[Music] turkey for tickets is all about a positive interaction with the community so i was reading an article about an agency in the midwest where they had done turkeys for tickets and the premise of it is a violator or a driver that was pulled over for a minor traffic infraction instead of issue being issued a ticket he'd be given a warning and also a turkey [Applause] [Music] instead of giving you a citation for the civil traffic violation can offer you a turkey please i would love it is that cool let me give you your driver's license back you're gonna be okay it's a good-sized turkey man my commander had to go out and search for those darn things they were hard to find i'd like to give you a turkey would that be okay okay absolutely and i'm gonna give you a big one um so this is on behalf of the mesa police department um nice so i know you haven't gotten them yet um no so i have a choice i can give write you a ticket or i can give you a turkey i'll take a turkey we'll take a turkey [Music] this is a huge shock and i'm just very thankful for the police force and i don't think the police force gets enough credit for all that they do regardless of pulling me over or not i'm very thankful for them out here thank you for protecting us um may god watch over you and protect you for protecting us thank you for serving our community you guys are doing a great job and keep doing what you're doing [Music] you
