I did just see a lot of girls running that way, but >> they they had a colorful bonnet on an Amazon Prime jacket. >> No. On the 22nd of April 2026, police officers approached a woman walking down the street because she completely matched the description of a shoplifting suspect from a Walgreens store earlier that day. This was what happened next. >> Hi, how you doing? >> What's up? >> Where you coming from? >> Me right here around the corner from my friend house. Trying to get on this boat. >> You hang out with her for >> Okay. for that stuff in the description. Okay. >> Okay. What happened? >> Where where you coming from? >> My friend house. Yeah, they had Walgreens bags. A bunch of them. >> Okay. How you doing? >> I ain't do nothing. Well, I do. I ain't do nothing. >> That's fine with those females with you. >> No, I went with those videos. I just came from around the corner. Just >> I don't know if you're going to go with us. Okay. You're just being detained. >> Okay. Cuz I ain't do nothing. >> Description. Okay. I ain't going to lie to you. I did just see a lot of girls running that way. But >> but they they had a colorful bonnet on an Amazon Prime jacket. >> No. See, I ain't >> Okay. Well, that's the description we were given. Okay. >> Okay. Well, I ain't got nothing. I didn't been in no stores and none of that. If you were a police officer, handcuffing the suspect immediately would have been unavoidable after learning she had fled before, especially when her story could not be verified and she did not even have an ID. >> I don't have anything on you. Got >> an ID on you? >> No. See, I'm naked. I don't even have nothing. >> Oh, you got >> Yeah. >> Did you drop a bag somewhere? Over here somewhere? >> No, I didn't. >> Did you pass one off to somebody else? >> No. >> All right. Well, they're going to check because there's cameras everywhere, right? >> Okay. Well, I don't got nothing to do with nothing. >> Okay. Hello. What's your name, man? >> Which one is >> from 50? You got her, >> huh? >> What's What's the name? >> You said she first. >> I'm lying. >> That's why I said that. >> Okay. So, spell it for me. nothing on me. That's what I'm saying. I don't got nothing to do with nothing around here. I did just see some girls over here. One of them did just ask me. >> Annette, one of them did just ask me cuz she used my cell phone and I said no. And I walked right here to the bus stop. >> Why are they telling me that you stole stuff? >> I didn't steal nothing. I'm telling you, I didn't steal anything. I promise. >> Watch your cameras. There's nothing. No, I don't got anything. I didn't steal anything. I don't got nothing. I promise you I don't got nothing. If I had something, y'all would have just caught me with it. If If I stole some liquor, y'all look at that. >> Can I sit down? >> I'm going to sit down. I ain't steal no damn liquor. As a shoplifter, ditching the stolen items and claiming to have nothing might seem like an easy way to avoid trouble. But you should also watch your words when the police had not even mentioned the store yet because constantly bringing it up only made you look more suspicious. Why the [ __ ] police got me on 90 talking about I walked out. I ain't even been by no [ __ ] Walgreens talking about I've been by Walgreens. I walked out with a case of liquor. They said I don't [ __ ] >> say nothing. Walgreens said it. >> Well, Walgreens. Well, I'm not the person then. [ __ ] I can't have no police contact. I'm on parole. I'm not trying to get in no truck for >> you on parole for >> for um a petty robber. It was like a little robbery case, you know, back then. >> Yeah. >> But I've been, you know, been on parole for a nice little minute for When did uh that happen? >> This happened 2025. >> 2025. >> Mhm. >> But I had did a year on arm electronic monitoring >> and I'm doing good. That's all I >> How much longer you got on it? >> Huh? >> How much longer you got on it? >> Oh, I get off August 5th. >> Okay. So this was not her first time dealing with police. She believed they could not arrest her without the stolen items as evidence, but the officers quickly proved her wrong. Go to jail if we find the proceeds or not. People get arrested all the time for retails and we don't find the stuff. >> Don't got nothing though. What is being arrested for? >> You walked out the store with me. That's all that matters. >> Okay. So what is going on? Okay. Can I know what I'm being charged for? >> Retail. >> I'm not okay. So I'm getting let go from the station or whatever. You go sit in the car for now. >> Okay. Well, can I can you let them know so he can know? >> What's your decision? >> OKAY. BUT I'M SAYING I don't have anything. >> It doesn't matter. It doesn't mean anything. >> They watched you walk out of the store with the stuff. YOU'RE ON CAMERA. >> GOT THE [laughter] CAMERA. >> IT'S ON CAMERA. >> OKAY. Can you call the white shirt? You don't need a white shirt. I didn't take anything. >> No, I DIDN'T. I TOOK SOMETHING AND I JUST CAME FROM DOING >> cameras and witnesses telling the other >> The woman refused to admit her actions and even started using her so-called civil rights to make everything more difficult. >> Can I have a white shirt? >> You don't need a white shirt. >> I HAVE A BULLET IN MY BACK. YOU CANNOT DEAL WITH ME LIKE THAT. YOU CANNOT DEAL WITH ME LIKE THAT IN THE CAR. >> OKAY. CAN CAN I HAVE A WHITE SHIRT? >> YOU DON'T NEED A WHITE SHIRT. OKAY. OKAY. I'm asking you, am I going to get LET GO FROM THE STATION BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE >> WE CAN'T GET TO THE STATION. YOU'RE NOT TELLING [screaming] ME TO STATION. >> WHAT THE [ __ ] YOU JUST GOING TO LOCK UP THE >> STATION FOR retail theft? I can't. >> I'M ON PAROLE. HOW? >> I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU. >> IF YOU DON'T GOT THE MERCY, HEY, YOU LOCKING ME UP IF I DON'T GOT NOTHING. >> YES, THAT IS. YOU CAN'T JUST LOCK ME UP AND I DON'T GET NOTHING. >> PULL YOU IN FROM THE CAR. >> HOW? IF I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING, Y'ALL JUST GOING TO SAY IT'S ME. I literally just came from around the corner car. >> Okay, stop pushing me cuz I DON'T WANT NO RESISTANCE. I'm going to get in the car. I'm going to get in the car. >> I don't want you to get resistant either. BUT WE'RE SITTING HERE. HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE? >> HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO TAKE? >> All day with YOU LIKE THIS. >> HOW? I HAVE TO GET MY KID. NO, I CAN'T BE THERE FOR NO TWO HOURS. I'M BEING FOR NOTHING THAT I didn't even do. >> HEY, Y'ALL. HOW Y'ALL WATCH THE CAMERA THAT FAST? >> How you watch the camera that fast? >> Everywhere. I have you walking at the corner with a white bag across the STREET TO THE OTHER SIDE. >> THEY TOLD YOU THAT [ __ ] LOOK AT IT. >> They told you that. >> Go. >> Okay. I'm going TO GET IN. YOU DON'T GOT TO PUSH ME. >> THEN GET IN THE [ __ ] CAR. OKAY. OKAY. >> LIKE A [ __ ] GO. >> NOW YOU'RE GETTING the [ __ ] >> here. >> She was charged with retail theft and resisting officers during the detention process. Trying to outsmart police with excuses, arguments, and technicalities only made the situation worse once the evidence and witness statements started lining up against her. Meet the most awkward shoplifter ever. Caught red-handed with a batterypowered buddy she never paid for. >> What? Oh, I'm confused. Like, what are you going to die? >> Please let me go, please. >> On May 23rd, 2024, police in Woodstock, Illinois, suddenly showed up at a female suspect's home after Walmart reported she had stolen several expensive items, including sex toys. A tragic comic situation set the stage for everything that followed. Uh, >> what happened to Walmart yesterday? We wanted to go at Walmart yesterday. >> You were at Walmart yesterday. I got you on camera. So, let's not play that game on that scooter. >> What? Oh, I'm confused. >> Okay. What are you confused about? >> What am I in trouble for? >> I'm asking you what happened at Walmart yesterday. What you did at Walmart yesterday is what you're in trouble for. >> I bought my uh Batman. >> Okay. Where's that at? Uh, >> okay. What else did you buy? >> Um, I think that might have been it, but I I don't remember it now. >> Okay. >> Really? I don't. Oh. >> When questioned about Walmart, the suspect acted clueless, as if struck by sudden amnesia, claiming she only bought one small item. Watch how officers handle her. >> What? What? What can I do? What? Look. >> Okay. Should I book some travel? >> Okay. So, I'm here because you didn't buy any of those items, including the vacuum. >> No, no, but I any of those I haven't put out in there. >> Uh, there was a dildo and a set of headphones that you picked up, selected, took out. You ditched the box of of the vacuum. You put on your moped, and you rode off. >> Yeah. Well, I I I bought that. So, I my phone. >> You didn't You didn't buy it. >> I bought it with Walmart pay. I should have I mean, it should have gone through. If they're saying I didn't, then >> You bought it You bought it with Walmart pay. How does Walmart pay work? >> Um, Drew, you fire through the app. You scan the items on your phone and then I got a page. >> Oh my god. I I don't know if what I thought I did. Apparently, I didn't. >> No, you went in, you took items out of their packages in the store. >> Yeah. Oh, yes. That Yes. Yeah, I did. Yes. And Yes. >> Okay. Yes. You stole all the items you took yesterday. So, I'm trying to get those items back and take them to Walmart. >> No, that No. No. That's not That's not a thing anybody's ever heard. >> Police confirmed the evidence. She loaded items onto her scooter without paying. Cornered, the suspect quickly confessed and that's when the comedy truly began. >> Come on. I got you on camera, doing it. And you just told me you stole. >> I don't want to lie to you. Please, officer. Please. >> If you do this, he will be gone for me forever. We are 2 days away from our court date. I swear I will do whatever it takes. >> No, please. I will do whatever it takes to make this right. Please do not place me under arrest. I will go to Walmart to give them a full apology. We pay for everything right now. Give them the items back and never step foot in Walmart again. Honest to God, I will do whatever it takes. >> But that's not what they're asking of. >> What are they asking? They're asking you to be arrested if you stole a felony amount of >> merchandise. No. Like, please don't. I swear I thought I paid for it on my phone. >> No, you did. >> Honest to God, it's not it's not a real >> I did. And what then? What would you go back and say sorry for and pay for if you thought you paid for it? You You stole the item. I got you. >> Yeah, I get. >> Police bluntly told her Walmart demanded prosecution. And when asked about family, she tensed up like a child scared of being caught. Seriously. She thought stealing and then paying made it all okay. >> But my whole No, please don't. You said you weren't going to. >> No, I didn't. >> You did. I asked if you were I Please. You are now. >> No. Please let me do anything. >> There's nothing I can do. >> No. Please. Can I do something? >> Please. Officer, just listen to me. We need to get We need to get I'm going to be so much >> relax. Yeah, you are. You're You're under arrest for a felony. I can't I won't go to prison. >> So, listen. I know that's what a felony is. >> I know. Don't understand where I'm at. No. Please listen to me. Listen to me. >> You listen to me. I've asked you to listen to me several times. >> I'm begging you. >> I need you. I need you to listen to me. >> Yes. Please. >> Please >> listen to me for 5 seconds. >> This is going to be so much easier if you just listen to me. >> You can't take me. You can't take me. >> Let me explain something to you. You will be back here in 30 minutes. >> You can't. I will be in prison. >> No, you will be back here in 30 minutes. >> Despite the suspect crying and begging like a child, officers decided it was time this grown-up brat learned a hard lesson. >> But right now, I need you to I need you to put your hands behind your back. >> I'm going over here. >> I need Oh, that's fine. I I got it. Understood. Understood. Understood. Put your hands behind your back for me. Please don't think about being at war. Please don't me when you have a thing to talk to them. Please, please. >> Okay. Face face the car. Face the car. >> Turn like this so it doesn't There you go. Just sit still. Sit still. >> Don't talk to officer. >> Face the puppets. >> Not at this time. volume 24 and 22. >> We're 104. We're 80. No, but already done. >> Well, yes, the damage was done yesterday. >> I know. I know. I know. I'm just >> I already talked to them. >> I know. Can I talk to them, please? >> No. In fact, I should let you know now. You're not allowed back at Walmart. >> No, I could talk to them when he's done here. >> There's a cell phone. If you ever go back to the property of Walmart, you'll be arrested for trespassing as well. Okay. >> It's not your problem. I know it's my fault. >> Look at it. I'll be sure. Please God, don't process me. Please. On the way to the station, she kept begging Walmart to let her pay. Terrified not just of charges, but of the shame before her kids. Too late. >> I will let you go in 30 minutes. >> I know. Please tell your tool to the driving complaint. >> Please, please call me Dr. Wall. >> Not right now. >> Can I take off your jewelry and put on this counter? >> Yes. >> Please don't do it right now. Please. >> Can I have you take off your jewelry and please bear them over? Please >> put your jewelry on the counter. Please. I'm running. >> Okay. >> Please let me get out of that. Please. Please. >> You have to. >> Please let me go. Please. >> I can't. >> Go. Officer, please. Please think about it. >> I can't. You you can >> they will have the option to drop the charges at any time. >> They will have the option to drop the charges at any time. You can call them. >> They called and asked me to come arrest you. So please back up. No. Back up for me. Back up for me. Please back up for me. >> In the end, the 34year-old woman was convicted of retail theft over $300, class 3 felony. After a plea deal, the charge was reduced, but she still served 70 days in jail, received 30 months of probation, and paid $624 in fines. Remember, the law has no section for buying freedom with tears. And no child is ever proud of a parent caught stealing bedroom toys. Worse, the woman dragged her family into it to protect her deception. >> Where's the piece of it? >> Right here. I'll show you again. So, you see, you take the bag and then you take that right over. You don't have time. I have three kids. My daughter is constantly talking to me. You can see that throughout the video. If you >> On June 8th, 2025, officers received a call from Walmart reporting an active theft where the suspect deliberately skipscanned merchandise at the selfch checkckout. Inside the loss prevention office, it was determined that the act was entirely intentional with no accident involved. >> It's all clothes so far. >> So, she's purposely not doing any of the clothes. I can show you. Okay. Yeah. All the stuff that you can keep one. >> Thank you. I didn't know that, >> man. So, they are scanning all the food though. >> Yeah. So, this is the shirt and shorts that she does. This is just an very It's That's what it all looks like, by the way. And then she'll do it again with the clothes here. There's going to be some grocery items on there, but that's because she's >> But it's just her. She got like Did that not miss? >> It didn't. It It Some of it has been some. >> Okay. >> Yeah. But then others like it was paused and she just like just >> and then and then when she was going to go scan another grocery item, that's when she asked for help. >> That's just her doing everything. >> Yeah, dude. I want to say this lady used to work here, but I'm not totally sure. >> I think she's going to try and leave. Yeah, >> literally even with the whole without paying anything. Look, she's yelling at them >> for what? >> Who's yelling? >> The This lady looks like she's yelling at them. >> You didn't mean to her. >> I don't know. I can't tell. >> So, she hasn't pay for anything. >> She has Yeah, it was declined. It's like at 400 something on the top of the clothes that are under >> Oh my god. >> She She already yelling. >> I think she's yelling at the register. >> They're probably there in the store. >> Oh, she got a receipt. immediately after confirming that the suspect showed signs of leaving, officers promptly devised a plan to intercept the woman at any exit. >> She's still in the bathroom. >> Oh, we are, >> man. I bet they come out this way. We can go back to the office. >> Yeah. >> No matter. You're too. You call the shots. >> We'll go back to the office. >> You know why I'm here? Can you stop? >> Yep. >> I'm sorry. >> Hello. Can you step in there? >> Okay. You go in there and take a seat on the bench. >> You got your ID on you, ma'am? >> Of course. >> I didn't realize it was nothing for you. >> That was unpaid for, honestly. >> All right, ma'am. Are you still living on Oxford? >> No, I'm leaving. >> Okay, I'll grab that new address from here. >> All right, I got to read you something. All right. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can be used against you in court or in other proceedings. You have the right to a lawyer for advice before we ask you any questions and to have him present during questioning. If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you free of any cost to you before any questions if you wish. >> Okay. >> You understand that right? >> Of course. With those right mind, you wish to speak with me? >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, what's going on today? >> I didn't understand that I didn't pay for anything that I bought. I got three kids in me. know if something wasn't unskinned. I It was not to my knowledge. >> Okay. So, I've been in here for a while and I've been watching. So, I saw we did with the clothes and the crab legs and stuff like that. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, I saw everything, right? >> Okay, that's cool. >> The officers spoke bluntly, making it clear that they knew everything. Yet, the woman showed no sign of shame and continued to deny it, making the situation even more difficult. I have money. >> Okay. So, pay for it and you scan those items up. >> I scanned the clothes. >> No, you didn't. >> I did. >> I watched you and you did not. >> Okay. >> I just went right over. >> It's not even an argument. >> Okay. >> It's not an argument. >> Is money tight or >> H? >> Is money tight or what? >> Yeah, money is tight for everybody. Money is tight for everybody. But >> yeah, no clothes or scanned. What's the reason for that? >> Cuz I felt like I scanned it. My kids were right there. Monte, did you not see me scanning? He was right next to me scanning. >> Okay. Well, you see the cameras. We're going to go back and look what you did with the t-shirt. >> Okay. >> Okay. So, you see how you don't attempt that at all. That's what kept seeing the birthday. >> I don't attempt what? >> You didn't attempt to scan the t-shirt. >> Where's the t-shirt at? >> Right here. I'll show you again. >> So, you see, you take the bag and then you take that, swoop it right over. You don't have to scan that at all. >> What? Those t-shirts are black things. Yep. >> Okay. >> So, all this stuff right here, all this clothes, same way. >> Okay. So, why is all the clothes just so happen to not be scammed? >> I'm not going to lie to you. >> I'm not >> You're not going to lie to me. >> No, I'm not lying. >> She believed that what the cameras recorded was the real deception. She even dragged her family into it to defend her credibility. >> I'm not lying. I honestly felt like I stand. My son was right next to you. >> I understand that you feel like you stand there, but all the clothes I >> Okay. And I can still pay for them, honestly. >> So, how Walmart does it, if it's not standing, you walk past the final point of sale, which you did, they're not allowing you to purchase that. >> Okay. >> That's just their policy. That's how they do it. >> Okay. That's true. But >> we're here constantly every day. So, I have been told that you lie in the book. >> I've came to the store multiple times >> and I've heard that. But that doesn't change it. >> I understand. I'm I'm not honestly I'm not trying to argue with you. I'm not trying to argue with you. I thought I scanned them. I have three kids. My daughter is constantly talking to me. You can see that throughout the video. If you open the video up louder, if you open it up wider, you can see her saying, "Mommy, mommy, mommy." So she was just saying, "Mommy, mommy, mommy." Every time it was close, >> Anthony. >> It seemed that everything she tried to prove was meaningless. And the officers even had to step in and offer her advice. >> So ma'am, we're all human. I understand that. >> We all make mistakes. It happens. >> And that's what I'm trying to say. Like I'm not >> I'm not done. >> One or two items completely understand. I don't think they've gone through all the items yet. But when I look at a pile like that, I don't consider that an accidental thing. >> Nobody accidentally forgets to scan 10 plus items. >> That's just not realistic or logical in any way, shape, or form. >> Mhm. >> So, what we're trying to say is if you came here with the intention, I understand you have multiple children. >> I get it. It's not easy raising one kid. I couldn't imagine raising more than one. It's a lot. I understand that. Come on. >> Yeah, I'll be back. >> So, I understand that. >> I'm not under arrest, sir. >> So, what I'm giving you is a notice to appear. So, technically, you're under arrest just without going to jail. So, you'll have a court date. Okay. This back for you. Okay. So, 9:00 a.m. Tasel County Courthouse in Pein July 15th. Okay. You'll have to show up for that. If not, they'll issue you a warrant. Okay. All right. And so I got to search your bag since you are technically gun arrest. I got to search you. I'll just search it. Hand it to me. >> I'll give you my bag. >> Okay. >> All right. Well, they're done with you, so you guys are free to go. Okay. >> All right. Thank you. >> The suspect was issued a notice to appear for retail theft under Illinois law with the total merchandise value amounting to $162.52. What did you think about this woman? And was the way the police handled it reasonable or not? Leave a comment sharing your thoughts. You >> know WHAT I'M BEING DETAINED FOR? >> INTERFERENCE IN CUSTODY. >> WAIT, HOW? >> INTERFERENCE. >> On the 27th of September, 2025, police received a report of a fight at a residential area involving two teenage girls from the same foster family. Police quickly arrived at the scene in time. Listen to the statements of those present to find out what really happened. >> Kids fighting over here? >> Yeah. >> Where? >> I mean, the fighting is over. One of them took off and left. >> Okay. She's just upset. That's why I'm asking. >> She was following me word. >> Violence upset you? >> Yeah. >> The incident affected many people psychologically and became far more serious than anyone had imagined. Police separated the witnesses into small groups so they could investigate the situation more thoroughly. >> The door, the three bros, she was in the um second row. Me and her. >> I I got out because um because I knew they won't stop swinging and then she got out the car and went like on this side to get home. >> Yeah. She like tried to drag her out the car and everything. >> Okay. >> You didn't find her. Okay. >> He said that. >> So she's 17, I think. Am I allowed to call EMS for her? Cuz she wants her face checked out. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> But you said that you saw you said she was going home and pointed in that direction. >> Yeah. >> She said she's going to her mom's house. I'm not sure where her mom was. She went down that street right there. >> Okay. >> How did she first? >> She's the one boxing me with her hands and I was sitting right there kicking her in the face and fighting her. >> Okay. The two that were fighting Diamond and the other one, they're both your foster children? >> Yes. >> Okay. And they currently stay together? >> Yes. >> So, this all started over music. >> Music. >> Has there I know they just said she got here. I don't know the other girl's name. They said she just got here on Thursday. >> Yeah, she just >> Has there been any other altercations in the home? >> Has there been any altercation in this home until she came? >> Okay, >> so she's a problem. >> Shortly after, an officer went to the location of the girl who had fled. She showed no shame in admitting what had happened, but she refused to take responsibility for her part, and her attitude only made the situation even more tense. >> What's your first name? >> What's your last name? What happened? Well, >> we got into it. This little girl, she >> I don't like that little girl. We would just clue like a few minutes ago and she we fighting a be so I call her back. >> Why she So where are y'all at? >> Check the laundry map. She talking shut up and I was like who you talking to? And then that's when we got an argument. That's when you started fighting. >> Okay. >> And and >> why did y'all started fighting? >> I don't know. She never like she didn't like to me when I first came over there. >> Okay. >> She also had an attitude with me. >> Give me one second. Okay. >> A short while later, backup officers arrived at the scene, but the woman's temper did not calm down at all. In fact, everything turned chaotic soon after. >> And I'm like, "Who you talking to?" And we started arguing and then she started and she hit me. Started hearing back. So we both started fighting and I got out the car and ran around there and we both started fighting. And then the mama was taking up her side. Oh, you started it. No fighting in my house. Like we not even at your house. What you talking about? >> We at a dog, man. What you talking about? >> Okay. Miss Boseman, put your hands behind your back. >> Whoa. No. Mama. >> Mama. No. STOP. STOP. >> STOP. You're going to get tased. YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED. >> STOP. YOU'RE GOING TO GET TASED. >> HEY. Get away. >> Get away. Get away. [screaming] Hurry up. >> Get back. Stop. >> I let it down. >> I got to pee. >> Stop moving. >> Stop moving. >> Stop moving. And put your hand behind your back. If you were a family member in this situation, I advised you not to interfere with police actions or you could face extra charges like the woman in white. Shortly after, officers arrested her as well. >> Huh? >> We need to arrest one more. >> Do what you got to do. >> You know, >> don't you go in the house. Get down here. down there for you guys to go too. >> Why you for one reason? >> I don't EVEN KNOW WHAT THE HELL I'M DOING. THE HELL STOP. NO. NO. I don't even know. >> Turn around. >> I DON'T EVEN KNOW. >> Get on the ground. I don't even know. >> Stop. Stop. >> Stop. >> Stop. Stop. Please. I need you to watch over mama. Please. Shut her down. >> Wrap her around. >> Shut her down. >> Wrap her around. >> I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I'M BEING detained for. >> INTERFERENCE AND CUSTODY. >> WAIT, HOW? INTERESTING. >> HOW? >> The woman was charged with felony obstruction and domestic battery while her sister was charged with felony obstruction. Interfering in a police investigation or arrest can quickly turn a chaotic situation into an even bigger legal problem, adding [music] serious charges on top of an already tense incident. Next, these shoplifterss even used innocent family member to make the situation more difficult. >> YEAH. WELL, YOU GUYS GOT ME JITTERY. I'M 4 MONTHS PREGNANT. NO, let me out of these handcuffs now. >> My back. >> I have back problems. accident right now. >> On the 22nd of August 2025, police were dispatched to a Walmart store after reports claimed that two women had been shoplifting inside the store. [music] Even worse, they were allegedly not alone during the incident. To make things clearer, loss prevention officers began breaking down everything through the surveillance cameras. >> That's her right there. That's her right now. >> So, is it just her or is it both of them? >> That's the only her friend. That's her friend. >> Okay. So she's not still >> technically the she's part of >> she um they they have a drawers. >> She popped one of the drawers apart, stacked them too. So it looks like there's one but it's actually two stacked on top. >> Okay. >> Yeah, they're together. >> They got a kid with them. That's the craziest thing. >> Do we know if they came in the car or do they have like a lookout? Do we know? >> She was the lookout. The friend was the lookout. >> Which way are they going? They're going the other way. >> She going to the bathroom. went to the restroom. >> Can I tell the kid that their mom whose mom's a loser? >> Child abuses. >> That's what I said. >> The other one's [ __ ] bricks right now. I >> think they saw the two security guards walking. >> So, we're good on the on the black female. >> Yeah. Let's go grab her [ __ ] >> She's in the bathroom. >> I identify as a woman. One of the women allegedly rushed into the restroom, suspected of concealing merchandise to avoid detection. But the situation quickly turned chaotic once officers approached her. I need >> you to step on out. All right. >> I'm sorry. >> Step on out. You're concealing items. You're under arrest. >> No, I'm not. >> Yes, ma'am. You are. >> I just saw these items in here. I was just looking like What the [ __ ] >> These are my items here. >> That's right. You're under arrest. I myself >> I'm not resisting. I'm not resisting. >> I'm not concealing items. It's under paper. RAINA, >> I'm not concealing items. Sir, please. I need to call it. >> Stop resisting or you're going to get tased. >> Resisting. >> Give me your hand. Resisting. >> Put your hand behind your back. >> I'm not resisting. Put your hand behind your back. Ma'am, you're going to get put away the taser at home. Give us your hand or you're going to get us. PLEASE COME GET NOAH. THEY'RE ARRESTING ME. [screaming] >> Come get Noah. I don't know why they're arresting me, bro. Please come get Noah. >> Come to the bathroom, bro. Stop. Stop, bro. >> STOP. STOP. Stand up. >> Hey, stand up. >> Stand up. >> Stand up. Stand up. You're making things worse. >> Okay. Wait, wait, wait. >> You're going to get more charges. Just stand up. >> I got to pull my pants up, please. >> Meanwhile, the other woman was stopped by another officer. And judging by what she had witnessed, she didn't seem willing to make things easy either. >> I'm right here. I'm right here. They're going to give me Noah. I'm right here. >> Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. >> No. Y'all got to give me my kid. Y'all can't do that. >> Listen. >> Listen. Y'all are going to give me my kid. I'm not putting my hands on y'all. I'm not touching y'all. So, you can go get my kid. Okay, then I'm going to go get here. We're here because you guys are doing stuff in the store, RIGHT? >> DOING WHAT? TRYING TO PAY FOR SOME [ __ ] >> OKAY. What >> you talking about? Don't come at me like that. Don't come at me like that. >> YOU WANT TO CHECK MY PURSE CUZ I DON'T GOT >> You want to hang out? You want to relax? Or I could put you in handcuffs and deny you. >> No, you can't do nothing. No. Come here. >> Come here, daddy. >> Take a step to the side. Step to the side. I'm not >> You going to give me my nephew. I'm going to tell you that right now. >> Step right here. Do not move again. If you move again, you get I'm pregnant. Put your hand behind you. >> Excuse me. >> Relax. >> Excuse me. >> Relax. >> I'm pregnant and you're putting your hands on me. Please let go of me. >> I will cooperate with you guys. Please let go of me. Please let go of the phone. Let go. Let go. >> Like you guys are literally putting me in handcuffs for nothing. >> So you put your mind on your back. >> You guys do realize you're putting me in handcuffs for nothing, right? >> Hey, little man. Come here. Come here. Bubble. Get my baby. >> She get my baby. >> The baby's coming with us. >> No. I need her to get my baby. >> I need her to get my baby though. You're not taking my baby. >> Wait, get my baby. >> I am, Adora. I am. I got you. Trust me. >> You can put it right around my jacket is what you can >> relax. You don't make orders around here. All right. >> Okay. >> Y'all do realize you're putting me in handcuffs for no reason, right? Knowing that I'm pregnant and I didn't do nothing wrong. Like, I literally have nothing on me, nothing in my purse, nothing. >> This is crazy. It was clear they were willing to escalate the situation, even with an innocent family member involved earlier. Even while stepping outside, she began asserting her rights as a citizen, seemingly as a way to reinforce her claim of innocence. >> So, >> we can't put you in there because the other person is in there. >> You cannot put me in there because I'm not going to jail for nothing. >> Take a seat. We never said you're going to jail yet. >> You need to take me out of handcuffs legally. You can Okay, let me call my lawyer. Take my handcuffs off. >> Take a seat. >> Take my handcuffs off cuz you cannot do this. You cannot do this. Yes. Can you take a seat, please? >> No. No. I got to get in front of my daughter. >> You're not working with me. I need to go home to my kid. My kid is at home with a baby. >> Take a seat. >> Kid, take a seat. >> What the [ __ ] are you talking about? Get the off of me, bro. >> You're doing all this for NO REASON. >> NO, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE NOTHING. >> SO, WHY THE DO YOU HAVE ME IN HANDCUFFS? >> ARE YOU GOING TO STEAL? NO, I DIDN'T. >> YOU'RE JUST MAKING THIS LONGER than it needs TO BE. >> GET ME OUT these handcuffs, bro. >> You're just making it longer than >> me these handcuffs. Take a seat. We get everything done with and then you can go about your business, RIGHT? >> FOR WHAT? I DIDN'T TAKE NOTHING. >> Are you going to Are you going to go inside the car? >> No. Get me out of these handcuffs, bro. Cuz like I already feel like I need TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. I DON'T FEEL WELL. YOU GUYS GOT ME JITTERY. I'MING 4 MONTHS PREGNANT. NO. LET ME OUT OF THESE handcuffs now. >> That's not going to happen. >> I have a daughter. I need to get home to with a babysitter. >> Okay, good. Listen to me. Listen to me. >> This is This is This is not going to happen this way. Okay. >> You have me You know, you have me in handcuffs, right? And I didn't touch anything. I didn't steal anything. I don't have anything in my bag. I didn't steal anything. That's irrelevant. >> I was paying for everything that I had. >> That's irrelevant. >> Okay. No, it's not irrelevant cuz you got me in handcuffs for yelling. >> Okay. >> She denied all accusations of theft, but inside the store, the situation with the other woman told a different story, especially after she was shown footage of her own actions. >> I didn't know that. >> I've done that before, but I'm in the bathroom. I've purchased. That's fine. We have you on video selling items in your purse if that's the reason for your arrest. Okay. >> All right. >> So, once you can sell something in like a purse or in your property, that is a crime. Walmart is what are still in charge. >> Is there somebody for the kid or is it a DCF thing with them? So >> So it's emergency call out for DCF. >> I would I have a question. >> There's no more answers. >> DCF comes from my child. >> Put her in the car. >> Like I'm so confused right now. >> Like come and check her out. >> Okay. You can put your B&M They're on their way. They're on their way to check you out. Can I at least call my kids who are at home, please? Like, these are my children who are at home. I was not stealing. I don't even understand why you guys are having me in handcuffs. >> A babysitter. >> As soon as we get to the station, you can uh you can call them. Do you have another family member that could stand in her place? >> No, I don't. That's the thing. I was in the middle of moving. I didn't even know that she was taking anything. That's why I'm freaking out right now because why are police here? >> Stand up. >> For what? >> My back. >> Your back. I have I have back homes. I have disc right now. >> In the end, she was charged with child abuse, retail theft, and resisting without violence, involving a child in unlawful situations can quickly escalate legal consequences, and denying clear evidence only worsens the outcome once an investigation is underway. >> Can I get down on my knees and beg you, please, this is just a pay bill. I'm not Please. >> I can't. Please, >> ma'am, you're going to get tased. >> Please, >> ma'am. >> On September 5th, 2023, police received a call from a Dillard store at a shopping mall reporting a woman committing theft there. Upon being approached, the woman immediately understood what was happening and offered an excuse to claim her innocence. >> Okay, everything back. >> You g everything back? >> Yes, I gave him everything back. >> You guys got everything back? >> I took it all out and put on the table. >> Do you have your ID with you? >> No, I don't. Look, >> check my bag. >> Oh, you're good. Hold on. >> I don't have anything. >> All right. Well, I'm going to get with them. Okay. What's What's your first name? >> S H A >> S H A >> N I D A. >> All right. We're going to step out to my car. Okay. We're going to go one step at a time. Okay. I'll get with them. See what they want to do. 32. I'm walking out with the subject right now. >> I got you. Let's take one step at a time. Like I said, I know you gave stuff back, but again, more than likely they don't want to prosecute you. They're just probably going to have you criminally trespass on the property. Okay. >> But we're going to hang out here for a little I got to wait for my other officer to show up. Oh, there he is. Okay. You going to stand by with him? What What did you What What was in the bag? What? >> He was just some polo stuff for my son. >> Okay. Like t-shirts. Okay. >> T-shirts. >> Please, y'all. My son-shirts in the car on the other side. Please. >> You say, "Okay, hold on. Relax." >> As if she was hiding something, the woman brought up her family member as an excuse to slip away quickly, even lowering herself and begging just to make it happen. Can I get down on my knees and beg you, please? This is just to pay a bill. I'm not in jail. >> No, no, I understand. If you need to sit down, though, you can sit down on over there and I'll I'll wait over here with you. >> Am I going to jail? >> Uh, we don't know. Sometimes they they want us to press charges, sometimes they don't, but it depends on what they tell us. So, so we're going to wait on >> Can you just walk around this corner just to check on him, please? Hm. >> And me and you walk around this corner just to check on who? >> My son. He's sitting in the car. He n >> He's sitting inside the car. What car is in? >> You see on the other side? >> One second. Is the car on? You have no AC running or anything? >> Hey, Sanchez. >> 131. You have to hide in as well. >> Yeah, he's clear. >> So, she's has a kid in her car. >> It's her cuz she has a tattoo right here. So, she's >> And everything escalated even further when the officers began to move in and search the woman. >> Do you a favor? Yeah. Mind you standing up and turning around for me? >> Yeah. Mind just stand up and turn around, please. Please. No, you haven't worn out for your I don't have no warrant. Please, y'all. >> You don't want to do this. You don't want to do it. >> Don't do me like this. Please. Please. >> I can't. Please. >> Ma'am, you're going to get tased. Give me your hand. Please. >> Ma'am, I'm going to tase your hand. >> Please, y'all. Please. >> Ma'am, I'm not kidding with you. You actually have a warning. >> Ma'am, just relax. >> I gave you the wrong name. Let me give up and give you my right name. >> Let me give up and give you my right name. >> You need to stop resisting. Turn on. >> Stop resisting. >> You need to give us your hand. >> Please, y'all. Please. >> Please. >> You're going to get tased. If you don't resist, I need you to relax. Relax. You do. You do. Relax for me. Okay. Okay. >> Relax. Listen to me. And you get hurt at all. I'm going to talk. Look, I need you to calm down. Okay. >> Are you suspicious activity? >> Ma'am, I need you to relax for me. >> Relax for me. Okay. You think you think I have you on we'll be on the ground right now if you didn't have a warrant? >> No. >> Her resistance only deepened the suspicion that she was hiding something. And she even began blurting out statements the officers had never asked about. >> Relax. You got to work with us, man. >> My name is Tracy Haley. I was born September the 9th, 1987. I tried to give you a relax. Relax. >> Look, listen to me. Listen to me. All right. Just as quick as these cuffs can come on, they can come right off. I need to verify everything right now. Okay. Okay. The name you gave me. Okay. You have an active warrant. Okay. That's all that is. Okay. Now, give me a hand. All right. We're going to work through it like I explained to you. You've been cool with me the whole time. So, don't don't make it worse now. Okay. >> Can't help but want y'all. My baby's over there in the car. I hear you. Listen. Listen. But the way you're acting now, you're leaving us no choice. >> You're going to get more charges on you if you're not working with us. I'm telling you that right now. >> That's not a smart choice. You have the key in the car right now. >> 32 penny. He's our supervisor this way. >> Ma'am, I need you to turn around for him. Please give me a hand. >> Ma'am, come on. >> Jesus, please. Jesus, please. >> Ma'am, you got to work with us. >> You got to work with us. >> Please, ma'am. >> Please, Jesus. >> Jesus, please. Please, >> ma'am. Please, Lord. Please, >> ma'am. Ma'am, stop. Stop resisting. >> Stop resisting. >> Please stop playing. >> Please. Oh, please. >> Ma'am, you will be you will be tased or you will be pepper spray if you don't work with this. >> I got her in. >> The officer successfully handcuffed the woman, but that didn't mean she stopped making things difficult as she shifted into playing the victim as her next move. >> Do me a favor. Put your leg up. Stand up. Come on. No, I was telling her, can you can Can you bend your legs so you can stand up? >> Breathe. >> All right. >> So, I'm trying to sit you up with your back right here so you can breathe. >> Okay. You want to sit up with your back up? >> You sit up. You can breathe a little better. >> Do you want to breathe with your head in the air or you want to breathe facing the ground? Cuz right now you're facing the ground. So, you want to sit up. Do you want to sit up? >> Relax, man. It's right here. Okay. >> That's her insurance. >> Yeah. >> Okay. So, >> between 30 and 40 years old. >> Ma'am, can you look at me and talk to me? Trying to figure out what's going on with you. >> Are you hurt or injured? >> What's the chief complaint? >> Complain. Complain. ma'am. Can you talk to me? >> Ma'am. >> Hello. >> What's your name, ma'am? >> She says that she has a >> eight or nineyear-old in a car by itself. It was clear she had tried to use a family member as an excuse, but when officers checked her claim, the truth behind that story began to unravel. >> You can't ask her to verify if she did or didn't have a child in the car. We have a green wall up with the windows down like she explained, there's no child crashing green Mercedes. >> Okay, let me go. >> Miss, so number one concern besides your health right now is your son. You did mention you had a son in your in your car. All right. What car did you drive? >> Okay, we can't leave your son in your car. Do you know what car you had? Car we were driving. >> Hey, what car did she tell you she was driving? >> The older model uh green Mercedes E3 20. >> Okay. Tempor. Um she's not answering. So that's all we have to go off. If there's no kid in there, then I guess there wasn't a kid to begin with. So, there was no family member in the car as she had claimed, but the officers uncovered new findings, which may have been the real reason she was so desperate to leave. >> I didn't see a mag in it, but it's in the >> Check. Uh, get that wallet in the back. >> No, no mag. >> Yeah, >> there's a there's a wallet back there, too. I can't Is this her? That looks like her. I can't tell too much, but it does look like her. Oh, here we go. We got multiple IDs. We all know the same one. No, that's a male. Is that her? Look like her. 32. What's your subject's name? Shenita. >> That' be her. >> But she doesn't have a tattoo. I mean, of course, it could be new, but >> Shenita Moore. >> Shenita. >> Shenita. >> Yeah. This is going to be her vehicle. We have her ID and personal belongings in here. Ma'am, did >> she come back at all? >> She did. She's 83, but she's saying that's not You said the name you gave me wasn't your name. What's your real name then? >> Okay. She's got a tattoo in her element. >> She was ultimately charged with shoplifting and obstruction of justice. Avoiding the truth and trying to manipulate the situation only escalated the consequences. Cooperating and taking responsibility from the beginning could have prevented the situation from spiraling into more serious charges. Worse, the woman did not even realize how dangerously intoxicated she was. >> Put your hands together. >> Seriously, you're not going to ask me a question. >> You're not asking. >> So, you don't have it on your phone? >> No. >> Okay. >> On the 18th of April, 2025, officers received multiple 911 calls reporting a driver who appeared intoxicated, attempted to leave the parking lot, and nearly struck others. They immediately arrived at the scene, but the female suspect instantly denied everything. >> Are we good? What? >> Pull out. >> What's that? >> I need to pull out. >> Okay. Well, we got a call and you mind putting in park for a second? >> Yeah. >> Okay. I >> can you pull forward here? You >> park for him. And I just need to >> Okay. Put him in park. >> Can you take your keys out of the ignition, please? >> Can I have the keys? I mean, >> so I can smell the alcohol coming off your breath. Okay. Um, we got a call saying that you almost hit some kids in the parking lot here. >> I almost hit some kids. >> Yeah, >> I did not almost hit some kids. >> You're slurring your words. I can smell the >> I literally never though. I never even came in contact with children. >> Okay, that's fine. But I can just standing here, I can smell the odor of a consumed alcoholic beverage coming off your breath. Okay. >> Okay. >> So, let me see your keys real quick. >> For what? >> Cuz I don't want you going anywhere. For exactly what? >> I literally haven't done anything wrong. >> Okay. How much have you had to drink tonight? >> I was with my friends just now to drink until I came here. >> Okay. Where were you guys at? >> Like what? I don't understand exactly what what I did to like >> So, we got multiple calls like I said that you had >> multiple calls from me. >> Just listen. Just listen. Just listen. Okay. >> It's just kind of crazy to think that multiple calls came from me. The woman immediately became defensive when she heard the accusations against her. And beyond showing clear signs of drunk driving, she also failed to provide the necessary documents the officer asked for. >> Your driver's license >> in a second. >> Nope. You're going to give me your driver's license now. >> Or I will in a second. >> No, you're going to give me your driver's license now. >> I literally don't. At this point, I don't feel like I need to. >> You do? >> Because why? >> Cuz I'm investigating an OVI. >> An OVI? >> An OVI? Yes, I am an investigator. I literally did nothing to get to this point. >> I I'm done arguing. Provide me your driver's license. I'm going to We're going to get out of the car and you're going to be placed under arrest. >> I I hear what you're saying. >> Okay. So, where's your driver's license at? >> I will get it on my phone. >> I'm trying to get that out. >> I feel like at this point I'm trying to tell you. >> I wasn't even trying to pick up my kids right now. I was not trying. >> So, your kids here? >> Yes. >> Did you Did you have them in the car? >> I did not drink them here. No, I I dropped I dropped them off and I had a a a >> Is there anybody else that you're with? >> I messaged somebody. Their their name is >> So wait, who are your kids here? >> They are here with somebody completely different. >> Okay. >> I was not here ring. >> Okay. >> Shortly after the woman admitted that she had been drinking, but what stood out was that she saw nothing serious about it, even dragging her own family into an excuse. >> How much alcohol have you had to drink today? >> I drank two drinks at the alcoholics. I was literally going to pick them up and drop them off. All I'm trying to do is get home at this point. I didn't realize it was going to be such a big deal. All I wanted to do like >> Are you willing to run? >> Can you listen for one second, please? >> Listen to me. >> Okay. Are you willing Stop. Stop. Are you willing to run through some tests for me? >> Sure. >> Okay. All right. >> I was going to graduate next week. >> Hold on. Just listen. All I want to do is graduate so I can get to my next >> I had my children very very very early. All I'm trying to do is graduate. >> Okay. >> And now you want to like like look into my car and reveal like I'm I'm not doing anything wrong. >> Okay. 60 69 68 67 66 65 64 63 62 61 67 71 70 70 71 70 70 78 77 76. It was clear that she failed the backward counting test from 69, which showed that she had lied about how much alcohol she drank. Even when given another chance, she still made herself look even more suspicious. >> The letter D is in David, and I just want you to recite the alphabets of Q and Queen. >> Like a normal person. >> Okay. Do Do you want to do this test? >> I I don't understand what I did wrong. >> Okay. Well, we're we're I I've already explained it to you. So, would you like to do this test or no? >> I don't know. Should I? >> It's up to you. If you're going to like pinpoint me as a criminal, then no. Because I'm I'm not a criminal. And I'm not trying to I'm not trying to get it past the law. I'm not trying to do anything. >> Are you going to do the test or not? >> Listen, I >> I'm asking you a question. Stop. >> Are you going to answer the question or not? >> You're looking at me like I'm trying to get above anything. I'm not. >> Listen. Are you going to do the test or not? That's a simple question. It's a yes or no question. >> I don't know. Depending on your answer. I don't know. >> It's not my answer. It's your answer. I'm asking you. It's your answer. making me seem like it's a different >> Are you willing to run through uh field sobriety tests for me? >> A field sobriety test. >> Are you willing to run through field sobriety test for me? >> And what is the answer if I don't? >> Well, we're going to cross that when we get there, but I'm asking you if you're willing. >> I'm asking you if I don't. >> Do I not have that opportunity to ask you that? >> You do, but these are optional tests. >> So, I have every option to ask you when I'm asking. >> And you're asking crazy. You want to keep me here >> and I'm trying to answer the questions as best as I can. >> There was clearly no cooperation like she claimed as she only made the situation more tense, quickly making it obvious to the officers what they needed to do next. >> Question. >> Did you not want to ask me a question? >> Did you not ask me a question? >> So, I'm not going to be asked a question. >> You're not going to ask me a single question? >> Put your hands together. Seriously, you're not going to ask me a question. >> You're not going to ask me. >> I'm not going to ask you. >> You're under arrest. Do you understand that? >> Even though I'm not. >> You have the right to remain silent and you say can we be against you in a court of law attorney and I have the present for any question. You can't the car. >> Not anymore. No. >> Why? >> Do you understand your rights? >> I don't. I don't. >> I just read them to you. >> But you didn't. You didn't understand because you did not understand. No. I did not understand. >> I didn't understand anything you said. Correct. Well, You're going to have to say them again. >> What's your question? I'm not going to say >> all the questions. >> Okay, let's go. Let's put her in the car. >> You don't have any questions for me. >> What did I do? >> You're driving drunk. >> I literally >> You're being You're under arrest right now for OBI. Okay. >> Drink from there. And but like >> what did you have to drink? >> All All I drank with it was literally a shot. >> Just one shot? >> Yes. >> What kind of shot was it? >> It was tequila. >> Okay. >> And and for some reason she I mean she didn't think that that was abnormal at all. She said that since she was going to a party that it was very very normal. >> She changed her story from two drinks to just one compared to her earlier statement which further proved that her state of mind was unstable. But what the officers found afterward was able to reveal the truth. >> Wallet, house key, phone passenger side. Let me take her out of the car for just a second. >> I'm going to take the other one off too real quick so that way you can pull up the entrance for him. >> Tell me what I did. >> I told you you were under arrest for OVI. >> You You're really I'm under arrest. >> Am I under arrest? >> Yes, >> I am under arrest. >> Yes, they arrested you for OVI. >> I have nothing to do with that though. I'm talking about what happened right after all this. Can you see if you can close your insurance for me? >> I don't know what you want. >> Your insurance? I know, but they don't want to. If I could do it without you wanting to like arrest you. >> I'm trying to help you. I swear to God. >> I don't want you to >> I don't want to hurt myself. All I want to do is get the truth to you. >> Sure. >> Let's work on the insurance card first. >> Yep. Hold the insurance. >> What am I trying to do right now? It's so hard to get. >> I don't know what you want me to do. >> Do you know where your insurance card is? >> I know. While honest actions and responsibility could have prevented the chaos from escalating. >> I had a good bar. >> You know I got babies. I got to get back to I didn't know nothing. >> On the 3rd of June 2024, police received a report from Walmart about a group of professional shoplifterss operating inside the store. Even worse, she was already trying to shift the blame onto her accomplice. >> I just wanted to start with them and they told me to hold the car. Stand up. I didn't want you doing all that running >> because I have kids. >> Well, that's your fault. >> I DIDN'T KNOW THEY HAD NONE OF THAT going on. >> I'm a runner real quick. >> Please. >> Hey, you want to go? >> Oh, man. So >> I ran. >> That that makes you look like you weren't being honest. >> In the end, she was charged with petty theft, shoplifting, and obstruction of justice. She should be held accountable for her actions and understand that running only made the situation worse and strengthened the case against her. In the next case, this woman suddenly turned aggressive in an unexpected way. >> No. >> Are you Are you insane? >> Are you insane? >> Are you insane? >> I'm not doing nothing wrong. >> You don't push a cop. >> On the 23rd of November 2024, officers approached a woman because they suspected she was involved in a theft. More specifically, she tried on bras in the fitting room and walked out wearing them instead of bringing them to pay. Here was what happened next. >> I tried two bras on and they were too small for me. >> Okay. Yes, sir. >> The ones you have on now, they found a bad store in the room. >> Oh, >> so I guess you're going have to pay for one, right? >> This is my brasa. >> So, you want me to pay for two bras that don't fit me? >> You walked out the dressing room with the pink and a black bra and putting it down. Their concern is that you have them on you somewhere or you left them somewhere, maybe in the bathroom. So, we're just making sure. >> There's no brows in here. >> Okay. >> Well, let's show Let's show Hey, um she doesn't have them in her purse. So I don't >> Is it the black one that you have on? The black one she has on? >> Okay. Where's the >> Do you have the Do you have the pink one? >> No, I don't. >> To prevent this whole >> I don't have the pink one. >> They didn't fit me. >> Okay. Did you leave them in the dressing room? >> I brought them back out. >> And where did you put them? I set them on the counter and then the lady asked me where they were and I gave them to her along with the other short or the pair of pants. Okay. >> And the um shirt in the sweatshirt. >> Okay. All right. So, you don't you don't need them then? >> No. I I mean I How much are they? >> You said they're like $25. No, I don't. It was clear she couldn't afford them yet still tried them on and her story was inconsistent. However, everything gradually became more tense when she started getting upset for no reason. >> Well, we're just trying to understand for two rides. >> Give me a large. >> No. No. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. No. No. Ashley. Ashley. Ashley. >> This pisses me off. >> I know. This isn't This isn't I'm trying to work with you. I'm on your side. I'm trying to understand the full story. All right. Well, then if you're good, >> you know what? I'll pay for the $21 bras, but I'm going to return them because I can't afford >> you don't need to pay for something that you didn't buy, but were they were concerned because they thought you might be wearing them in the bathroom. That's all. >> Okay, >> that's all. And if you're not, you're not. But if you are, they just want the product back. >> Where am I? >> That's all. As things turned uncomfortable for the woman, she even began acting embarrassingly, showing no concern for the consequences. >> No, no, no, no. Ashley, don't do that. >> Ashley, don't do Don't >> I'm saying like there's I know I'm in public. >> That That's the concern. That was the only concern. Okay. You don't got to get all upset. >> No, I am upset because I'm trying to grocery shop and I'm trying to get back home. >> Well, we can help you get back home. You say you >> I just picked up the car. >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. >> Ashley, would you happen to have this in your purse by chance or >> Oh, what's your phone? You're not wearing those. >> You found it. >> Okay. So, Ashley, listen. Listen, listen. Ashley, >> you're not wearing these. >> Is that these? >> No, ma'am. I just got these from the dollar store. >> Okay. Ashley, the bra we were talking about is right there. So, you did have it at some point and put it in the bathroom. Okay. So, >> that is not on me. >> Ashley >> paid for it. You want to trespass? >> Yeah. >> Let's go to the front. >> So, the woman was only given a trespass order and could have left easily. But things didn't end there when she began directing aggressive remarks at the officers. >> I know. >> Ashley, no. Are you >> Are you insane? ARE YOU INSANE? >> Are you insane? >> I'm not doing nothing wrong. >> You don't push a cop. YOU DON'T PUSH A >> I DID IT. YOU DON'T PUSH A CAR. >> I DIDN'T. >> You don't do that, >> sir. I didn't. >> WELL, YOU DID. AND now look what happens. >> Hey, there's my nails, too. >> I didn't jump anything. >> Stop. >> Sir, I didn't push you. >> Yeah. Angela. Angela. >> No, that was mine. I bought yesterday. >> Yeah, I just bought it yesterday. >> Sir, I'm not trying to run away from you. Please stop. I need to offer my attention. >> She sat there and lied and then one she >> Nobody lied. >> She did. I didn't get in her face. >> Part of the reason she was detained was that she had actually stolen a set of fake nails from the store and the staff were working to confirm that at the time. >> Okay. Well, we're going to make sure this was yours. >> We're going to rewind it. I asked you if you took my nails. They were in my car. You said no. There they are all over the ground with the balloon. >> No, those are mine. I did that on my hands. >> Stop talking, son. >> No, you stop lying. They're on my hands. >> I know cuz she glued them. >> No, I didn't. I PROMISE. I GOT IT FOR $5 AT THE FIVE BELOW. >> WELL, YOU said you now earlier, so make it make sense. >> I didn't I didn't say anything. No, I did not. No, I did not. >> I got it for $5 at Five Below yesterday. >> So, listen. Just find out. I'm going to rewind to make sure that the mascara isn't from here. But either way, I'm going to charge you with the sports bra cuz you're still wearing it. >> Mine the black one that goes with the pink one cuz it's this. >> Okay. So, I can't wear two bras. >> We found the pink one, but you got >> I don't care if you found the pink one. I didn't steal your bra. like talking to me. >> She was charged with battery on an officer, petty theft, and disorderly conduct. A small dishonest act when mixed with denial and loss of control can quickly spiral into far more serious consequences. >> Please my my kids are scared. Please not be the guns, please. >> Okay, everything's fine. >> Watch that was on your son was stolen from another county here in Florida. On the 25th of August 2025, police received a call from a jewelry store reporting a theft worth $5,000. A family was believed to have fled immediately after carrying out the theft in a highly professional manner. Once officers tracked down the vehicle, the situation instantly turned tense. >> Top of your head. Put your hands on top of your head. Turn around. Face away from me. Start walking back towards the sound of my voice. Let me get some hands over here. Stop. Stop. I got hands. >> Keep coming back towards the sound of my voice. Keep coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. Keep coming. Stop. >> Is there any other adults in the car? >> My wife. >> Your wife. Where is she at? The front seat? >> Yes, please. >> Okay. >> Front seat passenger, come out with your hands up. >> Come out. Put your hands up. >> Walk back towards the sound of my voice. Walk back. >> Come back. Come back. >> Put your hands on top of your head. >> I hel my chin. >> Okay. Put your hands on top of your head. Come back to me. >> All right. Stop. Turn around. All right. Walk back to >> Oh, >> I'm sorry. Come on. Walk back to >> my car. We don't. You understand. We understand. Do you have any weapons on you? >> No. >> No. Okay. How old are your kids? >> 23. [snorts] And it's heart operation. >> Okay. Is any any other adults in the car? >> Uh, no adult. It's my three children. >> All right. Step over here. >> Jayen, it's on you guys. >> Just talking to him. There's only there's only three small children in there, so we can You guys just want to go up and clear. Open the door. Stay in the car. Stay in the car. Is this kids? >> What up? >> Please, my my kids are scared. Please not with the guns, please. >> Both of them appeared more worried about their family members than trying to deny the crime, indirectly admitting what they had done. Meanwhile, the investigation at the jewelry store had already confirmed that the theft had taken place. >> He balls it up right in his hand. It's in his hand. >> Now he's got one only in his hand. >> And he continues to look at jewelry and then he switches hands and then puts it into his pocket. >> It was an He was looking at 18 in. >> Uhhuh. and he was looking mainly at he had >> So this is what the tags look like. They probably ripped it off though. I don't know how they just clue. >> Yeah, but you might find it in the vehicle. >> Um he was looking at the men's rings and I approached him and asked if there was anything specific he was looking for, if I could show him anything. [snorts] And he said he was looking for a gold bracelet for his mom and his dad tomorrow. So I proceeded to show him where we have their bracelets and then he said no, nothing like that. And he showed me his necklace. He has one. He was like, "Something more like this." I said, "I can check in the back and see what we have." And that's when he came up to the counter then. >> He needed it for today. >> He needed it for today. Well, tomorrow, but >> So then she went to the back, grabbed a black roll that they have a bunch of other additional jewelry in, set that out. They started showing him pieces he's picking up or she's picking up. They're both picking up. >> He was he was like taking taking the things off and like >> and right where I sent you the picture, there's two two necklaces in his hand. He drops one into his palm. He holds it there and then he tr later transfers it to his other hand and then eventually puts it in his left front pocket. >> Strangely, despite searching for the stolen items, officers could not find anything at first. It turned out everything had been hidden inside the toys belonging to the other family members. >> Oh, look at there. >> Oh, that's a lot of money. Oh, this is jewelry. >> It is all hidden inside. >> I've got jewelry, diamonds, thousands of dollars, several thousand. >> Just Just let us make sure of a couple things first and then we'll let you guys be back together. Okay. Just be patient for us. I saw that. >> Oh, there you go. >> And that's See that? >> Yeah, I saw that. >> Where did that from? >> Right here. That's That's >> We're going to take that. >> Oh, cell phone back seat back here. It looked like a mobile treasure vault carried by the least suspicious members of the family, raising the question of whether this [music] had all been a calculated plan by the parents. As officers questioned the mother about the presence of the valuables, her response immediately drew even more attention. >> My first question is where where did you get the jewelry from? Like the necklace, the earrings? >> There's a old one. >> Old one. What about what about the necklace? Even this is old one. >> My Where did you get it from? >> Oh, from New York. >> From New York. >> Okay. >> They're old one. >> These are old. Okay. What about the bracelet? Yeah, >> this one is old one. I was my birthday. >> Okay. When was your birthday? >> In December. >> In December. Last December. Okay. All right. And what about those? Those are like Pandora bracelets, aren't they? >> Okay. Where did you get those at? >> This one is old one as well. >> Okay. >> Okay. How long ago did you get that one? I know you said it's old, but >> No. >> Like 11 months. >> 11 months. >> Okay. Do you have anything in your purse at all? Do you mind if I take a quick look and Okay. >> Yeah. Perfect. I didn't want to pull down on you while we're doing that. >> That one's ticking. Well, this one's the hands are all broken off. And this thing here is super light. I mean, if it's real, it's >> This one's definitely real. >> This is the one I was taking. [clears throat] >> We're taking these. >> Yeah. See, that's got the emblem on the back, too. >> The man, who was believed to already have outstanding warrants, was taken to the police station for further investigation by detectives. There, he could no longer deny the evidence against him. Yet, he still refused to [music] admit to any of his actions. Well, I'm going to let you know that was you stealing it. We know it's you stealing it. >> Okay. How about the bracelets that were on your wife? >> They're like gold bracelets that she had on. >> No comment. Okay. Am I just wasting my time sitting here or you is everything just going to be no comment? Okay, cool. >> The man was charged with grand theft along with multiple felony warrants from different states tied to previous theft cases. Many thieves believe staying silent and refusing to confess can save them from the consequences. But when the evidence is already piled up in front of them, the truth will eventually force them to pay the price. In the next case, this woman treated shoplifting as if it were a habitual routine. >> I have a horse. That's why I came back. >> I have allergies. >> I asked you if you've been arrested for shoplifting before. >> You said no. >> I said yes. >> On August 19th, 2023, police received a report from a shopping center about a woman caught shoplifting, and it was revealed this was not her first offense. Upon arriving at the scene, the manager provided additional details about the suspect. >> Afternoon. >> How are you, sir? >> Good. I caught this lady shoplifting. Uh, it's not her first time either here. >> Yes, I have her. Is she on the band here? Uh, actually, we just in the car. We actually just researched it this past couple days, so I don't think we even have a chance to call it in. But I have her on five other occasions stealing up to $340. Today was another $92. >> Okay. Do you have the DVDs from the other ones? >> I can go look if Well, I don't have LP here with me today, so let me go look see if they burned them for you. If not, I can definitely uh get that put together, but I just happen to have her in the building and Okay, just so you guys know, my camera's on, too. Okay, fine. But uh I did catch her with $94 of stuff walking out the entrance door. >> What's your name? >> Do you have ID on you? [music] >> Times and totals for [music] the I'll take him upstairs right now. So real quick, you bought her walking out with 90 something dollars worth of stuff today. Um, they have a flyer on it cuz she's been doing other ones and he said he doesn't even think they reported it to us yet. >> I might have already burned but [music] I guess I don't know how she got up with him and then we'll be >> to further verify all statements. The police together with the store employee reviewed historical surveillance footage which helped solidify the evidence for the case file. >> [music] >> just done it five times. Yeah. There she comes. going out that door. >> Yep. And then that's where I stopped her right there and I push her back in. According to the report, this incident marked the seventh time the woman committed the same offense. Perhaps accustomed to encounters with the police, she still showed no sign of remorse during this incident. >> All right. So, we're not going to cuff you here in front of everybody. We'll bring you out to the car and you can call your husband and let him know, too. >> All right. >> We're going to go back to the station. >> Okay. >> But we're being polite, so we're not going to store anybody. >> Okay. >> Which means you're going to be just as polite with us. >> Oh, I'm not good. I'm not good. a little bit. So, come outside. >> So, you want to call your husband or whoever and let him know what's going on? >> We're going to go to the station. >> Clearly, the woman carried herself with a more polished demeanor than a typical shoplifter. Even with those sunglasses, she offered excuses to avoid removing them. >> I have a horse that I came back or I have allergies. Thank you. [music] >> I don't blame him. >> What happens if he does not pick me up? >> Then we'll drive you home. It's right next door. It's not going over the uh All right. Appreciate guys. He's going to handcuff you, okay? Until we get back to the station. You really think I'm going to do anything? Well, >> the rules. [music] And if you did do something and we didn't follow the rules, we'd be in trouble. Tears fell, not from remorse for her actions, but from her fear of being handcuffed. She was then taken to the police station to continue with the remaining procedures. >> Okay. All right. Step over here. Is that too tight? >> Yeah. My first step on my foot. >> Is that better? >> Yeah. >> All right. So, she's got shoplifting out of Jersey City in 2001. Shoplifting out of Byron in 2018. Shoplifting out of Byron 2018. after I asked her. >> All of her offenses were documented in the case file. And immediately afterward, the police confronted her regarding these charges. >> I asked you if you've been arrested for shoplifting before. >> You said no. >> I said yes. >> No. No, you did not >> for >> You said besides this time. No. >> No. I said Yeah. I >> go ahead. What did you tell me? >> I said no. This. >> Okay. Go ahead. >> Yeah. Jersey City and twice in Byron. So now we know she's been arrested twice here. What do we do? There should be an MC section. Come here. Oh, three times of arm. That's That's trespassing cuz she was told she wasn't allowed back there and she must have went back. >> She was charged with multiple counts of shoplifting and trespassing. Attempting to justify actions or rely on familiarity with law enforcement only worsens the outcome. Being honest and cooperating with authorities is the only way to minimize repercussions. Next, shift your mood and brace yourself for a whole new level of chaos. >> Let me go. >> Back up. Back up. Back up. >> I WANT TO TALK TO YOU, [ __ ] On the 18th of January 2026, police received an emergency call from Anani's Bar and Grill after reports came in about a woman causing a disturbance. I'M TRYING TO TALK TO YOU, [ __ ] I WANT TO TALK TO YOU, [ __ ] YOU HEAR ME TALKING TO YOU, [ __ ] JUST by looking at her behavior, one could imagine how chaotic the disturbance inside the establishment had been. But it was truly condemnable that she still believed she was innocent. >> All I was trying to do was tell my people that I was ready to go. That's it. I don't understand why I'm in cuffs right now. >> Don't call Don right now. You're going to go >> I'm calm as possible. I'm calm as possible. >> I'm calm as possible. I'm trying to make sure that my people I'm trying to make sure that my people have my purse, my phone. >> I'm not trying to for you. >> For what? >> Can I make sure my people know what's going on with me? >> I don't know. They here right now. I need to tell them what's going on. >> The other officer didn't text me. So, you're not exactly telling me what's going on. >> Okay. My people are literally right here. >> Get in the car. My people are literally right here right now. Search me right now. Search me right now. I don't have Tell my people where the I'm going. >> Can I tell my people? >> I don't have nobody. >> I don't have my phone. I don't know. We're going to let them know. >> She was charged with aggravated battery against a peace officer, resisting arrest, and criminal trespass. Her reckless defiance only escalated her situation, proving that resisting authority in the heat of the moment could lead to far more serious consequences than the original offense. Do not blink because in the next moment, chaos returned once again with this woman. >> Somebody brandish a firearm on me and my a 10-year-old child. FEBRUARY, [screaming] YOU JUST MY DAUGHTER JUST RIPPED MY DAUGHTER. ON FEBRUARY 14TH, 2025, police received a 911 call from a woman who alleged that a man had brandished a firearm and threatened her at Walmart. Here was how the story unfolded as told through her own account. >> Hi. So, I was like coming into the store, right? And then I noticed like two people that I have issues with. And I'm like on a little push cart. I'm going and like they're trying to have a conversation with me. I don't want to have no conversation. We got to get groceries and go home. >> Okay. >> And then she's like lagging behind me. I'm like, I don't want any problems with these people. And like I had seen him like when he was standing there, he was like this with his hand in his pocket like trying to pull something out. And I'm like, what the hell? Come on. And then when we got probably like by the meat, like the fruit and the meat, the bread. She was like, he pulled the gun out. And I was like, why don't you just tell me that as soon as we get over here? Like, so I just tried to grab my >> What part of the store did that happen? >> Right up at the front. >> At the front over here at the subway by the alarm. There's a thing right there. Did he say anything when he pulled the gun? >> Um, he was like >> or did he just like go like this? >> Is that what he did? Right. As soon as as soon as he said something to me, I ignored him because I have problems with this person. So, I'm like not even allowed to talk to them. >> Is he still in the store? >> I don't think so. I was on push card and out the >> Do you have a photo of him? >> Uh, I might be able to look up like them on Facebook. She recounted the incident in a highly dramatic manner, but when she was questioned further, suspicion gradually surfaced as she failed to provide clear details about her own story. >> Did he like make a threat towards you when he pulled the gun? >> I don't know because I'm screaming at her to come on. I'm screaming at her to come on cuz obviously scared at that point. So I'm like, can you come on? >> Is this your daughter? >> No, it's my cousin. My husband's not here. You know, my kids are home. I'm just here to grab some juice, get some eggs. And of course, yeah, but you didn't see the gun. No, I did see him. I seen him trying to pull something out. That's what I just said to you. I seen him trying to pull something out. >> But you weren't able to identify what it was. >> I can tell you exactly what it looked like. Black black holster, black in where his hand was. I can tell you exactly what it look like. >> We can check if there's a no contact order. >> Yeah, I know for a fact. I had to sign it. I know. >> What? Do you have your ID on you? >> Yeah. >> Thank you. here. >> Up to that point, the woman appeared cooperative, but her demeanor shifted noticeably once police uncovered certain details in her records. >> Okay. So, you don't have a protection order with anyone. The protection order states that you can't possess firearms. That's what it says. >> No, I have a no contact order with him. I know I >> No, you don't. I just ran your name. >> It's not underneath that name. I've been married since then. >> Okay. But when your supervisor, please. >> He's not going to come out for this. When we run this >> doesn't mean he's not going to come out for this. >> When we run this, ma'am, this number right here, your social is linked to that. >> When you get married at the DMV, you get a new driver's license identification number. >> I know that for a fact. I have my own driver's license and that one, my new one. Please call your supervisor or I'll call the non-emergency number and request. >> What do you need the supervisor for? >> Because you're not doing your job. You just told me I have a I don't have a no contact ordering. You said just because it's not in that. >> He's going to tell you the same thing. >> Um, somebody needs to come up here right now because he's trying to tell me I don't have a no contact order and he wasn't even going to try to ask or have any explanation. He's just trying to shrug me off. So, >> she made an additional 911 call simply because the situation did not go the way she wanted and that very decision led to consequences she never intended. >> What is my emergency? Uh, somebody brandished a firearm on me and my a 10-year-old child. >> He's here now. >> We were already here. Put the phone down. >> Are you supervisor? >> He's not. >> Put the phone down. Alissa, >> I'm on the phone with non-emergency. Please stop. >> Okay. >> No. No. No. >> You're under. My kids are at home. >> Wait. What are you guys doing? A firearm is brandished on me. You will. >> No. Please. I'm going to do resisting. Help. >> Wait. Get sprayed if YOU KEEP IT UP. >> I'M NOT RESISTING. I'M >> YOU WILL GET SPRAYED IF YOU keep it up. >> I'm requesting a supervisor. >> That's obstruction, too. [screaming] >> Please help me. Help me. I'm How am I obstructing? >> I'm not doing anything. PLEASE, SOMEBODY HELP RECORD THIS. Please >> just walk and see. >> Chaos erupted as the woman insisted on portraying herself as the victim. And the disruption she created continued even as she was being escorted out. >> I didn't, babe. I had my arms out. You beat me. >> What's wrong with her? Oh, you're hurting me. Please. I have a bad shoulder. I have a torn rotator cuff. Please. Please. You're hurting me. I'm serious. Please stop. [laughter] You're hurting me. And you guys tried to slam me. I was not resisting. I was on the phone with you. I was on the phone with an operator. An operator told me a supervisor was on the way. >> You cannot arrest me when an operator. >> No. An operator told me a supervisor was on the way. >> DO WE HAVE TO FIX THE CAR? >> Please help. >> Let me take I didn't misuse you. I have a torn rotator belt. a supervisor. >> That's why we're fixing that, man. >> We're trying to fix it and you keep pulling AGAINST IT. >> I'M NOT. I HAVE A TORN ROTATOR. >> Then hold still and zip your mouth. >> It has to go up front. >> No, that's not the way it works. >> It does. I have a torn rope. >> You You resist arrest and that's why >> I cannot resist arrest. You guys cannot tell me what I was going to >> Wait a second. Please, can I please I requested a supervisor and they said a supervisor was on the way. >> You don't call 911 for that. I didn't call 911. I was on the phone with the regular department and they transferred me. I was on the I was on the phone with the non-emergency. He transferred me. >> That's not what dispatch said. >> Yes, it was. He transferred me. I have it in my call log. It's on there. >> Okay. County has live 911, which he it shows who's calling >> and I was at what time it's calling. >> I was transferred to them. >> She claimed she had been threatened and insisted her shoulder was injured. Yet even that seemed insufficient as she soon latched on to another issue. >> Please sit. I need a supervisor. Please, I can't go to jail. I just had a newborn. >> I just had a newborn. My uterus, PLEASE. >> NO, [screaming] PLEASE. I JUST HAD A BABY. THEY'RE HURTING ME. PLEASE. PLEASE. >> WELL, IF YOU WOULD SAY, WOULD IT [screaming] HAVE HURTING ME? [screaming] PLEASE HELP MY BABY. Please don't do that. [screaming] >> GET IN THE CAR. >> I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. >> YOU DIDN'T GIVE HIM ANY OPPORTUNITY. >> I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. >> GET IN THE CAR. >> I DIDN'T DO NOTHING. Please call a supervisor. PLEASE. I CAN'T GO TO JAIL. >> I CAN'T. [screaming] I HAVE A KID at home. Please, MY HUSBAND DOESN'T GET OFF FOR ANOTHER 3 HOURS. Help. Call an ambulance. >> She's resisting getting in the back. Let's get ANOTHER UNIT OVER. >> NO. NO. NO. CALL AN AMBULANCE. I CAN'T BREATHE. I can't breathe. Help. I need my [screaming] Please. [laughter] SHE WAS CHARGED WITH two counts of resisting an officer without violence, battery on a law enforcement officer, and misuse of 911. The charges were later amended to resisting an officer without violence and misuse of 911. This case showed how exaggeration, inconsistency, and misuse of emergency services can quickly turn a claim of victimhood into serious legal consequences. Next, this woman completely lost control of herself. And the chips came up to pay and you were like, "No, like you can't >> like you need to leave." [screaming] >> Uhoh. >> We're waiting for a girl police officer. Okay. >> On December 24th, 2024, officers approached a woman suspected of being involved in a theft at a 71. When questioned, she appeared very calm, but her statements were filled with suspicion. >> How's it going? Hey, where uh where did you just come from? >> Go. >> Okay. What store were you at before that? >> I was at my grandpa's house. Why >> were you at the uh 7-Eleven before the Sonoka? >> Yeah, the lady is being crazy. >> Okay. What? Could you just tell me what happened over there? >> I just left. She's [ __ ] me crazy. >> Okay. Did you take anything from there? >> No, this is stuff that I got that I bought. >> That's from the other store. >> Yeah. Okay, let me just let me just verify and I'll get you on your way. Do you have an ID on you? >> No, no ID. >> You don't have an ID on you. >> You okay? >> Yeah, it's just >> No, I understand. We're just trying to We just got called, so we just have to check into it. >> That's all. No big deal. >> What's your uh first name? >> Michaela. >> M. How you spell that? >> Uh why do I got to give you my name? because we're investigating to see whether you are the person we're looking for. >> Around the same time, another officer arrived at the store where they had a clear account confirming the woman's presence there. >> You call on a shoplifter? >> Yes. Yes. I have the picture that I took on my phone of >> Okay. What did she take? She took a bag of chips like the kettle chips that be included in her counter and come up some kind of like >> Do you want to press charges? >> Um definitely want to trespass, but I think we pro I think if I asked my the owner probably. So we have like one good picture over here. This is from the other day. But this is the woman. And then the next um the next time uh she came in was well she came in just earlier with called and then before that it was yesterday and stole some things yesterday but I was yesterday. >> So when you just called a couple minutes ago she came in right before that and chopped up good. >> Yes. So she she was here to pay but I wouldn't sell it to her hopefully thinking that she would make it round. But um there was another customer that I was trying to help. She said she was on a bike going south. >> So she came in and got like the noodles and the chips came up to pay and you were like no like you can't >> too much you need to leave and then did she just walk out with the stuff? >> I um are you able to you can take care of him but then can you get me like a receipt for those two things? >> Um yeah. Uh I'm not even exactly sure but I'll I'll grab a thing. >> Yeah. Just just whatever you know 100%. she took. And then while you're doing that, >> returning to the suspect, officers now faced a new issue with her identity as she used every personal excuse to make it difficult for them to obtain her information. >> Hitler, >> your last name. Are you giving me the proper ID? Don't give me false ID cuz I don't want to get you in trouble. >> No, but I'm not. That's the That's the thing. >> Your last name is >> But that's why I don't That's why I didn't even want to tell you because if you're not going to You're like Like you're like other people. You're either you know me or you don't. So I just I I >> don't know you. I don't know you personally. No, I don't. But we got a call for something that happened at the store. So, I either have to make a positive ID on you or let you go. >> She said she's going to trespass me from there. And I said we can't. >> We can't because you're not on the property. >> I won't go back in there. But that's [ __ ] >> And that's fine. That's fine. I'm not here to trespass you. Is your last name actually really Hitler or No. >> My last name's >> H I T. >> L E R. And Michaela, how do I spell your first name, please? M I >> M I >> Mhm. >> K. >> Mhm. >> A Y. >> I don't got my last name. >> What's that? >> I don't go by that last name. >> Yeah, whatever. >> No, you got to give me your you got to give me your first name and last name. What's your first name or your last name? >> I did. >> You said Michaela. >> I know. >> But you're not you're not spelling your name. >> I understand. You're either going to trust us or you're not. >> It's not a matter of that right now. If you can't even identify yourself to me during an investigation, then you automatically go to jail for failing to >> I actually told you >> provide your ID. And I asked you to spell your name for me. >> M I K A. >> Okay. M I K A. >> Can you continue, please? >> L. >> Okay. And last name is H I T L E R. >> Mhm. >> Okay. Do you have a middle initial? >> The woman showed no concern for what was happening, even continuing to eat as if the situation wasn't becoming more serious. >> Why would I not come? Oh, because my birthday. Because I tried to tell you that because I was given a like that's what I'm trying to tell you. >> Sure. >> Are like are you even gonna get I'm sorry to be disrespectful. Are you gonna give a >> Yeah, absolutely. >> Well, my birthday because the people that had me were pieces of [ __ ] >> Okay. Well, I'm sorry. >> I'm just trying to learn my birthday, but you I'm trying to get back and >> you are helping out. >> I'm not against you. Mama [ __ ] Hey, I'm not I'm not against you. I'm sorry for the people that are, but what's your actual date of birth? >> Literally just told you >> that. So, >> so you're going to failure to identify. It's going to be a charge. I don't want you to have a charge. >> Okay. You know what? We can go ahead and do this. How about the bike? >> What the Hold on. Wait. I'm not I'm not failing to do anything. >> Yeah, but you're being detained for shoplifting right now. >> What? >> You're being detained. You're not under arrest. You're being detailed. >> Okay. Now, you're going to jail because I'm not out. >> You're not under arrest. >> Thank you. You're not under arrest, but you're being detained >> while we complete this investigation. >> You're not allowed to do this. >> But you will have a charge for failing to identify if you >> Okay, that's what we're going to go with. >> I gave you my birth date and everything. >> Okay, I'll find it. >> We're going to go We're going to go with that. >> Find my name in the computer. >> We're going to go with that. >> We're going to go with failure to identify you. >> I just identified myself though. >> I asked you and you didn't want to call. >> Yes, I did. And I gave you my birthday. >> What's your birthday? Your first name. M. I did spell it. M I K A Y L A Hitler. H I T L E R. I didn't do anything wrong. >> And he just put me in cuffs. >> She thought she was only being detained for giving a false name, but she panicked when things didn't go her way, even going as far as verbally lashing out at the officers. >> I'll hold ON TO YOU. >> PLEASE HELP ME. >> IN A MINUTE, YOU'RE going [laughter] to get another. >> I want to go. I want to go. I WANT TO GO. >> YOU'RE GOING TO GET >> I WANT TO GO. >> YOU'RE GOING TO GET A THIRD CHARGE. >> I WANT TO GO. YOU ugly piece of [ __ ] >> I'll add that to it. >> Good. You're going to jail. All three of you will be in jail. I promise you. >> All right. You have the right to remain off. That's not that [screaming] >> got three charges so far. >> Yeah. Well, eat my How about that? >> Doesn't matter to me. >> My How about that? >> It's on you. >> Eat my How about that? Your officers will. Your officers will. >> Where did I go first? >> Yep. And they already have. Y'all are going down. Like that was a good one. Y'all did great this time. You pissed me off just enough. >> Okay. >> [ __ ] What did I do again? Well, you're a liar. You Oh, you're >> Oh, you're a pedophile. Yes, I am. The woman was ultimately charged with petty theft, providing false identification, and threatening a law enforcement officer. Trying to deceive authorities and avoid responsibility only made the situation worse as dishonesty and aggression quickly escalated a minor offense into far more serious consequences. >> So, right now, you're just getting detained for shoplifting. Okay. >> Oh my bad stuff. Come on. >> On May 17th, 2025, police rushed to Walmart after a call reported a familiar thief returning, confident to pull the same old trick. Let's see how she paid the price this time. Hello. >> Hey, ma'am. So, right now, you're just getting detained for shoplifting. Okay. >> Oh, no. I'm buying stuff. >> Okay. So, right now you're just being detained. You're not arrested or anything. So, as of now, you are >> But I'm trying to buy >> Do what? >> I'm buying some stuff. >> Are you buying super glue? >> Yeah, I'm buying some stuff >> in your purse. >> Yeah, super glue. >> But I ain't walked out the store yet. I'm feeling vi. >> When confronted by police, the suspect insisted she was just shopping and hadn't left the store. As if that made her innocent. Unfortunately for her, she ran into officers who weren't buying it. You happen to have an ID on you at all? >> No, but not >> on your purse or anything. >> I'm saying >> you have a driver's license on you? >> No. Okay. >> But >> did you drive here? >> I had caught a ride. But I'm saying like when you go to Kroger's and Publix, you can put stuff in the bag >> in in a in a dedicated shopping bag that has been bought by them. It's a recyclable bag. That's your purse that has all your other personal items in it. >> It ain't nothing ain't nothing. It's empty. Ain't nothing in there but my phone and my money >> with your personal items, right? So your purse, your little phone, and then everything else in there. So with the statue, it is concealing items, >> but >> in a bag. >> I went, what's your >> All right, we're going to go ahead and head over there so you can talk to them and everything. Okay, >> walk with us. She tried to justify herself by claiming stuffing items into her purse was no different than using a reusable bag at Kroger or Publix. A dozen lies followed, including about her ID. >> Um, so Miss is stating that, you know, obviously, hey, I'm going to buy these. Um, I was just putting them in my purse. Uh, so I go to check out. Um, so it's probably here to dispel any kind of confusion as to why this is shoplifting and, um, if you'd like to press charges, ma'am. >> Yeah. So, um, did y'all get everything out of the >> Yeah, there's like a dozen items that were in the purse. >> So, I mean, you have a cart. So, the cart is what the what's, you know, let's be real. I mean, honestly, you have a cart. That's what the cart is for, not your purse. You don't put the items in your purse. And if you were just doing that, why you you do it so secretly like that? That's not how people shop and get their >> That's not secretly on right there on the island. >> Okay. >> Um well, yeah, I want to prosecute. So, we'll let the um the judge decide. That's fine. So, the judge may agree with you. The judge may say, "Hey, she was just putting it in her first." When the store manager confronted her, she kept pretending she intended to pay later, even though a dozen items were already hidden. That only strengthened their decision to prosecute her. >> I can pay for I was going to pay for the stuff. Like, I wasn't going to walk out the store with the stuff. >> Okay. And you can tell the judge that. That's fine. >> But I'm telling you, like I really don't I got my child outside. >> Is your child in the car, Jody? >> Yeah. Like I want to pay for it. [ __ ] Can I just pay for it? >> J, which car is he in here? She in cuz we got a bigger issue now. Where's your What car? You said you were dropped off here. >> No, I had caught a ride. >> Is Do you have a child outside, ma'am? >> Yeah. Yeah. With my ride. I don't know if >> The shocking part came when she admitted a child was waiting outside in a car, but her excuse only made police wonder what else she was hiding. Come on. Can I Can I talk? >> You know, you're actually bar. You're not supposed to be here. Come on. >> Okay. The next thing. >> Jody. >> Ma'am. Okay. But I'm trying to talk. Can I >> You don't need to talk to her. This is our business. >> Okay. Okay. >> You're bar for this location. Come on. >> Okay. >> Jody. Jody. Come on. >> The other item. Standal. >> Stand up. Please. >> Just ring those up and get a receipt. >> Right. But you weren't supposed to be on the property to begin with. I thought they said um I was barred from OK. >> Well, you stole from them, too. So, you're barred from them, too. I would assume got caught in both places. So, how >> come on? >> Huh? >> There's nothing else to talk about. >> When exposed for being previously banned from Walmart over theft, the suspect still tried stalling the officers as if she had the right to negotiate her foolish repeat offense. So, will I get out tonight? >> Probably. >> We'll take a look at you from my husband everything and if you you know if they give you a bond within their right to >> I will have a bond >> to I I'm not sure. Once you get to the jail, you ask them. We'll let you know. As long as you cooperate, we'll get you on the phone. Get you out of there. Okay. >> Yeah. >> Cuz you know how long it might take? >> I mean, here in Athens, it's usually pretty quick. Like 24 hours or less. 24 hours. >> I mean, that's a day. >> I don't want to do a day. >> I don't know how many counts that you have, whether it be a misdemeanor or a felony. I think it's up to like four. You have to shoplift like four or five times before it's a felony. >> On the way to the patrol car, she begged for same day release. Still delusional, but it was already too late. In the end, she was formally charged with retail theft and criminal trespass. This case is a reminder. Stealing isn't just a mistake. It's a choice that leaves a permanent mark. No excuse, [music] no delay can erase the consequence. Next, the female soldier also caused chaos right at the airport entrance. >> I'm trying to help you. >> No, I'm not scaring you guys. >> Did you just say you graduated from basic training? >> Did I get him and get him out? THAT'S ALL THE I CARE ABOUT, RIGHT? >> On the 30th of July 2024, police received a report of a disturbance at an airport in Washington. The suspect was believed to be a woman who had caused a series of serious incidents after just landing, forcing a partial shutdown of the airport system. She even made the situation more tense when police approached. >> How about you shut the up? >> I haven't talked to you at all yet. >> Yeah, you haven't. So, what's up? >> We're trying to figure out what's going on. >> Yeah. Where's my bags? You want to You want to look up my name? You don't even know my name, do you? >> Oh, you're a police officer. So, you automatically do, huh? No, you don't. Because my name was never. >> Why are you yelling at me? >> Am I? Am I? >> You're raising your voice. >> Okay. So, look me up. >> You're being audio record. >> Look me up. >> I need my bags. That's what the I just said, right? >> You can figure out some solutions, girls. >> I just said you when you don't have business, sir. >> I don't have business here. >> Where did I come from? Where'd I come from? >> Tell me. >> Am I a what? Sorry. Paper army. So, what's the word? Um, >> I'm a name. >> No, that's not what the I said, right? >> That's what I said. >> No. What's the word? It's a It's a uh I'mma hang with the up on you cuz you're not cooking me. >> It's a I don't know what the [ __ ] the word is to it. What's up? >> What's up? Cuz you left me. You're in your car. Whatever. I don't give a [ __ ] >> I got off Alaska Airlines. I could not carry my bags on my own. They were over 50 lb. My fiance came in here to carry my bags. Uh I could not find my bags. That's what you want me to say, right? Right. >> You should have known that this was not the right tone when you tried to tell a story to exonerate yourself. This temper itself proved that you could have been the cause of the incident. Even afterward, you admitted that you were no longer in a normal state. >> One, two, mother. Three. Take me to jail if you want to. >> I don't even know what happened. That's why you're being you were talking with me. >> Right. I got drunk all my life. >> I cannot carry my bags. So my fiance came to pick me up. Are you listening or not? You can take me to jail. I don't give a [ __ ] >> Where did you leave? So checks or these bags? >> They're checks. >> So I'm at the checkback area, right? Baggage claim. Yeah. >> Yeah. Baggage claim logistics check. We can acknowledge that or not. >> Why causing a breach alarm to go off? Meaning you went >> I don't care. I don't care. >> I don't care. >> And now I went to where? I went to where? Where I was not supposed to be. >> Where to actually talk to me? Write a report. >> Write a report. >> Okay. >> Let's Let's Yeah, cuz I own businesses. So, let's go ahead and do that. Let's do that and see how far it goes. D. You don't even know how to talk to me, [ __ ] >> Shut up. >> YOU'RE NOT YOU'RE NOT cuz where's my bags? You're not helping me. If my bags ain't here, >> right? >> So, I don't >> Yeah, you're so You're so in charge. >> Yeah, you're so in charge. If my dad was on the phone versus my husband, >> you would shut the up. You would shut the up. >> Okay. >> So, boom. >> Okay. Well, you just got to work through >> No, this is this is too funny because if it was my dad here, he would have carried my bags and it wouldn't be no problem. But I'm really drunk. I just came from the military. I in my bag in my bag there's a military ID. >> She repeatedly claimed that she was a soldier as if that would prove she would not commit any crime. Even she carried out actions that immediately forced the police to intervene. >> Yeah. I was trying to grab her. >> What's up? No, no, no, no, no. Stay, stay, stay, stay, stay. >> I'm going to stand by him. >> No, no. You're going to walk back up there because they're directing. Because you're being detained. >> You don't get to walk free right now. They're already telling you you're detained right now. So, walk back up there. I'm going to put you in handcuffs. >> Okay. It can be said that this woman had nothing but arrogance and an ego that was far from small. After repeatedly insisting she was a soldier, she continued to assert that she held a significant position. But it seemed that none of this helped her at all. >> And I could I could look, I own businesses. I own LLC's. [ __ ] I've been in Lamborghini. Then what? Then what? Then um she started just walking and I stood up and I told her to stop and that's when she told me. She's like, "What are you going to do then? Stop me bitch." And then and then that's when I told her like stop and then she just kept going and then she's like I need to get my that's when one of our coworkers went chasing after her and then I pressed the bridge button and as she was walking out um she was just like you're like I didn't punch you out. >> Thought she was going to punch you. >> I thought she did she like fall? >> Yeah. I really don't care. >> The suspect was charged with criminal trespass, obstruction of law enforcement, and resisting arrest. Disregarding rules, refusing cooperation, and escalating conflict with authorities only led to more serious consequences and full legal accountability. Next, let's meet this boom woman. So, shut your up. HEY, >> BOY. WE'LL BLOW YOU IN CHICAGO. Don't ever come up on us. >> Okay, cool. >> Boom. On the 28th of December 2025, police were dispatched to a convenience store after receiving a report about a woman causing a disturbance there. And this was what happened when officers approached her. >> What's going on? >> I'm chilling. >> Apparently not. LET'S GO. >> And I don't know how you want to hang. >> Yeah. I don't know how I >> don't know how to do the ground if you don't if you don't stop. >> You win. >> I promise you, you don't want that. >> Yeah. I kind of figured that this one here. >> Hey, you realize you did this to yourself, right? >> What do we do? >> We say, "Yeah, she wants her to be arrested for disorderly. She got in that woman's car out there. She She wants something done. >> Yeah, I'm going to go talk to her. Pretty much she's been trying to get her leave for an hour and a half. I promise. >> Yeah, you can chill out. >> In the end, the woman was charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing justice, resisting arrest, and battery. [music] This incident showed that refusing to control one's behavior and constantly challenging law enforcement only made the situation worse. Instead of avoiding trouble, the woman's aggressive and irrational actions ultimately led to more serious charges and consequences. Next, the theft spiraled into something much bigger than anyone expected. >> Atlanta, please. >> We got the other one. >> Oh, hey now. >> Hey now. Hey now. >> On the 5th of September 2024, police received a call from a victim reporting that their credit card had been used at a Waw Wa store. Officers quickly arrived on the scene and apprehended the suspect, realizing immediately that this case would not be straightforward. >> Atlanta, please. >> We got the other one. >> Oh, hey now. Hey now. Hey now. Where'd that money go? Did it take it back in there? >> All right. Hey, >> funny. Let's go. >> This guy's all zeroed up, too. Wearing a mask. >> This suspect was identified as just one member of a group stealing money from credit cards. known to hit multiple ATMs to withdraw between 3,000 and $11,000. Meanwhile, other suspects also appeared at the scene. >> Hey, sit by the car. I talk to you real quick. >> All right. >> You got a gun on you? >> No. >> Where's the gun at? >> Uh, it's in a trunk. >> Okay. All right. >> Here. Come here. Come here. We're going to take this stuff off. Got me. Yeah. You're >> just being detained. All right. >> All right. your phone. >> I'll explain to you in just a second. Okay. >> All right. Any other guns uh in the trunk or just Are you in the car? Just in the trunk? >> Yeah. I just left the gun range just in a uh back. >> Hey, sir. >> Hey, sir. >> How you doing, sir? I'm officer Range Atlanta Police Department. You want to step out of the car for me? We'll talk to you, explain everything in a second. Put your arms out here. Be detained. Okay. for the active. >> You got any weapons? Anything sharp, bro? >> All right. >> Yeah. >> Anything else in the vehicle I should know about? >> Just smoking a little bit of weed or something. I got picked up. >> What's up? >> I just got picked up from >> Okay. Whose car is this? Your car? >> Uh-uh. >> Okay. Is this friend's car? >> Yeah. Got you. Okay. >> One in the back seat. >> Yeah. >> All right. We're just going to walk over here. I'll bring your phone with you. >> This is your car. >> Yeah. >> Come on over here to this car. >> Off to town. 122. We got two. >> It was clear that the suspects were fully aware of what had happened. Yet during the escort, the man still brazantly denied his actions. >> What's your name? >> My name is Kesan. >> Quesan. I'm just going to patch you down. Make sure you don't have any other guns on you. Okay. Right over here. >> So, I see the holster, but no guns, right? No, no guns. It's in the trunk. >> That's fine. You just ask him. Face my car. I'm going to take the holster off you real quick. Okay. >> Okay. >> Just going to patch it down. Make sure you have another weapons or anything on it. You got your ID on you? >> Nah, I just know it by heart. >> I'm going to pull your pants up a little bit here for you. >> What the hell happened? >> We see in a second. We have >> I'm trying to overdraft my car for some gas. >> Is that what it is? >> Yeah. >> You got a bunch of cash in your pocket right there though, bro. >> No, that's $300. >> Yeah, but why you going to overdraft your car for gasoline? >> Cuz Navy Federal let you overdraft up to 225 >> and they don't charge you like a fee. N the thing is your card going to go negative after 2 days. >> So you just like floating the money? >> Yeah, I'm doing Apple Pay. >> Okay. Hey, face my car real quick. >> I got Navy Federal though. It's my personal bank. >> He initially admitted that the Navy Federal card was his. But shortly after while explaining how he used it, he gave a different statement. >> Threatened you or promised you anything to get you to speak? >> All right. So what what was going on with your whole card situation? >> All right. So uh basically if you uh we trying to get Phillips right now, right? >> Mhm. So, you know, you could overdraft up to 225 >> with Navy Federal. >> Yeah, Navy Federal, any bank account. Okay. >> Like, say you got uh PNC, anything. >> So, if you uh put the card in, say you got like $2 on your car, you could overdraft some some of it 100, some of it 200, 225. All right. Mine 225. So, boom. Say we don't got no gas. We don't want to pay for gas. DN. If you put it in there, if you put the card in there, if you do it from the inside, it's not going to let you do it. the the pump is like credit. So if you put the card in and then you take it out, it's going to take the money that's on there, your $10, and it's going to keep going and it's going to stop at 100. So if he give me $20, I like overdraft my card and just pay it back later. I got Navy Federal though. Okay. >> Like my card you're using was Navy Federal. >> My personal bank account. No, it's his card. >> It's his card. >> Yeah, but Navy Federal do it and Fidili do it too. PNC do it. Chase, everybody. I'm saying but the one today was Navy Federal. >> Nidili his car. My Navy Federal. >> So I got Navy Federal. >> Which card were we using at the pumps today? >> Oh, I ain't using no I ain't using no car. He only the only one who used the car. >> At this point, police also searched the suspect's vehicle and discovered multiple pieces of evidence that could lead to additional charges. >> Uh headquarters add another tag. 75 Bravo Romeo Bravo Charlie. All right. When you're ready, >> go ahead, please. >> AJ 320 320. >> Yeah, there's another mag. Yeah, I haven't checked that trunk either. Yep, here it is. The men were charged with multiple counts of credit card fraud, possession of stolen financial information, and providing false statements to law enforcement. Attempting to manipulate or steal from others, even with clever schemes, inevitably leads to consequences. Pretending innocence or lying to authorities, rarely works. Honesty and accountability are the only ways to avoid escalating trouble. Even more strangely, the theft involving this man seemed even more unbelievable. >> I got to do all that. >> I'm just asking. We got cameras. I just want to tell the truth. >> You can run the cameras, bro. >> Valid registrations. >> That's [ __ ] man. You know it, man. Why y'all ain't detaining the other dudes? >> On the 17th of July 2023, police received a call from a shopping mall reporting a lost ring. But strangely, shortly after, a man claimed ownership of it, raising several suspicions. Listen to the doubts coming from the loss prevention employee. >> What's going on? >> Not much. We got a gentleman in the location who claimed the ring, a wedding ring that didn't belong to him. >> How'd he claim it? >> Um, >> he just walked up. >> Actually, some someone turned it into one of the other officers >> and obviously he was in the area and he overheard him. So when the officer came to record it in here, he came down and said, "Oh, did y'all find a ring? It belonged to me." >> Mhm. >> So just so happened as he walked out, >> y'all gave him the ring. >> Yeah. >> Because he he somewhat described it cuz he overheard the other officer describing it, but the actual owner had called and um described it as well. The one thing he didn't There's the lieutenant. >> Hey, how you doing, man? >> So where's he at? He works in the mall. >> Right there. He works on a kiosk out >> and he's saying that he dared to come to his dad, but he never left the home. >> Yeah. And >> Oh, you guys went and said something to him. >> I went and talked to him. I'm the one that signed off the ring. So, he came and claim it like, "Oh, that's my ring." So, I had him fill out the paperwork and sign off on it. And next, something told me to put next to it just in case I forget cuz I have a bad memory. I put kios next to it just in case cuz I know something wasn't right. So, I went over there and talked to him like, "Sir, the person that owns the ring actually had caught." He said, "Oh yeah, man. That was a marine. That was my dad ring. I already given it to my dad, but he never left the kiosk. >> Shortly after, the police approached the suspect. But at that moment, his statement once again differed from what he had previously told the loss prevention staff. >> I'm officer saw the Don Police Department. The reason I'm out here with you. Where's the ring? That's >> Was it your ring? >> Yeah, I ran. >> What the ring look like? >> It's my dad. >> So your dad lost it in the mall? >> I did. I cashed out. >> You what? >> I bought it. >> Uh-huh. Where'd you buy it from? >> I bought it from McDonald's >> today. >> Yesterday. >> Yes, sir. You got the receipt? I got the receipt from you. >> You don't got the receipt? They ain't email you receipt or nothing like that? >> What store you bought it from? You in here? >> No. I said in Lawrenville. >> In Lawrenville. So, what store? >> Killers. >> So, if I went up to K Jewelers and called them, they would say, "Yes, Mr. So and so." You got your ID? >> I don't. >> You ain't got no ID on you? >> No. >> All right. He's going to write down your name. Your name and date of birth. Go from there. So, we searched you have no ring on. >> I searched. All right. Give me your name and date of birth. >> You know the mall got cameras, right? >> Yeah. >> So, I'm going ask you again. I just want you to be honest with me. >> Was that your ring? >> Yes. >> It was your dad's ring. >> My cop gun. So I get you to call your dad, he gonna say, "Yeah, that I got a ring and all that." >> I gota do all that. >> I'm just asking. We got cameras. I just want I just want you to tell the truth. >> You can run the cameras, bro. >> I can search you. >> He changed his story, claiming the ring was his instead of his father's as he had previously fabricated. The police confronted him about it, but he came up with another excuse to cover it up. >> Then you they went up to you and you said that that's my dad's ring. And now all of a sudden it's not your ring, it's your dad's ring. It's my fox ring. I brought a phone. >> Okay, then what's your dad's number? We just got to confirm. >> That's what I'm saying. I know. >> We got to do an investigation of what happened. >> How y'all doing investigation? >> Cuz I'm about to call your dad. If your dad says, "Yes, I lost a ring. My son gave it to me." LA, then we can go from there. >> Right. >> I'm saying it feel comfortable having my dad like I need to call my >> Then how we supposed to >> is that that's what it's looking for. >> How we supposed to confirm? >> I'm just saying my my arm is a part of life. I need to call. >> Okay. do that. But I don't >> I can call your mom then and she can verify and call your dad. >> I don't know first drug first. >> Okay. So what's your dad's number? >> I'm saying why you got I don't feel comfortable giving you my dad number. >> What's your name? >> My name Jamal. >> Jamal. You don't got that ring? >> I don't have a ring. Jamal. My dad is My dad's mother. >> Where'd you lose the ring at? >> I lo in the bathroom. >> You lost it in the bathroom. In the sink. >> Yes. I don't got no reason to lie to you, bro. I'm just saying. That's what I'm saying. I done been I been in trouble before. I know I know the ins and out, bro. I didn't I don't got I got a job. I got I'm not hurt. >> His speech became increasingly hesitant and stuttered, making it obvious that he was growing nervous. The police quickly took action to ensure he couldn't flee. >> You give me your dad's phone number and I can verify with your dad. We can go from there. Tune in. This the route we going to go. Okay. I'm >> saying, bro, like what? >> It's crazy. >> Where's the quickest way back to the security office? >> Yeah, I don't know. >> I told you if you let me call your dad, we can go we can go that route. >> What I'm saying though, bro, I don't feel comfortable doing that. >> That's why because you going to be placed under arrest for theft by deception because you claimed the ring that somebody else claimed. So, I'm going to place you under arrest unless I can call your dad and verify. If not, >> take me to jail for >> I'm going to take you to jail. >> But so what? How we going to know? How we know if you tell me the truth, though? >> Well, we going to see. That's why I got to investigate cuz right now you not cuz you ain't let me call you dad. Anybody else would be like cuz if it was me and you I know you not me. >> I got no in trouble, bro. You know what I'm saying? I ain't got no reason to lie to y'all, bro. I got to check the camera. >> We about to do all that. You could have just gave the ring back. >> A short while later, the police quickly picked up a lead on the ring. >> Hey, man. What's going on? You found the ring? >> Yeah, the guy at that booth behind him. >> Yeah. >> He told me the guy left the ring in there in in the bathroom. >> What guy? Did he describe the guy? >> And then he went came told me. I said, "Well, go get the ring and bring it back to me." >> Did he describe the guy? Now he he just seen him there and then he get a good glimpse at him >> but he brought it to so bring it back ring back to me >> and then I said I'm going to take it to my lieutenant which he got it >> and it has some I was trying to read the descriptions on there you know has some inside and outside. >> Yeah. >> You know after I gave it to the captain 5 minutes later he came back talking about it was his ring. He couldn't describe what was on the inside of the ring or the outside. >> He couldn't describe it >> and then your captain gave it to him. >> Mhm. We had him sign the paperwork in the office saying that it was his ring. >> All right. Give me one second. >> Hey, Mr. How you doing? >> I'm good. I'm good. I'm sorry. I'm still >> No, you're okay. Do you have pictures of the ring? >> So, you're looking for like a picture with me and the ring in it? >> Yeah, it all every single picture of the ring you have. Send it to me. >> Still investigating right now, man. What we going to do is if anything, at the very least, you going to receive a citation for that marijuana. I got my license in Florida. >> You in Florida? >> Y. Oh, damn. That's me. That little Meech. >> Is that who that is? >> Yeah. Little Meech. >> Damn, man. I'm supposed to get a picture, too, man. I just man like this, man. I ain't got no reason. >> It became clear that the man had lied in an attempt to take the ring. And shortly after, the police found [music] it inside the suspect's car. That looks like it. So, I'm not sure. >> Yeah, it looks like the ring in there is >> I can't see the writings on it. But it looks like >> that's the ring right there. It's gold. >> It's gold. >> Yep. That's it right there. >> It's there. >> The ring. >> How do you know >> it's there? >> You see it? >> Yes. >> Where? >> In the car in the cup holder called Lahan. He says, "No, we can't grab it." That we have to impound it and take a search warrant on it. >> That's right. >> You can ask him right now. Hey, >> we see the ring. You got two options. You let us go in there. Your car stays here. We don't impound it. You say no. We're going to impound your car, get a search warrant on it, and then you got to go get it anyway. So, you got two options. Okay. >> You got two options. We see the ring in your car in the cup holder. You can give us consent to go get it and we go from there, or I'm going to impound your car and get a search. Either way it go, I don't >> I just told you I got two rings. >> I understand that. But give us consent to make sure that one's not the one, and then you good. But if not, I'mma impound it and go in there anyway. >> In the end, there was only one ring, and the man was charged with theft by deception and possession of marijuana. When someone thought lying could outsmart the truth, it only led them straight into consequences because deception always leaves a trail. >> Matter of fact, that's that's what I have on video here of here. You can see her bag is so so full. And then when when she came, >> you would like to deny me life-saving my medical device. >> You could be reasonable. On the 4th of March 2024, officers responded to a reported retail theft involving a woman suspected of concealing multiple items beneath her jacket. Upon arriving at the scene, the store's loss prevention employee even provided evidence proving the theft. >> So, she was at Sephora. >> Yeah, there's a Sephora inside of Kohl's. I was watching the cameras. I saw that she had a bag like underneath her jacket, which I thought was strange. I started to watch her on cameras and and I saw that she would select items off the shelves, put them into the bag. The bag was getting bigger and then eventually she exited the store without paying. I confronted her. I said, "Hey, I'm lost rent with coals. I'd like you to, you know, give me my stuff back." She paid ignorance. I don't know what you're talking about, man. Get away from me. I don't have nothing. I said, "Why don't you just give me the stuff back? We'll trespass you. You know, you'd be on your way." She said, "I don't have anything. Get away from me." And then she she ran from poles over this way. She went into Firestone here and her bag was very full at that time. Um, matter of fact, that's that's what I have on video here of here. You can see her bag is so so full. And then when when she came out of the bathroom there, I didn't follow her into the bathroom. I just waited, you know, and then when she came out, her bag was flat like a pancake. And so obviously I knew something's got to be going on. >> So is that stuff you recovered from there? >> Correct. Let me just save this real quick. >> Meanwhile, officers approached the woman after she fled to a medical center and she immediately began creating her own version of the situation in an attempt to deflect anything the police brought up. >> Hello, ma'am. >> He chased me across traffic. >> Okay. It's probably cuz >> maybe you had stuff that didn't belong to you. >> He's accusing me of that. No, I didn't do anything wrong. >> Okay. >> He said, "So if nothing happened you and I said, "That's fine. You can trespass me." >> Okay. >> I said, "I've been walking today. >> Did you want to talk with me outside just so we're not in middle of a doctor's office?" >> Yeah. >> I called my husband because he would not stop following me. Like he he like chased me all the way across the street. I had to like >> run through oncoming traffic to try to get away from >> Understood. Yeah. So, we're we'll make it right whatever is going on. >> Yeah. >> Um first and foremost, so I like to uh stay safe and so he the guy who is following you, he called us. The lady let me in here and she said she would call the police. Okay. >> And I said, "Okay." And they said I could sit down. >> Yeah. So it did come through. >> Hello. >> All right. Um, so first and foremost, uh, I just want to make sure everyone's safe. Um, >> yeah. Can you escort me away from here? So where he can't follow me anymore? >> So he is not here. I went into Poles to look for something and I am walking out. I'm like almost at a parking lot. This guy's running after me. Like I don't know who he is. He's like in plain clothes. >> Is it okay if I take your ID out? >> I was going to tell you. Absolutely. Yeah. It's out and Okay. Um. >> Oh. Well, no, cuz you don't need that. >> Okay. Well, as soon as uh it's determined whether a crime was or was not committed, um I will >> I didn't commit a crime. >> Well, we're going to find out. >> I don't have anything on me. I don't I did not commit a crime. >> Okay. So, I'm just saying that because that guy's accusing you of it. >> Yeah, I know. But I don't have anything on me. >> I I did not I did not steal anything from him. So, so we're going to check the cameras at Kohl's and if it's determined that you did, then I will get your ID. That's how that works. Okay. >> Okay. So, I can leave in the meantime. >> Nope. You're detained. Not allowed to leave. If you try to leave, you'd be arrested. >> How can you detain me when I haven't committed a crime? >> Because someone >> I'm accusing him of a crime and you're not detaining him. >> The woman clearly knew what she was doing. placing herself and the store employee in the same victim position to create confusion and make the situation harder for officers. Of course, things did not go the way she wanted in plain clothes chasing me. I didn't. No crime is committed. You have no proof. You have no right to detain. >> Yes, you do. So, you're not leaving. And if you leave, you're going to go to jail right now. So, you're staying right here. >> That's That's not true. >> That's how it works. >> I already explained that to you, right? >> I know my rights and I have not done anything wrong. You cannot detain me. >> Someone to accuse you of a crime. >> I'm accusing him of a crime and you're not detaining him. >> So he is whole security. >> It doesn't matter who he is. You cannot harass people. You cannot put your hands on people. You cannot chase people. I'm a female. >> We are not holding court in the streets right here. Okay. This is how it's going to work. You're going to stay here >> till we figure out what's going on. >> You know that that's illegal. >> So, >> okay. I'm not going to argue with you. >> It's illegal. >> I have not done anything wrong. >> Put your Put this down. You're not putting this back on and you're not leaving here. >> Yes, I am. Like, how am I stuck? >> How did you go? >> You're trying to leave and that's not happening. >> Listen, >> until we figure out what's going on to leave, >> let it let go of the jacket. Stop it. Let go of the jacket. >> Let go of the jacket. >> There's nothing in it. >> You have no right to leave right now and you're not leaving. So, you're being detained until we figure out what's going on. >> Oh my god. Oh my god. I know my rights. You guys are going to be in so much trouble. >> Okay. Well, you're being detained. >> Can you please let go? How far am I going to get with cuffs on? >> I know. >> Calm down. >> Let go of me. >> Calm down. >> You're the one who got uncalled and it's on you. Is your body camera on? I was trying to put my jacket on. >> She showed absolutely no signs of taking responsibility. And once things stopped going her way, she quickly shifted to portraying herself as someone in need of medical attention. I know you don't want to because you're you would like to deny me life saving my medical device. >> Okay. >> You could be reasonable and you could be holding it in your hand right now. >> No, you could be reasonable, too. Not do certain things, but >> I didn't do anything. >> Okay. >> Is that fine? I don't need any medical. >> We're going to use ours and check it. >> I don't need any medical I don't want medical attention. >> We're going to check it. >> Look, >> I don't want medical attention. Just let it They're going to do what they do. >> Mr. Husband. He's cool. >> I appreciate you coming. >> This is exciting. right after the movie. >> So this guy, the guy with the green shirt, he was following you. >> Creepy guy. >> Yeah. So he was following you. Um when did you notice him starting following you? >> Oh my goodness, dude. I get so many >> never stops, dude. In the end, the woman was ultimately charged with retail theft, resisting detention, and tampering with evidence. Trying to escape the consequences only made the situation worse because every reckless decision after the theft became even more evidence against her. >> On the 7th of November 2025, officers approached a woman suspected of involvement in a shoplifting escape. The officers could not have anticipated her actions that followed. Initially, the suspect was asked to confirm her information. >> What's your wife's name? >> Mon'nique. Uh, >> Kraton. >> Uhhuh. I don't I know it's the gray house sit at the corner cuz I just moved in with them so I don't really know. >> Although she appeared cooperative in providing information. The woman was actually quite familiar to the officers who even knew her real name to uncover her criminal history. >> Do you We got a warrant on uh Natasha Nash. >> Who? >> Natasha Nash. >> This looks like her. She's giving me a different name, but >> little worse than others. >> She ain't Myique. Yeah. It's going to be her. She pro she probably about to take off on me. You Natasha? >> No, sir. >> Yeah. >> What's your daughter's name? >> I don't have no daughter. >> No daughters? >> No, sir. I only have a son. >> You don't have a son? >> Yes, sir. I'm not Natasha. >> All right. You got You got any proof of ID? No sir, I did not. >> 0.5D. Why you got chicken in your pocketbook? >> Because I had my bug my bag had bust and I on the way back while >> But you still got that back there. >> I just I just kept it cuz it was heavy. No. >> Where did you get it from? >> I went to Harvest. I just came from Harvest to go get some food. I went got some buns and some fries and chicken and but I my bag got busted. No sir. >> Yeah. >> Thus, the woman deliberately concealed her identity, even denying being a mother or a wife. However, shortly after, she began to change her statements. >> Right now, you're being the same. >> For what? >> So, you just stand by that here for just a second and I'll get you on your way. >> No, I got I wonder why. Because it's >> Yeah, because you are you appear to be someone that we're looking for. >> Oh, no. I know who that is. I can't say I'm not who the person you're looking for. I got kids. Uhuh. >> How y'all detaining me and I don't even know. Let me call make sure my This is crazy. I don't understand. >> Stand right here. Wait with me. Get out of the road. Get out of the road. >> Come on. >> Uh I'm trying to look for a picture of her. She She definitely appears to be her and she's walking off and everything like that. There appears to be Natasha Nash and she's walking off. >> While the officers were attempting to verify her information, the woman displayed multiple suspicious signs and shortly after a tense pursuit ensued. She's running down the street here. Hey, hey, HEY, HEY. GET OUT. GET OUT ON THE GROUND NOW. GET ON THE GROUND NOW. NOW. GET ON THE GROUND. GET ON THE GROUND NOW. >> NOW. [screaming] ON THE GROUND. >> GET ON THE GROUND NOW. GET ON THE GROUND. >> WHY ARE YOU HOLDING ME LIKE THAT? WHY? >> GET ON THE GROUND. >> GET ON THE GROUND NOW. >> SIR, I DIDN'T DO THE GROUND. OW. >> OH, I didn't do nothing. >> I got him behind the behind the old Mexican restaurant. That's it. [clears throat] >> Anybody get it again? Put your hand behind me. >> This very act of fleeing made everything worse and it implicitly admitted that she carried guilt. Yet, she still showed no remorse and continued to portray herself as the victim. Get shutting to run. Stand up as running. >> Let's go. >> Well, I hear a taser pull right over. >> Get the red light, but I >> Yeah. >> Okay, that's where I go. You smoke and you just run. You do that. Stand up. Stand up. >> Okay. Okay, sir. What you're doing? >> Stand up. >> Yes, you can. >> Hey, YOU ABOUT TO GET IT AGAIN. You just stand by. >> I'm going I'm going this and I'm going to do this right now. >> Stand up, Natasha. >> Yeah. Sit down right here. Sit on your butt. >> Fall back right here. >> Sit down. Right here. Sit down. >> Sit all the way down. I got you. Go ahead and roll with it. >> It was evident that the woman had nothing but deception. And shortly after the medical team arrived and confirmed that her condition was merely a ploy. >> Yeah. And you know, you know, I always give you ample opportunity. I always give you ample opportunity. Main Street. >> This old man. I was coming out the red lights. Old man pulls over last. >> I had to go through the courthouse grass. Happens like every time. >> Um she uh she run from Crowder Street. Got right here. I shot her with a taser. One probe hit her jacket and one probe hit her um left uh left leg. Uh she didn't hit the didn't hit the ground or nothing like that, but it got her attention enough for her to stop running. >> So um she was good on breathing uh for the 75 yard sprint there. >> My chest hurt. >> Yeah, my chest be hurting too if I ran that far. >> You have any medical problems? Okay. You son of the same. >> Yeah, she got it. >> I'm good now. >> I'm good. Yeah. Yeah. >> Need you to take some short deep breaths cuz it's just your heart rate's a little elevated, but everything else is good. >> All right. Well, I'm going to put you in the truck and do a 12 lead, but if it's normal, I'm going to let you go with them. Okay. That's where we at right now. >> You need a Yeah, if you don't mind. >> I don't think that's 142. [laughter] >> Nobody's laughing at you. Yes, ma'am. Yes, sir. >> You're laughing at him. Heart rate. >> My heart rate's higher than yours is. >> But I said, you know, I don't never give you no problem. So, you know, >> you ain't never gave me no problem. That's why I can't understand why you run for me. >> In the end, she was charged with retail theft, resisting arrest, and obstruction of justice in addition to her active warrants. Running only made her situation worse. Honesty and accountability from the start could have prevented far more serious consequences. If you wanted to witness something even more unhinged, you then met this woman. >> Are you threatening to kill me, officer? Are you threatening to kill me? >> You threaten to kill me. >> Now, we're going to sit still for this search. >> On March 31, police were dispatched after receiving a report that a woman attempted to steal from CVS pharmacy and then fled the scene. When officers made contact, she initially appeared calm and cooperative, but a sudden twist waited just ahead. >> What's going on, man? >> Hey, how you doing? How you doing today? >> Well, the same thing as every other day. >> Okay. Just asking how >> business. What's up? >> Just asking how you're doing today. >> Been sitting here for a while. >> We are there being harassed like usually just moving around. >> Okay. Did you recently walk anywhere within the last couple minutes? >> CVS to Starbucks. >> Okay. Do you have any weapons on you? >> Do you mind if I pat you down? Double check. >> You have a female officer? >> What's that? >> You have a female officer? >> We I'm sure we could get one out here for you. >> Why do you need to check? >> Uh cuz there was a report with somebody matching your description that was armed with a [music] knife. Did you have a knife out recently? Don't Don't go in your pocket. Don't reach in there. Don't reach in there. Don't reach in there. I'm telling you right now. >> Are you threatening to kill me, officer? Are you threatening to kill me? Put your hands back. Are >> you threatening to kill me? >> No. >> Just relax right now. You're just I know >> you're just being the tank. >> No, you don't. >> We're allowed to search. >> Take it out. >> Her demeanor immediately became tense for no apparent reason and her behavior was no longer cooperative in any sense. >> They know you're stop. You have anything else on you under other than that knife? >> That will investigate. >> Investigate. >> You have any other weapons off on you? >> No, I don't. Stop touching me. >> Stop touching. >> Listen, I'm searching you for weapons. >> Out of my face. >> You're in mine. You're the one. >> No, you're the one that's getting into my face. >> There's like lighters and stuff in there. Relax. Relax. I'm going to sit you down. I don't want to do that. What are you doing? Relax. Relax. >> You're under federal investigation. You're trying to be touching me. >> I totally understand. Relax. >> Relax. >> I'm not hype. >> Why you fidgeting around then? Just relax. Just sit still. She's got the pocketk knife on her. I pulled it off of her. >> Okay. >> She's uh 67. >> Federal investigation. >> Say anything to you guys? Nah, just that we're under federal investigation. >> Yeah, victim indicates 100%. >> She uh she said she was walking around. Obviously, uh she was just IDed. So, >> I get all my items, too. >> Over the radio, officers confirmed she was the woman they were looking for. Yet, the one refusing to accept that reality appeared to be her. >> I don't have the knife was it, sir. >> Doesn't matter. You're under arrest. Now you're being searched. >> I'm not under arrest. You are under federal investigation. Why? Watch how it overturns. >> You don't have to take my wallet, sir. >> Like I said, you'll see how it >> 41. >> Don't grip me hard. >> I'm not gripping you hard. It's called a search. >> Yes, you are. >> You're under federal investigation. You're about to get [ __ ] up. >> You told me about 500 times already. >> No. Stop. >> Would you relax? >> That's something. >> No, it's just glasses. >> Now, we're going to sit still for this search. >> You're going to kill me like you did. >> No. You're going to sit very still while we search you. >> You going to kill me like you did, boy? >> Oh, gosh. Pat me like you did, boy. Are you going to kill me like you did, boy? Get me up off the ground. You're going to kill me like you did. >> We're just trying to search you. And >> if I say I can't breathe, you have to move me. >> If you can talk, you can breathe. >> Yeah, that's what you and he killed. [snorts] >> Pockets pockets are >> She clearly knew that everything she was doing only added more charges. Yet, she did not care at all as her obstructive behavior showed no sign of stopping. Stand up. You want >> to pick me up? Federal investigation arrest you. description of what? >> Right. So, how do we get the >> You tell me. >> Don't Don't argue with it. You're under arrest for possession of a weapon with unlawful purpose and criminal mischief. That's what you're being charged. That's what you're being charged with. >> You will be put in the car and we're not going to argue about it. That's your charges. >> For what though? I can't carry a knife. >> You'll You'll get a copy of the report. >> Who says I can't >> You'll get a copy of the report when it's done. >> Who says what? What legal sense? No, it's the way you utilize the knife by DAMAGING PROPERT. >> OKAY, have a seat. >> Shortly afterward, officers proceeded to search the items inside the woman's pockets. Anything that he's done with, I'm just throwing in here. She's homeless. >> I'm sure if you run her name in RMS, she's in there. >> She's got to be. >> What you saying? >> If anyone knows who Charlton does. Is >> this her wallet? >> Yeah, it's hers. She um when I made contact with I just asked, "Have you been walking around at all or been around?" She's like, "Yeah, I've been back and forth." And then I said, "You have any knives on you?" And then she went to go pull it out of her pocket and I said, "No, don't don't pull out of her pocket. I'll then I told her to stand up." And then she wanted to resist a little bit just passively. We just handcuffed her. But then once we started once we got the knife and you gave the positive ID and we told her she was under arrest and did started to do a thorough search and put we put her in there, she started kicking, flailing around. We had to take her down to the ground. Nothing crazy. Just she was kicking her feet. So, I had to grab her legs and hold her legs down while they continue to pat her down. I want to make sure she had any other knives on her before she went in the car. But the woman was charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, obstructing justice, and aggravated menacing. Refusing to accept responsibility in escalating a situation only turns a minor incident into serious criminal charges.
