No, these are like cheap. These are like seven bucks. >> Got one thing in the bathroom. >> Yo yo, look at this. >> Why you exhausted? >> I'm fine. Take a deep breath. >> We're in your purse. And that's not what a shopper would do. A typical shopper would do. Arrogance and acting like the victim are what happens when an arrogant thief thinks it can help him escape arrest after his wrongdoing. With no limits and no shame, he keeps pushing his luck until the officers of the law show up. Here are the moments when shoplifter caught stealing an entire cart full from Walmart. Beginning with this woman, she played the victim simply because she was caught red-handed. >> Well, I tell you what, my mind is not really great right now. I am freaked out. I'm really upset. I mean, grab I thought you grabbed me. I don't know. It elicited a response in me and I just >> On the 21st of June 2024, officers received a call from Walmart reporting a woman who had committed theft at the store. As soon [snorts] as they arrived at the scene, the woman immediately stepped forward to make excuses for herself. Here is what happened next. >> Kid, okay? >> She she went with her dad. >> Okay, I just I got you. >> Okay. Um I want to talk to you about what's going on. You're pseudo in custody here. So, I'm going to read you your random warning here, okay? Cuz you're not free to go and stuff. All right. So, um we got a call about just stealing some stuff. Um asset protection. >> Not intentional. Whatever Whatever I didn't pay for or whatever I didn't scan, I will pay for. I don't I don't I don't know what it >> Okay. The other problem, too, just explain to you the starting point is you battered her when she was telling you she was calling the police. >> She grabbed me. >> I watched the video. She was on the phone and you were grabbing at her phone. >> Yeah. She told me, "You're going to jail." >> Trying to come and grab me and my daughter, my car. She just freaked me out. To come and grab me and grabbing you are two different things. I I actually saw you grab her like grab me out of the phone. Right. >> Right. To get her phone out of her. >> Okay. Let me explain this. So, that in itself could be aggravated battery because it's during the commission of a retail. Okay. I'm not going and that and what that means to you is that's a felony. I'm not going to charge you with a felony because I kind of understand the dynamic of hey, you know, we got this lady stopping me and stuff, but she did. >> I mean, she's done this thousands of times. She calls us all the time. Okay. So, she identified like approach differently. >> Well, listen to me. So, she identified herself working for Walmart. She asked you to come back in >> and then she told you you were calling the police and you grabbed out. Okay. uh that you said that she was >> so a confrontation had already taken place before the police arrived, but the woman clearly showed no remorse for her actions. Instead, she began to grow frustrated because things were not going the way she wanted. >> Get the video. I don't know. >> Okay, but I'm asking you because you know, >> well, I tell you what, my mind is not really great right now. I am freaked out. I'm really upset. I mean, I've never been in trouble in my life and then I get pulled over by like eight cops. You know what I mean? I was just like, "Oh my god." Well, >> let me ask you this. Why when she confronted you, why didn't you just stop and try to work it out? >> I don't know. I She just clam out of me all the wrong way and it scared me. Okay. >> I had a incident here one time where I almost got >> Okay. >> followed me down every aisle and then followed me halfway home. I had to ditch try to ditch him. It was just a mess. And >> get pulled in the police department. >> Well, it just get gave me like a >> immediately I just got freaked out and I just probably wasn't thinking. I I don't know why I didn't cuz I like I said I have $500 in cash in my wallet. I don't know why I would >> I had inventory but it's you have [laughter] money and stuff. So that's the reason I was kind of wondering what was what was going on. >> Right. I mean we >> What you're saying what you're saying is this was all mistake. >> Yes. >> She tried to portray herself as innocent, continuing to insist that it was all a mistake. But she could not fool the officers. [music] Once again they rejected her claim that the theft was simply a misunderstanding. My only my only my only rebubble with that would be when she stopped you to try to speak to you about it. >> I think like I said, it just freaked me out because of the incident that I had before and somebody coming up to you like that and my child and my child's freaking out. It just elicited something in me. >> Okay, now that we're sold down, >> they have the receipt of the things you paid for. Do you have any other items in the car that has not been >> Now, is this stuff that you paid for? >> This is all the >> Is this stuff that you paid for you did not pay for? She said that there's some things you paid for and there's some things you didn't pay for. I don't know what I didn't pay for. >> Some of the things you you paid for, you left in there and about the same amount of money that you didn't pay for. I mean, it was about the same. $69 you left with, $69 you paid for. You know what I'm saying? So, >> it just seems hard to me when you're scanning yourself out when you would realize, hey, nearly half of the items I've selected aren't on the the U scan here. Okay. >> I Well, I didn't really look at it either. >> I mean, you should. I mean, how'd you pay? Well, yeah. I paid with the on the little thing, but I didn't like go through the cash. >> No, I paid my card. >> Okay. And I mean, you didn't think, well, this is about half of what it should be or anything like that. >> No, these are like cheap. These are like seven bucks. >> No. >> Okay. >> I don't know. Whatever Whatever I didn't pay for, though, I'm happy to pay for that. >> Okay. We'll we'll go in there and talk to her. Is there anything else that you have in your car that you're not sure if you paid for or not? >> No, that's the only bag that we grabbed. Where's the actual backp bag? Is it in the car still? >> Uh, >> immediately afterward, the officers searched her vehicle and recovered several items of merchandise. >> Where you work at? >> Where you work at? >> Yeah, you can turn off your car, too. Don't turn off your window to shut your car off. You're going to burn up all your gas. You want me to turn it off for you? I'll turn it off for you. Let me lock it. >> So, we'll go in there. Um, >> might as well. >> Uh, so we'll we'll try to figure out what you paid for, what you didn't, cuz you're you're not sure. I've got your wallet right there. I'll grab that. Then you got stuff in there you paid for that you need to get too. >> Probably. I don't know. She just scares me. Didn't even like my goofy dude. She want to come up to me and say, "Hey, look. Uh, I could like see something or something like that." They've been different. But her coming up to me like like she is somebody in authority and I don't know what. So when we go in here, just keep in mind that I'm choosing not to charge you with a felony, right? That's how I explain that. So when we do go in there, let's not be malin and bickering back and forth. Let's handle business. Okay. >> No, I'm not. Is that fair? Okay. All right. >> The items were later returned and the loss prevention staff reviewed everything before making their final decision. >> The stuff that she did. >> Yep. So she's got two swimsuits on here and the two elastic things like I told you, the ponytail >> and I knew that white clothing item went to the laundry for. So this is >> were both of these made for Valerie? >> Yes. So she's got the two elastic 20 counts and then two. Uh due to the physical altercation between us um and the lack of cooperation today, you're going to be trespassed from all Walmart and properties forever. Okay? They're no longer allowed on any Walmarts, Sam clothes, and Murphy's oils. >> Okay. Well, I I do want to apologize. It I told them I tried to get me and when you come up to me and grabbed my car and I guess you didn't grab I thought you grabbed me. I don't know. It elicited a response in me and I just So, I'm I'm sign for me, please. Uh, it is all on video though. I did not ever touch you. Okay, >> that that's fine. I like I said, I'm >> I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. That's the only item I have to add to the list of things. >> In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft and permanently trespassed from all Walmart and Sam's Club properties. Being caught does not make someone the victim. Taking responsibility for your actions is always better than trying to shift the blame when the evidence clearly tells a different story. Next, this woman even ended up having her car seized just because of petty theft. >> Sorry, I just after three and a felony and you're using your vehicle to further yourself in a commission of a felony. On the 29th of January 2026, officers were dispatched to Target's loss prevention office after staff detained a suspect who had been caught shoplifting. More specifically, let's hear the employees statement. >> Good. Thank you. >> Okay, so we got some tickets for Jamie um and >> um she did pay for the one that is with her purse. Okay. And then um she basically took these tags and put them here and then >> Okay, if that makes sense. I can show you as well. >> What's the one thing she paid for? >> Uh this tank. Yeah. >> Okay. >> You can get that repeat offender. >> Yes. Do >> you guys have the item after seeds from the other time? >> Probably. Yeah. Go ahead. >> Um, also when she was shopping, I did see her select two cosmetics, empty package them. I believe that they're in her purse. Um, like a foundation and like a cream. >> That's right. Can you stand up for me, man? Put your phone down on the table and turn around. Put your hands behind your back. Spread your feet for me. Spread your feet for me. >> Spread your feet. >> Put your palms together like Brian. >> Accepting the handcuffs could be seen as an acknowledgement of her wrongdoing, but she showed no remorse. Instead, she still tried to lie to minimize her responsibility. >> Anything else in your bag that you put in here that you should have put here? >> Not like cosmetic stuff. It says something called uh sunscreen. >> Sunscreen's in there. >> Can I grab it out of here? >> Where is it at [cough] >> in front? >> In the center. >> In the center. >> Is that right there? >> This. Anything else? This your first time taking from Target? >> Yes. >> Sure about that? >> Apparently it's not. First time you been caught. Have you taken from Target in the past? Have you tag swapped in the past? >> Yes, sir. Okay. >> What's the point of taking on this? >> Sorry, my apologies. Sometimes >> Echo 222 type. >> I saw your person. You have money. Where do you work? Where do you work? Do you work? >> Yes, sir. >> What do you do for a living? >> Bravo 214. >> You guys want >> Yes. Yeah. Let me know if you have any previous times. >> The woman was identified as having committed theft 12 times since 2018, which elevated the charges to a more serious level. The officers also explained this to her. >> All right. So, you're under arrest. Okay. Under arrest for shoplifting three or more times within 90 days. Okay. You shoplifted at least five times from this store within that 90day period. So the total is like seven or eight. Do you have a car here? >> He has a gray Audi. >> Gray Audi. Okay. Your five Audi is right here. We'll count this. So it's in a it's in your parking lot. So it's up to you guys what you guys want to do with it. You want to tow it or whatever. You have any family here? >> Anyone that can pick up your car? >> Anyone that can pick up your car? >> Yeah. I know. >> Where is she at? >> Or so 10:15. >> Echo 222. >> Whis whiskey fox 1050. >> Uh, since you bought this, we'll put this in here, too. Okay. >> Stealing repeatedly over 3 months. Wouldn't you wonder what was behind her actions? It seems like that was also a rather embarrassing question for the woman to answer. >> Do you have like a reason for why you take all this stuff or no? >> Do you want to talk to us though or >> usually some people have like an excuse or a reason? >> Hard times. >> Hard times like financially. What kind of hard time you guys? >> I'm sorry. I just learned this one. I still have >> your what? >> Put in this pink form in your purse right here. This is your trespass warning. If you come back to this Target, you will be arrested. Okay. The last times you taken from Target, did you use that same car? Um, I have two credit cards. >> You have two great cars. >> My car. >> No, no, the car outside. >> Your car? >> Oh, >> is that car? Is that the car you always drive? >> Yes. >> She seemed more concerned about her car, which was something she should have thought about before stealing other people's property. >> [snorts] >> Shortly after, the officers informed her that the vehicle would be seized. Your >> vehicle? Okay. >> Okay. That's going to be going to the sheriff's office impound. And um we'll give you all the necessary paperwork on how to treat the vehicle cuz the five times you come to the store and you use that car to steal. After three, it makes it a felony. And you're using your vehicle to further yourself in a commission of a felony. So, under Florida statue and under our policy under season vehicle, okay? But we'll explain all the paperwork and stuff like that formally when we get to the jail. That way, you'll have a very clear understanding of what is happening to your vehicle. Okay. >> Can I do that? >> Nope. Like I said, if this was your first time stealing and you know you made a mistake, I can work with you. But after 12 times, you know right from wrong and I can't help you. >> So it forces our hand a little bit after the upteen time. So this is every single documentation of her stealing 12 pages 12 packets. >> In the end, the woman was charged with felony shoplifting. >> [snorts] >> Repeated theft is not a one-time mistake, and continued offenses can quickly lead to more serious charges and additional consequences. Her concern for her vehicle came too late after using it to facilitate repeated crimes. This woman was not even ashamed as she continued to lie blatantly. >> No, I'm not concealing it. I have a list of I'm trying to buy for my granddaughter. >> Yeah, I have two. >> See, this is what they were talking about. On the 24th of November 2023, officers were notified of a repeat shoplifter who had returned to a store. Since the suspect was believed to have previously been there for similar behavior, the store manager appeared confident in their accusation when officers arrived at the scene. >> Um, so we had this woman in here shoplift before and we have it on video and we sent the video to y'all and a young girl came and >> she said just next time she comes in the shop to call y'all. But she has two of our necklaces in her purse. We've seen them down. We're talking to her, like helping her. She acts like she's going to buy some things. Do you need to wait till she leaves the store right now? >> No. No. >> Can you confront her in there and ask to look in her pocket? >> And she's concealed the merchandise. Yes. Yeah, I can do that. >> Okay. She's got some pipes on and she kind of She was up here at the front of the store. >> Okay. Can you identify the necklaces when you see them? >> Yeah. >> They're still on the board. >> Right here. right here. Young lady. >> Shortly after, the officer approached the woman and she denied the accusation, but her lie quickly fell apart. >> Officer Thomas, Savannah Police Department. Um, this is the store manager and I have one of the managers with me. >> Um, is it possible she could check your purse? She said that uh she believed that there was store merchandise that was concealed in your purse. >> No, I'm not concealing it. I have a list of I'm trying to buy for my granddaughter >> and um she's holding it for me. >> Okay. So, did you put it in your purse? >> So, I wouldn't drop it while I was looking at Yeah, I have two. >> Oh, see this is what they were talking about. So, it is >> I'm looking for all of these things. >> So, what would you like to do, ma'am? It wasn't >> trying to buy. >> No, we have you on video shop working from us before and we've called the police before and they have videos of you stealing necklaces from over there. We know that they've done that. >> I can show you the video. >> Okay. So, >> we have that it was concealed in it was in the pocketbook. It was concealed. >> Mhm. >> So, what do you wish to do at this step? >> Here until I could find the Here's the deal. I'm looking at all of this for my >> I think that she has a problem. I don't think she needs to be stealing. I think she's got a stealing problem. >> Okay. >> And so I would more than anything like for her to get help because she's got family and grandchildren who love her and care about her. >> Okay. So you don't wish for her to be arrested at this moment and charged with shoplifting? >> She could only use her phone, seemingly unable to defend her actions. And at this point, the store had also decided to prosecute her. Do you want to uh what do you what do you want to do with >> you want to proceed with >> prosecute? >> Okay. She wants to prosecute. She wants to prosecute shoplifting because you have all the elements. So go right ahead or I can do it if I was >> I got it. >> All right. Miss, >> can I have your bag, please? >> Put your phone in there. >> I'm 22. >> What's that? >> He said I'm on my lunch. Just find something at the counter. >> Just just put your phone in the bag for me. I'll explain everything to you in a second. Okay. >> All right. Just turn around for me. >> She tried to use her family to gain sympathy. But as a repeat offender, her intentional theft was clear and no amount of pleading could change the outcome. >> Please, please don't do this. >> Face me, ma'am. >> Please don't do this. They want to prosecute for shoplifting because here's the deal, ma'am. This this is the deal. So, they have a p a previous shoplifting report on you. They have video of it. Um, today the items were in your purse and that's not what a shopper would do. A typical shopper would do. But, however, the law says once that item is concealed, then you can be charged with shoplifting because it was in your purse concealed and not in plain view while you were out shopping. So, that and they wish to prosecute for that. So that's what that's why he's asking you to >> I'm just trying to purchase that list. >> Okay. So ma'am, if you could go ahead and face me and place your hands behind your back face that officer ma'am. >> Yeah. I don't understand where that's coming from. You It hasn't happened multiple times >> and I'm on my lunch hour. I have to go right back to work. >> Yes, ma'am. But unfortunately, you made the decision to conceal it in your bag and they say they have a previous report with you which we will look up. And so today they wish to prosecute for the concealment of the items in your purse. >> I but I didn't mean to conceal them. I just dropped them in there so I could look at the rest of the stuff and then and I have a list up there that I'm trying to pay for. >> Yes, ma'am. But that's >> and those need to be paid for, too. >> But the concealment is against the law. >> I understand it, but I didn't mean to conceal it. >> Yes, ma'am. But according to them, they have a previous shoplifting report on you. They have video proof. So, she wishes to prosecute today. So, that's why you're in handcuffs. >> At this point, she was escorted outside, but she still refused to admit her wrongdoing as if she did not care about anything the officer had explained to her. >> Yeah, this is totally a misunderstanding. I'm trying to find all the gifts. >> You can't conceal, >> but >> you can't put them in your purse. >> I just was putting them for a minute. She's got a She's got a thing for me. >> We'll talk about that over here. I'm on my lunch hour. I have to go back to work. >> It was a bad decision. Um, >> but I truly I did put it in there. You can see. >> Yes, ma'am. >> I showed her on my phone. I have a whole list of things my granddaughter picked and it's pictures and I asked her to help me find them because I couldn't find the thing. >> And I just put that other one >> in there until >> Well, that's what that's what you'll have to talk with your legal counsel or your judge. They the the the court will provide you with legal counsel if you can't afford to get your own and you can tell that to the judge. >> My own. I'm just trying to go back to work. >> Yes, ma'am. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. >> So, what do I do now? I have to >> right now you're under arrest. >> So, you're in our custody right now. We'll >> we'll take care of everything. >> A misunderstanding because I >> Yes, my dad. >> I'm trying to pay for it with the other things at the desk. The woman showed no remorse and even when facing the consequences of trespassing, she remained completely arrogant. >> Not allowed to go in and buy the things that they have. >> I don't think they want you in anymore. >> But that's fine. >> Yeah, >> I won't come anymore. But I It's a total misunderstanding cuz I didn't. >> But right now, he just said he's just going to do a subpoena. So, he's just going to let you off with a sheet of paper. Uh you have a court date and then put you on your way. >> Okay. But yeah, >> I will just tell the judge exactly what >> I did. And he made I did honestly. I did put it in I put it in that little pocket on the side so I didn't lose it because I had all the other items I was trying to find and show them on my phone. >> Mhm. >> Thank you. They look tight. Sorry about that. >> Okay. Now, now tell me what do I do? >> I wait for a >> You're being arrested, but you're not going to jail. >> Okay. >> So, you're going to have to get a court date that I still need to put on there, but >> Okay. >> They will um You said they will contact me at this the address. >> Yeah. >> In the end, she was charged with shoplifting, trespassed from the store, and released at the scene. What do you think about the outcome of this situation? [music] Don't forget to leave a comment and let us know what you think. Next, this woman believed that God would help her do whatever she wanted. >> You're not going to walk through me. Go, go, go. Now, >> I believe in God. I'm not going to the hospital. >> You can go. You can believe in whatever you want. Stop. >> On the 25th of May, 2022, officers received [music] a call from Target reporting a woman who was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the store. Here is what happened. According to the employees at the scene, >> what is she doing? >> Okay, she's like she was like rambling stuff, calling people racial slurs and stuff. Told her to leave. She didn't leave. >> So, did Were you telling her to leave because she was disturbing business? >> Yeah. >> Okay. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? >> Uh, she's disturbing business by yelling at customers, calling them slurs. >> It's a white female, heavy build. What else you wearing? Black leggings. >> Gray shirt, black leggings. >> And you told her to leave already? You specifically or me specifically? >> Okay, cool. Let's go. And >> she looks like she's high on something. >> I don't know if she's basically or high. I can't tell. >> Is she agitated? Aggressive a little bit. >> No, she's calm. She's >> Where's she at? >> Back. Let's go. Still >> in there. >> Hi. >> Hello. The officers found her and recognized her and it turned out this was not her first incident. The [snorts] situation was also believed to be related to her mental health condition. >> Oh, this you? >> Yeah. >> Oh, we know her. We just involved her the other day. Same girl. >> Oh, yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah, we know her. >> We sent her to the hospital just the other day. >> She was super mean to us, too. If I can get one of you guys to sign this. >> Well, we got her name. Yeah, we have got to remember what the name was. >> Okay, >> I could find it super quick. We literally Yeah, we we just dealt with her the other day. She's gone. She's >> deteriorating that's for sure. >> Uh, sorry. If you Yeah. Uh, if you can just put Actually, Sarah, there's not a spot for it. It's the dumbest thing in the world, but you can just throw it right there. >> Yeah, she's like whipping and doing the same things over and over. >> Yeah, she's that's when we dealt with her, she's got all sorts of mental health issues. Where'd she go? Bathroom. >> Bathroom. >> Yeah. Was that it first or is that yours? >> She bought those here. >> Knowing the woman's condition, the officers were more careful when trying to get her out of the store. First, they calmly and gently asked her to leave. >> The store is closing. I got to go. It's the police. >> We just got here. We're still working. >> Emily just doesn't want to lose. She doesn't want to have to shake my hand. >> Yeah. The store is closing though, so we all got to go pretty soon. >> Yeah, that's that's called closing. Yeah. Up to right. Her name's Hey, we have a name. She's drying her up. You drying it spit. I know. >> Well, the security wants you to go as well. Okay. >> I'm sorry. I can't. And I heard off the intercom, I said 50 and exactly squad. >> Oh, >> and I think And I think if you don't honor your >> No, you're being trespassed. You can't be here. >> Then God will punish you. >> Haley, right? >> Yeah. >> Yeah. You remember us? >> We helped you last time. >> Not you. >> I remember you. What was your name? Billy. >> Jack. >> You look like Billy Jack. >> Billy Jack. Billy Jack. >> Yes. >> That's a bummer. >> Emily just doesn't want to have to shake hand. >> Nope. You got to leave. Hey. >> Yep. You do. Come on. You got to go. Go. You have to leave. You're not allowed to be in here. Go. Yes. >> Go right now. >> Standing right in front of the exit, the woman still had no intention of going through it. The officers blocked her path and gradually urged her to leave the store. >> You're being trespassed. You need to leave. >> No, I don't. >> Yes, you do. Go. >> It's not closed yet. >> Not for you. You have to go. It's >> 947. >> You're being trespassed. You cannot leave. >> Emily just doesn't want to have to shake my hand. >> Emily doesn't have to. You need to leave. That's not a very nice word at all. You need to go. Yes, you are. >> I'm not leaving. >> You're leaving now. >> No, I'm not. >> Yes, you are. >> I'm not leaving. >> Billy Jack, >> that's a terrible thing to say. And you need to leave. >> I'm not leaving. >> Don't do that to me. You don't end up in handcuffs. Don't >> I'm not leaving. Go. >> I'm not scared. >> I don't want you to be scared. I just want >> She's going to have a curse brought down upon her. She doesn't do this. >> Emily will have to deal with that. Okay. Please come. I'm not leaving. >> Yes, you are. Come on. Go. >> I'm not trespassed. >> Yes, you are. You're being trespassed right now. That >> calling in. Go. >> Haley, go. >> If Emily kicks me out, then a curse will come down. >> Emily is not. We are. Go. >> This is ridiculous. Go, >> Billy. You're ridiculous. >> I don't know why you keep calling me Billy Jack. Stop. You're not going to walk through me. Go. Go. Go. Now, please. Come on. Go. Go. >> I don't have to. >> Yes, you do. You actually have to. staying here until Emily comes out. >> You can stay here. Emily, I don't even know who Emily is. They're right here. >> The difficulty did not end there. She began rambling and speaking defiantly, repeatedly trying to enter the store despite the officer's attempts to stop her. Her resistance did not stop there. >> No, I believe in God, Emily. I believe I come down upon you if you don't shake my hand. >> She kicked me out because she didn't want to have to shake my hand in the end. >> No, because you're being very mean. >> And you don't believe in God, Emily? >> Then she doesn't have to go. Haley, stop. This is ridiculous. We're going to end up in >> I will win. >> You're not going to do that. >> Yes, we will. Send you to the hospital again. >> I'm not scared. >> You're going to end up going to the hospital. Stop. >> I believe in God. I'm not going to the hospital. >> You can go. You can believe in whatever you want. Stop. >> I'm not scared of anything. >> Stop. This is ridiculous, >> dude. We're going to end up hitting you. Don't >> I'm not scared. I would I would even go in handcuffs for God. I'm not scared. >> Okay, let's split ankles. >> All right, turn around. Put your hands around your back. You're being involved. >> You can't do this. >> Yes, we can. >> We go involve matter which we go for both. I would go either or. That's what I mean. >> Honestly, yeah, it's >> I would go for We'll talk about it. We got both. I think we have trespass [clears throat] more double. >> Yeah. Let me just check these real quick. >> Give me my cheese. Billy Jack, >> your your cheeses will go with you. Don't call me Billy Jack. Even escorting her to the police car became difficult as she continued to make things harder for the officers. >> There you go. Put your feet in. >> Sit down. This is ridiculous. Swing your legs in and do it now. >> No, I believe in God. >> I don't care. This is >> He's going to pull you through now. >> Stop. You're breaking my arm. >> Then swing your legs in. trying to be nice and you're not listening. >> I didn't trespass. >> Right. This is ridiculous, man. I said we Yeah, we invited mental health disorders. There's a boyfriend out of Tacoma. trying to deal with her but they have no idea what they're stuck in the same boat we are. She's gets in that repeated conversation. >> The reason why we can go a little bit the reason why we can do a little bit involved because of our history with her. Without that history, we can barely even hit that. >> The woman was charged with trespassing. Refusing to leave after being clearly told she was trespassed only escalated the situation. Cooperating with the officers could have prevented the arrest. Next, [snorts] let's head to the airport for this theft case. Look at this. >> Why are you Why are you doing this? >> Training, >> huh? Training. >> On the 30th of March 2026, police approached a petty thief in an airport restroom where they caught him trying to remove items from his bag. Suspecting that he was attempting to destroy evidence, they quickly intervened to stop him. >> Come here. Why are you stealing stuff? >> Lucky. >> All right. Come here. Hands over. Hand behind your back. >> No, I'm not going for I got flight books. I'm not stealing your back. >> You can check everything. Don't steal. >> No, you're not stealing this [ __ ] Behind your back. >> I'm I'm I'm going to call Morgan and Margan. >> Got one thing in the bathroom. >> Yo. Yo. Someone should be Look at this. The Get him. [screaming] >> No one resisting. I >> don't hear me. >> We're all right. Put your hands behind your back. Hands behind your back. >> Why you Why are you choking me? WHY YOU SO CHOKING? Bruce bastards. >> Hands behind your back. >> Put your hands behind your back. He deliberately screamed loudly as if trying to make himself look like the victim for people outside to hear. He clearly knew what he was doing as he remained completely calm afterward and talked back to the officers. >> You ready to get up? >> Yeah. >> Want to go home? >> Why are you doing this, bro? Doing what? >> Cuz I'm Ow. Ow ow. All right, stand up for me. >> You right. >> No, he's twisting me out. >> Ready? One, two, three. >> You can check anything. >> All right, lean up right here. I'm against this wall. All right. You were being detained, but now you're under arrest. >> You good? >> Yeah. >> Why? Why you exhausted? >> I'm fine. Take a deep breath. >> Yeah, for him, not me. >> Why are you Why are you doing this? >> Training, >> huh? >> Training. >> Training for what? >> Confidential. >> He's maintain conform. At this point, the officer escorted him away, but he made things difficult by suddenly acting concerned about his belongings, something he clearly did not show when he was taking other people's property. >> I want my stuff, dude. Check my stuff. You know, I'm missing my flight again. I'm missing my flight again. >> I'm not GETTING MY WIFE IS EXPECTING ME. I haven't seen my son since January 28th. MY WIFE GOT FLIGHT AND YOU BOOKED A FLIGHT. WHY? Let's just keep him right here until we get a core. >> Call my wife. HE'S BING LOCK ME UP AGAIN. I'M a citizen. I'm citizen. >> That's my social security number. >> We need elevator over here. All right. Yeah. I need water. All right, let's go. This is what happened last night, right? Yo, I I went, "Oh, okay, sir. Please, sir. Free bag, sir. The guy fought me up for three or four days." >> So, you just got uh >> my wife >> didn't Gordon or what? >> No. No. It got cancelled again. I keep getting kicked around. You know, my wife didn't tell me A.M., it told me P.M., You know, so where you at? >> Why am I upset? I'm talking. I'm in Friday. You know, I want some hot food with my wife tried. >> He showed no remorse whatsoever for what he had done. In fact, he was already on probation, something he admitted shortly afterward. >> Probation in Long Island to call officer Ly and so I can get the call. >> What's going on, bro? They're going >> probation. So, I left New York because I had a heart attack. I had a stroke. December 10th. Okay. Right. And I went to Las Vegas, but my flight got cancelled because some said I wasn't allowed out. But the fact is I thought I deserved it cuz I've been through a lot. I got really bad PTSD. Mr. Bid, >> what happened today, man? >> I came here early and if my wife told me PM, I would have stay I would have run to the shelter. >> I haven't slept in days. You want his ID? >> You got a driver's license on you anyway? >> I got my British passport, but I did go to get my real ID and the racist passers denying me three or four times. >> Okay. So, where's your passport at? >> It's in my bag or all my stuff >> in your bag. >> Yeah. Which one? The backpack. >> The backpack is called, should I say, the Indian hot dog? Right there in the club. >> Afterward, the police returned to the store to receive their decision. >> All right. So, we got called to I guess someone at uh Neil Diamond or whatever stole something. So, we're watching him and he stole a bag of y'all's chips and ran off and we had to fight him and stuff. Um question is, do you want to press charges for the chips? >> I got the modest. >> Let me just get your BNA um contractor. You got a bean bed for the manager for the castle. Okay. Okay. >> All right. Or the disent though. >> Cop. >> I just need a report. >> Cop. Wait. They don't want to press charges. Um, what's my report number going to be? >> On you. >> Hello. >> Yes, sir. >> I'm looking for the I think black female that works here. Maybe. Do you have Do you have her name? >> You know what I'm talking about? >> Yeah. Yeah. That's our supervisor. >> She uh she's someone stole apparently over here. >> Yeah. What what did he attempt to steal? >> He tried to steal one of the I say one of these when he steal the sky blue one. >> So >> I went with her cuz when he took it I I went with her out there cuz he was sitting out he's out on the balcony smoking land. He just kind of had on the counter. I just took it back from him. >> So he had it at the >> Yeah. He he had walked all the way out to the the balcony outside and then he was just standing out on the rail and like leaning on a smoking cigarette. And then um >> can you call her and see if she wants to prosecute cuz we had to tackle this guy and fight him. So >> no. Um >> um no just cuz like I mean I did it. >> Yeah. He just left it like on the counter so I just kind of like walked up slight back and >> they didn't want to prosecute. >> I guess I'm taking him for resisting. >> He was charged with resisting arrest. The stores declined to press theft charges because the merchandise had been recovered while he also had a prior criminal trespass conviction at the same airport. Trying to play the victim does not erase the consequences of your actions. When the evidence is clear, resisting officers only makes the situation worse. Next, let's move on to this woman who showed no shame when stealing someone else's belongings. >> I came back and then all of a sudden you were like, "Oh my god, my bag fell." >> Yeah. >> And I'm like, "What?" >> Do you want to talk about what happened or >> No. Okay. My attorney said that too. Just >> On the 4th of February 2026, police received a call from a woman reporting that she had lost a black Chanel purse valued at more than $7,000 while having dinner at a restaurant. After immediately arriving at the scene, the victim [music] explained in detail what had happened. >> So, were you sitting out here or at the bar? >> At the bar. >> At the bar. >> I came back and then all of a sudden you were like, "Oh my god, my bag." >> And I'm like, "What are you talking about?" That's you. And I was like, >> so a black Chanel purse. >> What was the color of the like the Was it a gold slot? >> Yeah, it's a it's a Chanel. >> Okay. Was you remember the brand of your leather wallet? >> It's not a brand. It's just an Italian. >> What color was your wallet? >> Gold. >> Gold. Okay. And your PNC debit card? Uh >> PNC TD Bank of America. >> Now, is there a chance you you left your first home by any chance or are you positive you bought it? >> I am positive I came out. I'm very together. Trust me, I am very I'm a very head on my shoulder. >> No problem. >> They had a table that's was at the far end. >> Him and I stepped away and we went to the bar. So, he ordered another drink and I wanted to eat so I ordered something to eat. >> Where was the purse at that point? >> I think it was left on the where he was sitting on the on that sofa. There's a sofa back in that corner somewhere. Okay. You believe that the the purse was left on the sofa >> right >> where you were sitting? You don't believe you brought it to the bar? >> I don't believe. >> Shortly after, police entered the restaurant to search for the purse. Since quite some time had already passed, they had to keep approaching different people and asking them about it. >> We're looking for a block over. No, don't know. >> That's trash. >> That's trash. I'll let you know if I see it. >> We appreciate I'll let the officer know. That'd be great. >> Thank you. Hey guys, anybody turn in a black Chanel purse? >> Anyone turn in a black Chanel purse? >> Thank you. >> I don't want to. >> Hey guys, let me interrupt. She happened to see a black Chanel purse laying around. >> Someone said she was flinging her purse around all night. So >> she's going I'm sorry. >> Someone said she was flinging her purse around. >> That's what I was trying to see. No problem. No worries. No worries. It'd be evidence. >> I started the night here. We were basically here with a group of people. She wasn't really here. She was standing and walking with my buddy Steve. She then transitioned. They were sitting right here. Okay. >> Like the entire night. My group of friends, they get up to leave. I transition over. I'm hanging out with them. I I talked to one guy back there for a little bit. I'm like walking around. I her whole time. And then all of a sudden, I get a walk. I come back and they're like, "Her bag's gone. You guys may need to run some footage for a little bit, but not a crazy amount." What really freaks me out, and I'm not trying to be like profiling anybody. There was a guy I was talking to right there. He was in definit. He was not dressed well. He said he was from New York. I like talked to him for a little bit and then he's like, "Oh, I was like, I'm going to go walk around, see if there's any ladies here." I walk around, I come back, he's gone, and then bag's gone. Now, it could be just bad timing, but it was he was like the least rested guy here. You know what I mean? It was a little weird >> and it seemed to be his first time here. The last man also provided important information that helped identify a group of people and a man who might be involved. Shortly afterward, the victim also provided additional information related to that group. >> Explain, you know, what time you got there, how how everything started. >> Oh, I got to the meat market. I stepped out to have something to eat. I went inside. I saw my friend Steve and Case was sitting down with a with a group of friends. He introduced me to a couple of ladies who I had met several times before. So, they were with a couple of ladies and they invited me to sit down. I put my bag down but didn't sit down. I stood up to converse with Steve. He offered me a drink, looked around for my purse, and my purse was gone. >> Okay. And what type of purse was this? >> This is a Chanel bag. It's a flap. It's a medium size. You you told the officer in the initial recording was about $3,000. So you would say it's about roughly $7,000 right now. >> Yes. >> Okay. So this is your purse here, correct? That black purse? >> Yes. >> So this female, you don't know who's touching your purse at the moment. >> Oh, she did. Wow. Okay. And as you can tell, it's exactly across from me. >> This is your purse? >> That's correct. That's my purse. Yes, that is my >> This female should not be touching your purse. You don't know her. And um have you spoke to any of the females? >> No. >> And you're saying that you don't you don't necessarily know them? >> No, I don't know them at all. I just met them that night. I was introduced by Case. Case was being polite. He saw me coming. He said hello. He introduced me to the ladies >> to his group. >> Based on the CCTV footage provided by the victim, police were able to contact the man involved on February 11th. During the conversation, he began to reveal some information about the suspect. >> I'm going to show you a video here on my computer. Can you tell me who this person is here with the brown jacket, white shirt? >> That's going to be me. >> Okay. And who is the female that's sitting right next to you with the white dress? >> Right. So, I only know basically her first name. It's Sandra. Um I had met her that night. >> Okay. >> Um and I believe she's just friends of one of the friends that I was with that night. So, and the only one I know that she's friends with is a woman named Simona, which >> that's the one in Yes, that's the one I So, you're saying that she's Simona is friends with um to >> to the best of my knowledge. Yes. >> And then do you know who this other female is right here with the black dress, the the taller one? >> Let's see. Uh yes, that's Mallalerie. That would be Simona's cousin who's visiting from Texas. >> And at any point, did you see her uh take a purse that was uh next to you guys? I did not view anything personally. I only later in the night um after that the group that I was sitting with had left and Steve alerted me that her bag was missing and they believed it was stolen. >> And who provided you with Sandra's phone number? >> My uh Mallerie who's uh Simona's cousin was trying to watch the Knicks game on her phone. the battery was really low and so I brought I left for like a minute to get a battery pack like a wireless battery pack for my car and both girls uh Sandra and Mallerie were really impressed by that and they said can you send me the link on Amazon for the battery pack and I said sure. So I sent it to Mallerie and then Sandra said okay well send it to me here's my number and she gave me her phone number and I texted her. >> The picture here that you see is this Sandra? >> That is Sandra. Yes. >> Okay. Police directly called Sandra, but she shifted the blame onto another friend who she claimed was holding the purse. Officers [snorts] then contacted that friend to find out what had happened. >> What's your name? >> Simona Rosenberg. >> There was an incident that occurred at the meat market. Was that the last time you you went there? >> Yes. >> Okay. And who were you there with that day? >> My cousin Mallerie. >> Okay. >> My friend Lauren, my friend Sandra. >> Okay. >> A couple other people filled in to say hi. I don't recall everyone's name. Do you know this woman here with the white dress? >> Sandra. >> It's probably Here, let me get you a better >> Sandra uh Fredo. >> What about Sandra? Did she come with you? >> No. Sandra Met. >> Okay. How well do you know Sandra? >> She's a newer friend, but four or five months. >> I was just at her birthday party last night in at her home. >> Did you ever tell her that you left maybe your purse or anything behind? >> No. >> She hasn't mentioned that to you. >> I was there with a black Air Mouse purse. I think I had my body purse there. Oh, I never [laughter] said I left behind. >> What about um Sandra? Did she ever talk to you about any like a purse or anything? >> No. >> There was this woman had her a black Chanel purse. >> Mhm. >> Next to us on the bench. And that's >> And how do you know that was her purse? >> She said, "That's mine." Cuz we said, "Who's this?" She says, "That's mine." >> So >> Ally came with a purse this a small clutch this big. I don't know what Sandra had. I had a my own black bag that was in this corner behind Mallalerie. >> Okay. >> And there was a Chanel purse right here. >> And I'll tell you now, so that black purse went missing. >> And um you can see that Sandra took the purse that night. The purse belongs to my victim here. She called and set that up the camera. >> The woman became extremely distressed after learning that her friend had been accused of taking the purse. Since she had clearly been dragged into the situation unintentionally, the officers tried to reassure her. I'm going to pick that up. >> No, I'm not going to do it yet. But I am no stone person. I'm not going to do with you. >> I haven't I haven't talked to her yet. >> Why are you crying? There's nothing to do with you. >> No, no, no, no. You don't know her well enough and you don't know what she's up to. It's not your problem, nor your noral calm down. Take a deep breath. And now we get That's not your problem. >> I know, but he's just trying to get to the bottom of it. >> I trust stole a place >> and you you saw on the camera that somebody who I invited to dinner that that S was a friend of mine. He paid for everyone's dinner. [laughter] >> And he's saying who's you have to ask when you want to tell me. He's saying you saw on camera that you saw she stole the purse. >> I saw that she walked out of the purse. >> It's okay. You did horrible. Jamie, >> you're not in trouble though. >> I'm at a birthday party last night at her home. She wealthy woman. >> She's the chick that does my Botox. What? >> It's upsetting, Jamie. >> 100%. But you're not in trouble. Imagine you sat here and you thought you had something wrong. >> I know. I really sat right. >> Yes. >> Okay. Breathe. Breathe. Breathe. It's not you. It's not your daughter. I'm trying to calm you down. It's nothing to do with anything you did. >> Thank God. >> So, is it a nice purse? It's a beautiful black Chanel purse. Cuz they said, "Who is this?" And that blonde woman, her hair was all wacky. She said, "That's mine." We said, "Okay." >> We didn't know. She was a lady standing at the bar. She was going back and forth. I want you to breathe. Sit down. First of all, I want you to breathe. Get very nervous. >> No, I know. It's terrible. I was just in this woman's home last, >> right? I don't want you to get upset, though. I know we ex We get crazy. Take a deep breath. Want some lemonade? >> Take a deep breath and take I know we our nerves are bad. >> Okay. So, all I needed from you was basically to confirm that you know that is Sandra. You have no play in this case. I already spoke to two other people who confirmed it was her. >> You don't want anything right now, right? >> I will. >> How about I didn't ruin the appetite? >> No. Oh, I'll figure it out. Set it up. >> Under pressure from several sides, the woman eventually decided to come forward herself, but she still had no intention of admitting any wrongdoing and chose to remain silent rather than acknowledge the crime. >> Hi, nice to meet you. >> I'm going to have So, the way it's going to work is we're going to have a female officer come and she's going to search you to make sure you don't have any weapons or anything. Um, >> okay. >> Do you have anything? What What do you have on you right now? >> My cell phone and my keys and this for my glasses. >> Okay. I'm sure you don't want Do you want to talk about what happened or? >> No. >> Okay, that's fine. >> Yeah, my attorney said like to just talk to him directly. >> Yeah, that's understandable. >> Yeah. So, we're just going to wait on her. So, what happened is we're going to bring you to our booking facility. >> Mhm. >> And there we're just going to take a quick picture of you. >> Okay. >> Everything's already practically done. So, we're going to have a road officer come and they're going to transport you to county jail once you know they're ready. >> Okay. Do you know I have a preset bond? The bond will tell you when you get there. I try to find out. >> Yeah. It is all depends on >> every case is different. So, >> okay. >> It it becomes difficult to find out exactly what happened. You know what I mean? >> Mhm. >> So, >> I'm just going based on the facts that I have answer. >> Yeah. >> And she doesn't want to prosecute. So, >> so what does that mean that she wants to prosecute? What do you What does that mean? >> Um, she could have said, you know, she doesn't want to prosecute and we would have just left it at that. >> Um, but she was very persistent. She's like, no, I want her, you know, I want to prosecute. This is Sergeant and she's going to be searching. Okay. >> Okay. >> We'll just go straight to Bing. Right. >> Okay. >> Straight toward that door. He's going to sit in for now. Um the uh So, you need a mask, right? >> Yeah. >> All right. We're going to take some clothes off, right? >> Um do I wear? In the end, Sandra Fidell was arrested for grand theft after police recovered the stolen Chanel purse. The lesson here is that [music] staying silent or shifting blame does not erase the evidence against you. Once surveillance footage and witness statements establish what happened, avoiding responsibility can only make the situation more difficult. Next, what began as a simple traffic stop led officers to uncover a seasoned criminal. They're counterfeited. You know why? Cuz you all have the same zero number. Receive here from Walgreens. That's why you bought it with the with the gift card. >> On the 27th of December 2023, officers [snorts] conducted a routine traffic stop, but they never expected it would lead to one crime after another being uncovered. As soon as they approached the vehicle, they immediately smelled a suspicious odor. >> So, she says that either her baby daddy or her boyfriend smokes marijuana. >> Yeah, I can smell the weed coming out of the car. >> It's not really a big deal. We're not We're not saying you smoke marijuana, but if you're saying your either your baby daddy or your boyfriend, I'm already confused smokes marijuana and this is carb, that there could be a reason why we're smelling it. >> Does that make sense? >> Yeah, that makes sense. I didn't know it the car was carb. >> Okay. >> Tell me a little bit about you. What do you do? What kind of work you do? >> Um, I do a little bit of everything. I do masses. >> Okay. >> And also I sell lingerie. >> And you sell lingerie? >> Yeah. Behind the passenger seat, a large amount of merchandise was scattered around, immediately raising the officer's suspicions. They then asked the woman to step out of the vehicle so they could proceed with the next steps. >> Any firearms in the car? >> No. >> Just go back there. I don't want I don't want you to get hit back home. >> Anything on you I should know about? >> That's fine. Don't reach for anything. I'm going to have a female pat just come and pat you down. Here's where we're at. The reason we're searching your car is because like my partner said, we do smell the order of marijuana coming from the from the inside of the car. So like to search the inside of your vehicle. You understand that? >> So you're just going to hang out with my partner here and you're going to look through your vehicle. If there's nothing that if there's nothing in this vehicle, then you just go about your business. You understand? >> Okay. >> Do you think there would be marijuana in the car like you're building? >> Maybe. Possibly. >> I don't think, but you know. >> Okay. There's a lot. There's a lot of cash to be handling by such a young lady by herself. No, >> I just went to the ATM. >> You went to the ATM? >> Yeah. >> The ATM gives you that this much money. I used to work for a bank. I used to work for a bank. >> I went to the ATM and I got a couple dollars. I already had some money since last night. >> Gift cards, right? >> Yeah. >> I always have gift cards. >> Yeah, I know. >> That's what >> Okay, so let's let's try this again. You live in Miami Gardens, which is not right here. That's two different counties. >> Mhm. >> Why would you drive all the way to the Weston Walgreens? >> No, that's why I said I was already coming through the area. I was going to >> Where is your ultimate goal right now? Where are you heading to? >> To pick up the baby. >> Where's the baby? >> Sunrise. >> What part of Sunrise? >> Uh, that's not >> What's the address? >> By university. I don't know the address. I just know how to get there. She kept changing her story, making her statements increasingly inconsistent, as if she were hiding something. The officers then decided to handcuff her after discovering it. Come here, man. Come here. Turn around. Put your hands on your back. You're being the same for right now. >> They're counterfeited. You know why? >> Cuz you all have the same serial number. >> Yep. >> Yes. I was working at the club when someone gave me >> You were what? >> I was working with the club the other night and somebody could come. >> You just said you do massages and sell lingerie. You work at the club, too. >> I don't know. That's not something that I like to >> Here. >> I'm a dancer. >> Oh, you're a dancer, too? >> Yes. >> So, you're a massager. >> You sell lingerie? >> I do a little bit of >> You're a dancer? >> Yes. >> And you spontaneously uttered that somebody gave those to you? >> Yes. when I was dancing in the club. >> From possessing illegal drugs to carrying counterfeit money, she hardly seemed surprised, as if she had known about it all along. But it wasn't over yet, as the officers discovered several more items suspected of being stolen. This has fraud written all over it, bro. >> Let me ask a question. You just left Walgreens, right? >> From South. Well, probably some more blames. >> Yes, I I purchased >> What? What did you just find? >> I purchased everything. >> Okay. >> I was just about to put them on. >> All right. So, get getting back to the bags that you were seen carrying out of Walgreens. >> Yes. >> Did you buy it? >> Yes. >> You have a receipt? >> It's a digital receipt. That's what she said. >> It's a digital receipt. >> Yes. Because when you have a Walgreens card, all I have to do is put mine on it. >> Did you use any other money to to make a purchase? >> Cash? No. Yes. No cash. >> It's time to pay. >> You have comes out. >> No, that's my rent money. >> So, how much am How much is right here in these 20s? Two grand. >> And you said you got it off from the ATM. Not all of it. >> Where'd you get the rest of it? >> You went Okay. So, how much did you withdraw from the ATM? >> Um, just about >> How about how much? >> Again, 900. >> 900 or grand? Okay. >> She continued lying to the officers, but none of it fooled them. As they kept searching the vehicle, every additional item they found only reinforced their suspicions. Where did you get this from? Huh? >> Everything is at Walgreens. >> Okay. Did you just get this from our Walgreens? >> Huh? >> Yes. I just told you that. >> And where is your receipt for this? >> Everything went to the online receipt. >> I understand. But they still print you a receipt out. >> No, they don't. They when they do digital they don't give you the front >> right here at the button. Stay right there. >> If it doesn't pop with the button yet we're seeing here from Walgreens. That's why you bought it with the with the gift card. You >> know, it's all making sense. >> So, what I think is happening is gift cards are being bought with the counterfeit money. >> Mhm. >> And then that's what I think. >> I didn't purchase them with any counterfeit. You go to Walgreens. I didn't use any counterfeit. I literally >> You're in possession of counterfeit bills. >> Yes. when I was working at the club. That's what they gave me. >> You know that's illegal, right? >> I didn't All I was doing was trying to make my rent money, sir. >> Okay, >> that was it. That was it. They told me try to go to the bank, see if it was cheap it out from that makes sense. >> In fact, the woman had driven from Miami Gardens to Weston to shop while carrying counterfeit money and gift cards. The officers suspected she was involved in a fraud scheme, and she eventually admitted to making those purchases. 700. >> You spent $700 right now? >> Yeah. >> Oh, what? >> Was it the gift cards? >> Yeah, I got one gift card and I got all my um >> Okay, so your total bill, >> did you do multiple purchases or just one? >> Oh, he told me to do it separate. >> So, how many individual purchases did you make? >> Oh, I just did two. >> You did two? Yeah. And so, two purchases. And the total, the grand total for both purchases was how much? About $700. >> About $700. >> And so you live in Miami Gardens. >> Yes. >> You drive all the way to Weston. >> You don't live here. You have no family that lives here. >> Like I told you, >> I know you told like I told you, the story just doesn't make sense. >> Cuz you're saying your baby is somewhere in Sunrise. So why wouldn't you just go to the Walgreens and Sunrise? >> To be honest with you, I was already angry. I was on the phone talking. That's probably why I didn't notice the stop sign. was on the phone talking, venting, and I went to go get the to original pancake, but then I end up changing my mind. So, I just >> Right. So, look, >> kept driving. >> I I it still doesn't make sense, but if that's your story, you're sticking to it, that's fine. Listen, I don't want you to get in trouble for what someone else may have you doing. So, I'm a fraud guy. And I don't know if that's clicking in your head what that means, but all of these money orders and cards and gift cards, I'm going to write subpoenas for. I'm going to backtrack them. I'm going to see who the victims are. I will get my answers. This is not legal what you're doing. Okay? I don't want you to get in trouble for what someone else is having you do. Think about your kid right now. Nobody else. You and your kid. In the end, the woman was charged with petty theft, possession of forged bills, and three drugrelated offenses. One lie often demands another until the truth becomes impossible to defend. In the end, it is not just the original crime that brings consequences, [music] but every dishonest choice made to cover it up. Next, this woman turned her crime into a felony without a care. >> All right, listen. >> What? >> Don't do that. What's the hang of? >> I don't know. Y'all all three big Come on. >> Okay. >> On the 19th of September 2024, deputies responded to a Walmart after receiving a report that a woman had been removing security tags from merchandise inside a fitting room. They had no idea that what appeared to be a simple shoplifting investigation would ultimately lead to four additional criminal charges. Here's what happened when they arrived at the scene. >> Come here. >> Cuz they said something about you might be taking some stuff out of the the department out of there. >> Yeah. Hey, you ain't got nothing done any bag? >> I got my twins in there though right now. >> You got a twin in there? >> Just like me. >> Really? Wearing the same thing you got? >> No, but she does have red hair. You better >> Okay. Well, we'll figure that out here in just a second. Come here. They said that you come out of the dressing room with a bunch of tags. Popping tags. Is that true? >> No, I got babies. >> Okay. Well, come over here so we can figure it out. >> Huh? >> Come over here so we can figure it out. Where are you going to? >> No. >> All right. Listen. The woman had no intention of stopping to cooperate with the investigation, clearly showing that she was afraid something would be discovered. Moments later, she suddenly fled, only reinforcing that suspicion even further. >> Don't do that. >> NOPE. >> AUSTIN, don't do it. Don't do it. No >> 97 65 28 out of Florida India Hotel 1 5 Golf. >> Hey, stop the car. >> NO, FOR REAL. GO >> stop the car. Just hang around. >> No, cuz I'm not about to be in trouble for something. >> Okay. >> What happened? >> They said that they're witnessing you popping tags. >> Let's just figure it out. >> Well, I wasn't. >> Okay, that's fine. We'll figure it out. Pull up here for a minute, Austin. >> What happened? We're trying to get to the bottom of it. Loss Prevention's got her in there popping tags off of items. >> Wait, I hear my twins in there, too. >> Walmart. >> Okay. You got a twin? >> Yes, actually. >> Okay, that's fine. >> She ain't even came out yet. >> Okay, that's fine. Did she ride up here with you? >> No. >> All right, Austin, pull it up here real quick just so we can figure it out. >> Listen, dude. It's fine. If you if she ain't done nothing, we're going to get to the bottom of it. >> After stubbornly using her vehicle as a shield to protect herself, she began fabricating a story, claiming that the real suspect was not her, but another member of her family. >> What is it? >> My twin sister Nick like he kept on saying like me and her him had something to do with and I got out of there because my sister was in there doing >> breathing so heavy. Where's your sister at? She's she was left her ass. >> Who's your sister? >> But she look just like me, dog. We're identical twins. >> Are y'all? >> Hell yeah. >> What's your uh what's your first name? >> Uh Miranda. >> Miranda. Probably. >> What's your middle name? >> It's not a big deal, man. We're just trying to figure out. >> Oh, you know what I'm saying? Just like the cop just, you know, been calm. >> But I can't control what he >> But don't don't take it out on me. Okay. I mean, he like he didn't even go look to go see. >> Well, he had some. >> Deputies confirmed that she did in fact have a twin sister inside the store. However, that did nothing to change the direction of the investigation as her earlier attempt to flee was clearly suspicious. As a result, deputies decided to detain her at that point. >> Okay. Okay. >> Get out. I'll call you back. >> What are you What's the hang up there? >> I don't know. Y'all all three big out. Come on. >> Oh, there. Oh [ __ ] My pants got a hole in them. >> Hey, hold on. >> Let go. [ __ ] >> I was just putting it down for you. Damn. You ain't have to do that. >> I ain't doing nothing. >> Yeah, you are. >> Dog said a word to you. >> Hey, can I get somebody else handle my ass? >> Hey, too. I love it. >> Just cooperate. I got it was about the car things. >> Can you stop caring burning burn on my arm? I love it. My ass hanging out. I got holes in my pants. >> She got the browning tattoo on her right inside. >> Yeah, he did. >> Yeah. Immediately after handcuffing the suspects, deputies searched their bags and found merchandise that directly contradicted the woman's repeated denial of the shoplifting allegations. More jewelry stuff. Yeah, they said jewelry. Stolen. Hey, she also made me Are you serious? >> Yeah. >> Damn. Back on. >> Right there. >> I literally think I know. He said >> that's a giant torch lighter. Oh [ __ ] The torch lighter stuck out first. Anybody got a test? >> Yeah. Actually, >> that might be real. >> It might be for speed. >> I came across it. Is that real? >> That's a clean ass. It might be >> all different shape. >> Go ahead and tell that scale. >> It could be. >> Don't Don't Yeah. Hold on. >> That's some cleaning. See, I wanted [music] to be super concerned right now with a search car. >> Oh, dude. He was definitely super concerned. >> That's why he just wants to get out. >> Yeah, he gassed up and was trying to leave whenever I pulled in. Dude, a scale. >> At this point, the case had escalated far beyond a simple shoplifting investigation and into a drugrelated offense. Yet, she seemed completely unfased by the seriousness of the situation, remaining cheerful and carefree as everything unfolded. >> I ain't find your [ __ ] >> Okay. >> Yo, that's what you do. Let me hell no. I got holes in my pants and [ __ ] >> Hold on. Now, you ain't get in my car like that. We uh we putting them back in the bag. >> What? >> You ain't getting my bag. >> I don't know [ __ ] >> At least you don't put me just >> Thank you. >> I'm going to fix some stuff for you. >> I was just trying to put my shoes back on. >> What? >> Big ass bag. >> What you want? Yeah, cuz I just grabbed my my sister's diaper bag. >> Oh, yeah. That's mine. >> That That ain't email. >> And it's mine. >> Put your hands behind. >> Yes. >> I get a cigarette. >> I told you if you cool me, I would. >> All right. >> All right. But you can't be putting your cuffs up front. All right. You can't do that. My hurts, man. I don't mind. That's his m. >> Hell no. Who are you? >> Who are you? >> All right. You have a seat back. >> How do you know me? >> Have a seat back in the car. >> All right. You You better not get that cigarette. You back in my car. >> Wait, let me get a cigarette, too. Oh, the whole reason I did that is to put my shoe back on. Oh, >> he left that part. It's all right, man. We'll put him back on to jail. You going to have to take them off anyways. >> All right. Hey, >> watch out. >> In the end, the woman was charged with retail theft, trafficking, and methamphetamine, resisting an officer without violence, and providing false identification during a law enforcement investigation. A lie may complicate an investigation, but fleeing, resisting, and carrying far more serious evidence can transform a minor theft into a life-changing criminal case. Contrary, the thief was the employee, which was even more shocking. >> Yeah. Okay. >> They're the bags. Now, you see it's all right there. Right now, he's going to grab it, cover it. On April 26th, 2023, the police received a call from an airport reporting that a theft had taken place there. The suspect was identified as one of their employees who had stolen mobile devices from passengers at the location. Let another employee there explain the incident more clearly. >> Okay, so it's two temporary associates, two temporary associates who work through me. Pretty much what happened was uh the ladies reported their items missing and then we went through the cameras and we verified who it was. Um he's currently working on the floor. So what what we want to do is um we have permission to interrogate him the by the by the staffing agency. >> Oh okay. >> And [laughter] um but we're we're scared that there might be like you know him trying to run off or >> Okay. I mean we can go back there with you. >> Okay. >> So you guys actually saw him do it? >> Yes. So, three cell phones. >> It's three cell phones. It's uh her car keys. >> Oh, it's your stuff. >> Yeah. >> Oh, I'm sorry. Let me Can I get your uh You got your license and all that? >> It's in the >> Yeah, it's in the It's in um It's in my bag. >> That was in the bag. My car. >> Oh, your the whole bag was stolen. >> Everything was stolen. >> Yeah. Everything. >> Oh, okay. >> Um she tried to track her phone, but the phones were turned off. >> You said three phones. >> Mine My mom's phones. >> Okay. So, your phones. >> Okay. >> I mean phones. >> Okay. It's never ending. >> To further strengthen the witness statements, the police also collected additional evidence from the recorded camera footage >> or whatever. >> Then he came back and got it, went in the bathroom, put it all in one bag >> and walked off. >> Is that him right there? >> Oh, he didn't came in yet. She's praying now. While she's praying, when her bags turn, you going to see him come in. >> There he is. >> Okay. >> There bags. Now you see it's all right there. All right. Now he going to grab it, cover it, put it at the bottom. You see it's gone. That's his stuff right there where he hid it. >> Oh, covered it. >> Yeah, he covered it all up on his jacket. >> You seen him walk off with it? >> Yeah. Show again. >> He's fairly new. >> How long has he been working here? >> About a week. About a week. >> Oh, Lord. >> Yeah, it's he's new. [laughter] >> You want us to wait? >> Huh? >> You want us to wait? Okay. Although there was already sufficient information to convict the man, they gave him a chance to be honest, but it seemed he had disappointed everyone. >> Okay, so we are going to interrogate you. >> We did have some items being reported missing. >> Um, we did go through cameras and we did see you take them. >> I took them. I didn't take them. I ain't had no All I have in my backpack. >> Did you have a black >> hoodie? Yeah, I had a black hoodie up. It's in the thing in the on the floor. So, I mean, what I take? All I have is my bag and my hoodie. What color is the bag? >> It's black. >> Black? >> Yeah. >> I ask you again. Did you take the item? >> No, I didn't. You can go check that camera again if you showed them. I don't have nothing on but my bag and my black hoodie which you seen me on camera. So, how could I take it when take what? What did I take? I went and tell when I went in the break room. I had a black bag and my hoodie in the break room, but I didn't take nothing. >> Okay. Yeah, cuz we did go through the cameras and we did see the bag being taken and it was kind of like wrapped up in the hoodie >> and whenever you stepped out, the bag was missing. So it was there before you came in and then when you left it wasn't there and you're the only one who did, you know, walk into that break room. >> Somebody walked in before me. Somebody was like it was like a >> somebody was praying. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Yeah, we did see that. We saw that. But then you came after. >> Really? >> Yeah. You you you walked back in after. >> No, I don't have none. You check check the bags. All my bags. I don't have none. >> Okay. >> Did you Did you ride with someone? >> No, I ain't ride with nobody. >> Did you drive? >> Yeah. What do you drive? >> Uh I walked to the car with uh one of my friends just though, but I didn't drive nobody. Somebody drove me here. >> Somebody drove me here? >> Yeah. Okay. >> He denied everything without realizing that the police had already known it all. Watch the man's attitude at that moment as the officers laid out his actions and give us your comment about your feelings. >> So, when the first initial view, you come in there and you're looking through a bag. At the time, while you're looking through the bag, you're looking at the individual praying to see if she ever turns around. >> It was a gray and silver bag >> that you were looking in. >> You departed from the break room area. You ended up coming back in. At that time, your hoodie was off. >> You came in just your white t-shirt. >> You took that bag that you were looking through, that gray and silver bag. Yeah. >> And you relocated to the very low shelf all the way on the floor. >> And that's when you covered it up with your hoodie. >> That's when you covered it up with your hoodie. >> Then you walked out. >> You walked out. >> And then you came in roughly about 20 about 20 minutes later, >> grabbed that item, bending over, grabbing that bag with your hoodie still wrapped around it, disguising it, and walked out of the breaker. >> You would have seen me wrap it up though. Y'all had me on camera wrapping wrap me up with a >> Okay. So, you just stated that you put your bag on the very top shelf. You never reach the top shelf. >> No, I'm talking about the second shelf. It's the same from the bottom. >> That's the same. But that's the same shelf, though. >> No, no, it's the second from the bottom and then you put it on the bottom shelf. >> I don't have You can check all my belongings. I don't I don't have nothing. >> Well, the fact that you took a bag and you went and took it out to the car and the car is no longer on air. >> No, the car the car didn't land. The car never I never went to the car with my bag. You can check on the thing outside. I never went to the car. Nobody left. >> You walked in. You walked in here with the bag. That means you might that means you took the bag out the premises because when you walked in with Justin, we have on camera that you didn't walk in with. That's what I'm saying. But I never went to no car. Nothing. No. What's her name? Nothing. >> Well, you just said that on break that you that you somebody came by. >> Yeah, >> you're right. >> Somebody came by. I never went into the car with my bag. They he said that he made I left like the stuff left with the person or what. I never had nothing. >> He denied the act and mentioned that his friend was involved in the incident. Soon after that friend was summoned and at that moment the very details the police had been searching for began to surface. >> Uh we went on break like 65. >> Did he have a silver gray bag on him? >> Uh >> anything walk outside? >> Probably like Adidas bag. That's about it. >> A what? >> Adidas bag like a book bag? >> Like a black one? >> Do you hand it off to anyone? >> Not that I know of. [ __ ] >> How long have you known him for? >> [ __ ] He just started. Well, I say I've been here for a minute. This type of [ __ ] don't never have never got pulled off the floor. Huh? >> How long you been here? >> Like [ __ ] This going to be coming up on my third month. >> Okay. >> Can you open it? >> I got socks. This slides, wipes, deodorant, headphones. Got this first. I ain't got nothing, bro. But socks and diapers in here, bro. I don't got nothing. I swear. >> You mind if I take a look? >> Yeah. >> Just want to check. Okay. >> Who's Stephanie? Probably one of them. >> Probably one of who? >> One of them. >> One of who? >> One of them that they right there. Cuz like I said, that bag wasn't his. >> That bag was what? >> That bag wasn't his lock. That's He probably put that in there. >> Off. Do we know the victim's name? >> Huh? >> That was inside of his bag. >> That's what >> that was inside of his bag. >> I don't know if that's the victim's name. >> So, how did that get in there, man? >> Somebody had I put >> Come on, man. >> If it's a 155, bro, I never put that in my locker. That's the lock I put his in. >> You're saying it's Justin? I don't know. >> You're saying Justin put that in there? >> Listen, man. Be real with us, okay? Why is this in your bag? >> I didn't put that in my bag. >> Why is it in your bag? >> It's not. I didn't put >> Why? >> Be truthful. Okay. >> Yeah. >> This can go one or two ways. Okay. So, why was this in your bag? >> I didn't put that in my bag. You keep saying it wasn't. That's not I didn't put that in my bag. We left. >> He still insisted that he was being set up even after the evidence was found. But the person he called a friend had already begun to admit everything. >> He took that. Like, I ain't even going to play. You took your locker as well? >> No, >> that's that was the same place I had my other stuff in. I didn't take nothing, bro. I didn't take nothing. You can check the cameras or nothing. I don't have I don't have nothing, bro. >> Okay. >> This is the first day you use his locker. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Yes, sir. >> He knows Stephanie. >> Mhm. >> But he never he never use Never let Stephanie use his locker. >> Yeah. She didn't he don't let her use a lock cuz I'm the only one that's used. >> So why was that in your backpack? >> Somebody had to have put that in my bag. I didn't take nothing. I don't have nothing, bro. I didn't take nothing. That was in your bag, man. >> That was in my bag cuz somebody probably put it in there. If you see me on camera, >> we asked you if that bag was yours. You said yes. You opened your bag, started going through and telling us what was inside of it. I asked you for consent to search it as well. Just secondary search. You gave me yes. I pulled that straight out of the main compartment. >> That's That was not But that's in my bag, but that don't mean that I had it. I put it in there. You see me with that bag on there. You see me leave with it. Anybody could have slipped it. I left out. And I put my bag down before I left out. Anybody was y'all can't just put that on me and y'all seen me. If y'all didn't see me grab something on camera, >> huh? >> We never got your victim's name, right? >> That's right. >> That's what I'm thinking. >> If y'all didn't see me on camera, y'all can't What's her name? Y ain't nothing. What can y'all do? >> Where's the silver and gray bag at? >> I don't have no silver and gray bag. Y'all found that with that in my backpack, but I don't have no s gray bag. Somebody could have put that in there. Anybody could have put that in How many people? >> So, why would they why would they take that little coin purse >> and put it in mine? >> Put it in your backpack and then you relocate it from the break room to Justin's locker. I relocated cuz that's why I grabbed my bag. I put it in that in that lock or whatever. >> You put your backpack on the top shelf in the break room. >> Yes. Y'all got to redo the cameras again. Now y'all doing redoing cameras, man. The cameras show what they show. >> You you if you didn't see me you see you didn't see me grab no bag. You see me grab my hoodie, grab my beep. >> Immediately after that, the police decided to handcuff the man and prepare to take him to the station for further investigation. But it seemed he still had one more surprise waiting behind. >> Turn around. Dude, I thought you said you left this at home, man. You said you don't have your ID card. You left all that stuff at home. You're not allowed to carry your wallet on you. >> 42, I got one on foot. 42, I got one headed northbound on Valley View Road. We're at that >> 42 42 view. I got him right here. Stay on the ground. >> Do not move. >> 42. I have him right here by the side of the bridge. I thought the ATP. >> Do not move. Do you hear me? >> All right. >> Stupid move. >> All right. All right. All right. Okay. Okay. Okay. >> No. There ain't no Okay, man. >> Stupid move on your part, man. >> You know what? >> At this point now, you ran >> behind me, right? >> Get him up. Get him up. >> Damn. Yeah, you man. >> Let's go. Let's go. >> The man was charged with theft of property, fraud involving the use or possession of identifying information, fraudulent use or possession of a credit or debit card, and escape while under arrest, a felony offense. A single reckless decision followed by lies and a desperate escape only deepened his downfall because the truth always catches up and running from it only makes the consequences heavier. Next, two girls, but two completely different fates. She threw the box right there and then she goes back. Ameilia goes back and make sure that [laughter] please protect my girl. >> On the 17th of April 2025, officers received a report from Walmart after two suspects were caught shoplifting inside the store. But it quickly became clear these suspects were far from simple. Here's what unfolded when police arrived at the scene. >> Hi, I'm Officer Lucia Albuquerque Police Department. You guys are both detained, not free to leave in regards to the shoplifting, and then you're a runaway. Okay. How long have you been away from CFD? >> I'm on a runway. >> Are you in CFD custody? >> Yes. >> Okay. They have you as missing. That's why I'm saying. Okay. >> Who are you supposed to be with? >> I I'm I live in a housing program. >> Do you have a what? >> Have a housing program. I live like >> I'll try through a program through CFD. >> That's right. [snorts] >> I'm not missing. My housing manager is outside right now. >> Okay. I don't know. I'm just telling you what when I ran you that's the information that popped up. Maybe they meant to take you out and they didn't. Yeah. You know what I mean? >> So the cops just got >> Are you APD? >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> I'm just waiting for my to >> Who are you talking to? >> I found the glue. That was it. Do I need to get off? [snorts] I got to go, Josh. >> From the trembling, stuttered words of the woman who had been reported missing to the tearful regret of the other girl, both eventually admitted to what they had done. Soon after, officers made their decision. >> Am I still going to be able to go talk to my swag? Okay. So, stand up. Face away from me. I'm going to place you in hand cups. Okay. Face this way. [laughter] >> I'm trying to get these up. That's why the rest of us just that you have. Okay. >> Robert, >> who are you talking to if you don't let me ask you? >> Okay. Did you guys drive here? >> No, I don't know. She's right outside. >> Okay. >> Is your friend? >> No. >> Oh, she's your hugging. Okay. Like I said, just when I ran your information, I was showing that you were missing. Maybe it's old. I don't know. We'll figure it out. Okay. Anything on you that I need to be aware of? Anything that could hurt? Poke me. Okay. We're going to walk to maybe I'll be right back. Yeah. >> All right. I'll be right back. >> And then here to the right. Okay. >> When we get to my vehicle, I'm going to conduct what's just a pat down. It's just for weapons before you sit in my vehicle. Okay. >> What's your first name? I'm >> The other girl was identified as a 17-year-old reported missing. So, the guardian from the program she mentioned was called to the scene to handle the situation. >> Okay. >> She showed me the receipt. It's 27. I used to work last prevention. So, um I kind of explained to her I understood like the they saw them. They have them on video. >> Did the did the juvenile call you? Is that how you guys got here or how did you end up? >> Yeah. So, the juvenile called Well, actually called me. Fair enough. Um and she was saying that um they were they were calling APD and uh so I don't know if you know Amelia's back. >> Yeah. >> Sorry. So we just got her out. She just reported a few trial today. Okay. >> And um so I completely understand that what they were saying is they wanted to see her. Right. >> Right. And well I actually haven't talked to them yet. I just didn't know. So basically when I ran the juveniles information she was coming back as a a runaway. >> Okay. So much so that I can get her out. >> So she's in our program. Um I'm so with partnership with CYP and we are responsible for these kids. So we are not but she's >> under so you know you're not missing >> this way. This way. This way. >> Thank you. You have a phone with you? >> No. >> No. Okay. >> That's fine. Just don't smoke in there. Okay. >> Do I Do you have to close the door? >> I have to. Yeah. >> Huh? Yeah, of course I do. >> So, they're both in the same program in the same facility. Okay. >> And so, how did they get here? >> So, they uh she went to pre-trial and they were uh they I dropped them off. Okay. But I had no clue. I had no idea cuz our center Yeah. Cuz our center is down the street. So I took her to pre-trial. >> Back inside the store, a loss prevention employee provided footage that would become nearly impossible evidence for them to deny. >> Right. Um they were, you know, we have two females coming in with bags. I started watching them. I right away noticed Amelia um just from the vlog stuff like that. Um they went and made their way to cosmetics. After cosmetics, Amelia selected some eyelashes and some glue. And then they walked out of cosmetics, went into Home Lines and they went into a corner and they started opening up the packaging. She gave the eyelashes to Amelia or to I'm sorry to Elise. She grabbed the eyelashes, concealed it, and then Amelia got the box and threw it. And then um in that little corner, she concealed the glue. So when we brought him in here, she said, "I didn't take anything." Um it was all my friend. When we did the pat down, they had the stuff that we observed them selecting. So, >> she was like looking around. Oh, it's her again. She threw the box right there and then she goes back. Ameilia goes back and make sure that she like stuffs it in the back. Um, so at that point when they go to the front, I had my partner take over camera and then that's when I I put the packaging already back at customer service, but I went back to the floor and grabbed it and it was empty and honey. >> Okay. >> At this point, officers approached the woman who had initially acted remorseful, but the involvement of her accomplice only added even more charges against her. >> Want to go talking to me about what happened today? >> I don't know. I don't think so. >> Okay. So, no. >> Sorry. It's just cuz last time they told me. >> Okay. So, we won't then we'll we'll we'll take that as a no and then we um I won't ask any questions in regards to what's going on. Um I will be contacting your pre-trial officer just to see what our next steps are going to be in regards to you. You are going to be criminally trespassed from the property um per their request and then we also have the shoplifting portion of it as well. Okay. >> Watch your knees so I can close this. So, you are going to be placed under arrest in regards to the shoplifting and the contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Okay. >> Please could talk to my crew. Please don't do anything. >> So, in regards to your pre-trial officer, obviously he's not here. I had to talk to the supervisor. Okay. The supervisor is not putting forth any type of additional criminal charges. He just has to put in a petition to the judge, and the judge will decide what happens. Okay. Um, please no. Should we talk to him? >> Talk to him. >> The prefold. >> We can definitely try to give him a call, but that's not going to change the outcome of today. Okay. >> Charges. The 17-year-old girl was trespassed from Walmart and released back to her guardian, while the other woman was charged with felony shoplifting, criminal trespassing, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Many offenders believe acting remorseful or shifting the blame will lessen the consequences, but in the end, their own words and actions often become the very thing that makes the charges even worse.
