so i was monitoring uh an overt camera and there's a large ramada off of the swear and while monitoring the camera i noticed a large group of homeless people that were sitting at a bench and a male came out of frame came into frame and walked over to a female and had words with her and then that's when the incident occurred since i'm already at the park i immediately look over and i'm able to see that there's some sort of disturbance going on that looks like a fight between a couple people under the ramada i noticed that he had walked up to her he kind of bent over and whispered something in her ear or said something to her and i just saw him continuously what appeared to be just a hammer fist strike to her shoulders back and chest area probably six or seven times so i saw the stabbing just from the distance of the camera i couldn't tell that he had a knife in his hand although he was at the time stabbing her so i quickly got on the radio and i radioed for assisting officers to head toward the park and luckily detective rohr was right around the corner so i contacted the the suspect in this case i worked with officer lewinson who was watching the cameras we were able to determine who the the suspect was i was able to follow him away um in in my unmarked vehicle made contact with him he wasn't super compliant at first a little bit we were able to get him into custody without incident my interaction with him was was actually pretty peaceful after the initial contact he he was respectful with us and everything like that moments after he had got the suspect into custody there were officers on scene an ambulance on scene and the fire department was there to treat her without royer being on scene without the officers being on scene to treat her who knows where this lady would be and who knows where the suspect would be so it was it was a lot of teamwork and it all came to a perfect conclusion
