There's probably going to be somebody that's in our city that's listening to this. And this is what I would tell them: maybe they don't see themselves as a police officer. Maybe they're like, 'Yep, I am past the time in my life where that's something that would actually be something that would interest me, or I feel like I'm physically capable of doing that job.' But I guarantee that they know somebody that they want to be the person that takes the phone call when their friend or their family is having a big problem and they need somebody with a big solution. That's who we want to listen to this and then take advantage of. Call your nephew, your son, your next-door neighbor who's looking for a really good job that's going to be able to make them a better person and make our city a better place. That's who we want to hire. We want to reflect the community at large. And the way that we can do that, truly, is if you're here and you want to have a meaningful job that's going to make this city better, this is a way to do it. And this is a way to be able to give back to a city that has given us a lot.
