. >> Let me explain what's happening. >> There's that assault. There's that lar and you drove your car forward towards the other person outside the building. That's a solid danger. >> He literally attacked me. >> That is why you're >> He attacked me. It was self-defense. I need to call my father >> right now. You're going to wait here. >> No. No, I'm not. Let go of me. I need to talk. You need to let go of me. I need to call my father. And I I have a mental and I'm schizophrenic, too. Hey Siri, father. >> Where you going? >> Stop it. >> Where are you going? >> Let me go. That's my daughter back there. Let me go. I am a nurse. You told not to behave LIKE THIS. >> THAT'S Y'ALL have me arrested in front of my daughter. That is bull. Let me get me up. I CANNOT SAY A GIRL. I CAN GET HEMORRHOIDS. >> NO. LET ME the go. I can get hemorrhoids. I'm not sitting on the couch. >> I'm not sitting on my hand. >> No. Let me go. Let me go. >> Let me go. >> Please. >> She clearly knew she was pregnant. And as a nurse, she fully understood how to protect her own health. But her actions ultimately led the situation in a completely different direction. >> Getting off my foot, please. >> No. Let me go. >> Okay. >> You want me off your foot? Are you kidding me right now? You do not me. >> Let me go. >> No. >> Let me go. >> Don't you do it again. >> You better stop. >> Let it I'll do it again. >> You better not >> let me go >> on THE GRASS. >> I'M PREGNANT. I MIGHT lose like batteries or something. Uh that's probably the stuff she stole from earlier. >> Now I steal that. I got love story and it's on camera. And on my back, you're going to jail. I'll pull my >> Do not stop grabbing my equipment. >> Do not bite. >> I'm not buying these for the understand. >> I can't get more painful for you. You've already committed two felonies assaulting police officers. This can get a lot worse. Knock it off. >> I got act like a child. >> I got me. What began as a simple theft case spiraled into something far worse for both herself and her family. And despite her condition, officers still tried to get her medical assistance. But she refused to make anything easier. >> Give me 10 15 years. I'm scoring all your jobs. >> Let me go now. >> Let me go. >> I don't give a and burglary and lenars. I have all of them. Stupid. >> There we go. Calm down, girl. >> No, let me down. >> She was charged with lararseny, assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery on police officers, child endangerment, and driving under the influence of drugs. Her actions showed how quickly a situation can spiral out of control when someone refuses to cooperate and keeps escalating the problem instead of facing the consequences calmly. Next, the woman believed that wearing the stolen shoes made her run faster. >> What's your name? >> Don't lie to me. >> You know what my name is? >> YOUR HAND BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> I'LL GIVE IT BACK TO YOU. I DON'T CARE. I'LL GIVE IT BACK TO I'll go there. >> You want to get taped? >> On the 2nd of July 2025, police responded after receiving reports of a domestic disturbance in the parking lot behind Shoe Carnival involving Lauren. But the situation did not end there. This was what happened when officers approached the woman. >> Cut through the bull crap. Okay, we got a call that said someone like was punching on you. >> I in there. >> I don't know where he's at. >> What's his name? I don't want to taunt people. >> Well, if you don't want to press charges, I mean, that's up to you. >> I don't know where he's at. I don't know if he's in there or not. >> What's his name? >> I'm just going to walk. I don't know what his name is. >> What's your name? >> I don't want to I don't want to get in trouble. >> Okay. >> Timor, I'm with the female half right now. All right. Where's the shoes? He has them. >> He has them. Okay. What's your name? >> Don't lie to me. >> You know my name is >> What's your name? >> Lauren. >> What is it? >> Lauren. >> Lauren? What? >> I just want to leave. >> Is that him right there? >> We're not doing anything wrong. We're not We >> No, but I got First of all, we actually left. We actually left. We actually left. We actually left. We actually left. >> Lauren, >> if it had only been a domestic disturbance, that would be one thing. But the woman had already given a false name. At that point, officers also received reports that the store had missing merchandise. Was this the reason? >> Who Who took the shoes? >> No one took any shoes. >> Okay. >> No one took any shoes. >> Those are brand new shoes. >> I had these shoes when I walked in. >> Okay. Are these the shoes? >> Oh, yeah. No, these were not the shoes. I had these shoes when I walked in 100%. Couple of the video. I bought these shoes >> when >> I bought these shoes. Uh, >> and you said they're sandals. >> On the 23rd. On the 23rd. >> Empty out your backpack. I got to see if there's sandals. >> There's nothing in there. Nothing in there. >> Does he have the sandals? >> There's nothing in there. I'm not trying to do anything wrong. >> Empty out your backpack, Lauren. Nothing much I see. >> You holding anything in there or No. >> No. >> What? >> No. >> There's no drugs in there or nothing? >> I don't do drugs. >> Okay. >> The woman denied that the new shoes on her feet were stolen, but that was hard to believe. Her later actions only made it more certain. >> Stand up. You're being detained for retail theft. Take the backpack off. Stand up, bro. >> Reach out that for a while >> for the ship. >> Oh, Joey. I just had one take. >> No, I don't want them. Take them. I don't want them. You know that's what you're doing. I'm not doing this [ __ ] >> Put your hands behind your back. >> I'm not g. >> Put your hands behind your back now. >> You're physically hurting me. >> I'm done for. >> You're physically hurting me. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> You're physically hurting me. You're physically hurting me. Can you please stop? >> It's about to get worse. Put your hands behind your back. >> I don't want this. >> Put your hands behind your back now. >> Ow. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> I just smashed my head in the concrete. >> Put your hand behind. >> Where's the video? Where's the video cam? >> Put your hand. >> I'm rolling you over so I can get your hand behind your back. >> I don't want this. I >> PUT YOUR HAND BEHIND YOUR BACK. >> I'LL GIVE IT BACK TO YOU. I DON'T CARE. I'll give it back to him. I'll go there. Apologize. >> You want to get tape? >> No. No. I go there. >> Put your hand behind your back. I want to go there. Apologies. I want to go there. Apologize. We can work with that, but right now you're being detained. >> Can I go in there and apologize? I'm sorry. Please >> put your hand behind your back. >> I don't need this. I don't need this. Please stop. >> The woman's pleas at this point were an admission that the shoes were stolen. Of course, those pleas came far too late and everything she continued to say was in vain. >> Take your take your [ __ ] Take your taser. Take your taser. Take it. >> Not my taser. >> Whatever this is behind your back. >> I don't want this. Please. I don't want my I don't want my stuff. Please leave me at least show one detained. >> Can you please I don't want the shoes. I don't want the shoes. I don't want them. I don't want them. >> Stand up. >> I don't want them. I'm sorry. I'm swearing. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Can you take the shoes back? I'm so >> Stand up. It's >> too late now. >> Stand up now. >> Stand up now. >> Can I get my bag? >> I will get you your bag. Stand up. You got a video of her taking the shoes? No. >> Okay. I want him. I don't want them. I don't want them. I don't want them. You can show her custo. I don't want him. I don't want I want to get charged for nothing. I don't want him. >> Been cool with you from the get- go. It would have been a simple ticket. Now you went and made it worse. >> I gave him back the shoes. I gave him back the shoes. That should be a simple ticket. >> No, you didn't. You took off running. You didn't give back. Get in now. >> In the end, Lauren J. Ora was charged with retail theft [music] and resisting a peace officer. Attempting to justify or cling to irrational excuses during an investigation only escalates consequences and leads to additional charges. Worse, this woman [music] had even stolen from her own workplace because it was causing her stress. >> All the while, I don't like supermarket job. >> Mhm. >> Okay. I in the office, but I come here, I can get a job. She was caught because she was um she'd go in and she'd reprint [music] receipts. You can see what she >> on the 18th of April 2025, police had approached a residential area in connection with a refund fraud at Publix and the suspect was believed to be a cashier there who had taken $6,000. This was what happened at the time. >> How are you? >> You Mr. Liberon? >> Yeah. >> Um looking for Sue here. >> Is she here? >> Yeah. >> Okay. You mind if we speak to her? How you doing? >> All right. >> What's going on? >> Doing an investigation. Looking into a few things. Hello, Sue. >> How are you? >> I'm good. Yes. >> You mind speaking to me? >> Yep. >> Okay. Up to you if you want to close the door. Whatever. I'm doing an investigation. >> Can I get shoes? >> Uh, yeah, sure. >> All right. Hello. Yeah, >> I'm Detective Eis uh with the sheriff's office. This is Detective Coleman. >> Uh we're we I've been doing an investigation. I was contacted by Publix. >> Yes. >> You used to work for Publix? >> Yes. >> Okay. All right. You were recently fired. >> Yeah. >> Okay. Um the situation is the investigation um they're looking to press charges. Okay. For the theft and the fraud. >> Yeah. >> Okay. that everything's been spoken about when you were terminated and everything. >> Okay. Um I'd like to speak to you uh talk to you about the whole situation, you know, maybe what came about and why, you know, what was done was done. >> Okay. But um for today um you'll be placed under arrest, okay? And take it with me, but I'd like to talk about it. All right. The woman seemed fairly calm after hearing what the officers said, almost as if she had expected this situation already, but when facing the handcuffs, she still showed her anxiety. >> I'm going to I'm going to place you under arrest. Okay. Um and you're going to come with me. All right. And we're going to go down to the station and I'd like to speak to you about everything. And then from there, you'll be taken down to gun club. >> Gun Club? >> Yeah, it's the jail. Okay. If you fail, >> do you really have to receive? >> Yes. >> Yes. >> Yes. So, >> so I don't I just follow you, but I will not run away. >> No, this this is not how that works. Okay. So, like I said, there the the jewelry I'm going to take off or you can leave it here. Okay. So, I'm going to place you under arrest now. Okay. >> Okay. Go ahead. Go ahead. Go ahead. No, no, no, no. We're not going to go inside. We're not going back inside now. Okay. That's the thing. I have to change. >> No, we're not. We're not going to change any clothing. You can take off the chain. >> I need to wear something properly, please. >> This is perfectly fine. They actually give you a uniform when you get there. >> Yes. >> Okay. It's not about wearing certain attire. I promise. >> No. >> Okay. >> So, how should I How can I My husband build me out or whatever. >> Yes. I'll speak to you about all that and everything, but the thing is >> Can I just comb my hair, do something about it? You're fine. You're fine. I promise you're fine. Okay. >> You're fine. I promise. >> Can you give me my glasses? >> I You can get the glasses. >> I cannot tell you. >> Good afternoon. >> Can I change my shoes? I do not want to wear this one. I just want to put their shoes. >> Yes, we will. We will get the shoes. >> We will take care of everything. I promise. >> If you want, we can step inside. >> For the officers, allowing a suspect to walk out of their sight would have created an easy chance for escape. So, they still had to handcuff her. Shortly after she was taken to the police station where she revealed the motive behind her crime >> maybe about 20 almost 20 years ago. >> Okay. >> So when I first came I just met with my very very good friend childhood friend. >> So I feel like she betray me. That's why I hate Florida is >> okay. >> She I was I I was helping her in the you know when I first came here she have a you know the small store. So I'm helping her on the second day I live in stay in with her. Then she asked me you have to go out and look for a room. >> I just came first time in my life come to America. She feel like not welcoming me. Ask me something like not the chase not in the chase it's something like you know giving me something like u you don't say in my house that you go and look for room or whatever. I said I do not mind but I do not. She just [laughter] throw me a paper asked me to look for room. >> Mhm. >> I said I do not know it's not best way. I said I do [laughter] not know who is your neighbor who how to go from your house also. You asked me to look for a room. I do not know where is it. Right. >> So then finally we settle everything. Then I work in her restaurant for maybe two weeks. So it's a hatred of Florida. I really hate Florida. >> So okay. So, >> so I cannot get actually I work in the office job all at my entire life. Actually, I work in attorney office in Malaysia. >> Mhm. >> Then I come here, I work in the of course it's Chinese company like the home health agency office mean all office not like supermarket nothing all the while I don't like supermarket job. [clears throat] >> Okay. I work in the office but I come here I can get a job. So I have no choice because I don't like to stay at home doing nothing. >> Doing nothing is very boring. So I said I need to get some things to go on. At least I can see others. >> Okay. >> So then I get the job. >> Actually until today I can tell you I don't like supermarket job. I don't like the job. I don't like Florida at all until today. >> Through her story she had faced a lot of pressure as an Asian working in America. Had she tried to release that built-up frustration through stealing? She explained it shortly after. >> Maybe I feel a little bit happy. I can maybe I can say [laughter] that something. I I do not know the right words. Maybe I can feel a little bit happy or whatever because as a even though I told my husband every day I hate Florida. >> Mhm. >> He [clears throat] doesn't want to move back. >> So he said he want to move back. We divorce this and that this and that. Of course he's not threatening me to say he didn't threaten me anything. >> Mhm. that maybe is feel up that I really hate or maybe for me like I'm getting crazy >> for doing that. >> Well, I mean, so again, so you were angry and then you you take the receipt and you get the items >> and then um you would you return them right then? >> Yeah. >> And I get >> it was on your credit card. Uh sometime gift cards. >> Oh, you get gift cards? >> Yeah. >> Okay. But you put it back on your your credit card the for the receipt. >> A few item only. >> A few items. >> Yeah. Okay. Few. [clears throat] >> How many time like how long ago did this start? >> It started maybe March or end of fe end of February. >> Like February, >> not beginning. It could be said that by this point she had fully cooperated and admitted everything. And with additional evidence from the store's loss prevention department, everything became even clearer. >> Do you mind just telling us kind of the synopsis of what occurred and how you guys came about finding and identifying? >> Yep. Uh she was caught because she was um she'd go in and she'd reprint receipts. You can see where she a customer would leave and then she'd go behind the customer. and reprint the receipt of that customer's purchase. >> Okay. >> So, and then she would So, she do the reprint. Here's her getting the reprint. And then she'd go to different stores. >> Okay. >> And she'd go and she'd find those items on those receipts. >> Right. So, this is her in the store. >> This is her at Yeah. at a store, another store. 1749. and she would go through and look for what's on the receipts. She would select what's on the receipts and then she would um put them in a bag and uh and steal that product that's on those receipts. So, she put them in the in the Publix bags. >> So, she wouldn't pay for them while she was there. She'd walk out? >> Yeah. She would she would walk straight out the what she stole. >> Okay. And then she'd go to other stores in the area and she'd use those. That's her right there. She'd use those receipts. >> Okay. >> And she would do refunds and then she put those refunds on her personal credit card. So, what caused the in what was on the investigation was that our corporate uh there was a there's a program that's able to search for certain things and it saw where there was one credit card that got a significant amount of refunds uh like multiple throughout like a full day. So, the investigation started. In the end, the suspect was charged with organized retail theft, fraud, and illegal refund schemes involving more than $6,900 in stolen merchandise from Publix. Desperation and frustration never justified stealing because repeated dishonest choices would always destroy trust and eventually lead to serious consequences. Next, this employee shocked everyone after being caught stealing an even larger amount of money. >> All right, Lincoln, do me a favor. Put your hands behind your back. Just put your hands behind your back. >> Be detained right now. >> To have plans with my wife to bake something tonight and relax at home. >> Might actually be out tonight or tomorrow. >> On the 30th of January 2026, police received a report from a Fifth Third Bank about an employee accused of stealing from the bank. The suspect was allegedly a man who had secretly pocketed cash for himself multiple times. And once officers arrived on scene, a plan to detain him was immediately set into motion. >> I'm doing all right. How are you? >> Hey, Stephanie. Oh, this is the guy we're looking for. Not he's our >> P. She called me then. >> Yeah, I was just on the phone with her. So, where is he located right in the back? >> Okay. He has no idea. >> Uh, the police here. You're on speaker, by the way. >> He's walking out of the office right now from the back. >> What's he wearing? >> You see right now? >> Okay. Hello. >> All right, Lincoln, do me a favor. >> Put your hands behind your back. >> Just put your hands behind your back. >> Detained right now. >> All right. Can I Can I just lock your fingers? >> Just Just let's do this part and then we'll be able to talk. Okay. >> No, what I'm saying I'm hopic. >> Okay. >> Okay. >> Can I have this done, please? >> Okay. We We've So, right now you're being detained. That's That's all that's happening right now. >> Mhm. Can I get my phone out locker, please? Not not right right this minute. But >> let's go for this. >> Right after the suspect was detained, one of the officers returned to speak with the bank representative where the full story behind the man's thefts finally started to become much clearer. >> So, um I know my partner was kind of briefed already on what's going on, but can you just break down for me what what exactly happened? What's what's going on? >> Steph, I'm going to take the in the vault so we can talk about this. We won't be program. Okay. Officer. >> Hi. Sorry. So, my name is Officer Roberto with Lincoln Letman came on my radar. We were notified that there was a customer discrepancy of a deposit that he didn't report in his balance sheet in the amount of $265. So, I was investigating it and I saw him on surveillance um take a stack of loose cash out of his drawer and um it disappeared as he went on camera. By that point, his teller drawer had already been put away. All the other money was secured and it was just this stack of loose cash that he had. Um, so I interviewed him today based on believing that there's theft in this. He confessed that this did happen last Tuesday. He stole $265. And then he said within the last month, there was three other occasions that he had stole money that he believes to be $4,000. So, the man had already confessed to the thefts, which was why he stayed calm while being handcuffed. After allegedly stealing around $16,000, he finally began showing regret for his actions. >> Never ever touched a money in the world, any penny. He's just an overage that I got. And that's what I took. That's it. >> I'm very, very, very ashamed and regretful of this. That's my job last year, January 18th. Now, it seems I'm going to lose my job this year. So the bind I was in because of that loss of job. >> Now what I did put me in a lot >> a greater and a deeper bind. >> Yeah. Put you in a little bit of trouble, man. I agree. >> Got by police and the police say, "Why are your windows down? Oh, I know my rights. I know my this." I'm like, "Sometimes that's really called for." I would say most of the time it's uncalled for. You know, I will say every now and then >> if you actually know your rights like that is like amazing. >> No, no. My god, man. I don't think there would be quite probably something may think about doing. >> But what about withdrawing on it? >> From all I know from a bank side, bank perspective as a customer, we haven't decided to do anything with that. As far as employee, the bank has decided to separate your employment, right? The bank. Yeah. Um and then you know right now I haven't heard anything about your personal bank relationship. I know you have personal relationships with some of the folks here. So how do you handle those or just >> outside of the banking? >> Okay. And at the scene, one of them admitted to the act. >> Where you from? >> Uh like >> what country? >> Originally from India, but living in Australia at the moment. >> Australia? >> Yeah. >> So you do that in Australia? >> Uh >> did you did you ever do that in Australia? >> Just take stuff without paying for anything? >> No. >> Okay. So if you don't if you don't do that over there, what makes you think he's here? It doesn't make sense, right? >> Should. >> Yeah. >> Okay, let's head back. >> So, you've been here less than a month. >> Yes. >> And you're pulling stuff like this? >> That's not a good start to your stay here in the United States. >> I don't think it is. Do you have a Is there a third person with you >> other than you and the young lady in the office? >> Yeah, sister. Your sister's here in Walmart? >> Yeah. >> Where is she at? >> No idea. >> You don't know? >> Immediately afterward, police quickly located another suspect and promptly escorted her into the loss prevention office at Walmart. Take a seat. >> Hold on. Hold on. >> You can decide it. >> Stand out here with both of them. I'm going to interview the other one first. >> Okay. >> You guys have IDs? >> Not the path for you. >> Okay. So did you explain a little bit what was what happened to the other officer? >> Yes. >> Okay. >> That was not like something not planned. We just have to give to somebody as a gift. That what we stolen as a stuff. Not nothing else. We just we just have to give somebody as a gift some chocolates and something. So that's why we just stolen. That's just some of the salt of money. So nothing else we just got. I I understand but you got to keep this in mind. Yeah, I know. But I >> a gift >> is going to be given to somebody from you, not from another person. >> That's what that's what you guys are trying to be doing. >> Absolutely. Really paid. I'm really really sorry about that. >> Both individuals laughed as they admitted their crimes as if it were nothing serious at all, forcing the officers to spell out the consequences they could potentially face. >> At the end of the day, >> it's still a crime. You guys understand it, right? >> Okay. The worst that could happen, >> you guys go to jail. >> The best that could happen is that you guys are just cold and we go from there. >> I wasn't trying to >> put him on the table for me and switch. I'm going to talk to man. So yeah, the worst that could potentially happen, again, like I said, it's either jail time, you might spend maybe a day or two, >> but the best that could happen is you guys go home and then you guys have, you know, a port date. >> How long have you been here in the United States? >> Two and a half years. >> Two and a half years. Is this the first time you've ever been in trouble? >> I I don't buy this much. I'm normally buying $30. I have all the time, you know, 30 minutes. >> You have not to explain yourself, but it's okay. How long are you going to be here? >> Well, they wait up till tomorrow. >> It's tomorrow. >> Tomorrow's your last day? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, you're flying back. >> All right. You guys seem like it's just a lapse of judgment, right? So, that's a thing. And it's unfortunate. I get it. But is it worth it? >> Right. It's >> not a lapse of judgment. It's $397. I don't mind that. >> So, $397. That's a lot of stuff. >> You've never been in trouble with law enforcement? Is that correct? >> No. >> No, you haven't. Or yes, you have. >> Have you been in trouble >> like this? >> Yes. >> No, I don't. >> Okay. Have you been in trouble in general? >> No. >> No. >> So, hopefully that should help a little bit. But I'm not in charge. >> I'm not in charge. Just so you know, okay? I'm not in charge. >> Just keep that in mind. I'm not in charge. >> As for the woman in the pink dress, officers evaluated the specific circumstances of the incident, and she ended up with a separate outcome from the other two. >> Right now, you take their stuff. You're going to have to bring money, bail them out, and then they can go home and they'll give the the court and the correction side will give you guys instructions as far as what they need to do with the charges and then yours will come in the mail later. Okay. Any questions for me? >> So, I'm waiting for the call on them. >> You they'll give you a call. When they're when they're ready to be picked up, they'll call you from the jail. I have your number and I'll give it to them >> from for for today. >> I already told you 10 times. I don't know when. It doesn't matter when they were leaving because you guys decided to do your your commit your crime. So, the crime the plane isn't going to stop because you guys decided you wanted to steal and then they've been arrested. Your plane if they miss it, they miss it. that that's it is what it is. You have to reschedule it. Okay? So, you can leave and they're not trespassing you or anything like that. Just pay attention for that. Okay? >> Trespass me. >> No, you're not trespassed. You're not trespassed. But what I'm saying is you can now grab your stuff and go. I'm going to deal with them. Have a good day. Go ahead. >> Yeah, she got the keys. So what he was doing was he was >> was it like 5,000 the first time and 15k the last next time. Right. >> Yeah. >> And then um we started pulling up the surveillance tapes and we noticed like during his shift he starts like stealing stuff like crates of like merchandise, foods, drinks and everything. And then he goes like under the pretense of throwing away trash and then he stops by his car cuz it's reverse parked right there and pops up in a truck and dumps everything into the trunk. Last Wednesday when we met with you and Officer Lopez, we camped out the whole night. We were watching the thing live and he did steal headphones and drinks and stuff then, but he didn't do the uh trunk dumper. >> Um and then Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, he doesn't work. We'll do all the talking and whatnot. >> Um once we have them secure, then you guys come over here or go over there and then we can start tallying the expenses that have been acrewed >> from what he was taken and placed in his car. Police confirmed that all of the suspect's actions were real. They then entered the store to arrest him, but things quickly spiraled out of control. >> Every time I go that way, is that a problem? >> No, there's a homeless guy in a bag. I didn't I just want to shut down. N that's >> over there. What's wrong? No. No. No. Tell me. Tell me what's wrong. What's wrong? >> What's wrong? Relax. Relax. >> No. Tell me what I do. Police struggled for a long time before finally managing to handcuff the suspect. Once officers explained why this was happening, it was safe to say his arrogance completely collapsed. >> I'd like to know what I'm being arrested for. That's all I That's all I've been asking. >> Having these rights in mind, you wish to talk to me now? >> Yes. >> Okay, here's the deal. Okay, >> ask your question. All right. Okay, I tell you what I saw. All right, you got two crates, one stop, one stacked top of the other. All right, while you were doing that, you put stuff in the crate. You also went from behind the store towards front of the store, grabbed something else, put those prints back there, whatever drinks you had in your hand, put it in the crate. with that crate. Put that crate came outside, put that stuff that contents of the crate as well as the crate in your trunk. Okay? And also apparently there have been several instances in which you've done it where their house will have camera footage to do in it too. >> So you need to be honest with me. >> Why or why did you take the stuff from back of the store, put it in a crate, put it in your trunk? >> Listen, I'll stop talking right here. >> Stop talking. >> Yeah. >> Okay. I'm not going to ask you again. >> Thank you. >> Can you call the 108 over here? >> With every word from the police, he regretted his actions a little more. Moments later, the stolen items in his car were also recovered. >> Goodies. >> Oh, yeah. >> Goodies. Oh, it's like almost like the stuff that he took out of the store. How about that one? >> No, it was all we saw was this one from the security. >> That one was already in here from the security >> camp last time. >> Yeah, this one is the one he took from the back. >> Oh, he's already over here. >> Huh? >> Why you said something about having a come over? He's not resisting or anything or using force or >> in reality. The suspect showed no shame for what he had done and he even admitted it himself while being escorted away. >> That's all right. >> Is it okay if I scoot right here in the middle so I can get some more here please? >> Oh yeah. >> All right. Excuse me. Officer, I just want to talk with you about something. Oh, I was just asking, man. How bad is this looking for? I won't have to go before a judge to get a bond. >> I have no shame, man. Y'all can just y'all can just say it. >> The man was charged with petty theft, resisting an officer without violence, and violation of probation. Let this be a lesson that stealing and refusing to cooperate with police will only turn a bad decision into even harsher consequences. Next, the woman delusionally imagined herself as Elsa, singing, "Let me go. >> Let me go. Let me go. >> Stop. >> Let me go. Let me go. >> Stop. Let me go. Take your ass back to hometown. YOU'RE NOT A COP. Real cops are watching you right now. >> I'm a real cop. >> On September 10th, 2024, police stopped a woman for allegedly stealing several items from Walgreens. From the very first moments of contact, the woman showed clear irritation and refused to cooperate. >> You're not a cop. Do not put your hand. Do not put your hand on. >> Stop. Stop. >> Don't put your hands on me. Let go. Let me go. Let me go. >> Stop. >> Let me go. >> Let me go. >> Stop. >> Let me go. >> I will let you go. >> Let me go. >> Listen and comply. >> Before I make a big deal out of this, let me go. >> Let me go because you're not a cop. >> Okay. >> You're not a real cop. So, let me go. >> Do you have an ID? >> Oh, you had my ID already. >> I do not have doing it already. >> You have >> Let me go because my hand is already hurt. You guys put the needle in my thing. >> Stop. >> Let me go then. >> Let me go. >> I'm not because you continue to walk away from it. >> Let me go. >> Stop. >> You're putting your hands on me for >> I am putting you on your hands. My I am putting my hands on your bag. >> You know what? >> I'm going to call a lawyer for this. >> That's fine. Let me get you the bag. >> For what? >> Because you were in Walgreens steak and stuff. It's none of your business. >> It is our business. >> No, it's not. And I'm not on Wall Street's property right now. So, you cannot touch me right now. You have to do you know how many people are watching you. I don't care. >> You know how many cameras are watching you? >> Do you listen? You're right. Are you >> serious? You're not a real cop. >> Okay. >> You're not a real cop. >> Listen, you're going to go from probably just giving them their stuff back to going to jail. >> I'm proud to say that. You're not a cop. >> Okay. The woman resisted by deliluding herself into believing she was right, even claiming that the police were not real. She even believed she could judge the officer's actions in an irrational way. >> Let me go because this is the biggest mistake you're going to make of all your life. The timing is on timing is on. You know why? pick up everywhere. Like look, you know that. So you're wasting your time. >> You're wasting your time. This is special. >> Let me go. Let me go. Let me go because >> my cold >> Let me go. Get your hands off of me right now. You're the biggest mistake you're going to make of your life. That's timing is on, >> Angelica. The timing is on. Get your hands off of me. Get your hands off the pain. >> Get your hands off of me. >> Get your hands off of me. >> All right. Now, relax. Relax. >> Being recorded. >> Okay. You were being recorded by us as well. Okay. >> You're not a real cop. Are youing kidding me? >> Realing joke. You know that. >> Relax. >> You're not a real cop. Oh god. >> Take your ass back to hometown cuz you're not a cop. >> Real cops are watching it right now. >> I'm a real cop. >> The woman blurted out everything she was thinking uncontrollably. And at that moment, she had already partially admitted to her actions. >> Well, you should. Oh, because you took the money out of my lane card. That's why I have to steal. Because you took the money out of my lane card. You know why? Because you me everying time I go to the store and get something and buy something. You take the money out of my link because you can. You know why? Because you killed everybody in the store that owns it. You know why? Because you think you want to own the store. >> She's got a hospital. >> Yes, I do. And everybody knows where I'm at and what I'm doing. And everybody is watching right now. The wholeing world is watching me. Did you see your own ancestor? >> She was crossing. >> Okay. Cuz I I I drove by about to turn in and I saw your light. So you know, right? Yeah. I saw your lights. I turned around and I saw I'm like, "Okay, >> I'm not on this property anymore. You >> It doesn't It doesn't matter. >> Yes, it does matter. It does matter. >> It matters when I'm in the store. Not when I'm out here. >> I got to leave this for a final sale point of purchase. >> I'm at the bus stop already. Okay. You cannot touch me." Her argument was that she was no longer in the Walgreens area, so they couldn't arrest her. But despite her confusion, police quickly recovered the allegedly stolen merchandise. >> Tell me, you guys tell me. Tell me it's a lie. Tell me that's like >> food. Food is not a reason to arrest somebody. >> There's another reason. >> Yeah, I drink them obviously. Um >> yeah, I'll bring this. >> I can I can I can get that from anywhere else. It doesn't matter. This if you think that this is not because I can get it from anywhere else or I can drink water from a home from anywhere else. >> Yeah. Oh, that's it. My mom does. >> Okay. know that your mom can go to court and dismiss the charges. Okay. >> Oh, you would? But you guys everybody in the court system, remember? >> Oh, your hand is shaking. So, you're guilty. >> Not shaking. Your >> hand is shaking. And I'm shaking because you guys are >> take medication for anything? >> No, I don't. I don't need to. >> Sure. >> You guys do. >> The woman showed no sense of guilt, even attempting to plead for leniency. Yet the reasons she offered for her plea seemed far from credible. >> And and the and the public aid office too knows why. Because everybody that's supposed to work there is just like just like the people in the court system, just like the county, just like the hospital, just like the Just like the doctors, just like the nurses, the ones that you guys don't want to take the pain for. You remember how much pain you're going to be in in your head once I make that happen. So please let me go and let me go about my day and give you my back. >> The thing that keeps going through my head right now is that so in your in your >> is that I'm sober and that I don't give a about what what's going to happen from this point on because I'm sober. >> Are you sure you don't take medication for? >> Please take you want to take medication. >> I'm very happy that you are sober. >> Question, >> but I know you're not going to take the right deal. What did you use? >> You're going to take me to your hometown because that's the place where you guys belong. >> What did you used to use before you were sober? Was it alcohol or anything like that? >> I'm sober. I don't take drugs. >> Oh, you've always been sober. >> Oh, look. Some came out of your room because I don't take drugs, honey. >> So, so you've always been sober? >> Yes. >> I don't I don't smoke. I don't smoke. I hate smoking. I hate smokers. >> I I hate smoking, too. It's disgusting. It stinks. It makes people breast stink. Makes your clothes stink. >> People's hands people hands stink. Like if you shake their hands, they are smoker. Then your hand smells like smoke. >> It's It's terrible. >> 352. >> In the end, she was charged with shoplifting, resisting arrest, and hindering law enforcement. Refusing to take responsibility only worsens the outcome denial and excuses turn minor offenses into serious legal trouble. Worse, the more this woman tried to hide evidence, the more her shoplifting appeared [music] professional. >> And you provided in items that were not paid for on your person. >> Yes, I have. >> Okay. On the 28th of November 2025, police approached a woman who had just exited the Best Buy store due to suspicion that she was involved in a theft at the store. She did not appear surprised by the presence of the officers. >> All right, let's go talk inside real quick. >> You want to go to uh LP's office? >> Want to go to your office? >> Yeah. >> All right. Come on. Let's go. road 180 roadotion and left entry >> just real quick. >> Sure. >> You guys got to check it first. >> Yeah, go ahead. >> Just looking for weapons. >> Weapons or anything? >> No. >> I don't even remember. In her bag, Nintendo Switch Joy-Con boxes were found neatly arranged. Yet, she tried to claim she did not remember, even though she knew everything. And at this point, she was forced to state the motive behind her actions. >> I was just trying to do something so I can try to make some money and pay for my dog. I swear it was so stupid. But I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't have that kind of money. Are there any weapons on your person? >> No. No. No. >> What's on your person that we should be worried about? >> Nothing. Just this. >> Take it. I have no idea. >> They're $99. >> A piece. >> Yeah. >> I don't even know what that is. And do you know how much >> the stolen goods were valued at over $2,000? She appeared tearful and remorseful, but no real tears were seen, and she oddly seemed eager to go to jail quickly. >> Do you understand what I'm saying? So when we asked you about, did you drive here? And that's the way to start being honest. We could start actually talking about some stuff. >> Just take me to jail. That's what you're going to do. So, just take me, please, because I feel like I'm really going to be sick. >> Okay. Ultimately, we are going to end up going to jail. >> I know. >> Um, and I'm going to be honest. We do know that you drove your car here. Your car is in the parking lot. >> And we do know you were in the store earlier. >> It's not going to change the fact whether you go to jail or not, but I do know you were in the store earlier doing the same thing before you were stopped this afternoon. I can't I was in here and I went out to get my water. >> Okay. >> Because I You can see I'm >> This was earlier in the day and then you returned. >> No. Right. No, no, no. >> Okay. >> I went right out, got my water, and came back in. >> Okay. >> I didn't go somewhere and come back. >> Okay. >> Is there anything in the car? >> No. Is the car paid off? >> Yes. >> Okay. So, >> ultimately, and I'm I'm going to be honest with you. I just came from investigations. I've been off the road for quite some time. But ultimately, what I would do is your car was going to be used in a crime. We do know that you went to from the store after stealing other items and went to your car. That car is a a tool used to transport stolen items. So, what I can do, I can seize your car. I don't want to do that to you, but I much rather you be honest. >> It turned out her eagerness to go to jail was to avoid further investigation of her vehicle containing stolen goods, suggesting theft was not due to hardship, but that it was her line of work. Her reluctance to allow a search of the vehicle reinforced that. >> My car, >> Miss K, this is not what I'm getting at. I don't want to do that, but I much rather leave it here properly parked and locked, but I'm asking you, are there items? And if not, are you giving it can you give us consent to look inside the car to see if there's any more items that you may have placed inside >> that? >> Because there's two different avenues we can go and honestly is going to help you here because you're already getting arrested for this. Just take me to jail. Please just take me to jail. So, your friend drove, but you have access to this car or the keys in your possession. >> Yeah. >> Okay. And so, at one point, you enter entered the store prior to making contact with law enforcement and then you re-exited the store to go get your water from your car. >> Okay. Wait, so explain that again. I >> earlier today before you made contact with us, you entered the store >> and then you left to go back to your car to get your water, >> right? >> Okay. So, you had ways to enter your car. >> Yes. And then you said you got your water, you came back inside, and then that's when all this kind of transpired. And then that's when you got stopped. >> Shortly after, police searched her vehicle. If you were wondering about the initial hall valued at over $2,000, this was the remaining part. >> Info 865 info. >> Oh god. Is this from here? >> I have no idea. >> I think we need to take it under this. >> She definitely has a lot of bags. As if this is what she does. >> Oh, yeah. >> I don't know if the other stuff's involved. >> Yeah, I can take one. That stuff I can't verify. It doesn't look right. It doesn't It looks like suck. >> This is all together. >> All this stuff was >> So there's like a list of like places to go steal and stuff. Love it. Some's in our city, some's not. >> Here's the uh the rest of the stuff. >> How many is over there? That's the list. >> Um spots. >> It's definitely over. Uh >> that's all of it. >> Yep. There's one over there. >> Holy [ __ ] >> And you guys can look over the list. There's lists from like your store and there's like other there's other stuff that we can't confirm is stolen, but we think it's stolen. >> This was in her car. Oh, so Melbourne. >> In the end, the woman was charged with grand theft over $2,000. She learned that trying to minimize or conceal evidence only deepened the consequences and cooperation from the start could have reduced the severity of the outcome.
