[Applause] [Music] I'm Sergeant Walkington with the Mesa Police Basic Training Academy. Today, the recruits are participating in traffic stop training. Recruits are taught that there is no such thing as a routine traffic stop. Every single traffic stop has the potential of escalating into a high-risisk situation. Recruits are taught to remain professional and courteous, but also vigilant at the same time. [Music]
