Hi, I'm Mayor Mark Freeman. Creating safe and connected neighborhoods takes all of us working together. That's why I'd like to invite you to participate in gain getting Arizona involved neighborhoods. This is your chance to step outside and meet people who live around you and strengthen our community. And this is what makes Mesa such a great place to live. Gain is an annual event that promotes community involvement and engagement. There'll be gate events across the city of all sizes, and how you spend your game night is entirely up to you. >> I've attended block parties for years, and it could be something simple like uh a potluck, a coffee get together in somebody's driveway, just gathering together. But what matters most is building connections. Here in Mesa, we've been hosting Gain as a cooler alternative to National Night Out. Together, we can transform our neighborhoods into caring and safer places to live. visit our website and register your party so you can let all city departments know and hopefully we can stop by to see you. >> So I would encourage you to find out what works best for you in your neighborhood. Let's keep Mesa safe and strong. >> Having a good neighbor >> is one of the most effective crime fighting tools that we have. I hope to see as many of you out there on gay night as possible as we work together to continue to keep Mesa one of the safest major cities in the United States.
